Guin Stark

Location: Stark Tower - New York City, New York (Outfit)
Skills: Telepathy
Guin let out a bit of a huffy breath. She didn't want to let Allison have the last word in the argument but this was going nowhere. Allison wasn't going to admit that there was a chance that she wasn't completely in the right. Guin didn't need superhuman intelligence in order to figure that one out. Once they had found the others, they could figure out who had done this, stop them from doing it again, and then take a vote as to whether or not to restore the world to how it had been before. And while Allison was so certain that there was no decision to be made, that she was in the right, Guin was equally confident that the others would at least be conflicted. Besides, if they had a chance to change the world, why change it back to that horrible one? Why not try to improve upon this one, to finally get it right?

The drive back to the Palace was relatively quick and thankfully, they didn't have problems getting inside. It helped that Guin more or less lived there, spending most of her evenings in the Palace rather than her room back at Stark Tower. "Give me a moment, I'm locating them," she told Allison, before using her telepathy to search the Palace for Carolina and Annie. "They're in the infirmary," she said after a moment, before heading that way. Entering the room, she saw Queen Miranda on the bed, with Annie, Carolina, and Prince Flynn being there as well. She didn't know at first if her future brother-in-law could be trusted with this information, yet after a moment's thought, she felt that she could trust him. He was always the nicest of Magneto's children.

"We have a situation - one that needs to stay between us five."

Casper Theriot

Location: LeBeau Casino - New Orleans, Louisiana
Skills: Mediumship
"Okay, so either she's crazy or has the attention span of... well, you," Ben commented, glancing at Bobbi as she came out of the near trance state she had been in. Casper flipped the bird at him, a bit annoyed with his ghostly friend's comparison of him. "I know you think I have ADHD, Bennie, but I don't. Dad had me tested!" he complained.

"By himself, you mean. Your clearly not slightly deranged father tested you... Oh, that just fills me with confidence over the results."

Casper did slightly wish that Anastasia had taken Bobbi's actions on video. It would have been something amusing to replay, but there were still a lot of problems and all to sort out. His brother hadn't come back yet from checking on the kidnapping victim - though Casper guessed that in this weird world he found himself in, maybe Jack really did have a child? He didn't like what Anastasia said next very much though. He couldn't imagine what would happen if someone like her got her hands on an Infinity Stone. "No offense, but I'm pretty sure the last thing the world needs is for you to get an Infinity Stone, Captain Psychopath!" he snapped at Anastasia. "Can we have a mutiny? I'd like to file for a mutiny if Gambit decides to be dumb."

"Um, it's not like getting a divorce - you can't just file for a mutiny..." Ben commented.

"Fine, then I DECLARE a mutiny, is that better?"

"... I guess?" Ben shrugged. "Hold up, psycho is back!"

Casper's head then swiveled almost comically as he spotted Chrysi leaning up against the wall with the knife. He gulped slightly, not really wanting to be her second victim of the day - and he imagined she wouldn't miss this time and just put him into a coma. Ginger's ghost was more or less background noise for him at the moment, since he had been busy arguing with Ben about things and trying to convince these people to not go after an Infinity Stone. "Hey so um... MURDERER OVER THERE!" he shouted, pointing at Chrysi and hoping one of the badass women in the room would deal with her.

"Attempted murderer, she isn't dead yet," Ben corrected.

Dominika Novikova and Runa Blake

Location: Outside the Quinjet / Inside the Banner Residence - Sydney, Australia
Skills: Eldritch Magic
Runa had yet to return to the others outside of the Banner home, taking a moment to think. She started by focusing on memories of this world, before something came to her. She had a cousin that had connections to the Human Resistance here. Focusing on that more, she realized it was her cousin Klara from the real world. She had grown up with her like sisters, with Klara always taking care of her and helping her get back up after falling down. Maybe she would know what to do.

With her sling ring on her fingers, Runa tried to imagine the Human Resistance headquarters where Klara was, tracing a circle in front of her as she concentrated. There were sparks in front of her and eventually, a slight window of sorts appeared, allowing her to see Klara. She looked different than she was used to seeing her - sadder. It broke Runa's heart to know that while her pain had been taken away, Klara gained it. More information drifted through her mind - the death of her cousin's father. "Klara, I need your help... We were attacked by the Red Guard... I don't know what to do..."

