Aislin has a large scar on her temple, a parting gift from the home invasion. There are numerous scars on her wrist as well, due to her previous self harm addiction. When she first found out about her odd powers, she would cut to see if she could still bleed. Fortunately, she's moved on. Aislin wears a fair deal of make-up, but the style is natural. Additionally, she has her nose pierced, but tends not to wear it too much.

Aislin tends to wear simple dresses, partnered with elaborately patterned sweaters and black leggings. She wears the same pair of boots every day, to the extent that the laces are fraying and the leather has ripped in some places. She often wears a large, wide black hat, that tends to accentuate the colorfulness of the sweater. Her nails are almost always painted black. She has the style of a comfortable hipster.

Dying tends to give anyone an attitude adjustment. After being murdered in her home, Aislin never again felt entirely comfortable in her own skin. She feels like an outsider, pounding on the doors to be let in. Anything familiar feels distant and cold, as once things die, they are not supposed to return. Her bravery rewarded her with this eternal suffering, turning her empathy into apathy.

It's hard for her to not be morbid and depressed, but she still attempts to find enjoyment in her hobbies. She always did, and still loves, to draw and listen to music. While some things may change greatly, others stay the same. She is still intelligent and creative and stubborn, only she now sees the world through glass, rather than participating with it directly. She cannot move on. She cannot go back. She is stuck.

Mother - Averie Carter. A 50 year old woman, Dr. Averie Carter is a renowned trauma surgeon. She teaches at a prestigious British university, as well as continuing her medical practice. She is a deeply caring woman.
Father - Blake Carter. A 40 year old man, some speculated that Blake married Dr. Carter for her money. He works in the local zoo, tending to the many animals, and advocating for their fair treatment. He spoils his only daughter rotten.

Aislin had a fairly ordinary childhood, until she was killed at the age of seventeen. A home invader had come with a gun, wanting to kill her mother. Given that her parents were out of the house, the intruder settled for killing Aislin. In the resulting struggle, the intruder was incapacitated, and Aislin was shot in the temple. After a lengthy surgery at one of the best hospitals in England, Aislin was pronounced brain dead, and released into the custody of her parents.

Her parents brought her home, hooked up to life support. They lived in one of the most haunted homes in England, though none of them knew it at the time. Anyone who died inside its walls would be doomed to continue to walk the Earth, unable to leave except for on Halloween. And while Aislin's body was alive, her brain indeed was dead. She had died in the home. Her spirit had left her body, and when her living corpse was brought back home, Aislin merely...slipped back in.

Not alive yet not dead, not a spirit yet not human, Aislin doesn't even know that she is truly just a ghost possessing a corpse. Instead, she's enjoying the hero the national media called her, for the actions she took that fateful night. They even named the new dormitory after her at her mother's university. And as for not being able to leave the house? She's confined to bed rest most of the time, completing a strict physical therapy routine after her accident.

Jaina tumbled gracefully to the ground, snatching up the lollipop. She tapped him on the head with her blaster as acknowledgement of his bow, before placing it away. Unwrapping the lollipop, she stuck it in her house. Strawberry flavor--so simple, but so delicious!

She chuckled a bit, and shrugged. "Not my fault if they got in the way!" Jaina exclaimed. She didn't see the issue when it came to cartwheeling over people as she went. Walking places was always just so boring. Life was supposed to be vibrant and exciting! It was part of the reason she was so skilled at acrobatics--it was all she practically did when it came to traveling. It didn't matter what the mission was, she enjoyed to fly across surfaces like a member of the circus. In hindsight, it may have been a better place for her than aboard the Vindicator.

However, she hesitated slightly, recalling the exact words over the intercom. Dr. Bonwoo. Morgbra had assured her on several occasions that he wasn't a doctor. Comprehension dawned on her face, and she laughed a bit. "That's a great joke you're playing on them! Acting like you're a doctor!"

Jaina didn't intend to follow him to the infirmary, however. She despised that place. Everyone in there wanted to rob her of her happiness, something she'd allow no one to do. And if Morgbra wanted to play a silly prank on them, she wouldn't help him out with this one. She'd find something else to go off and do. Giving Morgbra a tight hug, Jaina waved as she turned around and left the Chapel, running into the halls of the Vindicator, heading in no direction in particular.

