To all my players and writing partners; Don't worry! I've not vanished or forgotten you. I've had something come up, and will be taking the rest of this week off from my RPs. See you next week!

Starting a Vampire the Masquerade campaign. Look for it in the TTRPG interest check section. I'm gonna be a story teller!

I feel torn. On one hand, I'm bored, so I want to get into some more RPs. On the other, I know once the quarantine ends, I won't have the free time to keep up with all of them. Temptation is a B.

@Limey Good post. Important note: Vampires don't deal in fire. The presence of it can trigger a fear frenzy. For a Brujah, that's especially a risk.

Edwin would know this. Please correct that. Otherwise, though, good post.
@rocketrobie2 Oh, very much so. He can still see and hear while he's going berserk. The beast is just in charge, so he can't do anything to stop it.

However, he'd also know that Sarah is fast enough to be in her car and out of there within seconds. She's long gone.
@rocketrobie2 I'll leave that up to you. You know them better; whichever one would be more likely to go practice with him after a bad show.

@rocketrobie2That is 5 success... On a messy critical.

Well, good news first: Steel knows Exactly what that note means. He knows, because his beast knows.

Bad news: The beast is furious. Steel is going to fly into a rage, his claws are going to come out, and he's going to use them to destroy his guitar.

Worse news: One of his band members-a human-had been following him, for a practice session. They see him go beast mode. Sara isn't far enough away to not see it, too. As the neck of the guitar breaks in his hand, the neck of his band mate breaks in hers. By the time he finishes destroying the entire instrument, Sara is gone, and the band mate is dead on the floor.

@rocketrobie2 Please mark one stain on your CS in the CS section.

However, Steel knows some stuff; For one, there's a new Prince in town. For two, he's a Ventrue. This note is him marking his territory, and stating that life in the state is about to change.
Moreover, though, he got to you through Sara. The new Prince was in the same room with her, and gave her an order that she followed. Steel knows that some vampires have the power to control the minds of others. If Sara brought Steel that envelope, she was probably under someone else's control when it happened. There's no reason the Prince should know who Steel is, unless Sara told them. If Sara told them about you, she likely told them Everything.
In other words: The Prince knows your secrets. The Prince very likely knows All your secrets, and he's just invited you for an audience.

I am, indeed, still recruiting. Go ahead and head to the thread. You'll find general rules there.

You'd be starting as licks, and you'll need to send me your character concepts and eventually full character sheets through PMs. If you have questions, message me directly through PMs and I'll respond as best I can that way.
@Limey She definitely gets the feeling that this letter has a deeper meaning, but she's too inexperienced as a kindred to fully understand the implications.
Alright, everyone has their marching orders! Let's see how well everyone recognizes the subtle hints.

For this one, we're looking at an Intelligence plus Politics roll.

2, 2, 5 Welp, unsurprisingly, Jesse doesn't catch the subtleties at All.
The envelope was closed with a wax seal, a stylized 'R' printed over a crossed staff and scepter imprinted in the wax. Inside the envelope awaited a thick parchment, scented with a noticeable hint of fine cologne, with writing scrawled across. Clearly written by hand, and seemingly done with quill and ink. Not over the top, but the kind of work that would cost money these days.

Attached to the parchment with a paperclip was a business card. Thick and pristinely white, the card had only a time and date on the front, with an address on the back. Inquiry would show that the address belonged to an old bar, in the downtown area. The date was the following night, and the time was midnight. Written inside the envelope was a note, clearly meant to only be read by the recipient.