Meanwhile, Novikova was a bit annoyed that Abercrombie said it could have been a change in the timeline or another universe - she was positive that someone had just altered reality. They weren't in another reality of the multiverse. This was their main reality. It was the only thing that made sense as to why she remembered both. However, she couldn't fault an Operations agent for not being the most up to date and clear minded on the intricacies of quantum physics. Everything that had happened because of the Quantum Realm was child's play compared to this mess.

It was Abercrombie's call when it came to the deal with Banner. However, Novikova's thoughts had now moved to the prisoners they had more or less on the ship. "We need to ditch the prisoners somewhere. The longer they're with us, the more of a liability they are," Novikova recommended. "The Red Guard is ruthless... They aren't going to just turn a blind eye to us throwing a mutiny and taking them out. Either we kill them or we ditch them and run." Mystique and James were bad people - she didn't know about Sapphire and Diggby, but she figured odds were, they'd deserve it if they died.

Beatrice Decker

Location: Quarantine (Briefing)
Skills: N/A

Beatrice mouthed PDA at Thalia once they were in briefing and Thana shared a kiss with Ash. She knew it was obnoxious of her to do so, but it was more or less what her default move was - to be a bit bitchy. She still didn't know what exactly had happened with Thana, whether or not they had been abandoned or if Thana had been brutally injured and almost died without them (as would line up with her face). Gunny walked into the room and started to enlighten them, with Beatrice paying close attention. This was the story she had wondered about from time to time - the one that would settle in concrete her opinion of Thana. She figured that Roamers was the terminology they used for the undead here, given context clues.

The story that they were told... Beatrice didn't doubt its accuracy. This was a military camp. They were being told everything that went down like some sort of after action report - and it was all about the facts, no attempts to make someone out into being a hero. Beatrice clenched and unclenched her hands. This was a lot of information to process, but it answered the question in the back of her mind - Thana hadn't abandoned them. She hadn't been the coward that couldn't admit wanting to bail when things got hard. She ran her finger around the rim of the can of O's. Her hand clenched again as she was shown the images of Thana's injuries.

"Thank you," Beatrice said quietly, her gaze and words directed at Thana.

Jack Newnan

Location: Quarantine (W: Conference Room)
Skills: N/A

Jack nodded in agreement with Tatiana's assessment. Whatever had happened to Thana, the toll it took on her body at least was apparent. And with some people (read: Wayne) around, having it be a private affair was probably for the best. They just didn't have space in the bookshelf fort for all of them to have a private conversation at once. His mind was taken off of that train of thought though as Tatiana brushed up against him and he gave her a large grin, looking at his amazing wife. The stability of being in Quarantine had been nice. He was still worried about her and that would never change, but they were safe from the walkers in here - at least for now. Jamie was getting to play with toys and crawl around and have a stable source of food. It was the most normal they had had since Newnan.

"How could I evah fohget it?" Jack asked his wife. He caught her gaze going down to her wedding band and it gave him a thought. There were a few less people in the room at the moment, meaning that there was no space to move. And they hadn't ever really gotten much of a honeymoon or an anniversary dinner or anything since their wedding, so... He quickly glanced at Jamie, hoping that their son wouldn't wonder off for at least a moment or two, as Jack held out his hand. "Tatiana Newnan, my nightingale... Would ya do me the honohr of havin' this dance?" he asked.

Cecily Ashworth

Location: The Asylum - Inside
Skills: Cool Headedness, Deduction

Cecily rolled her eyes slightly as Roy called her Dad, since there was no way she was old enough to be his father - but she had called him a woman, so the rules of logic weren't really applying here (unless Roy had a confession to make). Her nerves thankfully weren't too rattled as they entered the Asylum and she blinked rapidly, trying to clear the haze in her vision. Maybe this was her body trying to tell her to go back to a normal routine and take better care of herself? Or was this about to be their superhero origin story Γ  la Daredevil, with the dust or whatever had gotten in their eyes blinding them? "Same, my eyes are definitely not wanting to work right now... So that's fantastic timing."

However, with the appearance of the Asylum... Cecily was getting an even worse feeling about this entire situation. She had read enough comic books to know that abandoned, creepy locations usually ended up being hideouts for the big bad of the issue. Whatever Riley and Priya were doing here, it was no good. She took another breath, staying calm and cool despite everything around her that was primed to send her into a full on panic mode and flee for the door. "... Let's find our people and get the hell out of here, yeah?" she suggested. As much as a small part of her wanted to go all CSI on this place, she cared more about getting their friends to safety and regrouping. There was strength in numbers - and she trusted Riley and Roy at least.

