Hildr Reinhardt

"Huh? I never thought either of these prisoners had anyone willing to save them." Hildr said, assuming the bizarre creature with animal features was another wayward creature form the depths of Hell looking to make their bones by mounting the Elder Valkyrie. "Really bad timing for you. Normally you'd have a fair shot of bagging me, but my plate is real full right now and I'll figuratively and literally be damned if Ira is leaving here in one piece."

The Elder Valkyrie turned away from the succubus and dethroned queen, both of them chained to the floor in a horribly malicious bastardization of muscle therapy and the only scraps of garment to protect their modesty were the night clothes stuffed into their mouths and fitted over their heads as impromptu blindfolds. She'd been rather enjoying the sight of her prisoners trembling in agony, the soles of their feet pressed together while there knees were stuck in a raised position.

"It's called Tremor Release Exercise. You'll be joining them in it for trying to interrupt my interrogation, since I'd like to know who you're scouting for...eh, short skirts are cliché."

Bending down, Hildr picked up a paddle that had been resting upon the now overturned table, her eyes betraying her disapproval as all other manner of torture tool both lewd and lethal were now strewn about without a care for organization. Her eyes turned a clear silver and Artoria would find the air around her filled with similar bludgeons, each reared back with the tension of a batter's swing.

"Sit. Stay. Roll Over. Beg for mercy."

@TheWindel

I told you it would be this weekend.
@The 42nd Gecko

Shit, I think Artoria is too cute to kill. Curse you for targeting my weakness! Now Hildr is going to be busy with three rowdy demons to break in >:3
@TheWindel Is one of Bastions powers that the eyes don't drain her when she uses them? Cause it seems that, even as a dual eyes user, she doesn't seem to quite live up to the name of Queen's Treasure.

She's the Queen's Treasure for entirely different reasons then her fighting ability.
@Awesomoman64

It is less of an issue of GM implementation and more that each player needs to acknowledge these sorts of bonuses when they are present, and not disregard them because they forgot or ignored them out of hand.
@The 42nd Gecko I meant the hand wave, just that in the end, Hildr would off her instead of capture her. Then Death would just hold her captive for as long as you want.

Though I see Arthuria thinks like a Mandalorian. What a sense of humor, though if she really wanted to please Lucille, she'd bring them back in forms she could enjoy beating on.
@Lonewolf685 I was real excited for what I had planned for Artoria's pre-capture/kill/whatever dialogue. I might do it anyway, just have Artoria be an idiot.

If Hildr did beat her- and with Arthuria's powers she wouldn't play around- then she'd at least be nice enough to make certain her deceased soul gets a trip straight to Death's piano room. if she's lucky, Death may even be a clock eyed cat that will sate all her Hohenheim fantasies...and possibly lead to her joining the Cult of Death all Valkyrie are devoted to., but that's just an added bonus :3

Yes, though my consideration there is twofold. My initial intent had been for myself and whomever else wanted to come along to have some segments during the interlude that would help to flesh out the factions, which would not involve the GMs insofar as they would make sure we aren't getting off base with previously explained lore.

While I was thinking on that I did realize that this far the War hasn't seemed so much as a war as it was akin to the Scramble For Africa, with the majority of mission types being fighting over unclaimed land. So some fights either on pre-established front lines or attacking into enemy territory would help give it more of a proper feel for the sort of conflict that it is supposed to be

I like where your head is at, genuinely I do. That sounds just as I envisioned this first way back when, but doing that in this written format comes with some old obstacles. Namely, NPCs and Static Defenses. Now there have been great efforts to bolster the value of such emplacements and cannon fodder. When the battles occur on empty slates, like Arcadia and the Sea of Ruthria, those don't have to be factors which everyone needs to hold in equal consideration for them to have value.

And for that matter, we'd need some serious consideration as to the sturdiness of walls, barricades, trenches, etc as most of our characters could demolish them with ease unless we made some indestructible material requiring long, tedious manufacturing and deconstruction processes so no one outside a core of engineers can feasibly remove them in a heated conflict without equally powerful artillery, cannons, holy ballista, etc.

That said, I'm sure Windel and KoL will work something satisfying out. Hopefully interests won't shift like a pendulum and lead to demands for something far from the more central conflict.
@The 42nd Gecko you say that just as I get home and comfy with my laptop and lets. Oh well. If anyone needs me I'll be bouncing between volume 4 of Jojo and trying to watch Kemeno Friends. The CGI makes my eyes bleed but I like to imagine Artoria is being a pervy voyeur in the background.

Side note, if you guys want a more structured side pool of activities from the GMs, my time is limited and I'm not a GM anymore, but I'd be glad to help set things up.
@TheWindel Both Victoire and Ira can too. Kay, here we go, Artoria is pushed through portal, Hilda beats Artoria, I don't have to be in the next fight.

Aka, I'm using that door we talk about so much. At least for one fight. If Lone is down with posting something along the lines of "And then Hilda killed/captured/fucked Artoria", whatever takes her fancy, we have a nice IC reason for Artoria skipping the fight.

Oh sure I'm down. Today was a fairly easy day so I'll jump on my computer in an hour and a half. We can collaborate then
