It wasn't the most reassuring smile Jasmine had ever received, but if Penny was smiling then it all couldn't be too bad....right? She returned Penny's smile with her own nervous one.
"It's not anything important....I just. Ummm. Well I just don't...feel like I belong, I suppose. I mean..." The blonde looked away, glancing around at some of the wizards in the guild hall. She felt a pang of jealousy. She had always loved magic since she was a kid. Ever since that fateful day her parents had taken her to a local village festival. The tall man with the floating, explosive fireballs that fired off sparks of yellow, blue, green and every other colour of the rainbow. It was so beautiful, yet...her parents didn't approve of it. She had always wanted to use magic, but her parents didn't want her to have anything to do with it.
And now she stood here, in a wizard guild filled to the brim with magically talented people. And she too was a member, yet...she couldn't use magic. What kind of person joined a guild of wizards yet couldn't use magic?
"What can I even do here?" She asked, her voice coming out as a soft whisper.

Cody knew he wouldn't need to take a large amount of things with him. His sword at his hip. Armor he simply wore under his robe. Then he packed some spare clothes and other necessities into a duffel-bag and slung it over his shoulder and after a brief moment to check over his mental checklist, Cody was off towards the train station.
It didn't take him long, and when he got there he found that James was already awaiting him. Not that Cody didn't expect him to.
It would seem that the paladin had also purchased his and Cody's tickets, which while Cody was grateful he had wanted to pay his own way. But it wasn't a huge deal, and the ticket had been purchased so no need to complain. Once aboard the train and the two had been seated, Cody turned to the older man.
"So any idea what we should be expecting?"