Leda Storm

Location: Camp Half-Blood

Leda clapped her hands a bit sarcastically, sitting at the Iris Table with nine of her brothers and sisters. They were evenly split - she had four sisters here and five brothers. Her sister, Tammy, was the Head Counselor and Leda glanced over at her for a moment. It was a bit disappointing that they hadn't gained any siblings but on the flip side, it meant that they didn't need to reconfigure the cabin space to account for them. Still though, part of her wondered if the little kids sleeping in the Zeus and Hades Cabins oughtn't to be placed with the Hermes campers for now - they seemed way too young to be left to their own devices.

"Gonna go flirt, don't plan anarchy without me," she told one of her brothers quietly enough that no one else could hear. She then got up and walked over to the Poseidon Table, bringing her plate and goblet along with her, and she sat down next to Kiera. Leda took a bite into her food, before smirking a bit at the daughter of Poseidon. "Pardon the pun - but you seem a bit like you're in a fishbowl at the moment, thought you could use some company." There was no strict rule as far as Leda knew that said tables couldn't be switched at dinner. If Chiron got on her case about it though, he could bloody well fight her.

John Watts

Location: Serval Industries Engineering Lab
Skills: Parenting and Perception
Watts' eyes flickered over to Belladonna as she came into the lab, took a cupcake, and sat down with her book. "Don't touch anything," he warned her. He didn't like people messing around with things in the lab, but as long as Belladonna was quiet and didn't touch his things - she could touch Andrew's work, he didn't care - then that was fine with him. His eyes returned to Andrew, able to discern that he had hit a nerve. It was probably tied to Andrew's lack of a real father figure. Watts didn't sign up to be the parent of the team, however, so he let Andrew go without much of a fuss. If Andrew wanted to go throw a temper tantrum, someone else could go deal with it. He had dealt with enough screaming babies for one lifetime.

However, it seemed that the interruptions weren't going to cease. The intercom crackled to life, telling the team that they needed to report to the main briefing room. Watts never understood why it was called that. They never went anywhere else for briefing - so why add on the redundancy of calling it the main location for that? "Come on, I need to lock up the lab before we head out," Watts told Belladonna. He didn't want to leave their ideas and work unguarded. The regular employees worked in a different lab - Watts begrudgingly shared this one with Andrew.

While Titian was correct that the people of the house hadn't killed anyone yet, they have been more or less threatened with death on a regular basis since they arrived. The threat of violence loomed in the background constantly, which was understandable with the revelation that the Lord of the Manor supposedly had not been the one to send out the invitations. Before his death, he had even praised whoever had killed Kindle for giving him one less mouth to feed. She had to wonder if with the regime change inevitably following his death, would that attitude be held by whoever replaced him? Her eyes followed Titian as he propped himself up against the wall near the door. It gave her a slight idea. Penance's flattery of Titian made her want to gag.

At the mention of the list, Walnut's thoughts turned slightly towards Amaranthine. She wasn't going to ask Blush to confirm that her own name had been present. But Amaranthine? Oh, she hated the woman and she knew her real name. With the agreement to share information in mind and an equal amount of spite, Walnut glanced at Blush once more. "Was there a Diva Miranda Manchester on the list?" Walnut asked. "That is the real name of the Chanteuse Amaranthine." She then paused, thinking on Swamp as she looked at Rave again. "If none of us have the title of doctor, then I think Swamp is more and more likely to be the guilty party. He attacked Plum in cold blood, killing a defenseless and pitiful man. He claims to be a doctor but is nothing of the sort. I would not be surprised if he orchestrated the death of the woman earlier with the chairs... And perhaps he is somehow involved in the Lord's demise. A crafty individual like Swamp seems to operate from the shadows, pulling strings... and when I refused to let him murder an innocent, he has attempted to discredit me as mad."

Gene Benaszewski & Nora Kingston

Location: Athribis
Skills: Pattern Analysis, Cryptography, Mathematics, Decipher hieroglyphics, Acute Observation
"I am certain," Nora replied to Mahendra, as he asked if she was certain. She had faith in her calculations and her analysis. He then once again brought up the idea that she could have been onto something, but to be careful. Her thoughts flickered back to Josephine briefly and the advice she had given her. Would Mahendra have been saying the same sort of things to her now if she were a man? Why caution her? She wasn't the one who had jumped into the void. She was being careful and methodical as she always was. It irritated her slightly. Less than a week ago, she would have resigned this as just being a part of the world, another reason to retreat and to not put herself out there. Now, her eyes flickered towards Mahendra and she returned to what she was doing, filled with determination instead of reluctance.

