For me it was dropping out of Comp Sci and going into English Lit with Teaching Licensure, then just dropping out entirely lmao.
I thought about teaching at one point, don't think it's my skill set.

My biggest challenge is wanting to be an author but also wanting to be able to pay rent.
That's the story of why I dropped out of English Lit and went into Engineering lol
I read an old quote some time ago, tolkien or some such lauded storyteller, and it was something akin to ‘a story should have song in it’ and it finally wormed its way through my head and to my fingers over the years. Basically I decided to challenge myself with things like music and poetry to expand my skillset.
That's a fun challenge, at this point my biggest challenge is finding the time to sit down and write haha.
I had to go and make a minstrel character, didn’t I? Now I have to think of songs frequently. Oh how I wound myself.

I did so much advertising for this RP. Worked out though, you lot are a great group.
Damn, I wish I had A) seen this roleplay earlier and B) retained some more knowledge of the world of Redwall than I have. I loved these books as a kid. Doubt I'd be able to join, but I'll be reading along.

True, but the situation seems to be that the conch shell is an old tradition for how to announce the games and Name Day. So unless that hasn't been set up in the past yet, there should be something similar going on. Hence, that would be something she might hear.
The actual events in the IC don't currently have the conch shell but the dibbuns are parading around chanting if that might be loud enough.
...So who's acting first? It would be a bit strange if Marigold went first. Seems like it ought to be Rigby or Zaris.
At this point in time I'm really racking my brain on how to immediately include Marigold with her outside the Abbey.
