Andromeda Aldrich

Location: Ville au Camp - Main House - Room 101: Sitting Room
Skills: N/A

As James asked whether or not dragons were actually a thing, Andromeda had to imagine that it would be in the timeline Belladonna had spoken about - the one similar to her own yet still vastly different. James' question was quickly dismissed by Giouse and Andromeda found herself slightly irritated with the Emendator's demeanor. She knew that Siduri was concerned about this end of the world - but it seemed like Giouse was merely commenting on the weather or as to whether or not he would be participating in the county fair's pie bake. He then stood up and Andromeda raised an eyebrow slightly. From what she could tell, there was no magic opt out button that she could press. She had no idea how to even go about opting out if she wanted that - so she figured that the fact that she was still there meant she was opting in.

Siduri's words gave her pause. Arguably, they could be seen as the villains from just a different perspective. The Emendators preserved the timeline - they ensured that the course of history went a certain direction and removed obstacles in that path. Was there really any free will then? Or was it just an illusion? Was time fixed or did they have an option to choose their own future? The philosophical questions started to gnaw away at her and it made Andromeda wonder if the Destruere saw them similarly as monsters. She had no illusions that the Emendators were attempting to protect life. They were neutral. It was a troubling thought and she shifted slightly. They weren't the heroes in this story.

Beatrice Decker

Location: Quarantine (W: Conference Room)
Skills: N/A

Beatrice nodded, looking at Alexander as he asked her if she knew Froggy. "He was a member of the Newnan settlement," she said simply, not giving any indication as to what Froggy's occupation had been. He was just a face from the past and if he wanted to be someone new, so be it. She had given the same curtsey to the members of her group when she introduced them to Ash, giving names only, so she would do the same for Froggy. "His name is Victor," she then added to Alexander. As amusing as the Froggy nickname was, she figured that being introduced as Froggy wasn't going to be as helpful in this situation. People didn't get a chance to make a first impression for the first time all over again. Still, from the way the Newnan group had been behaving, Beatrice doubted that they would be able to integrate into Mexico Beach. They still thought of themselves as Newnan - and that was the problem.

"All the codenames... It's almost like a comic," Beatrice mused to her companion, before she went and took a seat. She wasn't going to keep this General person waiting and she could see Tatiana's husband trying his best to get her and Froggy off the ground and into a seat. She didn't need to see anything else to know that Tatiana was the alpha in that family dynamic. She wore the pants so to speak. As she sat on the couch and waited, Beatrice kept her eyes on the door, wondering as to what sort of person this General would turn out to be. If they were another relative of Thana, she also had to wonder if it would cause another fight to break out between Tatiana and Ash. It would be mildly amusing. However, the screaming that had resulted? She wasn't a fan of it - purely because of how Alexander had been tormented by it.

Jack Newnan

Location: Quarantine (W: Conference Room)
Skills: N/A

Jack's mind was reeling, still unable to process the sight in front of him. Even with the assurances from everyone around that Froggy was really there, he found himself unable to believe it. Maybe his hallucinations had gotten so powerful that he wasn't even aware of what people were really saying? Of course, he hadn't hallucinated since the day that Newnan fell, so maybe it was something to do with the safety of a settlement? He still was unaware that it had been something geological and not mental that caused that break. His heart ached slightly as he remembered the dear friend he had escaped Newnan with that day - Tiffany. People rarely talked about her and Ray anymore, but Ray had been his best friend, his best man.

He was stunned and shocked as Tatiana ran across the room and didn't instantly fall down. Froggy was solid and real and alive. It felt like an out of body experience as he walked across the room to Froggy and his wife, holding Jamie in his arms. It was like he was watching this happen to someone else, that this wasn't his life. He was vaguely aware of Ash telling Riley to go off, even though Riley had gone to sit down with Amelia already, and Jack took a slight breath. They needed to get into seats before the General or whoever it was got there. He had his son in one hand and from what he could tell, Froggy wasn't in the best shape.

"Solovey? D-Froggy? We gotta get off of the flooh," Jack told them gently. Slightly fearing that he might end up getting punched by Tatiana for ending this moment, he then proceeded to assist them in any way he could to get them over to the couch, all while keeping a hold on Jamie.

