I have made a post. Achieng is on the Spire. Sorry it took me this long. I don't like it but I figured I'd better post something before you thought I wasn't.

With a sweet tune humming from her lips, Achieng looked over the dossiers for the tenth time that morning. She was going to be on the Monroe in a few hours, and even though she'd all but memorized the names and faces of the crew, she was still nervous. Barely an hour ago, a Council official had sent her a message. She'd thought it was to wish her luck, but the contents had put her on edge. Basically it said that no matter how kind or charming or well-spoken the "Marauders" were, that she couldn't forget that they were all criminals and would endanger her life if she treated them gently.

Achi didn't like to judge people based on others' perceptions. She had read the given dossiers, and thought that analysis more than a little unfair. Some of the Marauders crew were former military. Some were scholars. Some weren't criminals at all, and had come on the ship from different circumstances. Honestly, if they were all so reprehensible and murderous and scary, why bother sending her to observe the crew in the first place? It only made sense if the Council was uncertain. She would make her own judgement, after speaking with each of them and getting to know more than just a prison photo and a condensed rap sheet.

Tapping her gloved fingertips on the screen, Achieng huffed out a small sigh and closed up the documents. The contents weren't going to change. Maneuvering her water chair to one of the many observation areas that overlooked the galaxy swirling outside, she pulled up a relaxing mental game on her computer and started to play.

@Archmage MC You can mention that they just showed up, or even mention about the attack that happened earlier. (Briefly, there was some kind of schoolwide illusion of darkness. Morning classes were cancelled, then gym is happening after that. The students haven't been told who or what was behind it.)

Kijani grinned a bit and squeezed his hand. "I've got... something called Kingdom Hearts. It had Disney characters on it, I figured it wouldn't be too hard. Um, a series called Metal Gear, Tomb Raider and... Mass Effect? I took some recommendations." She hoped they were going to be good games. "As for the project... Don't laugh." She looked him in the eyes. "I'm building myself a giant paper airplane. I think if I get it the right size and density, I'll be able to use it to fly."

"Well, that's good, but-" Jin stopped short as Naka tumbled and fell on her face. She moved to help her sister up, but Naka popped back up as if nothing had gone wrong. Jin giggled and leaned forward. "You've got dirt on you." She rubbed Naka's cheek with her thumb. Well, that was one thing Jin had going. She wasn't too clumsy, unless it involved her powers. When the announcement played overhead, she rolled her eyes. "Let's grab a quick protein snack and then go, ok? I want to be on time for this one."

Kassy heard the next announcement, and sighed a little bit. "Oh well. I can swim later." She swam to the edge of the pool, transformed her legs back and put her sandals on. Then she grabbed her water gourd and the rest of her things, looking around for a bit. "Where... is the gym?" She decided to follow the flow of students, but still felt lost. How did humans manage in such large places? She'd been to towns smaller than this. Eventually she made her way to the gym, stepping inside and looking around. "This is not what I expected."

Ultimate regeneration is a little much for me. Not having any bio for an obviously inhuman creature kinda bugs me too. I'd love a little background.
