Walnut was searching the bed slowly and methodically with her hands, despite the lack of sight. She heard another speaking near her about having reached it and she was slightly annoyed at that. She preferred to search this individually, as to eliminate the chances of them running into each other - and she did not know if she could trust any of these people in the dark. Sure, none of them were Swamp or Amaranthine or Titian, but still, she hardly knew them. She would work with them, but she did not fancy the idea of touching one of them by accident in the total blackness they were stuck in.

However, during her search of the bed she felt the metal cross sections on it. She heard someone was over by the door as well. "I believe if we ply off one of the metal cross sections, we can use it to pry open the door," Walnut explained. "The gentleman near me - can you feel the cross sections with your hands? Between the two of us, perhaps we can get one of them off," she suggested. Working together and hopefully in unison would make fast work of this, or at least, so she hoped. There was a chance that the voice near the door would manage to open it, but with the sort of characters running around this place, having some metal at their disposal may very well save their lives.

Susan thought for a moment, before looking over at Cass, "You have season manipulation as power right? Speedsters can't deal with the cold, so why not just make it freezing cold and in the middle of winter?"

Doctor Strange's lips quirked upwards slightly as he considered whether or not he had any ice spells at his disposal that could be used against Luminous. "Any magic I use, she can easily counter - she has the abilities of the Scarlet Witch." However, he did know a few ice spells. Perhaps he could at least weaken Luminous slightly if the others could keep her distracted. Susan's mention that Cass had powers over season manipulation was welcome to hear. "Together, let's bring winter," he told her with a nod. "Between the two of us, we might be able to keep her down enough for the others to capture and contain her."

Shuri crouched into a fighting stance, her weapons at the ready. She knew that they would most likely just phase Luminous, but she was going to be ready for anything. The speedster might not be the only villain they'd run into, after all. "You - Wakanda is a valley of technology. Perhaps you can control something to help," she told Agent Carter, since he seemed a bit lost and unsure of himself.

"The problem with a speedster is that setting off a siren would only distract her for a second," Bonnie told Roman with a grimace. She remembered that the X-Men in their fights against Quicksilver typically had to trick or outsmart him - which wasn't particularly challenging. He certainly hadn't been as bright as his sister. Of course, Luminous was cunning and cruel. She didn't need to take cues from Magneto or the Scarlet Witch when it came to destruction.

There was still the telltale blur of a speedster running over by the walls, but their luck had finally run out. Whether they had just been too loud, Luminous had seen them before the invisibility took over, or that she reached out with her magic to sense their arrival really wasn't clear. However, Niah's vision will cloud and she will become trapped in a waking nightmare. In this place, she can see her brother and sister walking in the middle of a busy road, only to be hit by a semi-truck carrying chemicals. The chemicals spill everywhere, mixing with their blood but they aren't dead. Not yet.

"Niah?" Shuri called out softly, noticing that Niah's eyes had clouded over and were now a silver color.

Bonnie then noticed it too and she bit her lip. She didn't know how to snap someone out of one of these trances. Whatever Niah was seeing, it was her worse fear most likely - that tended to be Luminous' M.O. with these sort of things. "You guys take care of Luminous, I'll get Niah out of this."

Serval Industries - Virginia: July 15th, 2021 - 8:10 P.M.

Raynor didn't stop to think that getting into an elevator was potentially a bad idea. Hackers had murdered people via elevator all of the time before Ultron's uprising. They could easily be walking into a trap right now. Of course, with a Morlock in the lobby area of the former Serval Headquarters, maybe the elevator really is safe. Not everyone is a twelfth level intellect after all - some are just a first level and then some. The Scarlet Witch was fine with getting in the elevator, namely since she could use her powers to stabilize it just in case someone did try to murder them.

"Dominion, I repeat - we got hostiles up here," Captain Marvel's voice said again, as Tinley hadn't acknowledged her. On the positive side, Sunshine seemed to have gone to sleep, the green cloud dispersing after they went into the elevator as the girl died.

"Morlock or not, you can't do anything for her," Wanda told Flynn bluntly. Raynor had crossed his arms and fallen silent, putting two and two together. The girl that had died in the lobby had been the one to kill Sparky. He cast his eyes downwards slightly, wishing she was alive so that way he could go out and throttle her. Unfortunately, the elevator doors closed once everyone was inside before he could get the chance to go brutalize the corpse and Wanda pressed the button for the eighth floor.