The Luxury - Washington D.C. Waterfront:

Not too far from the Thomas Jefferson memorial, Sebastian Shaw's private yacht was docked at the Wharf Marina. It was dubbed the Luxury and it truly befit the name. Practically every amenity and convenience that Shaw and his guests could possibly desire was on board the yacht. The main himself was wearing a neat white suit and sipping a martini on the sun deck, wearing sunglasses in order to combat the glare.

He had summoned Jinx and Requiem to join him on his yacht for a key reason - they were the only two he felt reasonably certain that could be trusted. Someone in the Hellfire Club was a traitor and he couldn't allow his position as the Black King to be threatened. "Gentlemen, please take a seat and help yourself," Shaw said, gesturing to the fully catered meal featuring a lobster course, fine wine, and Cuban cigars. "We have much to discuss regarding your futures."

"If I am correct, there are about to be vacancies in the Inner Circle," he said with a dazzling smile.

The Mutant Underground - Washington D.C. Station:

Negasonic was handling the children and Colossus paused for a moment, looking at Glimpse. Even if she had information from Xavier, that didn't mean that she got to give orders. He understood that she just wanted to help but the Mutant Underground had a hierarchy for a reason. And once more, he admired Glimpse's spirit and energy that she would go after Veil herself... But Glimpse was an unknown element. Even then, no one in the Mutant Underground would have allowed her to go after Veil alone. "No," Colossus told Glimpse. "We are team. No one goes alone - and, eh, miss? We do not know your name - we do not know who you are."

Havok overheard the conversation, specifically the last bit about the newcomer being the niece of Sebastian Shaw. He frowned slightly, a bit curious as to why a billionaire's kid was slumming it with the Mutant Underground. Billionaires with powers tended to gravitate towards the large established teams that made headlines - not the ones that no one ever noticed, just helping people to get by with their lives. There was no Magneto here for them to fight - no Loki to attempt to trick. They were just normal people. "So what brings an uptown girl downtown?" Havok asked.

Veil

Location: Flynn's Car
Skills: N/A
Veil was very content, sitting in the back of Flynn's car as she more or less spied on her friend and her future husband. She wondered what sort of powers their kids would have, given that Sapphire dealt with ice and Freddie dealt with flames. Maybe the kid would have water manipulation? She shrugged slightly, before finding a bag of peanut M&M's that was unopened. Opening it, Veil started to eat the delicious candy and she was practically in heaven. They didn't get supplies beyond the necessities very often - and sometimes they didn't even have as much coffee as they really needed.

She really did hope that this worked out for Sapphire. She hadn't seen the ice queen melt like this for anyone before. And even though Flynn worked with SHIELD, they could work out some sort of long distance relationship. Veil was more or less certain that his base was in the Washington D.C. area too, meaning that he and Sapphire could go for coffee dates and other cute things - as long as no one recognized that they were mutants. But as much as Veil just wanted to think about her friend's love life, there was something more important to do.

Taking the bag with her possessions she had received back, Veil pulled out her burner phone and turned it on, dialing Spark Plug's number. "Spark Plug?" she asked, before continuing to talk. "Sapphire's SHIELD friend bailed us out. We'll be home shortly. Is there anything pressing I should know?" she then asked, all assuming that Spark Plug answered the phone of course. Her stomach grumbled slightly. She had every intention of asking Flynn to get them Dairy Queen on the way back. She was craving everything.

Casper nodded, feeling relief wash over him as Jack reassured him that he was perfectly fine and there was nothing to worry about. He should have known better than to believe his little brother in this moment, but given everything that had happened that day and he still hadn't gotten waffles yet, it was more or less to be expected. In even better news, he even was going to get to crash on his brother's couch! He really did like Jack's couch. He slept on it enough that it had slight indents in all the right places for Casper's maximum comfort.

"I'm not convinced he's okay..." Ben commented.

"You're being paranoid, Ben," Casper told his ghost friend. "If Jackie says he's fine, then he's fine! He's even going after a stray!" he exclaimed, referring to the kid that Jack had mentioned. His brother had a knack for picking up strays - people without any sort of place to go. Casper was a prime example of that. However, in the blink of an eye his brother was gone and then came back, looking a little older and going on about Trump.

"...Huh, so time travel is real then," Casper said. "Please tell me you killed my father as a baby. I'd love to do that one day if you didn't."

"Shit, I am so sorry..." Blink told Stretch, her cheeks positively crimson. "I must've slipped a little bit and sent you back... well, not where you needed to go. Anyways, the portal is fine now and the kid is near the exit that leads you to the zoo," she explained. Erg jumped through the portal without hesitation, partially to demonstrate to the others that they were indeed safe to use.

