But I guess that's what I'm trying to get at. I thought you were a guy because your first character was a young edgy assassin chick,
Ahah, you were...right on the teenage part. Jfc, I don't even wanna revisit that rabbit hole right now but yeah. She may live rent free in my head but I currently prefer my roster atm.
Level: 3 Experience: 7/30 Currently In: Frozen Highlands, Dragonspine Word Count: 242 (+1 Exp) "Albedo" @Lugubrious, Prisoner @XoXKieroBombXoX
It couldn't be.
Frisk had her reservations about Albedo's feigned innocence, sure, but there were too many variables to confirm anything. Besides that, she wanted to trust him. Linkle did. Prisoner, though unintentionally drawing the alchemist's ire a few times, did too. Maybe they didn't know better either. She certainly didn't. She didn't think much of his actions, like blocking the entrance out or unwillingly letting himself get cornered like she did.
Because he was her friend.
...
Right?
Frisk could only react fast enough. Her soul sensed danger before she could. Holding her Spheal close to her as possible with the intent to take any hits that would finish it off, she quickly spun around to see-
"Prisoner!"
By some misfortune, she was right to suspect Albedo. Not matter how much she wanted to be wrong.
By some fortune, Prisoner was quick enough to intercept him before he could finish the assassination attempt. With her headless friend holding the rogue alchemist off, Frisk quickly grabbed her bow and arrows to try and attack from afar. She might be more comfortable with a firearm, but she has to try! But quicker than she could aim without risk of friendly fire, Albedo dissapeared.
Until they looked up.
"RUN!!" With no other way to go, the remaining trio had to sprint away from the collapsing icicles and jump down to the top floor, Frisk landing with a roll to protect the pokemon in her arms.
Without a flying type pokemon of her own, and the fact that her Frosmoth was undoubtedly too small for her to try and ride on, Bianca decided to catch a ride on a flying taxi instead. She didn't exactly have to wait long to get to Wyndon from Circhester, just had to fly up north. It was almost tempting to let Fionn out so he could fly next to her but she decided against it. Poor thing might not be able to keep up.
Yet on the way, as she glanced out the window to the cities below her, her mind couldn't help wandering back to when she lost last season. Bianca didn't fret over her loss, sure, but she couldn't help wondering. What could she have done better? She studied her memories, every action, every matchup, trying to figure out another way she could actually get farther this time. Bianca's plan wasn't to reach the champion. But she wanted to survive long enough to reach her oldest friend and battle her. Going further than that? Well, that's just a bonus.
...All those times Hestia lost to Ryker, again and again, Bianca stepped away to comfort her after each time. She was a strong trainer, even she knew that, and yet the younger man always swept the rug from under the Dragon Tamer's feet. Bianca faintly frowned at the memory, then furrowed her brows. No, reaching the end wouldn't just be a bonus. Her and her team have been training with great gusto to go the extra mile this time.
This time, her team will be ready to give everyone an ice-cold hell.
But for now they have to meet up at The Last Dahlia. Bianca didn't mind the venue choice, but didn't plan on getting any drinks. If anything Fiona would insist she get one of the sweeter drinks for the sake of her tastebuds anyways. Her taxi landed at the corner the bar resided, and without a word she stepped out, though not before paying the cabby what's due for the trip.
A moment after Iris took her seat at the booth, the front door opened again slightly. Bianca poked her head out from the opening before stepping inside all the way. She wore a flowing, sleeveless navy blue dress under a purple trenchcoat, with black leggings and flats. She had decided to go light on her makeup, and a silver necklace hung around her neck. At the sight of the currently gathered party, she lightly waved. "H-Hi guys." Bianca warmly smiled at them, walking over to take a seat next to Ryker.
"G-Guess I arrived early. Hope everyone's been o-okay?"
For a moment, it almost seemed too easy. Cleave and maim, rip and tear. Just a moment longer and the reversed ambush would be done with. Atleast, that's what Lupin was sure of. And then, an abrupt stop. The pageless were retreating. The wolf girl was almost tempted to go after them, until all eyes were turned to a new face. A new, regal and dangerous looking face.
Their target was drawn out. Now what?
Where her fellow magical girls reacted outloud to Roma, be it in curiosity or caution, Lupin remained quiet. Though the sight of the teachers standing in between the strange woman and them earned an unamused look. She could handle herself just fine, thank you. She didn't know who she was, what she's done, or why they were hunting her. But one thing's for sure. If the amount of Pageless behind her in waiting was something to go off of?
