Dear Mr Curly,
I have done little travelling lately because I have been so dreadfully weary. Can it be true as the old Ecclesiastes said; that all things lead to weariness? Surely not. Perhaps the opposite is true: that all nothings lead to weariness. I have a peculiar feeling, Curly, that I am worn out from something I haven't yet done and the more I don't do it, the more exhausted I become. How strange. Could it be something I haven't realised? Perhaps it's something I haven't said? Something I haven't finished! It must be very large and true whatever it is and a lively struggle in the doing but I look forward to it immensely. I know I need it. First, however, I must curl up in my chair and sleep deeply with the duck. Perhaps I'll dream of this thing and wake up refreshed and do it. My fond wishes to you Mr. Curly, and to all Curly Flat.
Yours sleepily,
Vasco Pyjama

P.S. Not having breakfast can make you weary. That's for sure!

So, short version... what have I missed?

Well, Xos is still at large. After my next (unrelated and rather large post) Toun's going to try to get a hold of Logos and enact the plan they had for him. Other than that, we'd really need a reference point to where you last left off.

Oh, I'm in the US now, by the way.
@Kho I'd say you can outright adopt Thacel if you like. Malchivo has been absent for long enough, I think. Besides, I don't think it would do well for the father/son dynamic if I were to play Thacel.

Perhaps don't think it would do well is a bit strong. It wouldn't be as much fun is a better way to put it.
@Muttonhawk not sure if you mentioned this already, but when in the timeline did the Mafie episode take place? I'm guessing it was sometime post-Realta but pre-Xerxes? A considerable amount of time must have passed for her tale to become legendary by the time of Mira & co.

Unfortunately, my timeline is hain-centric, so it hasn't followed the dwarves too closely. However, Mafie's story takes place before the dwarves underwent furry metamorphosis, so probably a loooong time ago. Before Xerxes, maybe even before the realta. You'd probably get a better estimate of the timeframe from Wrongend and/or Termite.

Also, I should probably update that timeline, hm. A few points in hain history have come about in the last couple of pages I've yet to incorporate.
No one enjoyed watching Meesei slay the broken man over the altar. It left an awful taste in their mouths that only increased their desires to leave. But it was necessary. They had to get what they came for.

The voice was like a slowed down sighting of a predator pouncing out to each in the pack. They were powerless in Molag Bal's presence. Janius clenched his teeth and hardened his look to obscure his trepidation. Lunise's already quiet breathing slowed to silence as if she was hiding. Sabine clutched the Staff of Magnus so closely and tightly that its surface and her palms emitting a creaking.

Janius flicked his head to one side. He gave Kaleeth a look, as well as the axe she held. Everything was as it was before. Meesei simply had to negotiate with one of the less pleasant Daedric Princes in existence. They waited for her response.
There was no comfort gained in getting to this point, especially with the way Meesei looked at them all. Sabine and Lunise were unlucky enough to know that Molag Bal's demands were invariably cruel. There was no doubt Janius, Kaleeth, and Lorag could gather as much by the situation.

Lunise was the one who spoke. She did so jut as flatly as before, but with no disrespect to how she believed Meesei felt about the situation. "You know what you have to do, Meesei."

She then turned her eyes not to the weakened Argonian man, but to the robed figure who handed Meesei the dagger.

"You know what this place favours," she added.
Kho votes keep it FREE. And so should you. Vote Free today.

Oh booy. I'm all for putting it in Free, but I'm not sure if I can force myself to post one-liners or even three-paragraphers!

@Kho Trust me, I don't want to write longposts either, and I will do my damnedest to enforce lighthearted posting if need be, but I don't feel like dealing with ultra-shortposts either and we do want to get players.

It should be okay if we drop it in Free and advertise both there and elsewhere.

Hmm.

We have Mid/High Casual here.

I honestly can't say this with a straight face, but...

Perhaps you guys are advocating for something...Mid/High Free?
It's casual. We're casual. Call it casual. We're casual rpers. We're not like 'em stuck up folk in their high advanced towers. We're fun. Casual. Casual.

SORRY! YOU ARE VERY HARD TO HEAR FROM ALL THE WAY UP THERE ON THAT PILE OF SEVERAL MILLION WORDS THAT WAS YOUR LAST FEW POSTS! WHAT WAS THAT!? TOWERS!?! I WOULD DARE TO DESCRIBE SUCH A PILE OF WORDS YOU SPEAK FROM AS TOWER-LIKE, HENCE WHY YOU NEED TO SPEAK UP, LAD! MAKE YOURSELF CLEARER!!
Just curious. Is this Divinus lite still launching in the Free section? I don't mean to judge, but all of your characters, not to mention the depth of the rules, really speak more to me of the Casual section than the Free section.

'Course, we're only running in the casual section here because this RP only semi-intentionally blew out into Advanced section levels of writing, but whatever.
@Cyclone I've got, like, 2 of 9 scenes done, dude. I'm doing what I can :P
I'll say this for anyone with characters in Alefpria, but @BBeast in particular due to Gerrick's journey starting.

I intend for Conata to stay in Alefpria after for about a decade or more after she arrives to catch up into the new turn. Anyone with the means to detect her may notice her doing whatever good she can on the streets where the bureaucracy and the absent ruler are failing.

She'll not be there forever, but Yorum is taking a long time and Xos is next on the list, so feel like I should inform of the overall plan.

Hell, if you want to collab, we even have the year count to catch up with the temporal inconveniences!