Casper blinked a little bit, looking at the cute boy who offered to heal his eye. "Oh, go for it," he told him with a grin, hoping that the boy hadn't already fallen heads over heels for his brother. Jack had an annoying habit of seducing all of the men that Casper found attractive. It was so inconsiderate. His eyes then widened a bit as it turned out his brother had a girlfriend!

"You didn't tell me you got a girlfriend, Jackie!" Casper said, grinning madly at his brother. "She's a bit young for you, but I'm proud you're going for it anyways. Love finds a way, right? Can I go to your wedding?"

"Hey, weirdos, hurry up!" Blink snapped. She was getting tired from holding the portal open.

Guin Stark

"...Yup, you've gone full Harry Potter with the invisibility cloak," Guin told Lance. She reached out slightly to where she remembered Lance had been and she poked him. The entire sensation was incredibly trippy and it reminded her of a drug she had done once - it had given a similar effect, allowing her to think that she was touching something she couldn't see. Only this wasn't a drug - this was just the manifestation of one of Lance's mutant powers. She was still surprised that he wanted to openly defy the adults in this situation. She had always known that Lance didn't like the Avengers - she thought they were incredibly cool and wanted to be one when she grew up - but still... He never broke the rules.

"What's your plan then, sneak up behind Sterns and put a kick me sign on his back?" Guin asked him, a bit skeptical. She had one idea of something they could do but she was debating whether or not to tell it to Lance. She didn't care about breaking the rules herself, but Lance was sweet and quiet and innocent in her opinion. She wanted to more or less keep him out of harm's way. Besides, he had already broken his rule quota for the day when he helped her "borrow" one of her father's planes.

@BlueSky44@Kirah@Nallore@FantasyChic
The Playground - Washington D.C.: October 24th, 2020 - 4:45 P.M.

Bonnie nodded a bit at Harry, not certain as to whether or not she should be nervous about the fact. On some levels, it was probably a good thing that the killer cat with tentacles seemed to have taken a shine to her - but on others, there was a horrifying amount of ways that it could go wrong. What if the cat started getting jealous when she gave other people attention? Or got mad if she didn't pet him often enough and decided to start flinging her around? "I'm just hoping Fury doesn't get jealous," Bonnie joked with Harry.

Novikova bit her lip slightly as Maria came into the room. She knew that this was her fault and Maria shouldn't take the blame for this. She had only told her girlfriend about it all today - she wasn't the one making the conscious and long term decision to betray the rest of the team. If there was any portion of her actions that Novikova regretted, it was what this might do to Maria. They had only been dating for a little over a month and a half now. She wouldn't have been surprised if Maria decided to end things with her over this. It probably would be good for optics if she did that anyways.

Barton's eyebrows shot up a bit as he saw the postcard that Niah had. Last he heard, Pym Technologies had its headquarters out in San Fransisco. He wasn't a science type - he wasn't Tony Stark or Bruce Banner - but his gut was telling him that whatever information Niah had, it was somehow connected to Novikova's quest to save Agent Sparks. "I understand, it's been a hell of a day for you," Barton told Abercrombie. "I'd like to hear what you've found after Abercrombie briefs everyone," he then told Bautista.

Bonnie hadn't heard of Ultron before, despite her seven years of working with SHIELD. She shifted uncomfortably in her seat at the prospect of banned technology. She loved working for SHIELD and she didn't want to do anything to jeopardize that. Biting her lip slightly, she couldn't help but think about everything this organization had done for her. SHIELD had been the ones to get her the help she needed after her husband's death. SHIELD had given her the tools to help to save the world and if Ultron was banned, then it had to have been for a reason.

She didn't know Agents Sparks and Blake. Her eyes darted towards Cass and she remembered a moment over four years ago, when they discovered her sister had abilities - and when Bonnie had lied to keep Carolina from being put on the Gifted Index. It was an old SHIELD registry of everyone with powers, destroyed in early 2019 by the Brotherhood of Mutants. "I don't know how I would be of use but... I'm in," Bonnie told Tinley. She winced slightly as Flynn snapped back at Tinley and Barton looked at his Field Commander, his expression a silent question as to whether or not Tinley wanted him to step in.

