Cecily Ashworth

Location: The Asylum - Outside
Skills: Deduction

Cecily nodded slightly at Roy's rant about essentially going in with no plan, and truth be told, it freaked her out. One of her fears was being asked to improvise - to produce an answer without really knowing what was going on. The barebones of the plan were pretty much fine - go in, find their friends, and get out. But what if they ran into trouble? Did Roy want her to hide behind him or try to do science on the fly to throw a bomb at someone worthy of being shown on MythBusters? God, she missed watching that show and it hadn't been too long since she binge watched a bunch of reruns. "Yay..." Cecily said quietly as they pulled up at the asylum and it looked pretty much like Arkham. Was that a coincidence? Was this place inspiration for Arkham Asylum? Or did every creepy asylum just have to look the same?

She got out of the car, closing the door and she tried her best not to have an internal monologue about how the car door shutting signaled the start of the next round of crazy, life threatening shenanigans. What would Jessica Jones do? She would take a deep breath, stay calm, and try her best in a shitty situation. Cecily repeated that answer to herself in her mind a few times, trying to work through the enormous nerves that were buzzing around inside of her like bees. Now wasn't the time to freak out and run. Riley needed her. Roy's partner needed her. Roy needed her. "...Ladies first?" Cecily suggested, before motioning for Roy to go first. A little bit of humor would help to soothe her nerves, hopefully.

New York Sanctum - New York: July 15th, 2021 - 7:30 P.M.

The Brilliant Minds - Left Side of the First Floor...

Dr. Banner nodded slightly at Niah, with Shuri walking over to join them - as well as the Invisible Woman and Bonnie. It seemed that the heroes were more or less self selecting based on education level, dividing into two groups: the brains and the brawn. Those who could fit into either category could more or less choose where to go, of course - as it would be insane to suggest that the Hulk didn't easily fit into the brawn group. He was practically their figurehead - him or Captain Marvel, really. "I'm all ears, Dr. Bautista," he said, using Niah's title since Niah had a PhD, earning her the right to be called a doctor.

The Black Panther nodded at Cassandra, as she asked if anyone had any thoughts on how exactly to go about building a time machine. "Vibranium," she said simply. "All of our achievements in technology in Wakanda came from it - I see no reason why a time machine wouldn't need that metal as well," she reasoned. At the mention of her home country, the sparkle in Shuri's eyes seemed to dim slightly. The last time they had been in Wakanda... things hadn't ended well. They had lost people.

"I'm not an engineer - so just point me where you need me and I'll do my best," Bonnie said. Time travel and all was out of her skill set, but she had a sharp scientific mind and several doctorate degrees. She had been working at S.H.I.E.L.D. long enough to know that she could do anything if she put her mind to it, and besides, she had Cass with her. Their little partnership was back together.

The Muscles Brigade - Right Side of the First Floor...

"I don't know where the weapon he's building is," Wanda muttered. "If I did, I would have used it to destroy Ultron myself." She didn't like anymore than they did that she had to come to these people for help, but she was out of options. She needed someone to help her upload the virus while she manipulated the probability fields around Ultron. If the X-Men hadn't perished, she would have just asked her future sister in law to help - of course, would Wanda even be doing this if her twin brother hadn't been killed with the rest of his team? If Quicksilver was still alive and working for Ultron as well, would she care?

She then reached into her pocket and paused for a moment, before pulling out a crinkled sheet of paper. "I found this," she said, opening the paper up. It was an email between two Serval Industries employees, discussing the organo-techno virus they were working on developing for a client. "Ultron may know about it, but like your irritating friend, he doesn't think a virus can hurt him." Wanda held out her hands, little wisps of red appearing around them. "I can manipulate the probability fields - make the probability high that this virus will stop him from replicating himself."

Mr. Dibbles, being a turtle, didn't really know what was going on. He just saw a giant red cat in front of him and the turtle decided that he liked the cat, so Mr. Dibbles walked forward slowly and booped Goose with his head.

Dr. Strange hadn't yet walked on over to the other side of the room with the rest of the nerds, preferring to keep the mystical threat in his sights until he knew whether or not she could be trusted. He smirked slightly as Flynn pointed out one of his prized possessions - the Time Stone. He was charged to protect it as the Sorcerer Supreme and he knew the dangers of messing with the laws of reality. From what he understood, using time travel to avert one crisis only ensured that a larger, greater threat would come along one day. The X-Men had stopped an apocalyptic future for mutants - and now, here they were, with an apocalyptic future for all life on the planet.