Once they had reached the sixth floor, the elevator stopped all of the sudden. There was a soft whine as the power was cut, followed by a large banging - as if something had landed on top of the elevator. The roof was torn off in a moment and Raynor had his fists ready with glowing balls of light, just waiting for something to appear that he could fry. There were three robots, each of them made in Ultron's likeness but none of them were the monstrous robot itself.

"Fuck," Raynor cursed. They were in a confined space and there wasn't really that much room to move around. The elevator doors hadn't opened and with the power cut, they'd have to pry the doors open in order to get an escape route. With the Ultron bots coming at them from above, it would be like shooting fish in a barrel to kill the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.

"I thought heroes didn't swear," Wanda teased, trying to get a telekinetic grip on one of the robots but she just couldn't get one. It was like trying to grab a wet bar of soap - the robot just kept slipping from her grip.

"Surrender or be destroyed," the robots said in unison.

Beatrice Decker

Location: Quarantine (Conference)
Skills: N/A

Beatrice found herself walking over to where Thalia was without even really realizing it. As much as she told herself she wanted to be alone and have some solitude, perhaps that wasn't really the case. "Think they'll mind if we spar?" she asked her friend. She doubted that the guards would care - they hadn't done much when Tatiana decked Ash after all. And unlike in that scenario, this would just be a friendly match between... well, whatever the hell they were to each other. She admired Thalia's form as she was doing the pushups, her eyes briefly drifting over her butt before returning to her face. "If you win, you get the O's," Beatrice added, producing the can that Thana have given her in the conference room to make things a little more interesting.

She waited to see what Thalia would offer if Beatrice won the competition. Of course, this was all assuming that Thalia was up for a spar. She very well could be turned down and then, well, Beatrice wasn't sure what she would entertain herself with. She could always go over to where people were watching a movie with the little kid, but she didn't really like children. The last child she had felt a slight connection to had been essentially a walking case of asthma back at Newnan. Though she had to wonder if Tatiana and Jack were going to share their clearly legendary genes with the world again and produce another kid. If they kept it up, they could repopulate the South, one kid at a time.

Jack Newnan

Location: Quarantine (W: Conference Room)
Skills: N/A

Jack wasn't ashamed of his emotions. He never wanted to become that type of person who had to strengthen his masculinity by pretending to be unaffected by the world around him. He took the paper towel from Tatiana and dried his eyes, the tears having mostly stopped by now. While some people weren't as swayed as much by hearing all of that, he had been able to live a bit in denial until they received that information. He could imagine in the back of his head a happy ending for all of those who were no longer with them, but there weren't happy endings here. Well, at least, there weren't too many of them to go around - this new settlement seemed to be the closest thing to a happy ending they would get.

"We can intraduce Jamie to the rest of his family," Jack told Tatiana quietly, referring to those buried here at Camp Mexico Beach. He took another breath, managing to pull himself together and he glanced over at his son, seeing that Jamie seemed to be having fun with the people here. Jack couldn't help but smile. Maybe they had lost their Newnan family, but here was another community that they could potentially join. He could see himself and Tatiana growing old here, with Jamie growing up and having as normal a childhood as possible. Maybe Ash and Thana would have a kid of their own - and hell, he didn't know where it came from but he got the mental image of their kids growing old and marrying each other. It made him laugh a little bit. "So uh... Where were we with that dance?" he then asked.

Guin Stark

Location: The Palace - New York City, New York (Outfit)
Skills: Telepathy
"Pro tip - maybe don't start accusing the Queen of things when she's in the room and in a coma. Some studies show that coma patients can actually hear what's going on around them," Guin warned a bit sarcastically. Thinking through trains of thought like these in the Palace wasn't the best idea in general of course. Sure, she was the only telepath really present here, but she wouldn't be surprised if King Erik had a telepath or two on retainer - meaning that even just thinking along these lines could be dangerous. Allison didn't know what King Erik did to those he found guilty of maiestas - treason. This blonde girl - Annie - she should know better. Executions for treason happened just about once a week, if not more frequently. She didn't want to end up being this week's execution, especially as King Erik usually had his sons perform them. Having Pietro rip out her heart... She didn't want to think about that.