Lupin eyed Moonlight Tsubasa intently, emitting a low, animalistic growl. The others can go ahead and try the diplomatic approach all they want. But once their target decided against it, she'll be tearing the flesh off her skin with her teeth and keeping that mask as a trophy. For now, she remained near Stripes. Protecting her partner was a priority in her eyes.
Y'see, while I was lurking here I noticed that user was new.
I decided to do a little looking through their recent posts and junk, and it's all just from this. Not sure if it slipped their mind to make an introduce yourself post, happens to the best of us, but one can only assume.
I mean when you seem to have made your profile solely to uh, add to the discussion so passionately, you're kinda flying close to the sun.
I on the other hand don't have much to contribute to what's already said besides the fact that one of my current favorite characters to write is a guy and I'm a girl myself, so as long as you like, know what you're doing and have fun and stuff, then all's good bro.
And yes I'm one of the ones who thought @BrokenPromise was the opposite gender. But hey, it turned out he thought I was a guy so, *shrug*

"Just ignore her kid, you can do this!" The only one to respond between the Timekeeper and his puppet was Eddy, and even then he too choose to focus more on their plan. Luckily Finn's idea to lead Betty to the center of the roof managed to work, even if it meant the other agents couldn't help him. Here he could understand why though, even if it's still a dumbshit move to face her by himself like last time. But unlike last time, whatever he learned there could give him a leverage here. Like with Betty's defensive melody. He intended to make her waste it.
And then there were frogs.
Damnit, that thing's faster than expected! Gotta hurry this up! The boy's head snapped around to see the second spell was set in motion. Frogs both dead and alive started to spawn from the woodwork, and apparently bloodthirsty. Hopscotch don't fail me now. Finn had to maneuver around his newfound audience as they jumped at him, cause he was not looking forward to seeing what their corrosive bile could do to his outer shell. Unfortunate still that his adversary was still charging at him.
Now, he did have an idea of how to take advantage of this. But it'd take precision, and more importantly, perfect timing.
"Ally-oop!" Swift as he could, the Timekeeper flung a bolt at the floor below Betty. For a moment she'd probably assume he missed or hesitated, but he fully intended to have her caught inbetween the corrosive explosions of nearby frogs. If not to knock her down a peg, then at least to continue stalling her. He just had to keep at it, keep moving.
"Now come, prove to me that the fire in your heart can weather every storm in your course!"
MAIN PROFILE
Name: Bianca Schnee
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Birthplace: Circhester
Appearance Information: Standing at 5'3, Bianca's skin borderlines on sickly and fair, with faint rosey cheeks. She has icy blue eyes and her hair is a pale shade of Lavender, usually kept in a pixie cut. Whenever she can, she usually dresses in fur-lined coats and cooler colors. Leggings and boots, and small accents like snowflake shaped jewelry, even in her elaborate gym challenge uniform she always looks ready for winter.
...Well, not always.
She can't exactly avoid hotter climates forever. For this she dresses lighter, her main attire being a white dress shirt over a light blue skirt, and a wide brimmed hat with black ribbon. You'd have to convince her to wear warmer colors. Oddly enough, she avoids wearing high heels, preferring boots or flats.
Personality: Soft-spoken and often quiet, Bianca can be concidered the mother figure out of the other gym leaders. Warm-hearted and doting, she does understand her limits, but will always be around to lend an ear. She can be strict, and rather meticulous about the finer details. Don't be surprised if you find her organizing things around the area or cleaning after you. Despite what people may think, she doesn't mind company at all, honest!
Though as sweet as she can be, even she has her more colder moments. Chilling glares and malicious grins, The small woman can be quite intimidating when she wants to be. She doesn't get angry, not easily, but that might be for the best...
Short Biography: Born on a cold winter's night to a pair of researchers, Bianca was their only child. Her mother was a famous explorer who liked to travel the world, while her father remained in Galar as a Pokemon Professor. Though rather frail in her youth, one could always catch a glimpse of her tailing behind her father as he worked; more than willing to help out with what she could, or looking out for the other kids in Circhester. As she grew more interested in Pokemon Bianca eventually wanted a partner of her own.
Nothing really clickled until she locked eyes on a Darumaka. Ice types. That's the type that fascinated her the most. Bianca and "Bumble", as she named him at the time grew stronger together as time passed by and she decided to set off to do the Gym Challenge. To wish her good luck, her mother brought home with her their next team member. An Alolan Vulpix, who would soon be known as "Nyx". Sure, they had some stumbles along the way. Sometimes Bianca worried her Pokemon would get too badly hurt to continue one. But they preservered, and more importantly, their team grew and grew stronger. Things seemed to be looking up for them.