"Yes, I am in possession of the Eye of Agamotto - a relic powerful enough to contain the Time Stone," Strange answered. "I must warn you - its use cannot be done lightly. To use an infinity stone to unravel time as you described... there will be a price to pay. Not only would at least one of you perish, but a greater crisis will emerge in an attempt to replace this one... The X-Men didn't understand this and now look, Ultron is supreme."

Captain Marvel didn't even hesitate. "And we'll be ready to face that threat when it comes. We're soldiers. This is what we do." She rubbed her fists slightly, thinking about the enormous power that flowed through her veins. She wasn't going to let the world end out of fear - she was going to save it, no matter the sacrifice. Higher, further, faster - that was her motto and she was going to live by it no matter what.

Raynor stared at the Scarlet Witch, before he nodded slightly. She had been a terrorist and she lost someone she cared about. How was that not his own life story? He had done horrible things, terrible things that he couldn't be absolved of no matter how much he tried to put things right. "I can babysit her. If she makes a wrong move, I'll fry her," he offered, glancing over at Tinley for approval.

"Yikes, you guys must really hate her... Anyways, how are we going to destroy this weapon thingy? Or are we going after the Ultron killing virus first? Or both?" Spider-Gwen asked. She was bouncing lightly from one foot to the other, psyching herself up for a day of fighting for their lives.

Washington D.C.: September 8th, 2020 - 1:50 PM

Frost International HQ - Downtown Washington D.C.:

For whatever reason, Jinx seemed to be exactly the guard's type and before he slipped away, the guard handed Jinx a card with his number on it. The unlucky mutant could be getting lucky in the near future, depending on how he played this off. Emma Frost didn't take to Jinx nearly as well, but who could blame her? It was her company, her associates from her less than innocent business dealings were here unannounced, and he had just asked her to run along and not worry her pretty head about it? She seemed to be a bit more receptive to Requiem.

"Of course. I wasn't informed that you two would be visiting my company - it's caught me off guard. However, I will accompany you nonetheless." Her eyes twinkled for a moment, and she then smiled slightly. "I just cleared my schedule with my assistant. Now what is it that you boys wished to look into here?" She then did a quick mental scan of Jinx and Requiem's minds, picking up a few pieces of information but neither mutant would know what exactly.

Sunshine and Spirit Box

Location: the Morlock Tunnels
Skills: People Reading, Psychology, Mediumship
Erg sighed slightly, as Max told him what had happened. The leader of the Washington D.C. Morlocks then gave him a nod and rubbed his face - a tame reaction considering that Erg saw no problem greeting people at gunpoint. One part of Max's explanation stuck out to him - the language that he used. One of our own. "Caduceus is not one of my people," he said bluntly. "I am proud that you, Tome, made him one of yours and protected him." While his words were praise for his actions, his facial expression was neutral and guarded - who knew how Erg really felt about all of this.

Casper gave James a gentle smile though. "If you insist..." he quipped, after James said fuck me upon failing to really do much to heal Casper's injuries. The bleeding on his head had stopped and his eyes were still stinging, with the black eyes pretty much halfway formed by now (courtesy of Leighton's new boyfriend the Purifier). "Not that I'm turning into my father or anything but... Sometimes, if your powers aren't working, it's all in your head. Get your mind in order, whatever it is that's bothering you, and it'll come back to you."

"If you were turning into your dad... Which do you think would go first - the hair or the legs?"

"Better be the legs, Bennie, my hair is beautiful!" Casper told his ghost friend. Casper then flexed his legs slightly, as if that would tell him if there was any danger of him being confined to a wheelchair shortly. His ears perked up slightly again as his brother, Stretch, started talking about letting people crash at his office. Jack's place was one of his favorite places to sleep - it had a consistent supply of doughnuts and it reminded him of when they were little, sharing a room together. He missed those days.

"Don't forget, you wanted waffles," Ben reminded Casper.

"Jackie, can we get waffles on the way back to your place?" he then inquired.

