Walnut was incredulous as the self-stabber mistook her scathing remarks as actual concern. How daft just was this person, really? She glanced around the room slightly, making an obvious face - though in the low lighting, she realized hardly anyone would be able to see her. Perhaps the tomb raider that they had in their presence, though that little line of information would need to be dealt with later on. Instead, Walnut had to fight the urge to see what would happen if they locked the pathetic woman back in here alone - would she still whine and moan about making a plan? "Yes, I believe you should wait until we have all left the room. We will call for you to exit once we have done so." Of course, she had no intention of doing so. She wanted to see how long this woman would wait, alone in the darkness, for someone to tell her it was alright to leave.

With flawless grace, as if she had become suited to the darkness after this time, Walnut easily moved forward and exited the confinement room. In the new room, she noticed the small amount of light afforded to them from the windows. A macabre thought flickered through her mind, but she quickly put it aside. Perhaps if the others shared in her irritation, or at least vocalized it, she would be able to make such a suggestion. "Are the doors locked?" Walnut asked, since Blush had already gone over to investigate them. "It is fortunate that we now have multiple tools to choose from, should we need to bypass a door or... Well, I'll be blunt - if we need to defend ourselves from any persons we may come across."

Andromeda Aldrich

Location: Babylon Fortress, Cairo, Egypt
Skills: N/A

"And who's supposed to keep you alive then?" Andromeda asked Bart. She had natural combat abilities - he didn't, as far as she was aware. Leaving him completely defenseless against this chaotic foe made very little sense to her and she doubted that the Destruere or any other monsters they were facing would back off from Bart just because he was the healer. If she were a monster, that would just make her want to target Bart more - cut off the medical help and the rest would go down easier. "Technically I'd have three guns if I got a weapon," she pointed out to James, teasing lightly. She had two combative powers and then a weapon would make three "guns." "But I'm not going to go without a weapon unless we absolutely cannot arm everyone," she clarified, hoping it would reassure him.

Sophia managed to get the makeshift beginnings of a torch for Peter and while the entire situation had Andromeda nervous yet focused, she still felt a bit of awe seeing Peter glide above the ground. Even after death, she still adored looking for the strange and unusual - to find the bizarre and the curious in this world and perhaps the next one too. Hopefully they would manage to get to their destination soon, traveling through an ancient tunnel like this made her feel slightly nervous. One, she was trying to not think about the possibility of the tunnel caving in and trapping them all. Two, she was definitely trying not to think about how easily the Destruere could probably kill them in a place like this. She had to wonder how Faith was getting on with her task - and would be, technically, since they were in the past now relative to the blonde Paradox. Andromeda took another breath, trying desperately to not think more about the tunnel but she couldn't help it. She had a fear of small enclosed spaces and was desperately fighting the urge to take off running.

Why did it have to be a bloody tunnel... she despaired.

The Small Wet Country Across the Sea: August 9th, 12,511 - 4:00 PM

"Valda!" Myrus blurted, forgetting to remain quiet as Ahote told him about his vision. He was certain that he had to be talking about his sister, just as he knew without a doubt that it had to have been Ragnarok. Actual gods had come down and fought amongst each other less than a year ago and Ragnarok was always going to happen eventually. The time for that sort of thing seemed right - even Fleur, the witch who inspired fear and terror and adrenaline all at once, might somehow turn out to play a role in that deadly tale. The most worrying thing though about Ragnarok and the fact that most people tended to overlook was that the stories said how it would end. The gods would fail. The worlds would fall and the cycle would start over again. They were destined to fail.

"... Sure, I'll help you prevent this," Myrus promised, though he felt it would be a futile effort. Ragnarok couldn't be stopped. It always would happen. He nodded a bit, biting his lip as he saw the little colorful paddle boats that Ahote indicated. He used to take those out on the Moat when he was young with Luna and... and Mavis.

