Current To those I RP with, I haven't dropped off of the face of the earth, just had a mental health crash but am recovering. Now to catch up on posting.

The worst thing about mental illness is you have to look after yourself a disgusting amount. I know it's the only way to actually be in a fit state to look out for others, but it still feels wrong.

Emeth: Then I'll be that friend who's the opposite kind of annoying, whispering "Do it, you know you want to..."

Judging by the Internet's definitions of introversion and extraversion, you'd think everyone's either an extreme hermit or a party animal with no in between.

Bio

A frazzled British thirtysomething cat mum with something of a tea addiction.

I like a wide range of RP genres, but have two absolute favourites: Pokemon and magical girls. (If someone manages to combine the two, I'll be VERY happy!) I post fairly regularly, but sometimes shit mental health days crop up - if that causes any delays, I'll try to resume posting ASAP.

@Zarkun Ah, congratulations! And there's no rush, I'm just checking in on people.
@Dusksong Everything alright?
Hey again, Balth! This looks interesting, count me in.
Jessamyn "Jess" Bailey

That doubt emanating from Roxy didn't help Jess' confidence in the slightest. She brought herself to face the customer - a rather rough, intimidating-looking guy - as he climbed down from his bike and strode towards the counter. Despite her efforts to seem approachable, her greeting came out as a mumble. She cringed. Even with her lack of experience, she knew that wasn't what anyone would call stellar customer service.

There was no reason to be nervous, really. The emotions she could faintly detect from the guy were calm, trusting ones. She of all people should know not to make snap judgements. Interacting face-to-face with people after so long, though, was something she'd have to get used to.

And she could get used to it, despite what Roxy seemed to believe. She could... couldn't she?
@Noxx Well, our group's still exploring the ruins, and Alexis is out and about.

"N-No, it's ok," Jess insisted, knowing she sounded nothing like the kind of friendly, confident person customers would expect to answer the phone. "I'm happy to do this." After everything Roxy had done for her, she wanted to give something back - and it was about time she developed some useful skills. She had to ease her way back into the world instead of cowering away from it.

Even so, she went tense as the door opened. She had to resist the urge to step back. This would be her first interaction with a stranger since she'd first met Roxy in the cabin. Think of the person you should be by now, she told herself, and pretend to be her.

In theory, it was easy. In practice, not so much.
@Noxx Nope, it's just been slow. Heckno's planning on posting soon.
@Noxx Otomos may just be planning on having Alexis meet a certain one of her idols...
Yeah, four jobs sounds good, I should be able to have a post up fairly soon.
Do you have a customer NPC in mind, or do you want me to make one up?