Novikova had shifted her weight slightly. While she didn't regret her actions, hearing the slight ridicule of herself and Maria wasn't easy by any means. She wanted to go over and take her girlfriend's gloved hand, but she knew that it wouldn't be a good idea. Instead, she took a breath and looked around the room. Once anyone who had decided to leave had gone, she began to explain the plan. "Project Ultron was billed as a means to prevent warfare with other nations in order to get the funding, but it was envisioned by Howard Stark and Hank Pym back in the late 70's as a means to probing the Quantum Realm. This is where you have become so small that the rules of classical mechanics and physics no longer apply... A place where things are not the way they are until you act upon them - where something can be dead and alive, and reality only becomes fixed once it is observed," she said.

She was pretty certain no one had understood a single thing she said so far. "Ultron was missing a key component - the ability to perceive the dimensional energy, allowing it to operate in the Quantum Realm. A device can be used to link my powers to Ultron, allowing the machine to operate properly. Pym and I also... acquired... an AI device from Stark Industries that should work for our purposes as a basis for Ultron's AI system. All we need to do is get to San Fransisco before the probability fields change, hook me up into the system, and Pym can send down Ultron to retrieve anyone currently trapped in the Quantum Realm."

Barton stared at her for a moment. "I speak nerd," he prefaced. "So you stole some tech from Stark Industries, and now is the moment when the stars have aligned for this quantum heist of sorts? And all you need to do is hook your brain up to help a robot?" he summarized.

"...More or less..." Novikova explained.

Barton nodded, before turning his attention to Niah. "Mind sharing how your postcard fits into all of this Back to the Future nonsense now? Goose seems interested in it and so am I."

Cecily Ashworth

Location: Grimm, Indiana (Police Station)
Skills: Deduction

"Well as long as the hotel wasn't built by H.H. Holmes..." Cecily grimaced. She wished that something like that wouldn't be a real possibility right now - but everything deadly and horrible was coming true, meaning an H.H. Holmes sponsored hotel wouldn't have shocked her too much right now. If anything, the idea of Riley just being holed up in a cute little hotel with someone like Mr. Moseby running the place seemed more impossible. She loved comic books - and now her life was just like one and it frightened her. She even had the codename of a prominent Marvel superhero. But unlike a comic book, there would be no resurrections. Death was death - it wasn't a plot device, it was final and permanent and terrifying.

Cecily bit her lip, taking the article from Roy. She hadn't really been able to make out any signs as to where the killer had gone or even a corpse, but the receptionist was still missing - and she imagined wouldn't be seen alive again. "Either they got the wrong guy the first time, he wasn't working alone, or this is a copycat then... Or he faked his death, but I think that last possibility is the most unlikely one at the moment," Cecily said softly. Something crossed her mind and she bit her lip. Her gut told her that whoever was responsible for all of this, it wasn't just some sort of random stranger. Grimm was too deadly and terrifying for this to just be a random copycat killer off of the streets.

"Hear me out but... I have a feeling that our suspect is going to be one of these Star Students. We should find Riley and the missing receptionist, then look over the Star Students - dead and alive - and see who has the skills needed to do this... Grimm is so much like a horror movie that I think we need to be that thorough," she said softly.

Leda Storm

Location: Granite Falls, North Carolina, Outside of Crystal River School For Troubled Youth, Parking Lot

Leda smirked a bit, before pressing a slight indentation on the hilt of Ultraviolet and her sword transformed back into a necklace. She put the necklace back on around her neck, brushing a bit of stray hair out of the way. She did feel a bit bad for the kids they had just found - yes, they were bringing them to safety but their entire lives had just been turned upside down. A few of them didn't look like they could have been older than ten. One of the kids was in the chariot already and she had to wonder if transporting them this way back to Camp Half-blood would do more harm than good. Some people could get a bit freaked out and overwhelmed by flying from Carolina to Long Island in minutes in a magic chariot.

But as much as she was empathetic... Leda also didn't care. She could understand the feelings of others and knew how to read them, but was she going to change the way she behaved because of that? Hardly. She zipped on ahead, going back into her own chariot and she waited to see which chariots these new campers decided to go into. None of them exactly looked like potential candidates to be her siblings. Of course, that could easily change if one of them started complaining about how slow travel was - or glowing like a being made out of pure rainbows. That also tended to be an easy tell for a child of Iris. The older girl though, Leda was wondering if she'd turn out to be a half sister of Kristen. Athena's kids were almost always blonde - though Apollo's kids also fit into that rule.

"I'm taking cool people only," Leda announced. "No snails allowed."

