To all my players and writing partners; Don't worry! I've not vanished or forgotten you. I've had something come up, and will be taking the rest of this week off from my RPs. See you next week!

@Guardian Angel Haruki It's unlikely, but what would I roll to see if Voth knows anything about a 'Will of the Feywild' who has enough beef with someone to warrant a bounty?

If you have a question or disagree with a DM's decision, you can just bring it up regularly tbh, no need for all that passive aggression.

That's a very uncharitable reading of my statement. Mayhaps you should look to your own concerns, first. GAH already discussed it with me, right here for all to see. No hurt feelings, and no bad blood. She's a big girl who can address those kinds of concerns on her own. I was just poking a bit of fun at the situation.

I've RPed with GAH before, and have no issues bringing up matters I genuinely have a grievance with. No need to make mountains out of mole hills.
@Guardian Angel Haruki Not arguing; Just pointing out that it's good to know I can get character class and alignment off of a 19. Fair enough about the counter roll, but with a +7 to insight checks (and potentially guidance adding a d4) Voth can get a lot higher than a 19.

Alrighty then. Aurora easily recalls that Grankhul was one of the names Brutrumukk swore at after reincarnating as a Gnome. So, naturally she would know that Grankhul is one of the Goblinoid Gods. She'd know only the basics on the 13, but not as much as Voth knows.

As for the 19 Insight, Aurora would immediately tell that Voth is of the Evil Alignment. She can also see that he is a cleric, even if the conventions for Grankhul's clerics are different than what is normal for clerics of humanoid gods.

Wow, insight got a glow-up. A 19 gives you alignment And character class, without even a call for a counter-roll (not that Voth would likely succeed at a counter-roll)? Going to have to keep that in mind. That's a lot of useful information to have about every NPC for the rest of the campaign that Voth can get on a 12+.

Voth:

Feel free to consider this Voth's implied reaction to most things. An evil alignment combined with a 6 charisma, and really your only options in most situations are to keep quiet or be grossly offensive.
As for checking to see who 'Nibs' is, that would be a History check. However, the History check DC would be high.

@Guardian Angel Haruki Not sure if it's good enough, but I got an 18 on the history check. Either way, I'll update my reply to reflect the outcome.
Voth

For the first time, Voth would take notice of the strange creature accompanying the group he had just joined. Strange pincers for hands and a head that appeared to be made of some kind of gourd. His time in the fey wilds had taught him that all manner of creature could be found there, but rarely were they to be trusted. There was not much to go off of, but he would study the creature's manner and tone as it spoke, attempting to detect hostile intent.

Taking time to think on the creature's words, he thought the name sounded familiar. Before he properly put his mind to it, though, he thought to reach for his holy symbol. Gripping the carving of two ever watching eyes hanging from the chain around his neck, he would speak a small prayer in the goblin tongue. "Ever vigilant Grankhul, for your guidance I offer sight." Reaching to his face, he would close his eyes, dragging his thumb briefly across each closed lid. Bugbear teachings held that Grankhul gave them sleep so he could use their eyes while they slept. A brief gift of his own sight during waking hours was the symbolic price for the guidance of Grankhul.

Unfortunately, even with Grankhul's guidance he could not recall anything about a Nibs in this area of Thither. It was not an uncommon name, so no doubt he had heard it before. Though, from the way the strange creature spoke and acted, Voth doubted it intended them any harm. If this was some manner of trap they were being led into, it was not one of the strange creature's design.

"I speak the common tongue," Voth would remark in common, in response to the question directed at the goblin. This would be the first time he addressed the group, instead of just Brutrumukk. "I have given an offer of aid to your gnomish bugbear companion. He has accepted. I am Voth, servant of Grankhul Ever Vigilant. If to this cavern we go, at the creature's direction, I can offer a blessing from Grankhul to seek the location of any fey, fiend, or celestial in hiding within our path. It would offer us detection of ambush from Thither's most common peoples."
@Guardian Angel Haruki If I would want to roll some manner of check to see if I know who 'Nibs' is, alongside say an insight into the intentions Clapperclaw has in taking us to him, would I do that in a post or separately here in OOC?

It's a quote from this specific web comic. Specifically, the third panel.
Jub, pointing to Voth: This is an example of the prejudice I have suffered from my own kind and what led me to my self-loathing and internalized racism.
Brutrumukk: Meh.
