Bio

Current GM of World of Light. When it comes to writing, there's nothing I love more than imagination, engagement, and commitment. I'm always open to talk, suggestion, criticism, and collaboration. While I try to be as obliging, helpful, and courteous as possible, I have very little sympathy for ghosts, and anyone who'd like to string me along. Straightforwardness is all I ask for.

Looking for more personal details? I'm just some dude from the American south; software development is my job but games, writing, and trying to help others enjoy life are my passions. Been RPing for over a decade, starting waaaay back with humble beginnings on the Spore forum, so I know a thing or two, though I won't pretend to be an expert. If you're down for some fun, let's make something spectacular together.

Came here since Sho was talking about it on skypeeeee.

Definitely interested in making a Demon General. I have no knowledge of Darksiders and DMC (never was able to play the games or whatever) and my only Bayonetta experience is with the movie, though.

Been fond of a making an evil character (due to a lot of rps failing in which I made an evil character for, I never did got to play a proper one). Will make an attempt at one.

Splendid!
I must say, I'm not a terribly big fan of this awards system. Making content with new or exciting themes can be fun and distracting, as we do in contests, but simply having to read other people's posts so that they have a chance at getting extra stuff. I don't think it will encourage anyone to read anything that they wouldn't already. Plus, there are people who do and don't want to compete. If I enter a contest, then I'm setting myself up for evaluation, but in my regular posting I don't necessarily want to be graded.

ADDITION: Having the option for people to earn extras is fine; making it so that they have to participate or might be seen as not cooperative, all for the sake of 'bragging rights', could be problematic. Besides, who except the same sort of people who win the writing contests will win these awards as well, giving them even more stuff, and the people who felt bad about their writing before will have nowhere to escape from it.

I think the system of competition we had for the contests will be fine on its own.
@Caits I don't know if anyone has pointed this out yet since I avoid reading the OOC, but in your recent post from Sheldon you mentioned Frenzy Plant in the list twice, when Rider's Blade won the event and should take first place, I believe.

Cool, if I run into anyone I know who likes demons and stuff I'll point 'em here.

What's the starting cap on weapons? I wanted to do three but I'm not sure if that's cool.

You can have a bunch if you like, but try and make it character-appropriate. My player character happens to have a lot of weapons, but it is intricately connected with his personality and story, and he's not incredibly skilled with any of them in particular.

Yeah, she'd probably be getting some "live specimens" and "less than alive specimens," though demons and angels who can be reasoned with she would try and work with them.

Badass. I'll look forward to it!

If you know anyone else who might like to RP in a world like this, please do let 'em know.
@Lugubrious Aw shucks buster!

Still definitely interested though! The Head Researcher would still be in a combat-like role, right? The character concept I have might work even better for that, actually.

It's yours to make however you want. The only criteria is that he or she learns about angels and demons; whether that's by mad tinkering in the lab, going out and ripping some specimens straight from the bodies of angels or demons, or something else entirely, that's up to you.
Is this accepting people? Cuz this is the most badass thing I have ever seen!

EDIT: Also, if its not taken i would totally love to take the spot of Gilga Inc.'s #2.

We're definitely accepting, but unfortunately I've already made the #2. I don't know why it's still an open position. I was under the impression that those special roles were GM-only anyway.

You can definitely make a character in Gilgamesh though. I'd be pleased to work alongside you again.
@Double Capybara

Aw, what? No special properties for the thistle for Kyre? I see how it is...

Also, having immense trouble trying to make my post. I know what I want to do, but just can't type it out.

EDIT: I declare myself GodKing of page 197!

Having a tough time making Kyre feel bad for neither protecting Slough nor doing anything?

<Snipped quote by Lugubrious>

Oh crap. I didn't know people actually read the posts.

I read your material most attentively, particularly the ego of Notte, and the flower-theme of Meimu. Perhaps the two girls ought to meet a true scarlet flower, and a true exemplar of beauty: a perfect foil to them. Want to collab?
To Kyle, she had made the Thistle and its complicated design full of edges and spiky colors. This one she felt like it was perfect as it was originally designed.