Allison had ignored her suggestion - typical. It certainly wasn't like pinpointing the massive energy spike would both support Allison's claim and get them a geographic point of reference for where this event happened, allowing them to gather a list of suspects. Nope, nothing like that at all. The other blonde, the one caring for the Queen, then also decided to risk being overheard for treason. Discussing alternate realities wouldn't get them executed - but suggesting that the King had done something malevolent to get the throne? That very well could. Concentrating for a moment, she used her telepathy and constructed psionic shields in the minds of those present. It would keep telepaths from eavesdropping on their thoughts at least, helping reduce the chances of someone finding out these accusations. She couldn't help the verbal conversation, but hey, that was on them.

"I just placed psionic shields in your minds. It'll keep telepaths from hearing your thoughts on all of this. However, try not to be stupid and don't discuss this in public places," she cautioned. She then glanced at her future brother in law. "You guys can go investigate. I work better alone with some AC/DC blasting."

Casper Theriot

Location: LeBeau Casino - New Orleans, Louisiana
Skills: Mediumship
Casper's favorite color was pink, so he had no problem with the fluffy earmuffs. In fact, he liked them. He had tried using earmuffs and music to block out the ghosts before, but it only really got rid of the sound. The Ginger's voice was muffled by them, but he could still hear her talking. Her apology didn't really strike him as sincere so he more or less waved it off with his hand. People didn't really mean they were sorry when there was a just in that sentence. Captain Hammer at least was being nice to him, trying her best to calm him down. He wished they were friends in the real world - she looked like someone he could party with. Of course, there was also a good chance she might sleep with his brother, but that was true of most of Casper's friends.

His brother came over and asked if he was okay. "Oh I'm great, sunshine," he told his brother with a slight smile. He could still see the ghosts everywhere, but the noises had quieted down to a dull roar from the earmuffs. Ben was staying silent, most likely to not contribute to the sensory overload Casper had been experiencing. He took a few deep breaths, finally paying a bit of attention to what was going on. It seemed that Gambit had chickened out of killing the psychopath - and Casper was disappointed, since he was pretty sure it just meant the crazy girl would try to kill them all later. At least as a ghost, he could get rid of her with some cocaine.

Oh, he missed cocaine... "Where's, uh, where's your kidnapping victim?" he asked his brother, trying to turn the conversation away from him.

Dominika Novikova and Runa Blake

Location: Outside the Quinjet - Sydney, Australia / Human Resistance HQ - New York
Skills: Eldritch Magic, Dimensional Energy Perception
Novikova disarmed as well, though she kept her glasses on. She didn't want to see all of the alternate lives of these people. As cool a power as dimensional energy perception was, it could give her horrible migraines if she used it too often. Barton was there and she smiled slightly, seeing almost the entire team come back together. They were missing a few people though - Tempest, Bonnie, Raynor, Harry, Flynn, Roman. Sure, they had Sparky with them but she was a teenage boy here, so it was a little bit confusing. They had some extra additions and while she didn't really know Shelly, she seemed to want to help - though Novikova was suspicious as to her motives.

Runa stared for a moment, incredulous as well that they were just letting James walk off - well, with the exception of one of the agents. She was used to having a lot more magical ability than she did in this world, so she decided to push herself and try something. With one hand, she kept the portal open and with the other, she tried to do a full body bind on James. Instead, she managed to just make it so he couldn't move his legs at the moment. Abercrombie, the one gifted with mind control, didn't seem to have affected the memories of those they were leaving behind and she bit her lip slightly, her entire body trembling as she tried to keep the portal up. Sweat was flowing down her forehead and she was getting extremely irritated with everyone waiting around and not going through. It felt like it had been an hour she had had this portal open for.

"Everyone who is going through the portal - do it NOW!" Runa snapped, raising her voice. She was feeling dizzy and lightheaded. Every beat of her heart felt like it was a gigantic vibration sweeping through her body. The cool air flowing in through the portal helped slightly, but it couldn't do too much to alleviate her fatigue. "I'm using Eldritch Magic. And no, you cannot have my sling ring to take over," she told the man on the other side of the portal. The sling ring was her escape route and she didn't want to be without it for a second. She nodded a bit though at her cousin - she trusted her.

