The prospect of going out to dinner with someone she was mad at just made it worse. She walked down the street briskly, figuring Angelo would have returned to the hotel. But like Angelo, Jamie didn't get far.
She was unsurprised to see Angelo fighting. She had expected it. Now she just needed to find who it was to kick their butts. As the bird like creature came down once more, Jamies body reacted even as her mind tried to figure out what was going on.
She leaped smoothly and easily in front of Angelo, planting her feet, she raised her arms as if to fight.
"stand down. They want you to fight so they can say you attacked them, so they can say you fought back. Stand down, and let me deal with this" Even as it descended on her, Jamie could see it wasn't a real creature, but made of glass. In fact it was almost like...
"Krystal, isn't it? Oh how wonderful, I can drag you back to your master to make my point, my arguments" while the sentence was gleeful, Jamie's tone was just tired, resigned.