Gene didn't really see anything in the void, but the echoes on her voice seemed premature. "Maybe there's a bunch of birds down there," she mused, though she doubted anyone else would get her thought process there. "Are you afraid of birds?" she asked Lauren, peering up at her. She recalled the way the fog had risen up and she was confident that Belladonna was fine, even though she hadn't been able to hear her. It would take more than a little fall to kill her - though the same probably couldn't be said for the Lord Major. He seemed exceptionally fragile and dumb. His laughter was a bit grating. "You are welcome, Old Man," she responded.

The group's mathematician was examining the circular tile, pressing slightly tiles 17 and 28. As the numbers moved, there was another click that reminded her of the one from before and she braced herself for a plunge into the void. The shaking of the wall didn't help her nerves and even Gene looked a bit nervous, given that there wasn't really anything around to hold onto if they were about to fall to their doom. Maybe they'd all get lucky and get caught from their underwear? Nora's shoulders relaxed, the tension vanishing from them as the wall lifted upwards, revealing a hallway that they could continue to venture down. "Thank you," she said, accepting Mahendra's praise this time. "As for these markings... I imagine they will. Whether it be fate or just coincidence... Wherever this group travels, there seems to be a connection to the larger puzzle."

Gene's eyes lit up with excitement as the wall came down. Now THIS was a vacation! This was what she had come here for! A secret puzzle that could be solved by this Lady Kingston, followed up with a wall moving and bringing them closer to the unknown? It was positively tantalizing. Gene adored not knowing what came next. So many people back home would pester her to see what was ahead, but it sometimes could take away a bit of the fun, always knowing what was going to happen. She adored the mystery and the allure of the unknown.

Virginia Crypt

Location: Gretna Green
Skills: Deduction

As Virginia was heading in the direction she saw the horses coming from, she stopped for a moment as Ny made a comment about the circus being in town. How had the Russian Circus managed to travel this distance to Gretna Green and arrive what felt like moments after them? Had they experienced some sort of anomaly as well? Her mind was racing as she spotted Vlad, trying to understand what could have happened. It seemed that he had spotted them as well, from the larger than life personality's shouts and exclamations directed at them. As he called her a wolf, however, Virginia's eyes narrowed ever so slightly. Was it just a coincidence or could... could Bazhooli have been behind the wolf carcass sent to threaten her brother?

Her expression softened, hearing that one of the Circus' people had died. "Great Bazhooli... I regret to tell you this, but your comrade is not the only one who went to begin the next adventure. I am so sorry for your loss," she said softly. "Dame Mary Hale perished fighting the Soulless along the way... and I must ask... Is the Grand Duchess well? Last I saw her, she had been spirited away by some creature and... Well, it seemed that she was likely dead." Virginia studied Bazhooli for a moment. She felt her was telling the truth about Elizaveta, though she wanted to make sure that the Grand Duchess was alright. So much had happened to their initial trio that she felt it was her duty to make sure.

Maeve Brennan

Location: House Kirkpatrick - the Parlor -> hunting down the butler!
Skills: Deception

Maeve nodded, standing from where she had been seated. "Aye, m'lady," she told her. She hadn't been able to pick up any flaws in Colette's logic or what she had been outwardly saying, so it seemed that perhaps she was being genuine. If Colette really was just a naive and innocent, sheltered daughter of a peer, then her job would be all the more easier. She didn't doubt though that there could be something more sinister hiding behind that pretty face. She gave a nod to Colette as her thanks, Maeve's hand running along the brim of the letter for a moment.

"I'll be back in a moment an' once de carriage is ready, we can depart, miss," she told Colette, before she headed off to track down the butler. Once she found him, she asked for him to prepare the carriage for departure immediately, as well as handing off the letter for him to mail - she stressed that it was important too. She didn't want to have the letter get lost by the post or forgotten about by the butler, since Lady Kirkpatrick had a personal stake in how events would turn out. "Thank ye," she said, having finished telling the butler what exactly she needed.

Present Day - The Castle: November 5th, 12,508 - 8:10 PM

The Queen's Room...