Sunshine, meanwhile, seemed to have escaped Erg's wrath for her bullying of Max. She kept a hold on Fred, her pet dead rat, and judged the terrain more or less around her. Growing up on the streets, she had a pretty easy time when it came to reading people. Leighton and Max were going to go off to the Mutant Underground. She was certain James would follow them or just head on home after all of this. Casper, the idiot, was just going to follow his brother. It meant that she would be the only one of this little group to stay with the Morlocks. She really was the girl that everyone abandoned - and why wouldn't they?

"You guys can be idiots and go join X-Men Little League, I'm staying here where it's safe," Sunshine said, rolling her eyes slightly. The Mutant Underground risked their lives to get mutants to safety, but she knew a lot of them ended up in prison themselves for their actions. Sunshine was just looking out for herself, not others, and joining the Mutant Underground would be a selfless act. She wasn't a selfless person. Maybe she would join the Brotherhood of Mutants one day, kill the humans and destroy their lives just like they had destroyed hers. Maybe one day.

"Knock it off," Blink scolded Sunshine. "Everyone has a right to make their own choices, doesn't make them idiots. And being mean to everyone, kid? That won't make anyone like you and want to be your friend, just saying." She wasn't going to try however to deal with the dead rat Sunshine was carrying around like a trophy - that was a lost cause at this point.

Blink then opened a portal and on the other side, they would be able to see Veil and the others at the Mutant Underground. "Everyone heading to the Underground, now's the time," she said.

"Thank you for the generator and the offer to patch ours up, Caduceus," Erg then said, acknowledging James. "If you wish, you can stay and finish and Blink will then take you wherever you want to go... Or if you leave now, Grimlock can extract the information on how to fix it from your head before you go."

Veil

Location: The Mutant Underground Main Area - Washington D.C. Station
Skills: Leadership, Perception
Veil took in the information that Glimpse had more or less failed to mention - her connections to the Hellfire Club. It was concerning, but it wasn't something that would cause her to no longer trust her. Havok had a direct connection to Magneto, as he had an on-and-off again relationship with his daughter Polaris. She didn't remember much but she knew that Sunspot had a connection to the Hellfire Club as well. "Would Shaw suspect something of you, if you were to pay him a visit?" Veil asked her. If Glimpse got them into the building, Veil could keep the others invisible, allowing them to poke around while Glimpse distracted Shaw.

Havok nodded slightly at Sapphire. "Want to make a bet on how long it'll take for her to turn on us?" he whispered to the ice wielding mutant. He had hoped that Colossus would take their side, but he figured that hopefully Moonwalker and the others would see what a huge mistake this all was, trusting Glimpse. She was an unknown element and in an operation as fragile as this, they needed to have every little variable defined and controlled in order to survive. Glimpse was a threat to everyone here.

It was a few moments later that Sunspot, Cannonball, and Negasonic entered the room. Cannonball was there for the food mostly that Moonwalker had mentioned, eager to get something that didn't taste like watered down sweaty socks to eat for once. Sunspot, however, had recognized the name Braddock. He had vowed to take down the Hellfire Club after they resulted in the death of his girlfriend, Juliana. Braddock was the surname of one of the families of the club. The instant he saw Glimpse, he burst into flames, glaring at her. "What the hell are we doing, letting Hellfire scum in here?!" he shouted.

Even though Sunspot knew rationally that Glimpse didn't have anything to do with Juliana's death, it was all he could think about. Cannonball sighed slightly, gently putting a hand on his friend's shoulder without getting burned. "What Sunspot means to say is welcome to the Mutant Underground," Cannonball said, hoping to smooth things over.

Negasonic laughed slightly, shaking her head. "Yeah, that's not what he meant at all..."

And as if things weren't tense enough, a bright purple tear in reality formed in front of them - it was a portal! On the other side, they could see a few people standing in what looked to be the sewers. Had Colossus had a better line of sight, he would have been able to recognize Stretch, the private investigator they had hired. It took Veil a moment before her mind put it all together - the brand on Erg's face was what finally clued her in. It was similar to the one she had on her arm.

"...And they said the Morlocks were a myth," she said quietly. "What can we do to help?" she asked, not hesitating or demanding them to join or pointing a gun at them.