"It'll be easier if I just show you the alternate reality," Novikova conceded to Klara. She glanced at Lance. He had the same soul as her best friend - and he seemed so lost and confused. Maybe, if he remembered, things would be better... She took off her glasses and touched his arm, looking into his eyes. Within a few moments, she had restored his memories and she put his glasses back on. "How do you feel, Lance?" she asked him, not sure if he would remember being Sparky or if something even stranger was going on there... She knew that Sparky and Lance both existed in their normal reality, so the most likely answer was that somehow, one of them had come from a different universe. She just wasn't sure which one.

Novikova glanced over at Dr. Banner. Sparky didn't know that was her father - she was horrible at keeping secrets. Sparky would have mentioned it to her at some point that she was adopted and her real father was a raging green monster, right?

Guin Stark

For once in her life, Guin was very skeptical about breaking the rules. Maybe it was because they were heading towards a gamma and cosmic radiation fueled monster - or that Lance had decided it was Opposite Day and time for him to become reckless. Unlike with Hammer and all, they hadn't really had a choice at the Stark Expo. "Lance I've got a really bad feeling about this," she whispered to him. She wasn't sure what they could do against Sterns that the Avengers couldn't. And what if they just ended up getting in the way? Maybe she had decided it was opposite day too. Normally she always broke the rules.

She followed after him, trying to think up a plan but nothing was coming to mind. It was probably a sign that she could be an Avenger one day - they always did their best work after the fact and here they were, in the heat of the moment, and she couldn't think of anything. The only solution really coming to mind was to just step back and let Thor and the Hulk beat Sterns to death.

Leda Storm

Location: Camp Half-Blood - Armory

"You're not dumb - you're just new," Leda corrected Kiera. She hoped that Kiera didn't have too many self esteem issues. She wanted to flirt with this girl and maybe get a fun summer fling out of things. A lack of confidence could easily undermine her efforts to seduce her. "An Iris Message - it's kind of like FaceTime. Except it's done when my mother passes your message to and forth, letting you see and hear people in real time." She shrugged, not able to come up with a better explanation for it at the moment but she figured that was good enough.

A bit amused, Leda followed Kiera towards the magical weapons. "These weapons are magic. Give them a go, won't ya?" she suggested. "Like Harry Potter," she then added with a smirk. Some of the magic weapons just shrunk down to disguise themselves for easy transportation - Ultraviolet was like that, just with the added bonus of glowing to match Leda's mood. She didn't remember what exactly each piece of weaponry here did, but trying out the swords was the easiest and fastest way for them to figure out what Kiera picked.

Washington D.C.: September 9th, 2020 - 7:00 PM

Thunderclouds lined the sky, struggling in vain to drown out the soft yellow haze of the city lights below. From the balcony of the Hellfire Club's Headquarters, it was easy for members of the Inner Circle to feel that they were on top of the world - that they were weaving the threads of destiny, deciding who would live and who would die. The view was intoxicating and the Black Queen, Reeva Payge, took in a deep breath. She had clawed her way to the top of the Hellfire Club in order to make the world a better place for mutants - to accomplish her goal of creating a mutant homeland.

"I thought you had reservations at the Lafayette, Emma," Reeva said, still staring out into the city. There was a flash of lightning, followed by the monstrous boom of thunder a moment later.

"Sebastian had to cancel," Emma Frost, the White Queen, replied coldly. She walked up next to Reeva, holding a flash drive in her perfectly manicured hand. There was no identifying labels on it of any kind - nothing that made it apparently or obviously special.

There was a pause, as there was a whispered telepathic exchange between the two, facilitated by Emma's abilities. Reeva let out a slight sigh, her hands clenching as she accepted the flash drive from her. "Are you certain he knows?" Reeva asked, tearing her eyes away from the view in order to face her companion.

Emma nodded. "He has his suspicions - nothing definite yet."

"And the boys?" Reeva asked.

"He promised them our seats," Emma confided. "If we aren't careful, Reeva, this could be the end... Everything we have worked so hard for could be jeopardized."

"... Then we adapt to the circumstances."

Anastasia had been recalled from her mission to infiltrate the Mutant Underground and was given a new assignment. The little task force of Requiem and Jinx had been expanded to include her, making them an even odder group - the baby, the princess, and the executioner (now as to who is who, well, that's up to the trio to determine). All of the leadership of the Inner Circle was present at Hellfire Headquarters this evening - with the exception of Magneto, but that is hardly surprising.

