Miranda Sinclair

"T-Two mansions? That wasn't on the job board." Miranda said in alarm, her head whirling back and forth to try, and fail, to discern which was the objective they were searching for. "I suppose if no one ever survived these mansions we couldn't expect an accurate accounting of the facts. That is what we are here f- Eep! What are those!?"

The tome wielding woman thrust her finger out towards the eastern sky to trace the flight of a black mass approaching with great haste towards the motley band of Chasers. They approached with chattering and screeches that developed in clarity with each passing moment till the dwindling distance shattered their cohesion and revealed the mass to be a swarm of bats. It was safe to assume that, given their origin and the path they flew, that they weren't simply scavenging for fruit from the trees this evening.

"Umm, should we be running towards the mansion without the bats or the one that they roost at?" Miranda queried in a hurried manner, fidgeting in place with clammy hands prying open the Tome of Companions to her most familiar page. Depicted upon it was a creature strikingly similar to an azure colored rabbit, with ears long and floppy sweeped back over its body and legs well suited for hopping. However, it's tail was as long as its ears and pressed into its forehead was a striking ruby. Miranda pressed her palm against the page and released the sealed Youkai within.

Jeffers the Carbuncle came into the Crimson Sky stooped upon Miranda's shoulder, his cold, rabbit eyes fixated on the approaching threat. Those inside the book had varying degrees of awareness of the world around them, depending on how much or little Miranda allowed, so it needn't be appraised of the situation. Knowing that the source of its food was inclined towards flight then fight, it glowed a pale light that seeped from the Carbuncle and into Miranda. Scattered leaves upon the ground were repelled in all directions by a whoosh of wind emanating from Miranda as Jeffer's wind magic coursed through her, lightening her frame and giving the normally lanky woman a speed fitting an Olympic athlete.

Perfect for running from her life, assuming Avalanche and the others didn't want to fight a swarm bats.

It's all good, saving Charlie for the next round and gonna note his existence in Bonesword's CS. Expect a few snapdragons in the maze for any unwary fools, and maybe a few snake plants.

Considering the Maze is a frozen storage area, I imagine your plants will die if left unattended like that.

*opens mouth to speak*

... fuck I can't actually reason how Charlie is there. I was under an impression the castle stood over the void on like a small island.

Maybe Charlie is magic? He has eaten a lot of Bonesword's magical demon arms and he's eaten more bibles and crosses than you'd think.

Considering Bonesword can grow these plant constructs, I had thought It make more sense he was actively creating Charlie from inside the Lobby, because saying he burrowed into the castle from the void makes the least sense of any explanation we can think of unless it can fly.

@The 42nd Gecko Charlie certainly isn't on the Shadow List, but since creating plant constructs is an established power of Boneswords, it doesn't really need to be if its something made by him. That it appears to be something PRE-MADE is perhaps an issue, but i'll leave that to @KoL and @TheWindel to deliberate on.
That Kiara never notices Roma is a high B-Cup is her loss.

And what's so wrong with sophistication, KoL~?
Roma Bhakti

The exterior of the museum afforded a rather poor view of the night's sky. Looming before Roma's gaze where the cranes and high pitched roofs of the ship yards, wreathed in a variety of bright lights cast by the beach beyond. Even from the distance separating them, her ears were assailed by the reverberations of party goers swarming across sands.

A rumbling against her breast alerted the Eel that her Tentacool had awoken, it's big eyes creaking open with a flutter that left it staring up her. Roma expected it to latch onto her with its well intentioned Constrict and cry out for affection, but to her surprise the squid pokemon had its attention drawn away by the sounds of gathered trainers. She clutched the bouncing squid to her buxom to keep it from bouncing away into the water and swimming out along the beach where any trainer could mistake it for the many wild Tentacool and attack it.

"Hush little one. I will carry you there myself." Roma said with a consoling pet of its moist head. The Tentacool voiced its joy in being enabled and settle down so Roma could carry out her promise. Young as it was, it knew that she could be a real pushover when it came to the desires of her pokemon, as most others wouldn't bother to raise a common pokemon like Tentacool from an egg, let alone baby it as the Eel did.

They strolled down Slateport till pavement gave way to fine sand and Roma had to weave her way around planted umbrella's and boisterous youths playing among one another or their pokemon. She thought that Tentacool was perhaps looking for a similar playmate, maybe a young Igglypuff or a Marill, but the baby pokemon obstinately tugged its trainer towards the sounds of battle that had Roma standing at the end of a line for the Battle Boat tourney, not that she was aware of that.

"Really? This was what you wanted?" Roma deadpanned, only to receive a vigorous nod in response. "Hmm....okay, we had no other plans, so you may as well start training like Truffles and Weaboo."

A few minutes later, and the Eel would find herself at the front of the line with a ticket stamped 71 and standing before a plot of sand designated for her battle, wondering who would be going against her Tentacool first.

Never mind. Carry on with your day.

Fuck now I'm at an impasse.

Aim at Machina to try and roll the Fool to unfuck us...

or aim at Angels to try and fuck them...

Decisions.

I was gonna save my draw for the last challenge and use it on whatever Hohenheim's alignment was, so the probably-abomination-of-abominable-abominations would hopefully be fucked.

Banana, I was under the impression that whatever Bonesword was doing was something he created right there, but from your post, it looks he called Charlie to dig his way to Hohenheim's castle....which makes absolutely no sense since it is floating over a void with only the bridge to connect it. Care to elaborate?
Congratulations. You all survived the 1/3 chance that Shizuka shooting the Daimyo would make it detonate and vaporize everyone in the lobby. I still need to post tomorrow for the room to react, but at least you all don't get insta killed because you forgot that the Daimyu is always a bomb waiting to kill you whenever you lot disregard it.
Alright everyone, hold up on your posts until I can post tomorrow and confer with @The 42nd Gecko on something rather important.
