The next morning Gil was woken by Sioban. The Prince groaned and sat up not wanting to be awake just yet. “Wake up sleepy Prince, we got things we need to do today.” The upbeat voice of the shaman rang out as Gil rolled his eyes and stood up to stretch the sleep from his limbs. This seemed to please the Shaman who left Gil to prepare for the day. He dressed himself in his most casual outfit. His clothes were nothing special. If one didn’t know better he could easily be mistaken for a common member of society. Only those who knew of the significance of his braids, beads, and threads would be able to pick out that he was royalty. He doubted many of the Astalians would notice though.

After getting dressed for the day he left his room and found both Sioban and Aldar waiting for him outside his room. “The King has ordered that we remain within the castle grounds without an Astalian guard’s company. Something has changed and he clearly wishes to keep it out of the ears of the public for now. I will accompany you for the day.” Aldar said bluntly as Gil walked past the two and headed toward the dining hall.

It seemed his entourage had other plans as Sioban pulled Gil toward the direction of one of the gardens. “Before you partake in a morning meal, Aldar thinks it is a good idea we take the time to grant you blessings for today. It will only take a moment.” Sioban explained as he led the Prince into the garden and toward the small creek that babbled through the back of it. There Gil kneeled beside the water and Sioban began speaking in orcish, requesting that the gods of nature as well as the ancestors look after Gil in his activities for the day.

The ceremony was brief but it was long enough that Gil arrived to the dining hall after the eldest Princess had already made her exit and the others seemed close to finishing as well. He gave them all a polite nod and a morning greeting in Orcish as he took a place at the table and took in the options he had to eat. Aldar took a post on the wall behind the Prince but it seemed the Shaman had wandered off to do whatever it was Sioban had found to entertain himself with which didn’t surprise the Prince one bit, the Shaman had always been one to do his own thing.

“Big day today yea? The Ball and all?” He questioned just to see if he could start some idol chatter while he casually piled his plate high with all the food that could fit. He wouldn’t be offended if nobody answered him after all they seemed to be in their own conversations already.

Would anyone object to me speeding things up a little now? Nothing else is going to happen at the tower and I don't want to keep Haruki waiting to join in for much longer.

I wouldn't care, just give me my loot and I will be happy :P
Hawk got in the way of the defender and Aura spoke through the bird "Go, shoo, go back to your master." Hawk remained in the defender's way for only a moment before flying toward the jar that it had been spotted Aura figure Hawk could at least be able to carry that out and also see what happened if one of the items was removed from it's spot.

Aura pulled from her familiar's senses when she was sure Hawk had a good grip on the jar, returning to her own. "Looks like some interesting things down there. No traps from what I could tell but Hawk is bringing one of the items up here just to see if something happens if something is moved. Arkizs you might wanna call back you defender it's gunna break something down there." She would then go on to explain the items she saw in the basement including the jar that Hawk had grabbed for her.
All good. I was gunna have Aura tell them what is down there and maybe have the Hawk carry one item out with it. XD

Cuz Aura is lowkey greedy. :P
@rush99999How big is the sealed jar, too big for Hawk to grab and fly out with or would it be able to pick than up and carry it to Aura?
Lol fair.

Oh as a note, with Aura's vessel, she can store things inside of it, various items and whatnot, if the party has been together for a while they would all know this. So it would be up to the group if they trust her enough to store important things like rainy day money or other stuff inside the vessel.
<Snipped quote by LostDestiny>

I hope you realise that Flicker has definitely made fun of Aura for this at least once xP

Also, somewhat related, Flicker has probably joked about cooking Hawk on at least one occasion.

No doubt it is a point many of the group has made fun on her for. To which she replies "Hawk" is a perfectly acceptable name. :P

She would not be happy about the eating comment though.
BTW because I am unimaginative the Hawk's name is Hawk. XD

Edit: Even if her familiar is not a Hawk, she still calls it Hawk.
Aura remained near the door and put her hand on the shoulder of her closest ally. Transferring her perception to that of her hawk's. "I'll look. Just cover me, shout or something if shit happens." She muttered though her voice came not from her mouth but from that of the hawk's. The bird then took off from Aura's shoulder and flew down the trap door after the Steel Defender. At least with the bird down there none of her party had to risk being trapped in the basement. Nanna May seemed to be honest with them but Aura still wasn't going to test it, not with her own body at least.

The hawk flew down into the basement in search of traps as well as to simply examine what was in the basement, if anything in particular peeked her interest of that of her party.

Perception from the Hawk= 10/21

Hawk has Keen sight, advantage on perception checks that rely on sight. If it's dark in the basement it's a straight roll for the lack of dark vision. So 10 if it's a straight roll 21 if there is light down there.