Sage, the Three-In-One, and Fade were all out on official business. No one informed the others as to what those five's mission was, yet that was fairly typical for the Hellfire Club. The less people who knew everything, the better. Compartmentalization of information was what allowed them to stay in power for so long, having influence over the major governments and corporations in the world.

The trio hadn't come any closer to discovering who stole the sentinel from Frost International and why, sadly. Perhaps though, now that they have some downtime, they could discuss all of the information they gathered and think this puzzle through. Of course, is it wise to discuss these things with the leadership of the Hellfire Club around? The thief could be anyone in the room, after all. Well, Emma and Reeva were out on the balcony, with Shaw down in the cellar getting himself some scotch before he heads out for the evening, so they might have a spare moment to chat.

Sunshine, Casper, and Jack ended up going to the zoo about an hour or so after James had left. They spent about five hours there and by the time they got back to the tunnels, Sunshine was so tired that Erg decided they could hold off on the branding ceremony until the next day. Casper, not wanting to join the Morlocks (branding seemed like way too big of a commitment to him), had spent the night at his brother's office on the pull out couch.

Since Jack didn't trust his big brother to be alone in the office, however, Casper ended up back down in the Morlock tunnels the next evening anyways. "Jackie, I'm boooooored," Casper complained. He had his phone on him and he was checking it every few minutes, just to see if a message from a certain someone would come in.

"How long have you been sober for now?" Ben asked him, a bit amused.

"One long and painful week, Bennie..." Casper pouted. He had been waiting for his brother to get distracted with something last night, but there never had been a long enough opening for him to slip off and score some pills. He rubbed his temples slightly, having been able to keep the ghosts at bay for now but how much longer would that last? Any minute now, they could all start to appear and he felt clammy just thinking about it. His eyes darted over towards the tunnel exits. Maybe he'd get a chance soon...

Over by Erg and Blink, Sunshine was fidgeting, swinging her hands back and forth. She kept on reminding herself that she wasn't afraid of a little bit of fire. The brand would heal and then she'd have a place to belong to - she could be safe and not have to worry about Purifiers or cops or any of it ever again. Taking in a deep breath, she pulled her Yo-Yo out of her pocket and started moving it up and down, just anything to keep her hands busy.

"Are you ready, little one?" Erg asked her. He had the poker with the M shaped piece of metal in the fire at the moment, heating it up for once it was time. Sunshine was the only one getting the brand that evening, as Casper wasn't joining the Morlocks - and Erg had made it clear to Jack that while Casper could come down into the tunnels, he couldn't stay there for more than one night at a time.

Blink offered Sunshine a piece of leather. "Here, bite down on this, it'll make it easier," she told her.

Sunshine took the leather strap, a bit green in the face as she put it into her mouth and bit down. The taste of the old leather would have made most people gag - it was like cardboard dipped in sewage and then smoked for flavor. But for the newest Morlock, she was more focused on looking over at the poker that Erg was picking up, seeing the red hot glow of the metal and she shrunk back slightly in anticipation of the pain.

"Relax," Erg told her.

After Moonwalker made the calls, it turned out that there was room for the kids up at Xavier's school. They just needed to get the kids farther along in the Underground Network - ideally, the Harrisburg Cell. Sunspot and Cannonball had loaded up the kids into a van that they had in the garage and had left early that morning to take them up to Pennsylvania. Most likely, those two would spend the night there before making the return trip to Washington D.C.

Colossus (and technically Negasonic, but she spent most of the time texting) had started training Leighton at the crack of dawn - literally. For every success or failure she had, Colossus had some old Russian proverb of advice to give to her, while Negasonic just commented about the latest Twitter feuds. At one point, Negasonic had stepped out of the room to go get lunch with her girlfriend and Colossus had given Leighton a granola bar, claiming that it was important for strength. Needless to say, by the time he told her they would be taking a few hours break around four in the afternoon, Leighton was doubtlessly exhausted.

Dinner had been served at six o'clock - macaroni and cheese, with purple Kool-Aid to drink. It wasn't much, especially compared to yesterday's Dairy Queen feast, but it was something. Veil had reached out to a few members of the Underground, putting together a team to go and scout the information Glimpse had given them on Shaw and his Hound project. The team she ended up with was Glimpse, Sapphire, Tome, Havok, and herself - not bad, but Tome was an unknown element which unsettled her slightly.