John Watts

Location: Serval Industries Engineering Lab
Skills: Mechanical Engineering, Perception, Chemistry
Watts had been reaching for a cupcake before Andrew even offered one to him, taking it and eating the frosting only. He didn't care much for the cake portion of it, thinking them as simply glorified frosting delivery systems. He then chucked the cake towards the trash can, the projectile landing perfectly inside of its intending target and Watts smirked slightly. "It's obvious why it isn't working," he told Andrew. He glanced over the system and its design, noticing a few issues that jumped out to him immediately. A lot of people got so excited about all of the advanced and terrific applications of their tech that they forgot to cover the basics.

"You don't have sufficient insulation on the wiring. While you have thermoplastic NM-B wiring here, you're going to need something more substantial due to the size manipulations in the suit, as well as your specific alloy," Watts explained to him, a slight condescending tone to his voice. Of course, there was a slight smirk on his face - either from being right or just from having a brief little mental exercise. "There's also I think a 10% chance that when you use the suit, you are causing corrosion on your power source which will degrade performance significantly. But most likely, your problem is the insulation."

"Anything else I can help you with, kiddo?" he asked. He didn't use kiddo as a term of endearment.

Guin Stark

Location: Stark Tower - New York City, New York (Outfit)
Skills: N/A
Guin's eyes narrowed as Allison told her that her family wasn't real. Ironically, just as Allison suggested that Guin would want to smack herself, she really wanted to punch Allison in the face. She loved her family - her grandparents, they were real. Her parents, they were real. Nothing Allison had told her or any of the facts suggested that that wasn't the case. The only thing she could think of that Allison could have meant by that was that her family was dead in the real world - and that would be why they weren't real. But hell, Dumbledore had said just because it's happening in your head doesn't mean it's not real and she was certain that applied here. Real was an arbitrary term.

She fought the momentary urge to flip one of the tables in the lab over out of frustration.

Her grandfather was right - no matter what, they needed to catch the person responsible for all of this. It was too much power for one individual to have, to be able to reshape reality. As for the treatment of humans in this world - Guin knew that it was bad, but there also would be a regime change coming sooner rather than later. King Erik was rather old and Flynn would be taking over. He was very directionless and easy to influence, meaning that Guin could nudge him in the right direction, make this reality perfect even if it wasn't the real one... "I'll work with you on figuring out who did this - but I'm not going to play god and dictate how a world should be. That's too much power for one person, even if you are one of the good guys. It should be a group decision."

She then left the lab, heading back up to the main floor of the tower and she grabbed a pair of shoes, slipping them back on. Guin quickly conversed with her bodyguards, telling them that she and Allison were going to be returning to the Palace at once.

Casper Theriot

Location: LeBeau Casino - New Orleans, Louisiana
Skills: Mediumship
There was no reaction from Bobbi or Anastasia about Casper's news that Marygold had been almost killed - and he wasn't sure what to think about that. Was this sort of thing normal for them or were these two girls just sociopaths who didn't care? "Psst, Ben, on a scale of one to ten, how indifferent would you rank these people?" Casper whispered to his ghost friend, trying his best to be discrete but failing at it.

"...Five," Ben answered after a slight pause.

"Ginger, your name is Ginger," Casper said, before waving his hand slightly at the coma spirit. Thankfully Jack was handling Gambit, since Casper was more or less focused on the other people in the area. Ben and Marygold were both being talkative, which unfortunately was the case with ghosts - they never tended to shut up! - and then Anastasia and Bobbi just seemed heartless to him. Unfortunately, though, that meant that Casper was the one available to talk to Rogue (yay!)

"Tell the truth," Ben agreed, chiming in on Mary's comments.

Casper nodded slightly, thinking of how best to put this. "Well, Crazy Ginger is a serial killer and insane, and she told me that the crown you guys are after is actually an Infinity Stone, which would destroy the universe if it falls into the wrong hands... And no offense, these people here seem to be the definition of the wrong hands to me. And she got mad at my brother, which I get, women tend to get upset with him - and I got mad at her for being mad at my baby brother, since duh, he's my little brother and it's my job to protect him! Anyways then Crazy Ginger Number Two came and tried to protect us, and then Ben somehow came to life and fought too, but Crazy Ginger managed to hurt her twin and seems to have put her in a coma since I can see her ghost..."