By the time Bruce, Lennox, Myth, and the stowaway Mona appeared, the Frost Giant had already crossed the Moat. It didn't look back, which was fortunate - especially as two of the new arrivals would instantly notice some horrible items. Bruce would almost instantly stumble upon a corpse. The corpse was Runa Baldurdattir. Myth too would see a small, feeble form - and she would know in her heart that the departed soul before her was her own baby boy.

What happened here?

"I-I think it was Ragnarok..." Myrus informed the newcomers. Both Myth and Bruce would know all about that prophesied event.

The Palace Barracks - the Castle...

Gypsy smirked slightly at "Viper," pleased that the woman didn't seem to have any apprehension about drinking the blood of those who had once been her comrades in arms. She either did not know or did not care that Viper was not Amarantha's real name - though she had already indicated knowing that her companion was the leader of the army here in the Small Wet Country Across the Sea. Heading straight into the barracks, she chuckled slightly, seeing a woman rocking a baby girl (Dawn) back and forth. "Bite sized," she told Amarantha. "Why not go first? You've got to be starvin'."

"... S-Stay back!" Dawn's mother shouted, brandishing a crossbow in one arm and holding onto baby Dawn in the other. "I mean it!"

The Library Wing of the Palace - the Castle...

Sometimes the world acts in bizarre, strange ways. As Bruce successfully brought Myth, Lennox, and himself to the future, they also ended up somehow with a stowaway. Mona was sucked to the future too by the immense and powerful energies of Bruce's cosmic flames, landing with them in the ruins of the Palace. Oh boy, talk about a meet cute... (see future section above!)

Antonije Magnisky

Location: the Ramblings -> Ramblings Room 847
Skills: Telepathy, Persuasion
He decided not to tell Sylvi why he wasn't in the same danger as her from the mark - he didn't want to get into that sort of conversation with her and besides, she had already moved on to another topic. Unfortunately, that was hardly one that he wanted to discuss either. He had his secrets for a reason and while he loved her, he doubted she would love him if she knew the truth. Antonije couldn't bear to live without her, so he was just going to keep her in the dark as long as possible when it came to what he did during the middle of the night. She wouldn't understand. She'd hate him for it - maybe she would even turn him in, go up to Amarantha and expose him as the vigilante prowling the streets.

I ran into Violet once, he lied - more of oversimplified the truth, really. He was still holding Sylvi's hand, guiding her along as they finally made it to room 847. The door was silver with a smattering of purple stains from some failed paint job years ago. Antonije didn't really mind the appearance - he actually liked that it was different and unique. Heading inside with Sylvi, he sat down on the bed and pulled her into his arms. The room was cramped and tiny, barely fitting their belongings, bed, and a place to cook from. Kissing her neck, he sighed slightly. She used to be the ExtraOrdinary Wizard, Silvija... But you mustn't tell anyone or they'll make her go back. You don't want to go back to being a princess, so please don't do something equally horrible to Violet...

Halley Banner

Location: the Docks - the Port
Skills: Perception, Chaos Magyk
While this small little country may very well be under attack, Halley's request dealt with a much bigger issue: the Nine Realms were all under attack. Every moment that the Tesseract was missing, they were another minute closer to the End of Days. She had heard her father's tales about the Mad Titan, one of the last to wield all of the stones together in harmony, and the ruin Thanos had brought about. Of course, it would be foolish to diminish the damage that someone like Loki could do with just one of the stones - with the Tesseract, Loki would be the master of space. He could appear anywhere instantaneously and the energy that the stone produced could power any weapon. By itself, it was enough to bring a galaxy to its knees.

Arnora would be able to tell that Loki had moved - his current location is the Wizard Tower of the Castle. Halley didn't Feel Fleur's presence by some bizarre stroke of fate. Fleur could have been screaming insults about Halley's siblings at the top of her lungs and the demigoddess probably would have remained oblivious. "What Magyk?" she asked Cuyler, raising an eyebrow. "Are you detecting mine, perhaps?" she suggested, assuming that someone like him wouldn't be able to do any Magykal feats properly. "Arnora, do you have a location on Loki?" she asked again, tapping her foot slightly. They were wasting time here. The sun had long since set and a chill had begun to set in. Asgard's timezone was not too different from that of the Small Wet Country's, so the group would be feeling a bit tired as well.