Once they were all inside of the Queen's Room, the ghost of Queen Meliscente Appeared. She had the same vibrant ginger hair as her daughters, though her mannerisms and demeanor were far more similar to Luna's than Valda's. That much was to be expected of course - Luna had been raised in court like her mother had been, while Valda had been brought up in the Forest by the Wendron Witches. "Valda, it is not appropriate to bring men into this place," Queen Meliscente chided. "Your brother would be one thing but these... these servants?! They're beneath you. And what would people think, knowing the company you keep?"

Whether or not Ahote would be permitted to leave the room would ultimately be up to Titan, as he was guarding the only exit they knew about with a sword. Princess Luna would notice a slight draft in the room, but it wasn't coming from the door. No one else would, so maybe it's just a hallucination... But what could the draft be? Valda and Titan would have their eyes drawn to the Unstable Potions and Partikular Poisons cupboard. It had been there since before even Valda and Luna's grandmother could remember.

Antonije, Myrus, and Violet

Location: the Palace Grounds (G10, P7, 8L)
Skills: Telepathy, Running, Arson, Trivia Knowledge, ExtraOrdinary Magyk, Charms and Spells

With Nyx's spinal cord severed, the vampire was having a few problems with walking. One of his feet seemed to drag slightly, but that didn't stop the creature from continuing to attack Sylvi. In an awkward forward tumble, Nyx clasped onto Sylvi with his hands and continued to tip forward. His teeth sank into the skin on her upper shoulder and he was about to begin to drain her of her blood, when there was a resounding scream inside of his head. "NO!!!!!!!!!!!"

Antonije covered the distance between them in a split second, pulling his Fyre-Making Charm from his pocket and he shouted the incantation, lobbing it at the vampire. Nyx was set ablaze and let go of his grip on Sylvi, allowing Antonije to pull her away to safety as Nyx screamed in pain. He didn't know why, but the Magykal Fyre caused the vampire to crumble into ashes, only the fangs remaining on the ground a moment later. "Sylvi? Are you okay?" Antonije asked her softly, using his telepathy to speak directly into her mind. "I think a vampire bit you..."

Being carried by Lennox, Myrus was getting a pretty good view of all of the destruction going on. The Palace Guard had managed to get the civilians mostly clear, though there were still two pockets of them left at the Palace Grounds. There were dead guards on the grass as well, with only three of them left alive besides Amarantha and Lennox. "Th-there!" Myrus exclaimed, seeing Erasmus right in front of them. The vampire bared his fangs and hissed at Lennox.

"I see you have delivered me a meal - thanks!" the creature taunted, pulling two back handed swords and sliding into a fighting stance. He wasn't close enough to strike Lennox yet and was more or less daring the guard to move forward. Moving backwards would put Lennox's precious cargo closer to the heart of all of this violence and chaos.

As for Amarantha, she succeeded in dislocating Oliver's shoulder, but as she went in to sever his elbow joint, the vampire grabbed onto her tightly and used her momentum to bring them both to the ground. Amarantha was on top of the creature, his mouth stained with her blood and he grinned up at her. "You're one of us now, so stop fighting," Oliver boasted. The bite mark on Amarantha's neck was completely gone, as if it had never been there. Her senses were heightened, as was her strength, and there would be an immense pain in her mouth - pain like she had rarely ever felt before. Coupled to that pain was a sense of hunger and need - a sense of bloodlust.

Close to the boat launch, the last member of the Palace Guard attempting to protect the civilians there was slain. Julien had drained him entirely of blood, letting the pale corpse drop at his feet. "This was too easy a job," he commented to his friend, Nicolai. The other vampire nodded in agreement. "I don't care though, we're getting paid to do this."

There was a mist of purple as someone Transported to the area. Wearing a black cloak, the hood covered the figure's face, though purple-yellow eyes peaked out from underneath the brim. "You have failed the Castle," Violet, one of two famous vigilantes active in the Small Wet Country Across the Sea, warned the vampires. The air was thick around the woman as she took a breath, feeling the Magyk pumping through her veins.

Punish them... a voice whispered in her mind. They have failed the Castle... Kill them... Burn them... Destroy them all...