Dominika Novikova and Runa Blake

Location: Outside the Quinjet / Outside -> Inside the Banner Residence - Sydney, Australia
Skills: Eldritch Magic
Dominika raised a slight eyebrow. Niah never struck her as the type to be tying up and securing prisoners, since from what she knew, Niah preferred to work behind the scenes and stick with the science. At the very least, Niah seemed to be working with them like Maria - that was good and it felt normal, like they had gotten the majority of the team back together. She threw a glance back, having been able to hear the conversation from the bottom of the ramp. "Actually, it isn't Cass' team - it's Tinley's," she informed her, before walking out completely.

She then nodded at Maria. "...Just don't look at me after you absorb it," she told her softly. She didn't want to know what her life looked like across the multiverse - she didn't want her girlfriend seeing a trend of evil, if that was what Novikova was destined for. It might have been a bit selfish, since she never hesitated to look at other people and use her power in order to get information, but Novikova didn't need the question of her moral character to be answered like that. The next few minutes went by with a blur and as the Hulk tried to strike at Maria, Novikova took a slight breath, only releasing it once the beast stood down and shifted back.

"Dr. Banner... We need your help," Novikova told him plainly.

Runa meanwhile had heard the word X-Men drift off of the plane. She knew that they were a group dedicated to stopping mutant terrorists on Midgard, but not much more beyond that. Unlike the Avengers, they weren't really a high profile enough group for Thor to tell stories about on Asgard. He was where they got most of their information on Midgardian warriors from, as most Asgardians dismissed Midgardians as nothing more than petty flies.

"You're more irritating than my brother..." Runa muttered at James, thoroughly annoyed with his astral presence. She shoved his spirit backwards and James would wake up in his body a moment later.

She stared for a second at Dr. Banner and Lance, but her heart was heavy. The young sorceress then turned and quickly walked back into the Banner residence, heading for Lance's room. She was still wearing her pajamas from earlier and she started to search the room for her sling ring, finding it quickly underneath the bed. It must have fallen there or something. Runa then quickly changed her clothes and she slid the sling ring onto her finger, taking a slight breath. As much as she loved Lance, she knew that this wasn't her world. It was Asgard's duty to protect the Nine Realms - evidently, they had failed.

Leda Storm

Location: Camp Half-Blood

Leda nodded slightly at Mary's explanations, before wondering why Kristin had put Zeke in charge - and why the rest of them had more or less signed off on it. Leda knew that she herself wasn't a fantastic leader, but that wasn't what her problem was. As much as she hated Kristin, putting a kid of Athena in charge was a smart move - they were born strategists and tacticians. In her experience, the kids of Apollo were just born assholes. She then rolled her eyes at Mary as she called her Princess Rainbow Unicorn. "It's Empress Rainbow Unicorn to you, Isley."

At the mention of cute girls or guys, Leda's thoughts briefly flickered to Kiera but she shook her head. "Nah, just a bunch of duds," she told Theresa. Her eyes then went skyward seeing the lightning and Leda couldn't help but laugh. Two kids of Hades and one of the kids was Zeus'? "Oh we are so completely fucked!" she declared. Not even the legendary Percy Jackson had been accompanied by this many kids of the Big Three when he arrived. It had just been him from what the stories said and that ended up being one of the starts of Kronos rising and trying to topple Olympus. "What sort of shit storm do you think is brewing? Though the odds that we all survive this? I'd say they're practically nothing now. Jesus!"

Beatrice Decker

Location: Quarantine (W: Conference Room -> Briefing)
Skills: N/A

At Manny's slight monologue about his past, Beatrice gave him a curt nod. It was more or less her way of saying I respect you, good job, I get what you're saying to him. She wasn't a person for public displays of affection of any sort, with a handshake being about the most physical contact she had initiated or participated in since arriving here at Mexico Beach. It was funny, though, that Manny mentioned he wasn't much of a hugger - that seemed to hold true for most of the people in what had been their little group. Case in point, as Thana pulled her in tight after the handshake, Beatrice was a bit flustered and her eyes widened slightly. At Thana's words, she smirked slightly. "Thanks, Mom," she whispered back.

However, she then caught the can of O's - her mind briefly flickering towards wondering if Thalia could catch a can tossed at her with only one real hand - and she laughed slightly. The O Wars hadn't been on her mind since they got here. Beatrice tapped the lid of the can slightly. It wasn't too much later that Panama came in, reading off a list of names that needed to go see Gunny. She noticed a certain theme to them - it was the Eden squad and Thana's boyfriend. Given that Thana had been referred to only as Sparrow here, she guessed that was her assigned codename. It'd be weird if Alex didn't get Mugsy as his name, but she doubted that that would be taken into account if he was allowed to stay. She figured that they all had been called out to discuss something relating to Thana, since she was the common connection. She had a grip on the can of O's nonetheless as she sat down, shooting the occasional glance over at Thalia.