Walnut decided to ignore the words Swamp had said to her. The man was some sort of villain and she did not want to waste more mental energy and effort on him, especially considering his nauseating behavior with the Chanteuse. Honestly, she was a bit disappointed that her pistol had not backfired and rendered her deaf and blind, since then she would be spared the worse punishment in the history of Rutas Ma. Unfortunately, then Swamp had to direct words towards Rhoda about her own condition - she turned her nose up slightly. She was more than capable of telling the woman of her injuries. She then gave Rhoda a smile, before taking a seat on the stool.

"You are very kind - thank you," Walnut told the woman. She could appreciate the juxtaposition in Rhoda's form and presence as she allowed Rhoda to take the damaged and wounded hand. She overheard the Chanteuse as she spoke to Doctor Swamp and she almost asked for cotton to stick in her ears. "If I may be so bold, how was it you came to be employed here?" Walnut asked. It was mostly so that way there would be other conversation to help to drown out the sound of the lovebirds. She didn't really care how Rhoda had been hired, but then again, maybe she would learn something of interest to her. Hopefully Rhoda would turn out to be rather talkative - she didn't want to have to think of too many questions to keep the conversation going.

Guin Stark

"I'd say slim at best," Black Widow told Cap bluntly. They were the children of two incredibly stubborn people and were also in the midst of their teenage rebellion phase. She honestly would've been surprised if they stayed out of this, but hopefully Hulk, Thor, and Iron Man almost had Madman handled up on top of that building. If they didn't, they'd have a bigger problem on their hand than delinquent kids. For now, Madman was contained. If he got away... she didn't want to think about the civilian casualties.

Meanwhile, Guin was a bit shocked at Lance. He was always going on and on about how they had to follow the rules - that acting out and going against orders was bad. "Am I dreaming or is Mr. Goody Two Shoes actually saying we should defy the Avengers and our parents?" Guin asked, raising an eyebrow. "Since that is something I would suggest - you on the other hand are supposed to talk me out of doing dumb and reckless things." Of course, there was one problem with his suggestion. Guin wasn't really certain how they could help at this point anyways. She had done what she could do - destroyed the device. What else could she accomplish against Madman?

Guin Stark

Location: The Palace - New York City, New York (Outfit)
Skills: Telepathy (Mental Link)
Will do. Be back in a bit, love, Guin told Pietro softly through their mental link. She then returned her attention fully to Allison, raising an eyebrow slightly as Allison checked to make sure they were entirely alone in the restroom. To some the behavior would have been alarming, but Guin found the paranoia a bit comforting. Crazy people generally lacked the self awareness to check to make sure no one else was there before they started explaining all of their insane thoughts and feelings. However, she kept her face neutral, letting Allison continue to hold her hand as well.

At first, Guin was incredibly confused by everything Allison was telling her. It seemed so improbable but... she had had something of a dream that was incredibly similar to that. Was it possible that her dream had been real? The odds of her and Allison sharing a dream were small, but they were still calculable. Stranger things had happened. Maybe someone had tried to mess with both of their heads, fully convincing Allison and then only partially convincing Guin? "Okay, I have a few ideas as to what might have happened, but we'll need to go to my lab... And I'll need to do some scans of your brain to eliminate a few possibilities," Guin explained quietly.

"You could be right. I... I had a dream like that and it felt really real. But also, we're both affiliated with the Royal Family - it could've been someone in the Human Resistance group trying to mess with us in order to get to the royals," she added. There was a problem though - taking Allison to go to her lab meant that they would need to leave the Palace and head to Stark Tower. She doubted King Erik would just let them leave his party early. He had been known to kill people for less.

"But so that way you can blend in, at least until we confirm that you are right and it isn't something else... You're a wealthy New York City socialite here - engaged to a professional athlete, Oshea Jackson. You're an ambassador or diplomat of sorts for King Erik and the Royal Family. I don't think you know how to fight here - I certainly don't. I mean... it's hard to imagine a reality where Pietro let me do that." She sighed slightly. It was a bit of a sore subject - the possibility of her training and learning how to fight. He was strongly against it. And nothing Guin ever said would change his mind on it.

Casper Theriot

Location: LeBeau Casino -> Outside - New Orleans, Louisiana
Skills: Mediumship
Casper looked at his brother and the others around the room for a moment, before he sighed slightly, looking a bit like a kicked puppy. "Of course... I'll get out of your hair, Jackie," he told his brother, giving him a forced smile before he got up. "Tu n'as jamais voulu un frère comme moi," he told his brother quietly, and he walked out of the room. He left the candy and soda he had grabbed on the table, not exactly wanting to bring it with him.

