Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Ntaj Zoov Yaaj

Location: Salarn’s Graveyard
Actions: Talking to Cyneburg

Ntaj looked over to Cyneburg when she approached. "Graveyards creepy. No signs, but never know for sure. Mages have many way to watch." Ntaj looked around for the birds that could be a familiar. Or perhaps bugs like centipedes instead. The witch who trained him had a scorpion as a familiar, and as far as Ntaj knew that was a bug too. That being said, Ntaj had to admit that so far his investigating wasn't leading him anywhere. They've found some pits in the ground and where the graveyard was at. At least he had enough time looking around to get a good idea where he could hide for a stakeout. Assuming of course they'd find anything during their time here, if Ntaj stays for long at all. For all he knew their next clue could come knocking at their door.

Sighing, Ntaj did put his flail away. Even if there was someone watching him, it wasn't as if there was anything he could do about it right now. It's not as if he can just go and kill every bird or vermin that was around here. With no discernible trail and no real evidence to follow they'll have to go with his original plan to stake out the place, assuming what they were looking for was even here at all. They've only found a few graves that might've been dug up, and surely that wasn't going to be enough to create a single undead horde. "We go back. Nothing here. Unless you need something?"
Working on a post right now actually. but feel free to move on without me if needed.
Annabeth Gulch

Sure enough, everything went to hell quickly. While Annabeth managed to get the girl, Jessie, to cooperate, the Nox started to shift again. "Dammit, why now!?" And to make matter's worse, the Nightmare was back. Everyone was making a dash to the room that Darrel directed, but the beast was heading straight for Drake. Everyone was moving except Colette, who had made the decision to fight the Nightmare herself. "Colette get back here!" Annabeth had to save her magic; she couldn't risk Blood Sickness trying to use her spells to distract the Nightmare. Instead she took her dagger and hurled it in the Nightmare's path, hoping that maybe the blade would sink into it's eye or something, or at least distract it long enough for Annabeth to grab Colette and get to the room.

"Stay with the group Colette, follow me!" The girl grabbed the vampire by her hand, not wanting her friend to throw her life away trying to hold this beast back. The room was just a few feet away; if she could get Colette in there, then Annabeth could save them all. "Let's go!"

DIPLOMACY MISSION

The first thing Ssarak would notice was the presence of a ward; but not simply a novice one, but one at least equal to his own. It was strong enough that if it weren't for the fact that Ssarak was actively looking for it, this ward could have possibly gone beneath his notice. Even now, tracking the ward was about as difficult as tracking the thief himself, who had the advantage of moving through the narrow alleyways; various obstacles such as canvas covers and tunnels covered the thief from above, and without Ssarak attempting to break through his ward he would have quickly lost the thief's position from above.

Leith's attempt to stop the thief failed, however it did succeed in causing the thief to crash into the wall with a sickening crunch. He quickly recovered and ran, however it was obvious that he had damaged his arm from the crash. For those pursing the man on foot, they may have noticed as he ran into a dark tunnel that he removed his mask; what was at first a dark blade hood soon revealed long fiery red hair. When he was outy of the tunnel, he was in front of a thick crowd of parade goers and onlookers. They didn't seem to notice him as he pushed through them and ran across the parade with agile swiftness, avoiding the horses and dancers and easily reaching the other side of the street.
Nah, I've just taken over.
"Heh. Ain't dat crab a smart one?" Malkai smirked as he went inside with the rest of the heroes. This place certainly was fancy, par of course for a palace obviously. Wolf walked beside Malkai, his eyes darting around with caution. He never liked being inside man-made places. Felt unnatural to him. As for Malkai the idea of looting the place did cross his mind, but since everyone was watching him and he's already been ratted out, he was on his best behavior. Eventually they reached the throne room where the queen sat on a big chair. A fancy looking tart. Malkai leaned against his axe seeing that there wasn't anywhere for him to sit. The queen questioned their motives, and Malkai, much like Elise's, was fairly simple and obvious. "Trouble's a brewin' whether I do nuthin or not. An' I ain't gunna down like a git. If da world ez in as much danger as da Orcale says it ez, by dis darkness or wot have ye, den Ima go an crump it. If yer lookin' fer a more heroic or phi-lo-so-phic-cal reason, yer gunna be disappointed."

@Darkmoon Angel
Tbh, it's only been dragging along because some of us are a bit slow. I'm guilty of this. As for our leveling, I still perfer a milestone progression. Even if we don't, we can't simply level up without at least a longrest; it's been less then twelve hours since we "started" our adventure. We've certainly fought a few battles and have done some character development, but I don't think it's enough to get to level 3. Level 2 maybe, but not level 3.

Really I think the only problem is the fact we're not very active OoC. I don't know what Norschtalen, Ryo, or Gordian's situation, but the reason I haven't really posted much is mostly because I don't feel comfortable just posting one paragraph at a time. I try my best to pull off at least two, maybe three at once, and when there isn't much going on but conversation, I don't really have anything to add aside "Orchid listens and doesn't have an opinion."
Oh right. I'll try for tomorrow.
Orchid will follow the plan.

Stealth is an 18 and as is tradition, his iniative is a piddling 5.
Sorry about that. Frankly whenever I try to sit down to write something my mind blanks or someone conveniently has something for me to do that takes me away from the computer long enough that I completely forget what I could be writing about.
<Snipped quote by Lucius Cypher>

That's precisely the kind of thing that prompts my reaction. A girl with a dick is like blue grass and green sky. It's just wrong XD