Beatrice was half tempted to casually let go of the O's in the middle of this briefing, just to see if Thalia would jump over the table or something to get at them.

Jack Newnan

Location: Quarantine (W: Conference Room)
Skills: N/A

"I know, right? Guess I gotta think somethin' up, defend my title as King of the Goofs," Jack told his wife with a chuckle. He was pretty damn happy for Ash and he couldn't remember ever seeing Ash like this before, and he considered himself pretty close friends with him. It seemed to him that Ash and Thana proved that love at first sight really was possible. But even if Thana and Ash weren't meant to be and this was just an extreme case of puppy love, it didn't matter. Ash deserved some joy in his life after all of the pain and suffering. Taking a seat back down on the couch, Jack hoped that Jamie wouldn't tear off for at least another few minutes, give him and Tatiana a proper chance to talk.

When Panama came and called people in, Jack started to move for a second before he realized that Panama had said NewMan and not NewNan. "...That isn't confusin' at all," he said quietly with a bit of a grin. Of course, he was curious as to why that group was being called in to talk to Gunny. Were those the ones that were being offered admission more or less to Mexico Beach? Or was it all just a coincidence and they were being asked to talk since, from what he could tell, they all had a personal connection to Thana? Or were those all of the people that were not being asked to join the community? He took a slight breath before smiling at his wife. "Any idea what that's all about solovey?" he asked her.

Walnut found herself in agreement with Cobalt - which was to be expected, as his suggestion was really more or less an agreement to her original one. It was a bit longwinded for her tastes and she was not yet sure what to make of him. She didn't have very concrete opinions on most of these people, as she had spent the majority of her time with Titian, and then Swamp and Amaranthine. As her thoughts flickered to Amaranthine, she felt a slight pull to go be around the woman - probably a desire to see her throat slit. She hated the woman with a passion and would love to see her world burn. She nodded in agreement with Penance's reasoning - if it had been a murder, well, they were all suspects. No one could be ruled out.

The knowledge that Blush had been allowed upstairs was interesting - Walnut wanted to know why, exactly. There was nothing that struck her as unique or interesting about the woman. Perhaps she had some sort of connection to the staff here. If anything, Blush's omission that she had been allowed upstairs made Walnut suspicious of her. It was evidence that she was being treated differently than the rest. "What information did you find exactly that incriminated the doctor?" Walnut asked. She then found her attention pulled towards Rave for some bizarre reason and she started to watch the woman, as if the fates had convened and decided that Walnut would want to be drawn to her strongly now. Walnut didn't understand it herself.

@BlueSky44@Kirah@Nallore@FantasyChic@Jasonhero
New York Sanctum - New York: July 15th, 2021 - 7:20 P.M.

The course of action was settled then - the science inclined members of the team would work out the logistics of a time machine, while the rest were going to hopefully destroy Ultron's weapon before he could unleash it on the world. It had the benefit of attacking the problem from both angles, but it also reduced the numbers working on each approach. Roman's request for the sorcerers to teleport them ended up going unanswered sadly, as practically everyone in the room was distracted by the arrival of Wanda Maximoff. Captain Marvel nodded at Tinley and she powered down per her request, but Dr. Strange kept his magic discs up, not about to just trust Wanda. This was his domain, after all - the Sanctum was his to defend and he had made that vow when he became its master.

"You know, we have a Scarlet Witch on my earth," Spider-Gwen told her companions near her. "She's a founding member of the Avengers there... but I am guessing from your trigger happy reactions, she's not as friendly here?"

"She's a wanted terrorist, implicated in an attempt to release a biological weapon on New York City, escaped the Raft countless times...Stole cutting edge technology from too many companies to count... " Raynor explained to Spider-Gwen, filling in just a few choice moments from the Scarlet Witch's criminal history. While her twin brother Quicksilver was reformed and her sister Polaris worked with the Mutant Underground, Wanda still ran with the Brotherhood. Raynor almost forgot about Plasma, the other Magneto kid - last he remembered, she had gone into witness protection.

