October & Bonnie

Interacting With: Everyone @Nallore
Location: the Zephyr (Cockpit)

Despite the lack of expressions on May's face, it was clear that she didn't like the idea. She didn't jump into support it. Instead, she stayed quiet, merely turning to look towards Coulson. Phil was feeling conflicted, to say the least. He trusted his agents and they did have a point - they needed all of the man power they could get. But this wasn't a decision for him to make.

"I'll have to take this to Director Fury," Phil said. "He won't like this."

"I disagree, sir. After the Battle of New York, we allowed the Avengers to go peacefully. Thor wasn't monitored. And when we needed him, he returned," Bonnie argued. "While the Gifted Index serves a purpose, I believe that Carolina and October would be more suited to an initiative similar to the Avengers -- a two man team used for reconnaissance. Their first mission can be to figure out what is happening at that school in regard to the 0-8-4."

Phil nodded, looking over Carolina and October. "Welcome to the Avengers Initiative, girls. Your codenames will be Spirit and Ember, provided Director Fury accepts you into the program. But as Agent Chase said, that shouldn't be a problem. You are undercover operatives - no public affiliation with the Avengers. You can tell no one you were involved in this program."

Bonnie looked over at October, as if asking if the girl could accept this deal. They wouldn't be on the Gifted Index, provided they worked for S.H.I.E.L.D. It wasn't an ideal situation in October's mind, but at the same time, she saw some perks to it. She could do something she loved - travel looking for odd things.

"Deal."

Dorothy Pender

Location: Prometheus - Cargo Bay ---> Dorothy's Quarters ---> Cargo Bay

Dorothy wasn't sure if she should be surprised or not that Daphne had decided to join them. Her sister had been working on her task for a while now she supposed and it was possible that she had finished, but Dorothy doubted it. Not every piece on the ship could've been cleaned by now, as most people still kept their personal guns on them. But at any rate, she had done her best and Anisa seemed to be fine with Daphne joining.

She didn't find Harper to be presumptuous at all. He was right. She and Anisa did probably need to talk. And if he was going to keep the three guys from being too much - or at least, keep them away from the pair of them - then perhaps it wouldn't be too bad. She didn't like bars or alcohol, but she could do one drink for her friend.

"I'll bring that anti-anxiety shot to go, then," Dorothy said. If Anisa needed her there, then she'd be there. She headed back into the ship and up to her personal quarters, quickly going through her belongings until she found one of the few dresses that she owned. It was a little old fashioned, but she felt more comfortable in those sort of dresses. It was a matter of personal preference. Hesitating for a moment, Dorothy put her hair up in a bun. She had to resist the urge to put her jacket on top of the entire ensemble. Her best friend wanted a night on town and a drink to one of their fallen friends. The least she could do for Jackson would be to leave the aviator coat behind.

Exactly five minutes after Anisa had ushered her off, Dorothy returned to the cargo bay. She hoped that there wouldn't be any rowdy comments, but there were a lot of unknowns in the crew -- namely, the pilot, Foy, and Jahosafat. But at any rate, she doubted Harper would suddenly act insane. He seemed to have been stable, for the most part.

Fitz Townsley

Location: Lady Luck's

Fitz was entirely unaware of the ploy going on around him. He hadn't noticed the looks from the pair that had attempted to steal from him earlier - he wouldn't have even recognized them. Royus had been the one to catch a would be thief in the Toy Store. Fitz, meanwhile, was practically oblivious the entire time to all manners of thievery going on around him, even the ones specifically targeting him. Hearing someone fall to the ground behind him, Fitz tried to dart out of the way, only for an incredibly attractive woman to pull her arm around him and then guide him away.

"W-w-w-w-what...?" Fitz asked quietly. What was she even talking about? No one had been trying to hurt him...Had they? The confusion was clear on his face, and he followed her over to the bar, only because that seemed to be the path of least resistance. But at the same time, he was regretting more and more stumbling into this place. He should've stayed and looked around the Toy Store some more.

Jack Hudson

Location: Building F (The Newnans' House)

"Yeah, yeah, mo' alone would be awesome," Jack said quickly, before bolting after his wife. As he heard the door slam initially, he was worried that Tatiana wouldn't even want to be around him. He wouldn't be able to comfort her then and the thought of that was killing him a little bit inside. As the retching started, he realized exactly what was going on and darted back for one of the radios, just in case he needed to send for Froggy. All of this stress couldn't be healthy for Tatiana or for the baby.

Jack knocked softly on the door, not sure if Tatiana needed complete privacy or if he'd be able to come in. The very least he could do was hold her hair while she vomited. "Solovey? You okay?" He bit his lip. This day was just too much for any person to deal with. Tatiana had dealt with so much - she could handle this, right? She was unbreakable. She was titanium. If there was anyone Jack believed in with all of his heart, it was her.

"Should I call ovah someone from medical?"

