Raynor Blake and Bonnie Chase

Location: Outside the Quinjet - Cardiff Castle
Skills: Perception, Intuition

For a brief moment, Bonnie recalled that her best friend was British. This was probably the closest thing to a homecoming Cass had had since working with S.H.I.E.L.D. Despite being sworn to protect the planet, a majority of their problems ended up being in the United States - although there was the occasional jaunt to Eastern Europe every now and then. She followed Maria's gaze and winced slightly, taking its meaning before anyone had said a word. Sparky must have been infected. Oliver's carelessness had a body count. Matt confirmed her suspicions a moment later.

"Briefed? No. However as the Sorcerer Supreme of this dimension, I make it my business to keep a list of threats. The Black Order features chiefly. Unfortunately, I have yet to learn why they have elected to come terrorize Earth and the inhuman kingdom of Attilan," Strange answered curtly. He was keeping one eye on those he knew to be inflicted with M-Pox, Cass and Sparky. He was a magician, but he was also a doctor and he took his duties per the hippocratic oath seriously. He listened with interest as Tempest was spouting off facts about babies born on a particular night and then Tinley proposed a plan that revolved around capturing someone named Thane.

"That sounds like a great plan - but would someone mind appraising me as to who Thane is?" Strange asked.

Unfortunately, his voice was drowned out with what happened next - Flynn. Raynor found Flynn's outburst to be a little bit funny. It was largely because Flynn singled him out as coming up with a plan first - though he guessed he hadn't exactly told Flynn about his past, about the group he used to lead. He hadn't told anyone about that, not even Sparky. The Asgardian tried to keep a straight face, biting down on the inside of his cheek so that way he couldn't laugh. He had seen Flynn lose his mind so many times - especially in the erased Age of Ultron timeline - that it wasn't even shocking to him anymore. It was just comical.

Although, he did have to agree that Tinley's first plan was rash - it wasn't much of a plan at all. Her new one was better, since it gave two well divided teams and split their tasks into goals that each team could achieve. He didn't know how exactly they were going to find Thane, since Tempest and Oliver apparently hadn't managed to find a surname or an address or anything like that, but they did have a wizard in that group. Right. Strange still didn't know what was going on. "Thanos got a prophecy that his kid, Thane, is going to kill him," he explained to Strange, wishing he had popcorn. It was the most relaxed he had felt since the entire M-Pox thing started. Flynn's outburst was helping to distract him from imagining Sparky dead.

"Ah," Strange said, before motioning between Flynn and Tinley. "Is this ordinary?"

Bonnie hadn't heard Flynn's earlier comment. She had come in right before Tinley snapped at him and swore. Was she surprised to see Flynn snap at her as well, using his own curses? Not at all. Did she feel good seeing this go down? Also, not at all. It made her feel disgusted and gross, torn between her boyfriend and one of her closest friends. Neither of them was in the right here from what she could tell. They also just didn't have the time to deal with an argument breaking out. Infighting was what superhero teams did - they were S.H.I.E.L.D., they had to be better. "You both hate each other, we get it," Bonnie said bluntly, pinching her nose a bit. "Let's move on and get to work while there's still a planet to save."

The air around them rapidly began to hum, vibrating as if each constituent molecule was primed to explode. The light turned harsh, forcing Bonnie to shield her eyes and look away. Raynor stared straight on - his father was the God of Light, allowing him to bear witness as five aliens appeared.

"Greetings, Terrans," Ebony Maw, a rather Squidward Tentacles looking sort of alien said. "Rejoice, for in death you shall be saved as children of Thanos."

Four others stood by his side - Supergiant, Black Dwarf, Corvus Glaive, and Proxima Midnight.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: New Rome - the Auguries
Skills: N/A

"I think it would have to be something pretty extreme - like the gods started to fade - for them to shut down the coffee joint," Nancy admitted. She had only been at Camp Jupiter for a few years, yet from what she had heard, New Rome pretty much always carried on, no matter the threat. The city of demigods had survived so far, to its credit, so clearly they had a good way of running things. On the mention of Diana, though, Nancy couldn't help but smile. She loved the myths about her aunt. She was easily the coolest goddess in her opinion - not that she was daft enough to go around spouting off about it. She liked being alive and not killed by Venus or Minerva or Juno.