Dr. Strange nodded slightly at Raynor's assessment and explanation. "We keep a list of individuals with mystical powers who are a threat to the universe and the multiverse... The Scarlet Witch is on that list, ranked even higher than the Asgardian Loki." The Sorcerer Supreme was supposed to protect the world from mystical threats, leaving the Avengers and others to handle the more concrete, gritty physical ones. Scarlet Witch was a unique villain who fell into both categories. Whatever she was here for, Strange was sure it was nothing good.

Wanda raised a slight eyebrow, before she gave Goose a slight scratch behind his ears. She then put Mr. Dibbles down on the ground, in order to let the turtle have some freedom to move. He didn't like being carried around all day and Wanda could hardly blame him. "Yes, my father works for Ultron," she answered Maria. Her eyes then locked onto Tinley, figuring out that she was the leader. "I'm here for revenge. Ultron killed my brother... my only real family. I want to make him pay for that." Her accent was thick and Eastern European - Serbian, to the more discerning ear.

"...I can understand your wish to avenge your brother, as from what I know, the two of you were fairly close for a long time..." the Invisible Woman said softly, giving Wanda a bit of a smile, "Most of us have lost someone along the way... I'm willing to give her a chance, but that is just my opinion..."

She nodded slightly. "Pietro was my twin... We were connected." Her eyes darted around the room, not expecting them to trust her but she was certain that if they teamed up, then they would be able to bring Ultron's empire to its knees.

"Why reach out to us now?" Bonnie asked. "The X-Men died in December - Quicksilver's been dead for months," she pointed out. It didn't make sense to her that Wanda would wait seven months to get vengeance for her fallen brother. To her, this entire situation felt like a trap and she tensed up slightly. As much as she knew there were people with extraordinary powers in here, they hadn't been enough to stop Ultron... The Scarlet Witch could easily be how some of them died today.

Dr. Banner was silent, doubtlessly thinking over the logistics of time travel and the chance of seeing his son alive again. The Black Panther was studying Wanda, potentially debating as well whether she could be trusted. "You yourself worked for Ultron after your brother died," Captain Marvel pointed out to Wanda, crossing her arms slightly.

Wanda nodded slightly. "To get him to trust me... To learn what makes him vulnerable... Serval Industries was making a techno-organic virus before Ultron came into power... It can kill him."

Present Day - The Castle: November 5th, 12,508 - 8:00 PM

The Palace Courtyard...

Myrus had let go of the assassin, thanks to Sylvi's attack on the creature, and the assassin's red leather cloak exploded. Burn marks were all over the attacker, but it hardly phased him, just as Sylvi's strikes hadn't done much more beyond blind him. "It's not... not human!" Myrus shouted at Sylvi, hoping that she would get away from the creature before it was too late and she got hurt. Nothing human had fangs like that. He would have said the thing was a werewolf, but he had never seen one partially transform so what was it?

"No, I don't think he will, Princess Ragna, Alvis' daughter," the creature taunted, staring at Sylvi with its one eye. There was no blood coming from the eye she had stabbed, but it seemed to have scabbed over in a matter of seconds. Apparently, Sylvi was much more interesting to the vampire than Amarantha was, even as she called out and baited him. "You're awfully far from home, aren't you?" he jeered.

Antonije, meanwhile, had nodded at Amarantha. "Sounds like a plan," he said, putting in the protective ear equipment and giving a pause, waiting for anyone else to put them in as he ran over towards the creature, Myrus, and Sylvi. He didn't have a chance to give Sylvi protection, so he decided to use his telepathy to get the thing away from her first. "You will leave her alone and walk away NOW!" Antonije instructed. His will won out and the creature started to walk away from Sylvi, creating the ideal opening that Mona had been looking for.

With the creature gone, Myrus tried to scramble to his feet, tears flowing from his eyes as Mavis had been murdered in front of him. The knife wound was worse than he had initially expected though, the very movement making him dizzy and the world seemed to spin for him. For a moment, he could have sworn that he saw the old ExtraOrdinary Wizard, Arya, in the crowd at Bonfire Night. "Please... Help Mavis..." he pleaded.

Unfortunately, the creature hadn't been along. More and more were coming out of the shadows. There were at least eight outside and people had started to scream in panic, attempting to evacuate. More people were injured as they fell and were trampled than were by the attacking creatures, though the attacks themselves were strange. Rather than going for kill shots, these things seemed intent on biting people. Another one was coming dangerously close to Myrus and he tried his best to move, to protect himself, but he was too weak.

