I hadn't planned on making a character participating because I have to arrange all the competitions and the like. But if we get close to 10, I can take on the extra work and make a few characters as well. I will bump my interest checks and see if we can get a few more people perhaps. Doesn't look too hopeful :( But we will try!

How do you mean? Never heard of anything like that but I am interested.
Like @T Risket mentioned, I found an avatar/charcter creator tool online. Almost like a dress up game of sorts but with tons and tons of options and it kind of has a Harvest Moon feel to it so I wanted everyone to use this tool so that our characters are all similar in look in the sense of style versus one person having Angelina Jolie, and the next Naruto. If that makes sense. (Very extreme examples but you get my drift) Here is my character after some photoshop editing. I'll also edit anyone elses character if they would like to as well :)

I do hope everyone gets a plot point or two. No fun if it is just one person and all that.
We plan for everyone to receive their own plot points. We're planning on events, antagonists, and the like. ^^
Even have a character creator tool so that all our characters are on the same playing field for appearance.

Yes! Fair warning, the new person will be one of the early plot points for the beginning of the roleplay- as in most Harvest Moon plots :) So if you're up for that task then by all means it would be great to have that spot taken care of!

If you guys would like to start thinking of your character- these are some of the roles available for you- as well as some others if you can think of it and it fits in with the world: I'm not going reserve anything quite yet; but if you want to come up with a couple ideas ^^ might be a good idea. Feel free to call it out to your fellow roleplayers as well so that you guys aren't all going for the same role.

It's one of those things that I weirdly enjoy too.
Have you ever played the games? Stardew Valley as mentioned before is a good new alternative too.
