Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

Kalinda flinched as Kyle's emotions poured through her, potent and right there. It overwhelmed her slightly, her nerves frayed slightly by what she had done earlier. And Kyle's emotions were just...potent without the skin contact. Adding the skin contact...Kalinda very nearly lost her grasp on control, and she fought for it.

what was that? Does...no.

When he asked why she had followed him that morning, Kalinda felt her cheeks heat, and she bit her lip. Finally though, she sighed and said "there was just something about you that caught my attention" That was the simple truth of it, "And I couldn't help myself. You interested me. Still do"

As he spoke into the phone, Kalinda drifted again. Slowly her own emotions seemed to transfer to kyle via the skin contact. Fear. A soft happiness, tinged with sadness. Attraction. And exhaustion. She didn't seem to be aware of it, in the state she was in.

Bruce wayne let Kyle speak, but he was reading screens and checking over the security as they slowly got it back up.

"Thank you, Kyle. We're aware. You two have done well. Your power development classroom seems safe enough for now, however you might find it more beneifical to go to the nurses station. We have had trouble with this empathy before, but mostly it effects the user rather than others. Despite this, I'd advise you to be careful. Kainda has had control issues before when exhaused. For now, everything seems to be under control"

The woman removed her cloak, and dispelled the darkness slightly, making it seem like she was merely fighting it rather then control it, a small circle of light forming around them. She smiled sweetly, "A nurse, what a day to be running late, huh? I can help you get to safety" She said again, "And of course, I shall help both of you"

Connor gave Nathan a reassuring smile. "No problem. Anything affecting the mind can be tricky. I'm lucky I knew what was going on" He heled out a hand to help Nathan up, "You fought well. I suspest if Mimic wasn't merely trying to test everyone, you could have won. Take a seat, okay? Everything should be under control shortly" Or so he hoped. Keeping everyone calm would help them, he knew. "I'm Connor"

Mimic seemed to have disappeared, which made Connor frown as he looked about, returning his gaze back to Nathan. "are you alright, now?"

@Mega BirbRip. Feel free to swing by the DGO commons club room. Akane and Ken will be there once I'm done with the post.

@CaitsJust realized I can also have Shiro run into Cassandra, since he was probably gonna drop by the hospital with a few Korean Warheads for Asahi. I can edit in him running into her if you're fine with it.

when are we moving to the final day of the games? feels like we've been stuck on this break day for months D:

The next day is the final day.
"I'd love to be able to do what you can do" Kalinda said softly, her words slurring a bit as her exhaustion took over. "My flight's just an extension of my telekenetic abilities" She looped her arms wearily around Kyle's neck, having more faith in him then her own strength right then, and let herself lean into him. She smiled weakly as he landed, and realised he was definetely trying to impress her. The fact that he wanted to try and impress her baffled her.

She laid a gloved hand against his cheek for a moment, "Very cool" She said, dropping her hand. Her eyes closed on their own, and her breathing slowed, no matter how much she tried to struggle against the sleep that wanted to come.

"don't let me fall asleep"

Phoebe let out a relieved breath, glad to hear Kathrin's voice. At the mention of it being an illusion, Phoebe stopped at the desk she was out, and tried to break through the illusion. Phoebe had never really had the specific training that would allow her to be able to do this kind of thing, but she was exceptional when it came to focusing. You had to be in an orphange, when you had to block out other kids to simple do your homework.

It still took a few moments to break the illusion, and when she had, she looked about, closing the rest of the distance to Katherin. "So. Fun first day?"

Connor looked around, checking everyone over, seeing a someone struggling, almost it seemed having a panic attack. He moved smoothly over to them, "hey, take a deep breath, okay? In, one...two...three...out, one...two...three" He said, "it's just an illusion, it's not real. Concentrate, okay? You just have to break it. It isn't real" He kept his voice calm, trying to get the boy to listen to him, to hear what he was saying.

Teachers were trying to keep students under control, and above in wayne's office, there was a battle of sorrts going on as they fought to get their security back under their control, tempers were running high and they were making progress. But it wasn't enough.

the cloaked woman appeared in front of Emily and whoever was around her.

"You can come with me, I'll lead you out of here of the darkness"

Okay guys.

I'm seriously considering moving to the next day. I am willing to give two weeks. Wrap up everything, because we've been on this day long enough.

Niesha

location:Parking lot between 10 (medical garden) and Gilbert street---> dead teen, near medical garden

She waited until James got over, lifted the kid up, but there was no beat. No bump under her fingers. No breath went into the kid, this boy whose life was cut short by another human being and what for? What for, damn it? "He doesn't have a pulse" She said softly, dropping her hand away from the boys wrist as James lifted him. "It was a clean shot...Maybe...maybe if we had all the technology before...He's gone...I...I have my knife" Niesha could still remember the first time she had had to kill one of the dead. She still remembered the first time she had to kill one of her own, driving the knife up and into the brain, to kill them truly before they turned.

She didn't want this teens in her memory, but it had to be done...for the good of the community. "Go. You'll be more use on the front lines and this is something I can do" her voice broke, and she cleared her throat. She knew she had a choice. Find Sophie, or do what she could here. There was nothing she could do, nothing anyone could do, she knew that. It didn't make it any easier. How long, until the kid turned?

They were basically standing in the boys life blood. She hadn't seen what was obvious, just hoping, hoping there was a chance the boy could be saved. But there wasn't. "I'll get the kids inside. I'll do what has to be done" And she'd let herself feel it later. After she knew Sophie was safe. After she got Kristina back home. After dealing with the teen. She wanted to see it through, to the burial. After she offered what help she could be. She might not be educated further then her pharmacy degree, but she had skills. If there were three others shot-and from this boy, it was clear the shooter was skilled, then there could be three others potentially dead. She should do what she could to find them. And do what she could, if they were still alive.

But it was clear that whoever did this, wanted to have their own dead try and cause as much chaos as they could. Maybe there was a newly turned newmanite wandering down the street, or along the wall, right now, waiting to bite someone. that thought had her pulling out her knife. It was the only defence she had. Before James could put the boy back down, before the boy could turn, Niesha tilted the boys head, so she could get access to that sweet spot, that would enable her the best route to the brain, to kill it.

She felt sick doing it.

"I'm sorry" She whispered, as her knife went in. It was never any easier. It could never be easy. If it was...she would know she had no humanity left. Tears blurred her eyes, stinging, wanting to be released, but she didn't succumb to the tears. She couldn't, not here, not know. Not when she had a boys blood on her hands, not when she was giving him that final gift of mercy, so he would never have to be one of the walking dead.
