I'll get to finishing my first post and re-read the Andy/Zeke posts before getting it sorted. Should be done in a few hours at most.
I believe MB has had busy times, but I do recall an earlier discussion where potential Multiverse Shennanigans were nyxed.

Superman's entire altered origin hinges on "multiversal" scenarios. Food for thought.

But like I said, I can go back to the drawing boards if needed.
At this point it seems we've made acceptable compromises going forward and all we need is to see if MB is cool with it by end of day.
I don't want to be the reason someone doesnt play a character but it doesn't feel reflective of what I've written so far in my sheet and post to suggest my Kara 'wouldnt' be a Metropolis character in a relatively short time span. I don't think its helping my sense of being a bit ambushed that this was obviously considered in collaboration but yet I didn't make the cut for that.

If people want a more traditional Supergirl/Powergirl split I can probably still have fun with that I'd just really rather stray away from the idea of confirming which one is the 'real' Kara or not if we do play that out.

My two cents is this:

I did not intend to ambush you or put your interpretation into question. I thought I was familiar with every sheet in the game and didn't see Kara's name in the GOTG roster spot. That's on me and nobody else. When I made my character in collaboration I tend to always ask my parent character's (through DMs or otherwise) for their consent of approval and I do have a working relationship with Andy in games that stretches back quite some time.

Whatever it takes for both of us to be able to have fun (if accepted) I will do.

Insofar on the group dynamic, my perspective of the two Kara's conceptually is everyone comes from different Krypton's potentially so the traditional alternate dimension Kara (Power Girl) and same timeline Kara (Supergirl) seem largely not in play. I believe also both our Kara's have different goals, as I never intended my Kara to even be looking for Kal-El in the first place. However us three want to develop on there would be fun and interesting. We are in a scenario that allows for more interpretation and variation then traditional games in the past would allow. If my concept is still a non-factor, I will find something else to do, but in terms of heavy collaboration characters I admit I don't have a lot of options.

Ooh, whoops didn't see Zeke there. So looks like I have to do some last minute conferences with them as well as Andy.

Having two Kara's around isn't exactly something I thought about. Worst case scenario I save it for a rainy day/whenever the next game is. Best case scenario we have Power Girl and Supergirl at the same time? Either way, failure to do a full read of every sheet is on me and if MB wants to tell me its no good, them's the breaks.
After discussions with @AndyC, well, you know which way the wind blows with me.

Superman/Fantastic Four double feature has really reinvigorated me, so maybe it'll help me get back in writing gear with a new concept. Hope everyone is doing well.

The way things had escalated in such a short time was something else.

These were the kind of situations you saw in fiction and it did shock Paul, even if he had remained relatively composed given current events. When the first reports went out he had thought how disease control would handle things, how the military would coordinate, and how to plan around it. He was impulsive, but measured, then again all of the thinking he could possibly do was thrown into a blender when he came to realize his daughter wasn’t anywhere safe. Paternal instincts came in from there, and then, he went to find his very bitter and quite upset ex-wife to try to coordinate their efforts.

Considering the papers he had left at her door over the weekend he was surprised she hadn’t turned into a raving lunatic. Fortunately, that had not happened so far; though, she was a very loud and manic person.

“If you think so.” He remarked, as he stopped his car, knowing Diane would want to investigate. His eyes scanned the road for any trouble, and then back to the tracker app. “If they won’t help, it won’t take us long at all to find her.”

It wouldn’t take him long to go a mile, barring the troubles he had driving.

Sorry about being a bit late, it was a hectic week but I'm finishing up my post right now.
