@MechonRaptor That might work, I don't have the final word however. It would be neat to have crew members in addition to squadmates. Let's just say that the Task Force will have a command center of some sort and support roles could be filled.

@AquaAzura Interesting idea, but it might be a bit too gimmicky and would clash somewhat with the tone of the story.

@WanderingSpirit Yeah that kind of character would be perfect for the Task Force. This organization is like a black ops team, predominantly made up of either the cream of the Citadel military and intelligence crop or the most notorious criminals in the galaxy. So we expect to see lots of commandos and spies rubbing shoulders with mercs and killers of all stripes. Very similar to the crew in Mass Effect 2 except with more government operatives.

I will just say I'm shocked so much interest has been displayed. We may decide to raise the player cap depending on how many apps we get and the quality and dedication put into each of them but it is very gratifying to have so much interest in our game, thanks a lot guys. Sam should be finished with the OOC soon.

In terms of military doctrine the Quarians resemble the Salarians more than they would the Turians.

@Dervish It's entirely possible for your character to have done that.

@The Spectre We were going to have it that Shepard managed to negotiate a peace between the Migrant Fleet and the Geth Collective.

@Leos Klien You misunderstand. Sam is looking for a dedicated group of players, but there shouldn't be any other Spectre PCs besides the ones Sam and I play for the reasons stated above. The rest of the PCs are part of a Spectre-led Task Force akin to Shepard's crew and squad of allies in the Mass Effect games.

Unfortunately, two PC Spectres is our cap for the RP. The characters Sam and I play will be the ones that are (nominally at least) in charge of the crew. It wouldn't make sense for another Spectre PC to be taking orders from them and would be unfair to other players since Spectres are literally supposed to be the best of the best when it comes to military and covert operations and have political authority on par with an ambassador.

Chiming in here, I'm Sam's Co-Gm. I'm really impressed by how pro-active all you guys are; Sam has final say on who will be in the RP of course but I am glad to see so much enthusiasm.

I did have a feeling most people would want to play outcast races though :P For what it's worth my own character will be a Turian Spectre and Sam will be playing a Spectre as well.

Miri might manage to pull through here if you want but it'd also be fine if you wanted her to be the last river knight to fall in the conflict.