Guin Stark

Location: The Palace Lab (Guin's Outfit)
Skills: Telepathy
Pietro didn't seem to be aware that she had gotten out of the closet thanks to Allison's help. Guin couldn't tell where her fiancé was at the moment, just what he was quickly running around - he didn't seem to be fighting people from what she could tell and she wasn't all too sure what to make of that. "Pietro doesn't seem to have any idea what's going on and as far as I can tell, he isn't contributing to the mess outside... so there's no danger of us getting whisked off by him but also... I don't know if he would protect us," she told Allison. No one had come and found them in the lab yet, probably since she was making everyone inside the building feel stoned. "I'll ask."

Stopping the projection of making everyone in the Palace feel stoned, she then reached out to her fiancé. Hey since I never did get a Hanukkah gift last night, can I cash in for a big favor instead? What is it? Allison and I need you to protect us so we can get to the center of the fighting and calm everything down. Why would you want to go there???? Pietro, we have a way to stop people from getting hurt. Please, do it for me? Nope, no way you are not going anywhere near the fighting!

Guin groaned in frustration, kicking the wall in order to take out a bit of her frustration. "He won't fucking do it. He thinks I'm some sort of fragile, porcelain doll who'll break if I go anywhere near a fight!" she snapped, venting a little bit. Of course she wasn't mad at Allison, she was mostly mad at Pietro's overprotective nature at the moment. She took a slight breath. They had a backup plan. "Okay, I'm going to telepathically connect your mind to Oshea's - think of it like a conference call," Guin informed Allison. She then concentrated, patching together a temporary mental link between Allison and Oshea.

Hey Oshea, it's Allison. Guin connected our minds. We have a way of calming everyone down and stopping the fighting, but we need to go out in the middle of it to do it. Pietro won't help. Can you come keep us protected while we do it? I love you and I promise I will explain all of this to you.

Sure thing, give me a moment, he said before a few seconds later he raced up. "So, you have a way to calm things?"

Runa Blake

Location: the Palace Grounds D5 -> C5
Skills: Eldritch Magic
Glancing around, Runa spotted Lance in the arms of the gigantic green beast. She was instantly reminded of the giants of Jötunheimr, with the exception that they never achieved such a shade naturally. The beast was protecting him from what she could tell, but then her eyes went to an individual in peril - it was the funny, well dressed boy from before. He was being flung around like he was just a cat and not a man. "... I will help the boy," Runa told James hesitantly. "Please watch out for Lance."

Running over towards Wanda, Runa didn't hesitate before leaping and pressing her palm against Wanda's center in an attempt to push Wanda's astral form out of her body. She didn't succeed and Runa tried again, this time managing to pull it off. There was just enough time for Carolina's astral form to get free of Wanda's grip, before the daughter of Magneto returned to her body, looking livid. Runa sighed a bit. If magic failed, then she would need to settle this more physically. She stabbed her fingers forward, aiming to claw at Wanda's eyes and blind the mutant sorceress, but Wanda blocked her and shoved Runa back.

"Why not pick on someone of your own ability, rather than this silly boy?" Runa called out to Wanda. It was a technique she learned from her Uncle Loki - sometimes, all you needed to do was annoy your opponent enough. She hoped that Klara would come back soon, she wasn't sure where her cousin had gone off to and she could use her magical assistance against the Scarlet Witch. The mutant before her was formidable, her raw power more than compensating for her lack of formal training in the Mystic Arts.

Dominika Novikova

Location: the Palace Grounds E5
Skills: Russian, Metal Bending, and Earth Manipulation
Life was random. It was so random that in the midst of everything going on, Novikova watched a bit dumbfounded as a zombie penguin waddled over towards Magneto, before falling to pieces. A phoenix then emerged from the ashes. If that was the Phoenix Force, then they were completely screwed. She had heard talk at S.H.I.E.L.D. about what Jean Grey had done before when hosting the entity, but she didn't know much beyond the enormous power it possessed. "Почему мир должен становиться сумасшедшим каждый год..." she muttered to herself.