Maybe, if she was lucky, she'd run into the Commodore!

Sutton nodded, attempting her best not to roll her eyes. She'd never known the Senator to be particularly too helpful when it came to ship repairs, but of course, she couldn't help but be biased. Politicians irritated and vexed Sutton to no end. She understood the need for them, but at the same time, she didn't want to interact with them. They were the lesser evil--an evil she had no desire to acknowledge.

"We'll be fine," Sutton reassured the Senator. "Like I said, these repairs shouldn't take too long, and a path has already been plotted."

Her eyes flickered over to Stehrr, hoping that the big baby would start whining about one thing or another. Otherwise, the tense air of the room might have choked her. Smiling weakly at the two of them, Sutton twirled her knife in her hands, one of her habits that never seemed to go away. To those who hadn't spent much time with her, it was intimidating. To those who knew her, it was a constant bet as to when she'd finally lop off her thumb by accident.

She shifted awkwardly, listening to see if any further sounds of distress echoed in from the engine room. She wouldn't have been all too surprised if Luke decided to kick at the hyperdrive to get it to work, rather than simply get the parts they needed. But at any rate, if it was so far gone they'd need to get new pieces, she wouldn't mind a chance to get off ship and stretch her legs. Of course, as the Captain knew very well, Sutton going off ship to stretch her legs usually ended up lasting a good seven hours, and ended with her having some sort of adventure and brush with death.

Tuesday frowned a bit, seeing Cynthia's obvious panic and fear. She'd have to listen to her a little more carefully in the future, because it sounded like her craziness was just a cover up to give out information. It was a gigantic puzzle, one that involved the deaths of several of her classmates. Not that she cared too much about each of the dead--they hadn't cared very much about her, after all. Some of those bitches had it coming. Some of those bastards deserved to die the way they did.

"Hey, we're safe," Tuesday reassured Cynthia. "My bitches taught me to how make a shiv in prison. Ain't no one going to mess with us, okay, kid?"

Ash....Realizing that she must have meant Ashley, the actress, Tuesday took a mental note of it. Stories, but not an outcast. Ishmael was also the narrator of Moby-Dick...Someone who narrated through the flash of a camera, who took stories...Yearbook staff? Tuesday grimaced a bit, her lip twisted comically.

Maybe I'm still high.... she pondered, shaking her head a bit. None of it made any sense at all. There was no point reading into crazy. It'd only drive her crazy. "Sounds like it's at eleven," Tuesday chuckled a bit, a wry smile. "Should we head over there now?"

General Information: He's a bit of an odd fellow. He tends to be sent to assist accounting. With a degree in chemistry, it doesn't quite make sense why he's at a temp agency...That is, of course, until you ask him why. He's perfectly frank about his drug addiction, and how temp agencies are perfect for accommodating his specific lifestyle. One day, William will probably murder everyone in the office on a high.

General Information: A diva through and through, Tom is currently trying to start his own business. He does temp work on the side in order to supplement it. They usually send him to do Customer Support type jobs, but he ends up at sales anyways. Don't wear white after labor day if you want to stay on Tom's good side, and keep up with the latest trends, in order to be Tommy fresh.

Hey guys! An update has been posted for the RP, sorry it came a bit later than I expected. :) Because of its lateness, everyone gets a one day extension on their posting requirement. If your character is interacting with someone such as Chris, for example, you can sort of look at what I did with Gwen. Post in a manner that just continues on with the story, as if the other person had replied. They'll catch up eventually or be removed when they run out of time. :) For example, interacting with Aidan or Eduard right now is very easy for everyone to do, regardless to whether or not you're waiting on Chris or Alastair.

I'm adding a roster of NPC characters that can be controlled by anyone. These characters are coming in from the temp agency and are very basic. Don't try to use them to give yourself special rewards and abilities and whatnot, however. They're mostly to remain as fixtures in the background until new characters are brought in.

@QueenOfTheBee: If you look in the update, there's a specific update for your new girl. :) Hope that helps for making your next post!
