Jin was about to fire off a hot remark about windows, but it stalled on her lips as she looked curiously at the rabbit-boy... thing... in front of her. She'd never seen anything like him. At least she wouldn't be the only brat running around on the ship. "Miss? You're... way polite for a criminal. Don't call me miss, it's weird. I'm probably older than you anyway. Call me Ifriti, or whatever serial number they threw on me this time. Pick one with a prime number, I like those." She popped her gum, wincing at the flavor. She had to shake these people before the ship got out of port.

Almost as soon as she thought that, another figure joined them. Rusty-red, feline, and irritatingly perky. "So you're going to be my babysitter, huh? Cool. I'd love to get my hands on some tools and see what we'll be dealing with." If her escape attempt didn't pan out, at least she'd be working with someone who looked like she wouldn't be bothered by dealing with a kid.

@Akayaofthemoon Maybe you should talk to Jones? I mean, there are probably other people who could Co-Gm. That way you wouldn't feel pressed to be here. I'm sure he'd understand. Your husband should come first, especially if there's issues. This is just for fun.

"Sure thing, sure thing!" Kassy said in Reece's voice, trying not to laugh. It was a lovely sight, watching this big man cowed by a tiny animal. "Here, boss, let me help!" She moved forward, leaping toward the man's back in a dramatic show of trying to pull free the badger. "This little furry brat is tough." She made sure that the creature's claws were dug in before she pulled. Beating this man was not going to be easy, and something small in her was wishing she called for Pulse's help at the start. But no, she had to provide to him that she wasn't a weakling, that she wasn't his leash - that she was a warrior too.

"I got it, I got it-" She yanked free the badger, and removed the gun from Percy's holster. It was time to be done with this. "Are you okay, boss?"

Kassy nodded, immediately nervous about the idea of being thrown into battle. "I'll do my best." She wished they had more time, but maybe that was practical. A real fight could happen without warning, and you just had to learn. "See you in there, then." She looked at the helmet with unease, wondering just what it was going to do to her mind. Then she put it on and closed her eyes, trying to keep calm. Just so long as she didn't make a fool of herself, especially in front of such a nice stranger who'd volunteered to help.