Cass had taken out Sapphire, so that was something. Her girlfriend was knocked backwards by her own trick arrows and Novikova was seeing red, wanting to pummel King Erik into a pulp for that. She loved Maria more than anything. The Hulk beat her to it though, jumping up over the lake and grabbing Magneto, hitting him against the ground repeatedly. From her vantage point, King Erik was at least unconscious - maybe dead if they were lucky. Glancing around, Novikova decided that since there were plenty of people focused on the Scarlet Witch, she could at least make it difficult for the Palace to send out reinforcements.

Feeling the wall that surrounded the Palace like it was an extension of herself, Novikova summoned all of her strength and tried to pull it down to the ground, in order to create a huge obstacle that would prove difficult to overcome. The veins on her head were bulging and her heart was pounding so fast it was liable to jump out of her chest. She just barely managed to crumble the section of the wall facing the execution area of the Palace Grounds, but it didn't fall. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a silver streak go and move two girls (October and Carolina) out of the way as the rubble would have crushed them.

Casper Theriot

Location: the East Entrance - Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Skills: Mediumship
"Well we haven't gotten caught yet, so who's the dummy now?" Casper asked Bobbi pointedly. Sure, he had thrown his shoes haphazardly and yes, one of them landed in plain view of the camera - but nothing happened. The ground didn't open up and swallow them. No one was tackled to the ground and placed into handcuffs. Magneto didn't appear to kill them, followed by a quick musical number. "What if those cameras aren't even real? They could just be decorations," Casper mused.

"Yeah, because a top secret facility definitely would NOT spring for real security cameras... I think you're really onto something there," Ben said dismissively.

"Wait, Jackie, did you seriously just use a paintball gun on the camera?" Casper asked, a bit bewildered since to him, a paintball gun was just about as effective as throwing shoes at the thing. The paintball gun seemed to have disabled the camera at least, so he wasn't really complaining. If it had just splattered the camera in paint, then they would have had more of an issue to deal with - but even then, that would still do the job, no?

"Yay, no lock!" Casper cheered, opening up the door. He wished that they could have some background music during this - maybe Frank Sinatra's My Way would have been appropriate. Hopefully no one else had gotten very far in the building, as he hated to think what these people would do with an infinity stone. His brother might just kidnap more kids, Bobbi probably would do something weird, but the rest of them? He didn't even want to think about that.

"Okay, it's weird that this place isn't better guarded..." Ben muttered, looking around.

"Totally," Casper agreed.

Gene Benaszewski & Nora Kingston

Location: Athribis - Underground
Skills: Pattern Analysis, Cryptography, Mathematics, Decipher hieroglyphics, Acute Observation, Counterfactual History
Nora went about her work, manipulating the statue and such in order to correctly maneuver it into place - she didn't stop right before the final step as the Lord Major had asked, as she had already set about her work. She covered her nose and mouth with her non-branded hand as the smell struck her, hoping to not breathe in too much of whatever was now in the process of outgassing. She had to guess that this passageway had not been opened in ages, accounting for the smell and poor conditions. On the other side, there was no creature that she could see - no shadow monster as Gene had warned. The haze was still there, but it seemed to be ever present down in this site. "There's no creature," Nora said quietly.

Meanwhile, Gene got a slight headache as information rapidly rushed to her senses. It was the main reason why she didn't start berating people for being idiotic, but if they chose to go on this adventure then so be it. She had done her duty, warning them to escape with their lives. She just hoped that moving the carving like that hadn't trapped them down there. They'd be easy pickings for that creature. Sure, Gene was much stronger than the rest of these people here - she was on another level, so to speak - but these things had killed one of her own before. "Bloody hell..." she muttered, getting glimpses of different times. In one of the visions, she saw things started to wither and decay - beginning to die. But here though, things were doing the opposite - they were becoming stronger and younger, rather than fading away and becoming older.