"Havok, Tome, Sapphire, Glimpse - it's show time, let's hit the road," Veil called out. Her injuries looked worse than they had the day before, but they were healing as to be expected. She didn't complain about the pain or anything. She was the leader. She had to be stronger than some painfully and carefully placed bruises. Pulling her massive mane of hair back into a ponytail, the band snapped and Veil sighed slightly, before deciding not to even bother trying.

"We're all going in one car - Sapphire, can you drive?" Veil asked. That was one skill she hadn't acquired yet in her lifetime - how to drive a car. She didn't want Glimpse driving as Glimpse was new, same logic applied to Tome, and Veil had seen Havok's driving before. It was either too slow or way too fast, no in between with him.

Meanwhile, Colossus was rounding up those who were left - James, Leighton, Callie, and Cayden. "Come, we need group spar - good for Ice Queen," he told them. Negasonic flashed a smirk from her corner of the room. She had managed to persuade Colossus that her involvement wouldn't be fair, since then they would have an odd number and that would inherently advantage one side.

"Good luck, losers!" she called out.

"Negasonic," Colossus warned.

"Whatever, sorry...."

The Small Wet Country Across the Sea: November 5th, 12,508 - 9:00 PM

The Queen's Room - the Palace, the Castle...

While Ahote had no trouble when he came into contact with the Dragon Ring, the same could not be said for the glass shard. Thousands of years ago, Queen Jenna's adoptive brother Septimus Heap, one of the most famous ExtraOrdinary Wizard's, had ended up trapped in the past. He had been dragged through a similar piece of glass. His brother, Nicko, and his girlfriend Snorri ended up trapped in the past under related circumstances. Now, the glass mirror used to transport them all back in time? It ended up shattering.

Queen Jenna kept one of the shards and wrapped it away carefully, before keeping it safely hidden in the Queen's Room. Inside the Queen's Rules - a book given to the Crown Princess at the start of her Journey to prepare herself to be the next Queen of the Castle - it explicitly states to not touch the shard without gloves. An ordinary person perhaps would be fine touching it, but Ahote was not ordinary at all. He was a mutant.

Although Ahote won't know when he landed, he will know where... He's still at the Castle. He's still inside the Palace. But the Palace is in ruins. Precious heirlooms are covered in dust. It'll take him a moment to realize it, but somehow... He's traveled to the future.

And the Castle is destined to die.

The Old Port Witch Coven Home - the Port...

Fortunately for Fleur, everything was well with her coven in the Witch Country. Twenty minutes and a half a dozen Transports later saw her arrive at her old home in the Port. The house's condition clearly wasn't a priority for the local government, as there were cobwebs covering just about every surface and rats scurrying around on the ground. Nera's Year and a Day were almost up - she had a little under two months left before she would be able to leave this place and go once more where living she had trod before. Because of this, Fleur knows exactly where she will be able to find Nera - up in Malekith's bedroom.

The Keeper's Cottage - Draggen Island, the Marram Marshes...

Titan was right - they didn't have much time. The shaking became more and more powerful as the island cracked down the middle like an egg, leaving Valda separated from Luna and Titan by a large chasm. It was a deep drop and no doubt there would be Marsh Brownies and so forth at the bottom, hoping for a snack. However, the shaking didn't cease - something seemed to be coming up from the chasm and the motion would send both Valda and Luna over the edge, falling into an unknown darkness. The only thing they would be able to make out was a pair of emerald eyes.

Antonije, Myrus, and Violet

Location: the Palace Grounds ( I8, U7, P7 -> N8)
Skills: ExtraOrdinary Magyk, Charms and Spells, Telepathy

Myrus stared at Asphodel's head expectingly, still keeping the pressure of his boot on the vampire. These creatures had killed his best friend - just as life had finally gone back to something near the normal that existed prior to his mother's death. He took a deep, ragged breath and just stared, but it was clear that the vampire wasn't talking. Perhaps Asphodel needed more blood or the lack of vocal chords was finally catching up with him. "Can we torture him?" Myrus asked Lennox.

