@Crimmy

2 things I meant to ask your approval about:

1. Jin and Sakura know each other well.

2. Jin is the former captain of the Archery team. (I can elaborate on this if you want, but Jin started in their first year, quickly got promoted, and quit before the year was out.)
@chukklehed

Sakura looked up in surprise at her sudden companion. "Capt- I mean, Takahashi-san." She stood still for a good while, unable to decide what to do, before simply returning to her archery practice, albeit quite a bit less focused than before.

"What brings you to the archery range?" She asked, trying not to sound rude. Personal interaction had always been her greatest weakness, and she really didn't know how to handle anybody, let alone someone as unique as Jin.

Jin loaded another arrow and let it fire. It landed just where they'd wanted it to- equidistant to the first, so accurate you could have laid a ruler against it.

"Oh, just bored, I suppose. Aunt and Uncle will still be working, and I don't feel like being by myself for once." They didn't see Sakura's question as rude. It was a pretty normal question- and it cut straight to the point, which Jin preferred. "Keep your arm up, would you? Don't miss your mark on my account." Jin did notice their friend's tension, though. Maybe this was a bad time? "Do you want to hang out today? I'll buy the snacks." In truth, a good part of the reason that Jin was avoiding home was their family's inevitable questions about university and cram school. The constant pressure was getting irritating. For godsakes, Jin was trying to leave school- why were they so insistent on shoving another four years onto it? It would be like opening a prison door, letting someone step out for five minutes, and then shoving them back into an even larger prison.

Jin plucked up a half-dozen arrows, eyes narrowing as they nocked one and lined up a shot.
Zack laughed. "I think you miss understand me. I did not mean that I disliked the cold. I don't mind the cold at all. I did not want to in the adaptive rooms because there were not many students in them. Not because of the temperature. I prefer colder temperatures too. We have a lot of hair when we transform. I wanted to be around as many people as Griffin could tolerate." He explained as he headed to the adaptive rooms. They were set up alittle different then the other dorms. They weren't separated by sex like the normal dorms.

"A lot of hair? I can't imagine what that would be like." Kassy looked at her arms, which were visibly hairless. Many people of her species had very little hair at all- it was considered a sign of great privilege to have long hair. King Namor's retainers had been trying to convince Kassy to grow out hers, to display her new station, but she rather liked her short cut. It was more useful. "Aha, this is mine." All the dorms had similar doors, but each one was marked with a little nametag. Hers was a little seashell with her name neatly printed. Kassy opened the door, revealing a standard size dorm room, but with several modifications. The air was quite wet and cool, and Kassy could see tiny machines pumping mist into the room. Instead of a bed, there was a deep pool set into the floor. On a dreseser was a smaller separate tank, one filled with tiny fat fish. "...did... did they leave me a snack? How sweet!" She wanted to look around more, but knew that there would be class starting soon. She dropped off her spare things, took a deep breath of the heavenly wet air, and stepped back out. "Thank you for your assistance, Zach and Griffin."

"A way of ensuring the more normal people that the school is looking out for their best interests, and keeping them safe." Connor said musingly, "There probably is a list, which is probably dangerous if the school was ever hacked. Not that that has ever happened." Connor smiled, as Kijani seemed quite excited, leaning into to whisper. "Really? How?" He asked, curiously

"Okay, get this." Kijani grinned at him and said three words. "Giant. Paper. Airplane." It had started out almost as a joke. She'd spent some of her summer abroad simply entertaining herself. Besides books, she'd never really let herself relax before. Even most of what she read had some kind of intrinsic value, or was to improve her skill. It took her quite a while to just be able to watch television without feeling a deep sense of guilt. One of the shows she'd watched was about an adorable Japanese woman who loved books like breathing and could move paper. She'd seen the woman in the cartoon fly using a massive paper plane, and decided that, why not try it, it would be fun.

She hadn't expected it to actually work.

"It's not a pretty plane. It needs some fine tuning, so I could steer it properly or push it faster. Not to mention possibly take less paper, or even a rider that isn't me. I need your expert assistance, my love." Kijani paused, her whole face going frozen, then completely mortified. "I-- I mean- I didn't say-- I got overexcited, I didn't mean--" Did she really say that out loud?
hey. i got swaped. i'm gonna get a post going.
Sorry for vanishing. Tomorrow I should be able to post.
@Vicier No worries, I totally understand. I meant no insult and I apologize if I upset you. I really didn't mean to. Limits need to be set to keep the RP from going off the rails. Take care and sorry again.
@Vicier Those are the same gods with different names and attributes so it doesn't expand things much. My character is the child of Anansi. Ah well, thanks anyway.
Does anyone know of something similar to this, but with an expanded group of gods? I have great ideas but the Greek pantheon is limiting.
I think I'd like to be a crow.
@chukklehed Sakura has been bugged.

Jin being able to work a bow and arrow without trying can be addressed further in my next post if anyone wants. But basically, to Jin, it's all math. Now, if the target moved, that would be something.
