@CrazyShadowy - I obviously want to approve, but there are a few things... ^.^ Just minor really. Namely, can you put descriptions of her skills? I know are no brainers, but maybe add what she is capable of (if you want). Where did she get the ability to use water for healing? I assume it's a minor magic, but it came from somewhere, right?

As for her items and powers - you seem to have 3 minor ones and one major (weather control). Is that okay with you? Also you didn't fill out a very detailed history of her childhood or adulthood. Is that really the only notable events in her life? Why did the queen promote her to knight commander? Also in her weaknesses - what words, exactly? Like insulting Willow? =3

Last two things I can see is that you didn't fill out special moments and the aura color - unless she can sense them, I don't think anyone knows their own color. That part of the CS was more for flavor than anything practical. I might find a use for it later, but not really anything right now. =3 Otherwise she seems cool. Almost seems like she became a knight commander to specifically watch over the princess... which is possible, she just probably wouldn't have her own command of knights. Maybe she directs the royal guard instead of a group of knights?

Despite this, it’s been said that she’s actually a nice person once one can overlook her glaring tendencies to shove others away. She has complete range and control over these ethereal swords, using them either in close combat or as ranged weaponry. It was taught to her by her mother.

☪ Arms of Nagus (Tool/Minor): The massive coat that Kolburn always carries around. It is able to provide a light defense, strong enough to endure flames and weak-level magic attacks. It was received from her father.

☪ Coiled Fort (Tool/Minor): A whip that serves both as a tool of discipline and as a weapon. Coated in black and kept at her side, Kolburn can also use it for ranged combat as well. It was received from her mother.

☪ Eclipsed Princess (Weapon/Major): The sword that has proven tried and true for Kolburn many a situation. While it holds no special properties, the Knight Commander’s sheer skill with it have shown it to be a deadly weapon regardless.

Kolburn’s life has always been for the sole pursuit of getting stronger. Be it among her peers or among herself, the prospect of becoming powerful as always appealed to her. As a child, she made sure to do the best she could in all her studies. While this kind of behavior isolated her from most of her friends, some stuck true to her with their loyalty. That same loyalty remained in both herself and her comrades as they each progressed through life. After being given the rank of Knight, she slowly rose above to greater authority before finally becoming the rank of Knight Commander. Now with her newfound power, she yearns to put her skills towards the greater good of defending Azura’s Gate.

• Necessity (Artifact/Major): A great oak longbow infused with the power of the wind, granting its wielder the ability to knock an arrow, aim and fire at blinding speeds. The arrows themselves can be empowered to cause a gust of wind as they travel, but only Samuel knows precisely how to make them do that. Legend holds that the bow was made specifically for him, after he outwitted the last Woodwitch and learned her true name – a fanciful story to be sure, but he’s never confirmed nor denied it.
• Windborne (Power/Major): Samuel can call upon the winds to bear him aloft, thus granting him a limited power of flight (when he’s outside, at least). He gained this power when he interrupted a Woodwitch ritual to summon a Primordial Spirit of the Wind, instead having the entity become partially bound to him.
• The Everbag (Artifact/Minor): A small purse enchanted to have the carrying capacity of a massive backpack – Samuel uses it to carry all his camping equipment without being encumbered. A gift from the queen from when he was made Knight Commander.
• Farsight (Power/Minor): Samuel can ‘zoom in’ his vision, essentially functioning as a built-in spyglass. Also a side effect of interrupting the ritual.

History

Parents: Deceased.
Siblings: Older Brother, Younger Sister. Deceased.
Childhood: Born in a small cabin in the woods near Azure Gate, Samuel was the child of a woodsman and his wife. He had a happy childhood being taught the craft of his father, until one fateful day when he was fifteen years old that his home was consumed in a forest fire, taking his entire family with it.
Adulthood: From then on, Samuel lived on his own, at times more beast than man, sticking to the woods and honing the skills of his father. He might have lived that way forever, were it not for one day he explored deeper in the woods than ever before. In an ancient glen unknown to human eyes, he came upon six creatures known as Woodwitches, old and malicious and terrible. The Woodwitches were engaged in a ritual to summon a being of primordial wind, for they felt that the nearby city was an affront to them and sought to lay waste to it. Samuel blundered into the middle of the ritual and became imbued with a strange power, narrowly escaping from the witches with his life. Without knowing why, he flew immediately to the capital and demanded an audience with the queen, where he explained what he had seen – the next day he led a company of soldiers to the clearing and scattered the Woodwitches to the corners of the forest. In gratitude, the queen knighted him and placed him in charge of hunting them down – when this was completed several years later he was made Knight Commander, the long arm of the Queen, a position he has served faithfully in for years since.
Special Moments: The death of his family, the incident that gave him his powers.
Current Events: Samuel is a queensman through and through, and has been training his special order of knights to seek and eliminate any threats to her. He was recently called back from their large camp in the woods to investigate this new threat to the kingdom, having not been in the city for several months prior.