"This has happened before - and it's going to happen again," Gene informed her companions. "But it's in reverse - see how everything around us is starting to look new?" Gene pointed out, a bit like an older student mentoring the new kid in the class on some complicated topic. "But see, in another place, it's doing the opposite - everything is going old." Her eyes flickered towards the Lord Major with that comment, briefly recalling his own insistences on the plights of being old - if only he knew how old Gene really was, he'd probably feel incredibly young by comparison. Of course, she was astounded and had an innate sense of wonder about her at the moment - yes, the odds of them all dying were astronomical but at the same time... this was new. She hadn't seen something quite like this before.

"But since you all have no sense of self preservation, let's get going onwards then," Gene commented. "And by the by, Belladonna is probably fine. She's a witch, after all." There was no sense in keeping too many secrets from these people, as it would only cause them to worry more. She'd rather they be confused than stressed. Witch was a term for what Belladonna was that they could understand - though the truth was far more complex and paradoxical.

"Might the light be brought towards the front of the party?" Nora inquired. She didn't want to just wade off into the pitch darkness, but Belladonna should be close. She didn't doubt her skills in navigating these ruins, though they hardly seemed like ruins anymore. She wasn't sure what to make of what Gene said, but her gut was telling her that maybe, just like Neema, Gene had some truth to her words. She decided for the moment to uneasily listen to the girl. And if there was something paranormal about Belladonna, maybe she could have survived that fall... She really hoped that the woman had lived. There was too much death surrounding them.

Cecily Ashworth

Location: The Asylum - Outside
Skills: Cool Headedness, Knowledge of Chemistry

Cecily realized that Priya had no idea who she was, at all, and seemingly lacked a little bit in sense. "I'm a member of the police department in Justice," she told Priya. "I thought Roy told you? I'm the current coroner." Of course, Priya's lamentations didn't really warrant taking up too much more of her time - she just found it weird that Priya was freaking out about Cecily creating a bomb, as if she were just a random citizen off the street. Furthermore, they knew that nothing good was happening in that building and per the rules of Stranger Things, they needed to act quickly and not sit around waiting for paperwork.

She nodded slightly as Alicia pointed at the car, but before she could really do much else she felt someone inside her mind. It was incredibly uncomfortable at first, but her cool headedness kicked in and she calmed down, seeing what Alicia saw. "That bottle there on the left," Cecily indicated quickly. "The fertilizer should contain ammonium nitrate. All we need is to light it and get someone with a really good throw to lodge it towards the asylum," she instructed Alicia. Once she finished telling Alicia what to grab though, Cecily's skin felt like bugs were crawling all over her and she jumped slightly, reflexively scratching at her arms as if that would somehow make the sensation go away.

"Okay, now I understand why some people hated Xavier..." she muttered, still feeling that horrible sensation and twitching a little bit in an effort to stop it.

Beatrice Decker

Location: Quarantine (Conference Room)
Skills: Spanish

Beatrice chuckled slightly. She honestly didn't really care what Erica thought about their activities from the previous night. She returned Thalia's fist bump though with a slight smirk. "Probablemente se arrepienta de no haber pensado en unirse. No me hubiera importado un tercio1" she commented. Sex didn't come with emotional feelings and desire for Beatrice. It was a physical act, a release of tension. Sure, she did have.... feelings... for Thalia but even if she hadn't, she still would have slept with her. The fact that she did have feelings for Thalia actually made things more complicated for Beatrice. If things proceeded as she expected, this would be the last day that she would see the Latina warrior. She hadn't really said a proper goodbye to Thalia yet. Goodbyes were never her style but...

She would make an exception here.

"You ever been arrested, Thalia?" Beatrice asked curiously as she took a seat next to her friend, holding onto her own portion of food. It was the phrasing - judgment - that brought the question to mind. Her eyes flickered over towards Thalia, holding her gaze for a moment. She didn't know if Thalia would answer that question - and if she did, Beatrice doubted she would tell the truth. Spanish wasn't even much of a safe language to converse in here, given that so many people in the southern U.S. spoke the tongue. But still, it would be interesting to see how Thalia responded all the same. "What about you, chica?" she then asked Erica.