The purple Magykal aura around her became Darke. "Melt," she cast, pointing at the two creatures. Slowly, the vampires became warmer and warmer, until it was so hot that their skin started to ripple. Their blood was boiling and their eyes turned to puddles, dripping down their face as they then sagged to the ground. The vampires clothing mixed with the melted flesh, coated with blood and muscle and gut, until there was just a pile of liquified monsters and shiny white skeletons remaining.
The Witch Country: November 5th, 12,508 - 10:10 PM

Asha brushed off Fleur's comment about the guard, since she didn't have any guards there with her. She figured that it was a veiled way to refer to the power source she wore around her neck, the jewel that guided her Magyk and granted Asha the position of the most powerful wizard on the planet. "If I was here to kill you, you would know it," Asha answered. She was confident that she would be able to kill Fleur if needed, but she doubted it. The woman was not the most conventional force of good in the world, but she had heard that Fleur helped to save the Castle six months ago from Chthon, the elder god of chaos.

"I am here to instruct you of the path you walk on - as a holder of an ΠΈΠ½Ρ„ΠΈΠ½ΠΈΡ‚ΠΈ стонС," she explained. "As long as we speak soon, that is no problem. It is not too long a distance to return to my country," she winked slightly. Asha must have figured out some way to travel across the world instantaneously, something that not even a Transport could accomplish. Magyk had limits on distances that could be traveled, with even the Badlands barely being in range of the Castle. To travel across continents... Asha must have discovered something huge.

Asha stepped aside, allowing Fleur to walk down the mountain. "After you, Witch Queen."
Asgard: November 5th, 12,508 - 9:10 PM

The BifrΓΆst...

"A lot can change in six months," Halley commented, taking Cuyler's advice with a grain of salt. Heimdall hadn't been able to see Loki, and supposedly, no one in the Nine Realms was supposed to be blocked from Heimdall's sight. The difficulties Runa and Klara had had in tracking Loki - or whoever had stolen the Tesseract - didn't bode well for this just being as simple as going to Snake Slipway and knocking on doors. "And don't forget, Loki can disguise himself to look like anyone," Halley reminded him. "He could even look like you."

The trio didn't take too long, leaving the Palace and then heading across the Rainbow Bridge. Heimdall was there at the end, holding his sword at attention and he bowed his head slightly, greeting the demigods.

"Princess Halley," Heimdall greeted. "Master Cuyler and Mistress Arnora... The All-Mother informed me that you would need to travel by BifrΓΆst. Do note that if you are in mortal peril and wish to open the BifrΓΆst, if I judge that doing so would endanger Asgard and the Nine Realms, you will be left to die."

"Of course," Halley responded. "We need to travel to the Castle of the Small Wet Country, if you would open the BifrΓΆst."

Myth and Bruce's Home...

Runa shook her head at Myth, taking Halden carefully. "No one is all good or all bad," she said softly, thinking back for a moment. She had made some horrible choices in her life - evil ones, even. "As for Fleur, though... I believe that there is more good to her than most believe," she finished. She knew the bad that Fleur had done, but from what Runa could tell, it had been for her coven - her family. Wouldn't she have done the very same things, had their roles been reversed? At any rate, once Myth and Bruce are out the door, they'll want to hurry to get to the BifrΓΆst - they should be able to get there just in time this round to see Heimdall chatting with Cuyler, Arnora, and Halley.

Andromeda Aldrich

Location: Ville au Camp - Outside the Gate
Skills: N/A

Hearing that Giouse more or less had no idea what to expect as they walked away from Ville au Camp and the loop closed wasn't doing much to help Andromeda's nerves. She had a slight temptation to ask him why his abilities were only able to impact space, when at least in her time, space and time were inherently linked concepts. But she knew better than to argue with an Emendator over that, at the very least - they had bigger things to worry about and to occupy their minds with than the finer points of physics and astronomy. Gilbert at the very least was proposing a plan of action - going to scavenge through the 'remains' of the loop once it was safe to reenter.

At James' slight softening, Andromeda nodded slightly. "I know - I was just teasing you back," she clarified. She then nodded again as he asked again about the superhero teams. "Yeah, actual teams. Did you guys have that huge thing in New York?" she prefaced. "After that, they kinda started popping up all around... Of course the government tried to keep people from knowing about the real spooky stuff, like demons and ghosts and vampires and all, but they had a harder time after Altsoba to really keep that up.... That's when the devil tried to end the world, ended up just killing a small town's population in Washington... My uh... my half-brother was the one who summoned him."

"But on the team subject - the Avengers are a pretty big deal. O.M.E.N. kinda leaves them alone, but honestly I think it's just because of the money the team has backing them..."
