Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

Aw. Oh well, Socratic questioning is a pretty difficult thing to accept in and of itself. In fact, I'm fairly certain Socrates was executed after annoying one too many people with his questions. You're the boss.

I really how...ticked that may have sounded. I'm just tired and don't feel like a debate. I think I've had like thirty minutes sleep since 7am yesterday and it's now 12pm today.

I'm just tired, I'm Sorry

Yes. Tolerance is probably a better word
@Caits I would be interested in learning about your perspective on the ideas of acceptance versus tolerance in regards to IC. You mentioned that one of your priorities, mostly as Jamie, was acceptance. I'm not sure you're using the right word, however, and if you are, I'm intrigued to learn more about how you'd apply the right word. Let's start this healthy discussion off with some definitions:

Acceptance: 1. the act of taking or receiving something offered.
2. favorable reception; approval; favor.
3. the act of assenting or believing:
4. the fact or state of being accepted or acceptable.

Tolerance: 1. a fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward those whose opinions, beliefs, practices, racial or ethnic origins, etc., differ from one's own

In essence, acceptance is to approve of, and tolerance is to reasonably allow. This applies not just to physical characteristics, but to mental ones as well. A person with a wart on his nose is easy to accept, but a person who values knowledge above sentimentality? Not so easy. Jamie did not accept Nero and his behavior, ideas, or principles, but she tolerated him insofar as she allowed him to exist unbothered. When it came to the very different practices and beliefs of General-Master Sanders of Frenzy Plant, however, she pursued him, told him how wrong he was, insulted him and all his comrades, and went away. This sort of behavior (which has been previously described as self-righteousness) shows up with Gabriel as well, and to a lesser extent Michael. Is that either acceptance or tolerance? If either of these are a core principal of a character, then it must be applied to all. Wouldn't you agree that choosing individual things to accept or tolerate (moreso the latter than the former) is a fairly standard practice, characteristic of most people?

Anyone else who bothers reading this is free to comment.

I'm
Not gonna get into a discussion about this when all I meant was acceptance of others, their beliefs and views and of the person themselves
<Snipped quote by Caits>

Karn's life sucks in that case XD

Why?

The one I have planned won't happen for a while I only have the bare bones for it lol

pokes @hatakekuro you can share any ideas you have with it with me
If you'd like
<Snipped quote by Caits>
Funny enough they both involve war. xD However they are only very bare boned so anything can be added to them to fit the rp.

The first one I mentioned awhile ago, but I'm not sure if anyone remembers. Basically the premise is that Fiore goes to war with another nation and due to Fiore losing to a much more powerful enemy, they need to call in guild mages to fight against this enemy.

The second one is a civil war in Fiore. I think it would be against the royal family and council, but it's whatever you would want to do with it.

Both of which will probably happen to be honest
I think I have an arc idea or two.

Cassandra continued through the process, soon figuring out how the cutouts appeared, and anticipating them, noticing where they were, and began to go through it easier, faster, smoother. She found herself enjoying it, and perhaps that was her downfall. She knew what would happen if she...got too out of control. She felt it coming, like an overwhelming flood of power.

"No, no, no, no no" her training sword fell out of her hand, clattering to the floor, but she couldn't do anything as she moved, scooping the sword up again, beginning to slash viciously at the cut outs, with more force then necessary, coming to a halt before Lorenzo. She didn't stop, beginning to attack him, instead.

She was shocked when he blocked the blow, and she spun back, growling, crouching, when a clear "Halt" Echoed over the room. it had enough force, enough authority in it to have her stopping, and she looked about, an almost ferocious look on her face, to see Oliva standing there, quite calmly, Simon behind her. "I think you'e had enough"
And my post was completely passed over :|

Sorry I edited in a response
Sasha
@Leslie Hall@burthstone
Sasha smiled and returned Isabella's hug, not fussed at all that she wasn't given enough time to answer. Instead, she waited for the exchanges to happen, looking to Master Jamie when she spoke. She studied the form Jamie had, and smiled. Jamie always wore her forms with confidence, but Sasha imagined there just had to be something about wearing your true form, that...made everything seem right. She looked back to Isabella, and Mayt.

"Mayt isn't the only S class wizard. Damian was first, and that's him glomping the Master, and he was only in the guild, what, a few days if that. Penny and Mayt were chosen together when we went to the magic council." Sasha said, nodding to Penny.

She gave a small laugh, "As for what's happened the last several months, I think we need more then five minutes to catch you up. Bandits?" She said to Mayt, realising that the S class wizard hadn't been at the games the last two days.

She felt eyes on her, and glanced about, just catching sight of karns, but something seemed off. Karn had never looked at her like that, like Sasha had done someting to him. Worried now that she had done something to upset the shape shifting wizard, she thought back on the previous day, but everything had seemed okay when she had carried karn back to the guild hotel.

She looked over, letting herself be distracted as Sayiri entered cheerful,"good morning Sayuri! How are you?"
Master Jamie
@Zarkun

Jamie chuckled at damian's response, the thud coming clear through the lacrima jamie held. As Damian seemed to hurry downstairs, Jamie returned the hug. "My family's been whole for a while now. Sam just makes it full" She said, looking over the guild members gathered, happily, "Round the teams up, lets have breakfast and get to the grounds early today. Get your head checked out. Don't need you with a concussion"

Jarvis
@Silver Fox

Jarvis frowned at Karn's words. Karn typically would have been happy, and want to be involved. This, this was almost...Jarvis shook his head, "Talking may be all you have, karn. Sometimes talking helps us figure things out" But Jarvis wasn't going to push, not right now. "Just know we are here. Like always" There were suspicions there, but Jarvis would think about them, for a time.

"don't push us away, Karn. The guild is here for you"

Michael

Michael went to speak, but Prince glomped him, forcing him to try and maintain a steady breath, but still seemed to hyperventilate a bit. But Michael seemed at ease, when Prince's words sunk in, relieved that he hadn't done anything in a drunken stupor. So he hugged Prince back, and took a moment to find words. "I don't want to drink ever again" his head still hurt and he let out a soft breath.

You know k was just sitting here reading and thinking about what to post, and this got me...

"Surely you noticed the motherly protective motherbear personality she has and the way she is so accepting of everyone and thing"

I like to think I put a little bit of myself into my characters, and...I so want to have kids, to be a good mother, and to teach my children to simply just be accepting...and to have someone actually write that about a character of mine...just makes Me feel good