"Morning, Alex," Beatrice greeted. She would miss him. He was one of her favorite people - ever.

Jack Newnan

Location: Quarantine (Conference Room)
Skills: Russian

"Hey, he's somehow a messieh eateh than his dad," Jack joked, his eyes on Jamie as the adorable little slugger tried to feed himself. His success rate was above zero percent - and that was what primarily mattered to Jack. They weren't in a situation where they would need to stress about the slight waste of food and rations, as he would have been worrying before out on the road. But at the same time, he might have gone for it all the same - just in case one day, if no one was around to feed Jamie, Jamie might be able to figure it out for himself. His heart clenched slightly at the thought of his baby boy out there in the world with no one to protect him. It was natural that he wanted a better world for his son and here at Mexico Beach, there was the best chance Jamie had for a normal, safe, and happy childhood. He just hoped it would include Tatiana and himself.

He followed Tatiana's gaze over towards Thana and Ash, but he wasn't as savvy as Tatiana when it came to people reading. "Может быть, это будет неуклюжим и напряженным для Эша, так как, может быть, не все из Ньюнана собираются пройти?1" Jack pondered softly. He was surprised that Ash seemed to have some sort of role in this process. Everything he had seen before more or less indicated that even though Ash had been a leader in Newnan, that wasn't going to be the case here. He wasn't sure what to make of it, as he doubted that Ash would receive special treatment due to his relationship with Thana but... He couldn't think of another explanation. It made him feel a bit uncomfortable, to say the least. "Понял2" Jack acknowledged, nodding a bit as Tatiana went over to talk to Ash.

His stomach felt like it was rapidly knotting itself. He hated the tension in the air. Every time the door opened and someone came in, Jack wondered is this it? He wanted to rip off the band-aid, to just find out already who was going to be allowed to stay and who was going to be asked to leave. He hoped to god that Jamie would be allowed to stay. He didn't know what he would do if he got in and Tatiana was kicked, but he knew that if Tatiana was accepted and he was rejected.... He would tell Tatiana to stay here with Jamie. Jamie needed her more than Jack did at the end of the day.

Leda Storm

Location: Camp Half-Blood 4C -> 6E
Skills: Superhuman Speed

"You act like she's up for adoption," Leda teased Tammy, after her sister called Kiera a keeper. She knew her sibling could tell that Leda liked Kiera, but she was also majorly cramping her style. She didn't want Kiera to know just yet. She wanted to lay an intricate net - one fit to catch Aphrodite, even - and then spring the trap. Going through all of the secretive planning in just a day? That was boring. She wanted to play a bit of a long game with Kiera. It would be more fun that way, especially since in Leda's opinion, most relationships were destined to end eventually. Why rush into things? "Let's keep on going," Leda agreed.

Picking up Kiera bridal style, she gave the daughter of Poseidon a wink before she took off again at superhuman speed. It was exhausting, running while carrying someone else. She was so tempted to just let go of Kiera and let her walk the rest of the way, but waiting for Kiera to catch up was more annoying than how exhausting it was to carry her. Making sure to try to stay out of sight as she moved across the field, Leda stopped running once they got to the flag location, panting profusely and her blood was pounding in her ears. "Give me a mo'," she requested, trying to catch her breath as she braced her arms against her knees, bent over slightly.

Underneath Mount Bashenga - Wakanda: July 16th, 2021 - 4:10 A.M.

"Alright, fine with me," Susan replied nonchalantly to Cass, apparently not really having the energy for more circular arguments about who they could and could not trust. They weren't in the position to be choosy with their allies, as Ultron already won. He had control over the entire planet, he had enslaved the human race, and at the rate things were going, the entire universe was at stake. Sure, Doom had done some horrible things in his life but unlike Ultron, he never succeeded.

"All the vibranium we have," Shuri instructed Cass, before she went over to her workbench and started pulling out specialized tools and processors. Once she had grabbed them, Strange used his eldritch magic and floated them on through the portal, beginning to make a neat and tidy pile on the other end inside the New York Sanctum of what they would need. Doctor Doom wasn't helping too much with the unloading of supplies, but he did grab some plans and schematics. They weren't the first people to come up with the entire time travel idea.