"Hey, chin up, man," Ben told Casper, running a bit to catch up with the taller, living mutant. Casper shook his head slightly, looking around the hallway outside of the basement room they had been in. He had no idea where he was or how he'd even get outside to find fresh air, but it didn't matter. He could tell that his brother's life was practically perfect here - and the main thing standing in the way of that was his presence. What was it Jack had called him again - incompetent? "Ben I don't know what to do..." he said quietly.

"For one, you're being a bit over dramatic... But given who your dad is, I think that's to be expected," Ben said bluntly and Casper winced a bit at the mention of his father. "Two, Jack seems to be messing with some dangerous people here - so he probably isn't the same Jack we remember. And three, since I know logic isn't your fortΓ©, take some deep breaths and find a computer. The internet will help."

"...Hug?" Casper asked Ben. The ghost rolled his eyes and hugged Casper - though since he wasn't a tangible being, Ben's hugs were an entirely visual effect and had no added physical experience. Casper then took a breath and walked through Ben, his friend rolling his eyes and following after him as Casper went up the stairs and emerged into the main floor of a casino. "...Yeah, I see why Jackie likes this place," he said with a bit of a sniffle. He glanced back down the stairs and then walked out the back exit of the casino, spotting one of the gingers from earlier leaning up against a wall, taking off blood stained gloves.

"...Okay, so avoid her," Ben advised.

"Hey, do you know which way the library is?" Casper asked the girl.

Runa Blake

Location: Banner Residence - Sydney, Australia
Skills: N/A
Runa had a strong sense of dread as they asked for Dr. Banner - no one ever came out this way to visit Lance's father, she recalled. There were too many people present for this to be a pleasant social call. Large groups only came to visit someone who lived on the outskirts of society, bringing a strange Midgardian ship with them if they were up to something. She couldn't tell yet if it was something good or evil - but her gut was telling her the latter. She clenched her hands slightly, angry that not an hour after waking up in this dream world, it was already threatening to turn into a nightmare.

Her stomach twisted into knots as they ignored Lance's question as to who they were. Yes, her intuition had been correct - these were not heroes. A team of heroes would have explained who they were. A team of villains? They wouldn't leave a loose end like that. It made her more concerned that they were not attempting to hide their identity. It meant that they didn't need to - either because they were planning to kill them or because no one would bother to arrest them for their actions. "Thor, tordengud, gi meg styrke, sΓ₯ jeg kan slΓ₯ dem ned. Klara, kjΓ¦rlighetens gudinne, gi meg mot slik at jeg kan beskytte de jeg bryr meg om. Odin, krigsgud, gi meg visdom slik at jeg kan overleve, og mine fiender vil dΓΈ ved mitt blad," Runa mumbled to herself softly. It was a prayer to the gods.

She hoped that they were listening and with her hands obscured behind Lance, she tapped into Eldritch Magic and created two discs of magical energy around her hands. If these strangers tried to hurt them, she would be ready for them.

Dominika Novikova

Location: Banner Residence - Sydney, Australia
Skills: Dimensional Energy Perception
Novikova closed her eyes, causing the flow of nonstop images of Lance Banner to stop. She didn't know if she should tell the others what she had seen - but she did know now that Lance was the same person as her best friend. One of them had to have come from an alternate universe in their own world - and she was leaning towards it being Sparky. It would explain why she had no memories of Sparky in this world. Niah's calm voice allowed her to refocus on the task at hand. At Maria's question, Novikova grimaced slightly. "...I don't know," she said softly. "Nothing good."

Opening her eyes, Novikova looked at his girlfriend. The flood of images wasn't anything she had expected. The human they were looking at wasn't actually human at all - she was an Asgardian. Taking a breath, she shut her eyes and then put her shades back on. If she had to bet, she would say that this girlfriend of Lance's was somehow connected to Raynor Blake. The surname was the same after all. Perhaps a twin?

"...The girl, she's dangerous," Novikova then told Maria. She owed no debt to Runa. "I saw her in other lifetimes as... an Asgardian," she then added at a whisper. "Are we sure she's human?" she then asked, worried that they might be about to fight an alien. Asgardians exceeded almost everyone in strength - they came from legend practically.