She sighed slightly as the entered the augur's quarters. "Yeah. She's pretty grody. Alexandra's my sister and, well... She takes after my dad in some rotten ways." Alexandra hadn't been the augur of Camp Jupiter for a year, yet Nancy had already formed a strong opinion on her. She found the use of gutting stuffed animals to be incredibly weird - and childish. Her long blonde hair and exposed skin reminded her of Vegas - and Nancy hated being reminded of Vegas. She found her voice annoying, though at that point Nancy was really just looking for reasons not to like Alexandra. Had the augur been anyone else, she wouldn't have cared that they were asleep - but since it was her sister, she had to roll her eyes in annoyance.

"Alexandra, wake up! Pantene is having a sale!" she shouted, shaking the augur.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Rest Stop
Skills: N/A

Leda hadn't managed to sleep, even with there not being much to do at all. She had spent her time struggling through her book, the letters flipping around and making it almost impossible to understand the story. Whenever it became too frustrating, she would walk up and down the aisle of the bus until the driver had yelled at her to sit down and that she was causing a safety hazard. She then bounced her knee the rest of the way to Virginia, beginning to feel cramped and constrained. It had only been a few hours on the bus, but it seemed more like an eternity to her. "I'm going to lose my bloody mind if I stay on this death trap for another mo'," Leda told Zeke, as Kristin had already gone off to use the restroom. She swung her bag over her shoulder and ran off the bus as quickly as she could.

While she wasn't intending on abandoning the bus, she always tried to keep her bag on her when outside of camp. Demigods tended to never get much heads up when it came to having to flee. Once off the bus, Leda had a definite spring in her step. She breathed in the night air and let out a content sigh. They were alive and they were outside, breathing in the fresh air. Leda pulled the bag of chips out of her bag that she had gotten back in Manhattan and opened them up, eating her makeshift dinner. She hadn't intended to save them. To be honest, she had completely forgotten about them until now.

The horses caught her eye and she smiled. They reminded her a bit of the pegasi at camp.

Not everyone would have sworn an oath like that - but Niah did. It earned her Nancy's respect. Others likely would have pressed for more information or refused. Niah's mother was the goddess of the River Styx, the same river that gods swore their oaths on. Breaking an oath sworn on the River Styx was a death sentence... Nancy had to imagine that any oath Niah swore was just as binding as that. "You're alright, Bautista," she complimented. "That was pretty rad of you to do." She looked inside the cup for another moment, wishing that more mocha would materialize somehow. She could have ordered more. She really could have.

"Ugh, don't even joke about that, Mads," Nancy groaned. "If that happens, I'll have to ask my dad what exactly his damage is." Her father wasn't just the god of prophecy after all - he was the god of medicine. He was the sender of plagues. She got up from the table and headed out of the shop with the others. It wasn't too far to get to the auguries - they were near the Senate. At the very least, it was convenient that way. The Auguries didn't have to go far to tell the Senate about their impending doom. When she had first arrived at Camp Jupiter, she had been worried they'd force her to become one of the Auguries due to her powers.

"I could ask Rebecca if she'd do it," Leda offered Zeke, smirking slightly. Her girlfriend was a daughter of Hecate. Just thinking about her, Leda's hands went to the witch pendant she wore around her neck. It had been a present from Rebecca, supposedly symbolizing power through spirituality. That was one of the qualities they had in common - an appreciation for the unseen, spiritual elements of life. "But then again, you already have certain pig like qualities, so maybe magic isn't needed." Had she started this round of antagonizing him? Yes. Did Leda regret it, teasing him right after he had healed her? No. She'd likely feel a bit remorseful for it later, but she was impulsive. She lived in the moment and tried not to dwell on things.

Kristin at the very least was willing to play the game. "Zeke and who else? You need to give three options," Leda explained. "So for example... Zeke, Chiron, Argus. And then you have to pick who you'd F, who you'd marry, and who is making a trip to the Underworld." She then thought for a moment over that group. Argus was rather silent, but he had good taste in music. Chiron was too much of a teacher figure and she didn't go for the school girl scenario. "Marry Argus... F Chiron, kill Zeke... Now your go, Kristin - the Fates, the Muses, aaaand the Kindly Ones."