"The Eye of Agamotto..." he mused, recognizing the trinket around Strange's neck. "Why not just use that?" he coughed.

"I've informed them already that that would be our last resort," Strange replied curtly. Between his magic, as well as the assistance of the others there, they would be able to get everything they could possibly need through the portal in time.

Doom laughed slightly. "You have the most powerful device for time travel in existence and you - and you come to Wakanda to build an inferior one from scraps?!" he scoffed, shaking his head. Maybe he had been wrong to expect that these people could pull it off.

"If you knew anything about the Eye of Agamotto, you would know the grave cost and dangers of using an infinity stone. Compound that with the dangers of messing with the timeline, how averting one crisis will inevitably bring another one along later on... It is too great a risk to the multiverse."

"No, no you're just too scared to bend the rules," Doom taunted.

"Shut up already Victor."

Shuri was wondering whether the Sanctum would have enough room for the combined egos of Doom and Strange. "Come on, children," she scolded. The Invisible Woman helped Victor von Doom through the portal, Shuri then went through, and once Cass, Niah, and Roman had gone on through, Doctor Strange followed them and shut the portal behind him, leaving the Wakandan lab empty.

New York Sanctum - New York: July 15th, 2021 - 9:10 P.M.

Raynor put the body of Spider-Gwen down next to Bonnie's, before he bent down gently and started to scratch Goose behind the ears. He knew better than to say anything right now, given that Captain Marvel was clearly incredibly pissed off at him for his behavior. People grieved in different ways. He was perpetually grieving for Sparky and his mind just couldn't take much more of this. Of course, this world was still better than the reality he had come from, as he wasn't from Earth-666 (the universe designation of this reality). He came from Earth-257. And since Spider-Gwen also wasn't from this universe, it drove him closer to her. She was dead too. He hadn't been able to protect her, just as he hadn't been able to protect Sparky.

"We could ask To-," Banner quickly cut himself off. Even though his friend was long since dead, his mind had instantly thought of Iron Man when it came to inspecting the Vision to see if he was still being controlled by Ultron. It was a shame that they had sent all of the geniuses off to Wakanda, as he would have liked to get someone to inspect the Vision as soon as possible and robotics wasn't Banner's area of expertise. Neither was time travel - he was liable to accidentally turn someone into a baby if he messed up.

"Then let's go now," Carol told Tinley, her arms crossed. "We have the virus. Ultron won't be expecting us to instantly go and attack him, after losing two of our own. He also might not know that we have the Vision on our side yet."

"I'll come on the mission to destroy things. The other guy... he's uh, he's insisting on it," Banner said, tapping his hand against his head slightly to signify that he was talking about the Hulk. "I'm rubbish at building time machines anyways..." He left off the real reason why - he didn't believe that time travel was possible, that it could really work. Sure, his son had experienced some time travel with the X-Men but that was thanks to a magical human-dragon hybrid. He didn't know if they'd be able to replicate whatever Thalia Maehers had pulled off here.

"I'm going too - I want Ultron's head," Wanda said firmly. It was probably a good idea for her to go anyways - magic was always a weakness of Ultron's.

The group from Wakanda then came through a sling ring portal, along with the supplies they would need to build the machine. Fortunately, it seemed that Bonnie was their only loss - but they had gained someone else. Everyone in the room would recognize Victor von Doom, more commonly known as Doctor Doom. "That is... unexpected," the Vision murmured. "The odds of your appearance, Dr. von Doom, were 1.2% at best."

"Okay, what the hell is it with villains deciding to join the good guys for once?!" Marvel snapped. She didn't trust the Scarlet Witch. She didn't trust the Vision. And now, here was yet another villain being allowed to walk straight into the heart of their operations.

"He made a pact. His life for the survival of this universe," Strange answered simply. He held out his hand and the sling ring flew from Flynn's grasp, returning to its owner and Strange slipped the metallic ring away into his pocket.