Personality: Adelina is an interesting sorts, especially for a knight commander. She is social but prefers smaller groups and time alone to recharge emotionally. Though she does take a moment or two to think things out, a lot of her knights come to her for advice or guidance.

The inner workings of Adelina are not well known - even to the other knight commanders and none have attempted to break that shell just yet. • Harmony (Artifact/Major): While many artifacts in existence are rather well known, Harmony is not one of them. It is unique in that it can only be called a Songblade. Whatever material it is made out of, when swung, produces tunes and hums in the air - even when drawn from a sheath. It is able to produce various magical effects such as alighting the sword with flames or ice, as well as it can be called to her side with a soft hum. Myths say that a piece of heaven was stolen and forged into a blade, but that's usually scoffed at. How Adelina acquire it though, is that it was during her training. She was told to go to the blacksmith and pick out a personal sword, one that she could call her own. Upon picking it out, the blacksmith realized that he hadn't forged it, but still let her have it. How it had gotten into the smithy is still a rumor among servants.
• Feathered Boots (Artifact/Major): A misunderstood and rare artifact are the feathered boots. They are of leather making and rather plain looking, but do two things - they provide a permanent feather fall effect and allow the user to jump eight foot into the air. Their origin dates back hundreds of years when Orlandi had learned how to enchant items. Though it's been passed down for generations, no one was able to enchant them in the same way as he did.
• Silver Armor (Artifact/Minor): This armor is as hard as enchanted steel despite it being silver, but where it truly shines is the ability to be called upon. The user of the armor is able to whistle a tune and it'll magically appear on it's owner. Hailing from the second age, it was commissioned by a knight commander of Azure's Gate but was never used by him, as he was assassinated before he had the chance to use it. Many consider it cursed or bad luck.
• Tongue of Sun & Moon (Power/Minor): Adelina has the ability to understand, speak, and write in any known language - past or present. Though she cannot pinpoint the exact occurrence of this ability, she does know it was after she picked up Harmony. It's not the blade itself that allows her to understand, since she can still use it even when Harmony is not around - or that's the theory.

History

Parents: Both Knights, both died in battle.
Siblings: Only child.
Childhood: Adelina's childhood was mostly spent alone, since her parents were often out on duty. Though she had a caregiver, they didn't do much to interact with her. So she spent most of her childhood alone and burying her nose into books. She didn't make much friends during this time in her life.
Adulthood: As she grew into young adulthood, she did find some companionship with a couple girls, though things never ended well - from being confused themselves or just right out rejecting her (not that being with the same sex was frowned upon, exactly). Instead of letting her guard again, she instead decided to dedicate her time to practicing the sword. Though she did so more as a duelist without armor than a traditional knight. It was a dark time though when her parents passed away in a battle against trolls of the southern lands, but she eventually came to terms with it. Attempting to honor her parents, she joined the ranks of knights and climbed at a surprising rate with her quick mind. Before long, she was noticed for her blade Harmony and promoted to first rank. When she gathered the feathered boots, she was further promoted - especially seeing as many of her peers looked up to her as a leader. It seemed like the obvious choice.
Special Moments: The moment she picked up Harmony and when she was promoted as a knight commander.
Current Events: Adelina was tasked with guarding the castle when she heard the summons of the queen. Nothing exciting, just enjoying her small talks with her knights as well as playing the harp in the royal garden.

• ღ Samuel Alderach: While she doesn't exactly get along with him on a personal level or agrees with his tactics, he is still a fellow knight commander and trusts in the queen's decision. So she considers him an ally and knows of his loyalty to the crown, which is fine by her.
• ღ Kolburn: Kolburn reminds her of Samuel, but knows a few knights who vouch for her kindness - beneath the cold shell of hers. To that end, while she is put off by the chilling demeanor, she trusts that there is good underneath it all. She still considers her an ally though as she is a comrade in arms.
• ღ Eliza Eizenhower: She has a higher opinion of Eliza than some of the other commanders, simply for the fact that she is so passionate and dedicated to the protection of the royal family. While Samuel has the same passion, Eliza seems far more friendly.
• ♥ Celosia Serafine: Anyone who's ever truly observed Adelina can tell she acts differently around the queen. In truth, she admires the woman and often daydreams about her, but so far - hasn't dared to say a single word to anyone.
• ☯ Arthur Vastria: Simply put, she doesn't know him yet.
• ☮ Willow Serafine: Suffice it to say, she is close friends with Willow. She adores the princess and finds her company soothing. Though she feels for her when other knights come to her (making Willow nervous), she enjoys the times they are alone and Adelina can play the harp for her 'Little Tree.'
• ☯ Locket McCain: While she has not meant Locket, she has heard whispers - some of her own knights have suggested keeping an eye on him, which she has.

• Order of the Harp: A decently sized group of knight-errants which often include spies, bards, and other practitioners of the fine arts. They serve the kingdom as messengers and informants, often disguising themselves or passing themselves off as anything but knights. Though they specialize in information, do not underestimate their fighting prowess.