But they flew too close to the sun, and got burned. Literally. No matter how much they tried, maybe Bianca was bound to lose with such a fragile typing. She made it halfway through the Champion's Cup when she was defeated. And yet, she surprisingly took it well. Bianca gave her opponent a warm smile, then took her leave.
But that wouldn't be the end of her involvement there. A while after she returned to Circhester, she was approached to become an ice type gym leader. Major league or not, Bianca would've taken the job regardless. So now she pushes forward, in hopes to make both friends and family proud.
Likes: • Colder weather • Storms • Her friends • Pokemon in general • Cold foods, like slushies and ice cream • Horror movies
Dislikes: • Heat waves • Getting sick • Medicine • Alcohol • Spicy food • Messes • Of course she wouldn't like jackasses, ya dingus
Quirks: • Tends to speak with a stutter, as if she's perpetually shivering. • Actually, one could swear she always feels cold to the touch. However this is just speculation. • Total. Night. Owl. Don't be surprised if she wakes up with a resting bitch face in the morning, she's just that tired. • Has a soft spot for kids. Bianca hopes to inspire them into becoming trainers too some day. • Can, would, and will clean up after EVERYONE if she has nothing better to do. She's not afraid of dragging someone into it too.
LEAGUE PROFILE
Type Specialty: Ice
League Ranking: Major League
League Placement: 3rd
Gym Location: Circhester
Gym Description: Winter Haze -
Remaining in her home town, Bianca has converted the main floor gym into an ice rink and circular maze. All challengers are required to skate through the slice of winter wonderland to the center, where the leader awaits skating without a care in the world.
Though she didn't want to force anyone to take the Gym Challenge to visit the rink, so Bianca had a second rink built downstairs for the public to use. There's a snack bar and winter-themed shop on the side if you want to get yourself something before you leave.
POKEMON
Hecate (Sneasel): ♀️ • Impish Weiss' partner-in-crime, Hecate has been a tricky little bother for many others. But for the sake of her trainer's sanity, she limits herself to small pranks. For now...
Flurry (Snover): ♂️ • Hasty Flurry has a tendancy to think before he acts. Whether that'd be from impatience or impulse, he's trying his best to break out of this habit.
Momo (Piloswine): ♀️ • Careful No matter what she does, it always seems like Momo is holding herself back. Perhaps out of worry that she'll be too careless even in battle?
Nyx (Ninetails, Alolan Form): ♀️ • Brave Bianca's mother brought Nyx home from a expedition to Alola as a gift. A daredevil, bold, and a protective member of the team, she's not afraid of facing danger head on. Her flowing mane has some small braids weaved into it.
Mister (Mr. Rime): ♂️ • Jolly With a pep in his step and a tip of the hat, Mister is a jovial spirit who loves nothing more than to make people happy. It's rare to see him dejected. Is smaller than the usual Mr. Rime.
Aurora (Aurorus): ♀️ • Modest Not one for theatrics, nor for being flashy. Aurora's just happy to be here with her friends. She's honestly not as tall as people expect from an Aurorus, and her skin is a darker shade of blue.
Fionn (Frosmoth): ♂️ • Calm The epitome of the phrase "Calm, cool, and collected", Fionn swiftly takes to the skies unphased by all in his way. Also likes warm hugs. Go ahead, his fur is soft! His main body has a slight minty blue tint, and his wings are always covered by a thin layer of frost at the ends.
Weiss (Froslass): ♀️ • Sassy Equal parts smug and a tease, Weiss's elegance is only downplayed by a childish nature. She serves as a younger sister figure in the team. Her ribbon is a shade of scarlet.
Orpheus (Lapras, Gigantamax): ♂️ • Adamant The team's ace. Relentless and strict, but bears unwavering loyalty to the team. It's rare to see Orpheus break his stoic expression, but he expresses how he feels through his actions. Has a scar across his chest.
Bumble (Galarian Darmanitan): ♂️ • Relaxed Surprisingly enough, Bianca's partner pokemon isn't on the main team anymore. However, the strong and upbeat Bumble is content with holding off on fighting. Might need the energy to fill in for someone else. Quite large for a Darmanitan, and he tends to wear a singed scarf made with love (Zen Mode kept setting it on fire).
Rose (Gardevoir): ♀️ • Gentle The original partner of Bianca's mother. She decided to remain by Bianca's side to help tend to the other Pokemon on the sidelines. Empathic, caring, and nurturing, it's easy to see where she learned it all from. Her eyes have a pinkish hue to them.
RELATIONS
She basically gets along with everyone. Hestia Joy: "P-Perhaps one day, I'll even be able to beat you in a battle, 'Tia!"
Fiona MacConnell: "P-Please start taking better care of yourself."
