The worst thing about mental illness is you have to look after yourself a disgusting amount. I know it's the only way to actually be in a fit state to look out for others, but it still feels wrong.

Judging by the Internet's definitions of introversion and extraversion, you'd think everyone's either an extreme hermit or a party animal with no in between.

I like a wide range of RP genres, but have two absolute favourites: Pokemon and magical girls. (If someone manages to combine the two, I'll be VERY happy!) I post fairly regularly, but sometimes shit mental health days crop up - if that causes any delays, I'll try to resume posting ASAP.
@Lugubrious@Zarkun Ok. Is it alright if I post with Cici having had her Pokemon healed? (It's early afternoon, right?)
Also, @Dusksong, feel free to move Ella along if you want. @Dark Light, do we go with Ella and Vivian texted or called each other about their plans? I'd imagine they'd contact each other, even if they won't be travelling together for a while.
Ella nodded. "Yeah. It seems like our only option." As much as she wanted to find the stolen Pokemon as quickly as possible, there was no way the group could do it at this level. They'd been lucky yesterday, but what if they had to face an even stronger Pokemon? Or several of them?
"How about Stillwater?" she suggested. "It's not too far from here." Although her mother and sisters looked down on the people of Stillwater, Ella had always thought the place sounded just as cosy and welcoming as it was fascinating. "And there are some Pokemon types you can't get in Feyhollow. Like Ghost types."
She was far from comfortable with the idea of catching Pokemon only to involve them in this mission straight away, but Leisy was right. They did have to get stronger. At least spending a while away from Feyhollow would give them a chance to bond with their Pokemon before continuing their task.
@Lugubrious@Zarkun Hmmm well... I still had plans for Cici. The fairies aren't giving up that easily. She's going to want to get out of Feyhollow, but that's not going to be as easy as it seems. I mean, she could convince Olivie everything's alright and you could go to Stillwater (my other chara's probably going to go there next, you'll have someone to talk to).
Do we timeskip to when everyone's been checked over, though?
@Noxx Yeah, when fer replies we'll all be able to decide what everyone wants to do. I was thinking Amber could go and train or catch Pokemon with Nyxx, is that ok?
At Aedre's comment, Sophia grinned. Her defenses were up again, secured by this newcomer's view of her. Now all she had to do was prove that view right.
"Well, I've had some pretty successful battles so far," she said, thinking back to her battle against Oscar, and the way her Pokemon had held their own against several grunts. The incident with Alexis that had led to this entire disaster, though... That didn't count as a victory. A slight shudder ran through her at the memory. Hoping the new girl hadn't noticed, she started to lead the group away from the hospital, head held high. "So I'm sure this'll be no problem."
She quickly checked her Pokegear for directions. She wasn't going to lead the group in circles again, especially as getting away from Hammer was a priority. "Yep, Normal type gym this way," she told Rheese, gesturing towards the centre of the town.
She kept glancing over her shoulder for any sign of the detective, all the while sensing for anyone approaching nearby. She hadn't yet fully recovered from yesterday's overexertion, and the distant energy pulses kept blurring together. Focusing intently, she nearly took the group in the wrong direction despite having checked the map. Tensing whenever she felt someone approach, she kept turning her head and staring at passers-by, earning more than one strange look.
"Oi, you got a problem there?" somebody yelled before continuing along his way.
Sophia ignored him. Aedre would have no idea what was going on... Time to explain the odd-seeming behaviour.
"You know, you did well to take this opportunity to watch me," she said with a smirk, turning to the new girl, as they neared the monastery. "Let's just say I'm the kind of trainer you're probably not used to seeing. And I'm not just talking about battle skill." She took a Pokeball from her ribbon-belt, making it float around her once and returning it to her hand. She'd have done something more impressive if she hadn't still been drained, but levitating a Pokeball wasn't too taxing.
As she reattached the Pokeball to the black ribbon and turned a corner, her smirk vanished. She'd known there was someone heading towards the gym before she'd looked, but... "Alexis?" she blurted. It shouldn't have been a surprise. She should have guessed this would be the first place someone like Alexis would go.
As the girl rolled over, no longer spewing purple bubbles, Cici gave a sigh of relief. "Whew... Good job, Dulcet," she said as the bird landed on her shoulder, fluffy wings drooping. With a shaking hand, she reached over and petted the Swablu.
The girl's story confirmed what Cici had assumed. A shiver ran through her. She'd been under some kind of fairy enchantment all night, but... why? What did the fairies want?
The sight of Olivie struggling to stand brought a pang of irrational guilt. Even if Cici hadn't quite been herself, not only had she let one of her Pokemon get hurt, she'd nearly allowed someone to die.
She turned towards Tommy. "Surely you know how to get out of here?" Before Tommy could take action, though, Dulcet did, taking off with an unsteady flap of her wings, rising high above the forest. She drifted back down with a chirp, flying ahead of the group, gesturing for them to follow her.
"Dulcet! Are you going to be ok doing this?" Cici asked, stumbling forward. "Ah...!" She bit her lip. Leaving the forest felt... wrong. Worse than wrong. It almost felt as if she were abandoning one of her Pokemon.
No, no, she told herself. She had to resist this. Doing nothing for her Pokemon really would be a form of abandonment. All of them, especially Cadence, needed medical attention. So did she and this other girl.
With a strained groan, she forced herself to follow Dulcet.
Ella glanced around for Vivian, but there was no sign of her. "Hm... While we're waiting, I was thinking of stocking up," she said. She wasn't going to repeat yesterday's mistake, and go out without any potions, or any kind of healing item. Who knew what they'd run into this time...
"Were you planning on getting anything?" she asked Leisy. She hadn't checked her Trainer Points in a while. Recent events had driven the thought from her mind. She wondered how many points she and Leisy had gained over the course of yesterday.