The Palace Proper...

As far as Valda would know, the only way to get to her room without going into the hallway would be through Magyk. In theory, a simple Transport should be enough to get the group from point A to point B, but there was no written record on whether or not the enchantment protecting the Queen's Room would allow that. If people could just Transport inside, then it wasn't too much of a protective barrier - of course, Nera had gotten in and killed Queen Meliscente, so how safe was it really? Outside of the room, there are some faint sounds of a scuffle - seems that someone has gotten into a fight, so it's probably a good idea to get a move on now...
The Witch Country: November 5th, 12,508 - 10:00 PM

Fleur had defeated the Witch Queen. One of Agatha's final acts of Magyk came to an end, with her crown appearing on top of Fleur's head (add this to your possessions). It was the symbol of authority in the Witch Country, meaning that any witch she encountered was expected to bend the knee to her or be put to death - the only other option would be to challenge the Witch Queen for the title. And while she had been alone during this, a dark skinned figure emerged from behind a large boulder, seemingly coming out of nowhere.

"The crown suits you, Witch Queen," Asha the Magykal, sister of Emperor Taj of the Big Wild Land Over the Ocean, greeted. Her hair was done in traditional braids and there was a glowing amethyst necklace around her neck. Asha had been there when Queen Valda took over the Castle. Malekith had foolishly tried to attack her, resulting in his own death. "You have come a long way from Port Witch Mother," she complimented.

As to why she was there, well, Fleur wouldn't have a clue. Asha wasn't a witch. She was a wizard. Why would she go all the way to the Witch Country and why just after Fleur defeated Agatha? It didn't seem that Asha was there for a fight, as her guard looked to be down and she was not obviously armed.
Asgard: November 5th, 12,508 - 9:00 PM

The Palace Lounge...

Halley chuckled slightly as Arnora explained she never liked Loki in the stories. "I do enjoy the story where he turned into a mare and impregnated himself - it gives me a good laugh," she admitted. Her eyes lingered on Arnora for a moment before she looked away, back to strict business. She had her sword, Alfina, with her - it helped her to channel her powers, returned to her hand, and could shift form to be the weapon must suited to her purposes. It was more or less always a sword, though.

"Our mission is to recover the Tesseract and bring the thief to Asgard to face justice," Halley clarified. "Fleur isn't our concern." She then glanced at Cuyler as he came in, tossing a sword to Arnora and his dog, Thea, was following after him. She smiled a bit at the dog, remembering all of the pets her sister, Astrid, kept. It had driven their parents nuts. "We're going to the Castle," she told Cuyler. There was little sense in waiting around, so she started to walk from the Palace Lounge to the BiFrost, hoping that Heimdall would be ready to send them to Midgard.

Myth and Bruce's Home...

Runa nodded, looking at Myth and there was a slight blush to her cheeks. "Forgive me, it has been a while since I lived on Midgard," she apologized. Some things were common knowledge to Asgardians but had more or less faded into obscurity on Midgard. Waving her hand slightly, a holographic image of a blue cube appeared in front of them. "The Tesseract refers to one of the six infinity stones - I believe they are called the ΠΈΠ½Ρ„ΠΈΠ½ΠΈΡ‚ΠΈ стонСс on Midgard now. Each of these stones represents an element of existence: time, reality, space, power, mind, and soul. When used in harmony, the user becomes omnipotent... and all powerful, rivaling the power of a billion suns."

She paused for a moment, letting all of this sink in. "The Tesseract is just another name for what the Midgardians call the спацС стонС - the Space Stone. As you can surmise, the Tesseract allows the user to alter space at will. Now as for the Time Stone, yes, it allows the user to control time, violating key laws of reality and physics..." She trailed off, glancing at her son with the mention of the witch. Runa didn't know about Fleur having control over the stone. Bruce would have to answer that question.

"You two do not have to help. The information on this witch would be appreciated. But... I already know better than to talk you out of anything, Myth," Runa commented with an amused smile. "If you head to the BiFrost, you should be able to meet up with Arnora, Cuyler, and Halley - they are going to Midgard in an attempt to locate the Tesseract. Perhaps you can reclaim the Time Stone as well... I can watch my grandson."
