I've been in contact with Ayazi in PMs. He made sure I knew he would be in a position IRL where he would have a lot of trouble posting for about three months. This was told to me about two months ago. He has not in any way been dropped; Vega and Sarina are merely 'on hold' until he is able to rejoin us. I labeled Vega as an NPC and Sarina as not because Vega, being part of a still-active team, might need to be moved around or acted on or with in some way by her teammates in Ayazi's absence. I could have labeled it better, but at the moment I just didn't do so, instead sticking with the dichotomy of 'played by Ayazi' versus 'NPC'. Would 'temporarily unavailable' work? Or would you rather I reverted it to 'played by Ayazi'? I'm fine either way.

I kept @Kaithas even thought it is true that Kaithas' presence in the RP has been minimal as of late because someone alluded to Kaithas collaborating in a recent post. I am also afraid to reproach a member of team BASL for inactivity in a situation where there's ambiguity.

CSes are not required for visiting family members when we hopefully get to the end of the weekend sometime soon, but they can definitely help organize your thoughts.

CSes are, however, required for new players joining. While I disagree with the idea that you can never have too many players...@Asuras, go ahead and send me a CS while I ponder whether or not to let you in. We can talk about which team you might potentially be assigned to.

Any teams currently missing players that would like a new member, by the way?

@Sho Minazuki I find myself somewhat in alignment with Prince, somehow. If you're here, find a way to post. That's what you're called to do. Benjamin Franklin once said that humans are reasonable creatures because they have the capacity to think of a reason for whatever it is they wish to do. Find one in order to contribute to the RP, and to remain a part of it.

How many images of men with no necks do I need then, to convince a half-dozen more to convince you?

Joking aside I've always been into RWBY roleplays but every single one has fallen flat on its face within a few posting rounds, victim of the "First Day of School" roleplay openings that kill practically everything. I've eyed this one for quite awhile but held off from asking because I could tell it was really full, but at this point my eagerness to participate in a RWBY roleplay doing well got the better of me.

Well, we haven't been the most active, but we've got a lot of good people that have kept us chugging on. Even now, we have 25 players, and we had more at our height. It was the slow crawl that resulted from so many people needing to cooperate to get anything done that turned me off to new entry. I've had good experience with people who've been lurking and decided to join, though, so maybe it's your lucky day if you find a few to champion your entry.

Perhaps if you can convince a half-dozen people or so to talk me into it. That's typically worked in the past. If there is any kind of consideration of you joining, though, I'd want to make sure that you can make the RP a commitment and stick around for it rather than evaporating like morning dew.

On an unrelated note: @Sho Minazuki, you are called for. It's time to tell me once and for all whether you intend to keep up the pretense that you're participating or to drop it. If you reassure me that you are still with us, let me reassure you that I'll kick you anyway if you don't start posting again forthwith.

The only way new PCs are going to come about at this point is for people who express a desire to stop using their old characters. No new entrants at this time.

I only recently got to know Robbie Rotten. I've since become a big fan.
