"I...well" Becca paused. why did she ask? She wanted to start conversation, but it was proving to be difficult... so she continued "I was just wondering how long this has all been going on for, and you've been here longest."

Hayley walked slowly through the dorm halls. Suitcase in hand, and a little backpack on her back. She was nervous; in all her years she had never shared a dorm room. Normally she was placed on her own - however the principal had insisted on her being 'with her own kind'.

But her kind didn't exist, because..

No, Hermes. Have to think Hermes. She mentally scolded herself, reaching the dorm room. Except there was people already there. Taking a calming breath, and trying to push the aura of dread surrounding her away, which wasn't really easy or possible, and strode forward towards her room. A small smile on her face to try and make her seem more friendly than she felt.

Becca stayed as she was for a few moments, building up the courage to talk to Roxy. She looked at Jakobe and smiled softfly - he had her back - before turning back and speaking softly.

"Hey...Roxy, right? How long have you been here?"

"Well apparently...if they release me I might just run away" the girl shrugged "I canny see a reason to run in a country I only came to a month ago. Not even legally able to live here yet - temporary visa. It's to stop me using my powers." Alice shrugged again "what's your story? You don't seem happy to be here either."

As her apparent new bunkmate came over, Alice turned fully to look at her (@shagranoz). Eyeing her up, before grinning.

"Oh wow, I love your hair! Ah, these?" Alice said, her accent clearly scottish as she held up her wrists, the cuffs not actually joined together or to her feet "well, as I told to this guy" she motions to the guy next to them "they think I'm going to run away in a country where I have no legal right to live yet if they take these off. So, I'm cutt off from my powers."

On inspection of the 'bracelet' cuffs, they had some sort of magical ritual written into them.

"I'm not in for anything except learning. Police never caught me. I just did a bit of stealin', never hurt anyone. So, what's your name roomie? "

Alice turned as she heard someone say her name (@shagranoz). She eyed the girl up.Great, another one not chained up.

"Aye, that's me" she said with a cautious tone "why? What do you want?"

Alice turned slowly to look at the one to spoke to her, arms still crossed and playing with the bracelets on her wrists - which almost looked like unlinked handcuffs. Some boy, taller than her and looking a little older than her. She sighed, and nodded. "Tell me about it" she replied, her accent slightly Scottish "they got you chained as well, or am I still the only one blessed with that?"