Guin Stark

Location: Stark Tower - Top Floor
Skills: Telepathy, Deduction, Problem Solving
In the blink of an eye, she was near the top of Stark Tower. Bethany had shadow traveled them there in an instant and Guin couldn't help but be impressed, especially since to her knowledge, Bethany had just figured out how to teleport earlier that day when they were on Galactus' ship. Guin figured that Pietro was pissed, though. She loved him and understood that his mental illness was likely contributing to an extreme overprotective nature, but his behavior made her feel like she was being suffocated. It had been a huge source of unhappiness for her in the world Wanda had created. I'm fine, you're fine, it's all going to be okay, she reminded him gently.

"The roof - it's a bit of a safety hazard but it worked for Loki with the Chitauri, so I bet it'll work for us," she then answered Beth. Allison's comment - and Mary's - made her chafe a little bit. She got the sense that Allison was on her side with this, but it still just seemed awkward to her to have others butting in on their relationship. Guin much preferred hearing Allison talk about her vision. Sure, she wasn't thrilled to hear that there were multiple Silver Surfers running all over the place, but it also wasn't too surprising. With the sort of power given to him by Galactus, why stop at just one hardlight illusion?

You don't know that!

Trust me, okay? We're in this together. Just take a deep breath, Guin coaxed. She didn't use the mental link to calm him very often beyond words, yet he had done it for her before - so she took a slight breath and sent a calming wave on through, hoping it would help Pietro focus with the battle they were about to join in on.

Okay... If you say so Guina. he responded, calming down slightly. She kissed him on the cheek, before turning her attention to their plan. Mary's suggestion of finding the weakness on the Silver Surfer wasn't bad, but from what Guin could tell, he had no weaknesses. He was the definition of over powered, the sort of person you'd see at the movies and everyone in the audience would groan, wondering how their heroes could possibly topple him.

It then hit her.

"Unless we can get the Fantastic Four to beat him, we need to grab his board and keep it away from him!" she blurted out. "That's the only weakness he showed earlier was when Neil tried to take it!"

Neil Spellman

Location: Outside Stark Tower
Skills: N/A
Neil was blushing slightly still from Sara's compliment. He didn't want to be the leader right now, he didn't want to take charge - but he had the nullifier and no one had taken it from him yet. He wished that one of the older X-Men would have grabbed it instead, to relieve him of the responsibility. He felt like Atlas in Greek Mythology, cursed to hold up the sky - to prevent it from slamming into the ground and destroying the world. For a brief moment, he had to wonder if Atlas was just based off of Galactus. How many myths were actually just about aliens?

He was shocked out of his thoughts though as silver shards flew at him, hitting him dead on. He was knocked even further out of the sky from the impact, but he was alive. His brain was frazzled as he could hardly comprehend the Silver Surfer being there. As another volley was about to hit the stunned young mutant in the head, Neil was suddenly blinded by dazzling light as it engulfed him. He shut his eyes just in time as the light shifted his location and when he dared to open them, he saw Lance Banner, flying without a suit.

Nodding at Banner in thanks for the assist, Neil fired up the thrusters again, trying to get lift. Yet instead of shooting him up towards the top of the tower, his suit failed.

And sent him into a dizzying free fall.

🗡️ Megan Pendragon 🗡️

Location: Merlin's Warehouse
Skills: N/A

Megan didn't touch the tea Merlin had offered her, slowly replaying the information he had given them in her mind. A beloved cartoon dwarf named Grumpy was the identity of the John Doe they had gone to investigate the death of at the orphanage. They were from a place called Arcadia - which sounded to her like the name of a town in Canada - and their parents had sent them to Kansas in order to keep them safe from Maleficent. Their parents had been fighting what seemed to be a losing battle for over a decade. And of course, as her brother pointed out, Merlin hadn't even told them the identity of their parents. It seemed like they would be revealed to be Disney characters.

She had to wonder if her mother was one of the ghosts at the Haunted Mansion - what had the bride with the axe been named? Maybe that was the answer. Her brother was probably the son of Prince Charming or something. Maybe Robin Hood? Was he a person in Arcadia or was he a sentient, talking fox with a hat? She just had more questions as she considered Merlin's story, still trying her best to give him the benefit of the doubt. Megan did remember him. She knew she had seen him as a small child. Maybe he was simply mad - but what if he wasn't? What if her parents really were out there in danger? "I'd like to know who our parents are as well."
