Current Is it just me, or are clothes running pretty small as of late? I used to be a medium and I haven't gained much weight...

god people are so miserable about kataang in the new atla movie, it's almost as if they've never witnessed a loving relationship in their lives

I've also been ill. I know how it's like, especially when you're younger. Remember that as long as you exist, there is still hope.

Trying to reignite my love for writing... would any one possibly be interested in a PMD RP? I'd find a way to make it different.

@Wick There are always a few "bad seeds" but mages don't usually travel in groups because that makes them easier to signal out. Not to mention, they don't just spontaneously decide to attack a random village and kill everyone there.

If you heard of Dragon Age, I've taken multiple aspects of it when it comes to mages. Mages aren't bad. Sure, there might be bad seeds, but they aren't really easy to come across since they don't go around and commit random acts of terrorism or violence because that means being killed.

If you don't agree with me on this aspect, then unfortunately this is when I can't do anything else for you. Your history is not realistic for this setting. If you don't want to change it, then it's fine, but that means you can't participate in this RP. Sorry.
@Polaris North You can, cause I can permalink it from the character tab.
@Polaris North Aight! Accepted.
@Bishop Tomes are created by mages themselves, though the process isn't really specified. They're pretty much a mystery. All that's known is that they're created by mages (since they are the ones that come up with new spells), are copied down by mages, and are passed down by mages.

@Polaris North I see nothing wrong with Aram, though I'd like to know why his father said there would be consequences if he didn't join Dramon's cause.

@Wick I would still rather prefer you leave out the "almost never missing" part because that'll make combat pretty dull, especially if it ever comes to PvP.

As for the mages attacking her village, it's still unrealistic. You can have it that it was a group of bandits that caused the most damage, and that there was a mage among them, but a whole cluster of mages doesn't make sense in this situation.
@Wick There's still the issue of being able to land everything she aims. Like I said before, that's impossible, because even deadshots miss.

I also just realized she started to practice after the war... the war was fifty years ago. Which means she should be 50+ years if she started after the war like you said. That also voids the mages killing the people in her village, since again, the Holy War was fifty years ago and there haven't been any wars since.

You say she studied combat from 10-14 years. That's a reasonable amount of time, but is there a reason she stopped? Soldiers study combat even though they may be experienced warriors. Practice makes perfect. :)
@LordVoldemort Dramon is the one who's gathering people to send south to search for signs of a rebellion. XD

@Nymeria Well, we're not sure if there is a rebellion in the first place... we're just going south to see if there is. If you really wanted to make a mage that works for the rebellion, that means you'd be a bad guy and would constantly be separated from the main group, and I rather avoid that early on in the RP. ^^
@Polaris North Yep, as long as he has a good reason, he can choose to retire.
@Polaris North I should have specified this somewhere in the OP, but mage-hunters drink a special serum that causes magic to be less effective on them (but mages can still kill them with enough dedication). Other than that they have weapons like any other regular soldier.
@Nymeria Other than killing/death, there's no known cure.