He then paled slightly. Myrus hadn't seen his sisters during this entire battle. Were they among the corpses on the battlefield? Or were they inside the Palace, maybe facing more of these monsters? His heart started pounding more and more. Had they killed Ahote? How many people that he loved would he have to bury in the days to come? "L-Lennox... Where are my sisters?" he then asked, shaking a bit.

Amarantha's words seemed to have unsettled the cloaked vigilante. Violet paused for a moment, contemplating her own failure. She didn't know about her life before she woke up - before she came to in that cold and lonely place. "...If Arya failed the Castle, it is fortune that I am not her," Violet said, but there was uncertainty in her voice. Her eyes swept around the grounds and she saw that the last of the hostile vampires had been slain. She couldn't judge from that distance whether the civilians had been turned or not. "Through wind, rain, sun, and snow - I Mark you to follow you wherever you go," she whispered. Magyk swirled around her and a mark appeared on the necks of everyone present in the Courtyard, living and dead. While there would be no pain associated with it, nothing would be able to remove it.

There was then a swirl of purple as Violet Transported herself away, fleeing the scene.

Antonije looked at Myth wordlessly, before he used his powers and entered her mind. Myth would see the images of everything that had happened at the Bonfire Night so far, all from Antonije's perspective. He then got to his feet properly, looking like one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. His naturally pale skin was a sickly white, his silver-blonde hair clung to his skin with sweat, and blood and dirt covered his clothing.

He walked on over to Sylvi, standing next to her wordlessly. He didn't even look at Bruce. He was so incredibly angry and hurt that he just felt numb to the world, just watching as his girlfriend drank the blood of a corpse.

Mona was having better luck than the others. In the midst of the coughing fit, she would be able to tell who had fangs and who didn't. Of course, these newborn vampires were innocent - they were civilians too basically, they hadn't done anything wrong. Would Mona put them down, in order to stop the spread of vampirism? Or would she spare their lives?

Halley nodded as Arnora explained that Loki was at the Port. Despite her brother's opinion, Halley knew a decent bit as to how to get around on Midgard. She came down to help them out with threats that were beyond their capabilities - but that didn't mean she was never there. She simply preferred to not belittle the Midgardians and act as if they needed divine intervention for every crisis. The walk to the Port would have taken them a few hours, but fortunately the Port Ferry service was available, even this late at night. It was likely due to the Bonfire Night holiday - people would be wanting to get back home before dark.

"Bind his hands and gag him - he gets irritating if he isn't gagged," Halley told Cuyler. "Knowing Loki, he will use the Tesseract as he fights us, so it should not be difficult to retrieve from him. We then return the Space Stone to Asgard to the All-Mother - and ideally, send Loki to a cell." It was a fairly quick and pleasant trip on the ferry to get them from the Castle to the Port and when they arrived, the normally busy boardwalk was rather vacant. It was probably just due to the time of night, but there were lights on in various pubs and establishments down the main strip.

"Can you get us any closer a location?" she asked Arnora.

John Watts

"Andrew doesn't need to shrink down to be unseen. His mediocrity allows him one natural super power - total invisibility," Watts said harshly. After he said it, he considered briefly whether or not he had been too tough on Andrew, but he quickly dismissed it. The over eager puppy could take it. If he couldn't handle it, well, then that was between Andrew and his therapist - it wouldn't be Watts' problem. No, his problem was how to amplify the speed serum in order to go faster, as well as tinkering with the formula in an attempt to temporarily cure paralysis (it was a side project of his).

He sighed slightly as the elephant in the room was discussed - everyone's suspicions of the new CEO. He knew that most of these people were vastly younger than he was, but he expected an element of common sense from them. "Yes, you are quite daft," he agreed with Bobbi's assessment of herself. It was probably the only time he would agree with her on anything at all. "At any rate, Rae Gardner is an intelligent woman - we can all agree on that. Murdering someone to take over their company as the CEO? There are easiest and more effective ways for a corporate takeover. For example, she could have bought a controlling interest in Serval. The board of directors appointed her as CEO after Snow was murdered. If this was some sort of conspiracy between them in order to instal her as the CEO, they would not just be guilty of murder - but corporate espionage and other infractions."

"I'll say it simpler for those of you with small minds - Rae Gardner isn't stupid. She wouldn't kill Snow and then do this."