Beatrice Decker

Location: The Meeting (Three-way intersection near the Hershall Norred Water Plant)

Beatrice listened to the tragic tale that James told Thalia about her family. Her more cold and emotionless side was a bit impressed that he managed to keep it so brief, so quick, so short. But deep down, Beatrice knew how much pain Thalia was going through at the moment. Most people had either already found out what happened to their loved ones years back. Either that, or they'd never know what happened to them. She didn't know if her adoptive parents were still out there. She doubted she ever would.

Beatrice followed Ryan's line of sight, before spotting the walker. She hadn't met Astrid. The odd attire was the only fact that tipped Beatrice off that she likely was a former Newnan resident. There used to be a little clan of vikings up until the day she had arrived in Newnan, from what Beatrice understood. Of course, it didn't make sense that this one was dead and walking. Newnan always tried to take care of their dead, prevent them from coming back. The woman must've died in a way that made it hard to put her down. That was what Beatrice had to conclude.

"Which one was she?" Beatrice asked simply, doing a quick scan of the rest of the area. It was cold enough that the walkers were significantly slowed down, but she wouldn't be surprised if the Kiwi's racket was drawing a small hoard towards them. There already was one walker in their vicinity, after all. And not everyone had a tank to protect themselves with.

Cecily Ashworth

Location: La Hacienda - Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico

Cecily thanked Thalia quietly as she accepted the alcohol fruit mixture. She held it in her hand, watching for a split second the fruit just barely floating at the surface. She wasn't a heavy drinker, but perhaps she'd take a sip or two. Natasha hadn't protested to the idea of her having alcohol, even with the gunshot wound, so it couldn't be too bad. And with what Thalia was telling her, it would be socially awkward for her to not have something. It reminded her of those high school scenarios they had to talk about with guidance counselors - about how to say no with peer pressure.

As Natasha excused herself after Thalia explained she was going to go chat with a few people, Cecily felt like Natasha likely deserved some privacy of her own, as did Thalia. She quickly looked around the general area, hoping to find a nice spot to go and tuck herself away into. She was an excellent wallflower and couldn't help but feel extremely out of place here, anyways. As much as she loved to read about adventures and heroes, that type of life terrified her. This was the closest she had ever gotten to living like the fictional characters she adored - and she could feel her anxiety levels rising.

"I'll leave you to it, then," Cecily said to Thalia. She glanced around and at random, she picked a direction to head in. Well, it wasn't entirely random. She didn't want to go too near the corpse-altar-burial-thing. She wasn't even sure what to call it. She just knew that if she was going to trip and fall, she didn't want to be near that thing. Maybe once she had found herself a nice little corner to hide in, she could entertain herself with people watching.

Iris Kingston

Location: Justice Asylum

Iris nodded as Nurse Cratty left, about to thank her for all of her help but the door was already shut. Sighing a bit, Iris brushed some stray strands of hair out of her face and then looked at Jaina. The woman was currently craning her neck in an assortment of ways, as if she was trying to memorize each little detail of the room from every possible vantage point. She hadn't ever had to pull a file like that before, so she wasn't sure of the general approach. However, she figured calling the hospital where Dr. Sarbye worked would be worth a try.

"I'm going to leave now, d'accord?" Iris said, setting the thing of strawberries down. Jaina had earned them, but she wasn't going to put her fingers near Jaina's mouth. The woman didn't seem to understand cause and effect. Or if she did, she didn't understand that bad things could happen. Or even what bad things were. "I'll come back soon once the translator arrives."

"Waaaaiiiiiiit! I have something important to tell you!" Jaina shouted, just as Iris had put a hand on the door.

"Oui...?" Iris said, hesitation clear in her voice. She wasn't sure what Jaina's next move would be. Even in a straightjacket, the woman was still incredibly dangerous.

"Let's turn on the juice and see what shakes loose~!" Jaina sang. Iris raised an eyebrow, confusion clear on her face. "Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice~!"

Iris shook her head a bit. She recognized the name vaguely. It was just some movie, right? At any rate, it'd be worth it to jot down a note about the behavior. She left the room and quickly made her way to her office, before looking up where she could get the files on Jaina that she needed.

Nora Kingston

Location: the Museum

From the way Vera's voice was carrying, Nora couldn't help but imagine that she would be quite some time. It appeared to be an endless cycle that she and Mr. Drake were caught in. The previous evening, she had heard a bit of a shouting match between the two and the topic appeared to be similar on this occasion. Nora frowned ever so slightly. While she couldn't hear Mr. Drake's words, she had no doubt that he was in the wrong in this situation. Lady Munn was as sensible as Mr. Drake appeared to be sexual.

She considered mentioning to Neema and Lauren that they may as well begin a search on their own, only to see Lady Munn reappear. Lauren beat her to the chase in explaining the outcome of their short conversation. Truthfully, all they learned was that there were more tiles to be found and that they likely were somewhere inside the museum. The best case scenario was that Lady Munn had simply misplaced them. There were several ideas of horrible scenarios that came to mind, yet Nora couldn't adequately decide which one would be the absolute worst.

She nodded in agreement at Lauren's concern for Vera. She wasn't sure if there was much else to be said - Lauren had summed just about everything up.
