I agree. But normally the start is more like "Alright let's get together and form a team because XYZ." In this case everyone is ignorant of one another and all brought to one place against their will. They're thrown into the action rather than meeting and then going to it.

There's so many good ways to open up on a group/team based rp and ultimately we'll have to wait til IC1 to see how it rolls off the production line—which I am so itching for right about now! The benefit to this rp in comparison to others I've been in is that everyone appears to be close to each other. A few times when I've been in rps (Garden of Shadow with @dreamingflowers as an example) where people started on opposite sides of a city or even country. While yes they work, they tend to be slower in getting into player interactions.

I do always find time travel one of those things to be wary of for roleplays as it can really mess up the flow, but the idea of foreseeing the "possible" future is something that I do like. It doesn't lock the players into what will be, but helps guide them on what may come—while also beimg a useful GM tool.

As a character I do want to see how he plays out. He is very interesting and has a nice degree of depth. Will admit I do need to fully read his cs—along with everyone elses—but I skimmed through just to see what type of cast we were running.

In regards to interactions, I'm always on the fence. I'm not too sure where my character may have met the others, but there's always that off chance that they may have talked before hand during their capture. It also does raise the question of if the characters know about each others ability (loosely mentioned here) as I do believe part of the fun is also not knowing what the person next to you is capable of.

Just as curiosity, sign of respect for the character, and also thinking of dipsey/head-butting conversations—how should characters refer to Taylor with her sexuality, gender, and him-her-they pronouns?

I think I can guess, but I just wanna make sure I portray things right in the narrative and character speech.

So I saw this today... (Looked up since North Korea made a threat on Australia)



Actually made a lot of sense as to why North Korea is going down the road of Nuclear weaponry. I don't agree to it, but I understand their direction and the fears they have of their dynasty being wiped out.

To be honest I've seen a few videos that discuss aspects of the modern world like the ones above and it's rather interesting, confusing, and even scary.

Eppie is a girl that prefers the life where she can be on her own away from people, and yet when she meets someone she trusts she values their companionship. She is a positive minded person who struggles with her abilities—the unfortunate need to inflict self harm—as they clash heavily with her positive, life loving personality. She is also quite the intelligent girl, someone who had a positive future and good grades at school, and yet no matter how far she pushed herself everything came crashing down when she began to learn about her hidden gift.

Eppie is a rather small and fragile looking individual; a girl who stands proud at her petite height of five foot, and two inches. She has an anaemic, pasty-white appearance thanks to her abilities, and yet she doesn't appear too concerned about this lack-of-sunlight look. Her hair is void of most of it's colour—a change that began several years prior—giving her the teenage nickname of Snowy. The girl will however still show off her broad smile and bright green eyes, a sign that she isn't as scary as she appears to be.

Most of the time Eppie will stick to your casual, run-of-the-mill clothing range: a dark tank top, a pair of tanned pants, and a set of white sneakers. They aren't what one would call unique or special, but when you're sporting the ghostly look you're bound to get noticed one way or another.

Eppie has the ability to manipulate her own blood. It can simply be described as a rudimentary form of telekinesis that allows her to draw the vital fluid from her body and use it in a variety of melee and projectile attacks. The girl is able to spill a large amount of blood to form hardened whips, razor sharp blades, or long spears, while opening wounds on her fingertips will allow Eppie to fire a barrage of small, needle shaped globules at her intended target.

These abilities have a major drawback in that Eppie is only able to manipulate her own blood and thus only has a limited supply. She must also draw her own blood through an open wound so depending on where the wound is and how deep it may be will depend on how much blood she can utilise at once. Finally, once the blood leaves Eppie's contact it becomes extremely difficult to recall, making her quite vulnerable during situations of high stress where she's throwing away her valuable source of life.

Once Eppie uses her abilities her body will begin to call out for any spilt blood nearby and slowly recall it back into her own body, using the open wounds in her skin to absorb the fluid. This is a very weak ability in that she can only use it while resting, in a state of tranquillity, or passed out and it may take some time for the blood to reach her. During this state she can absorb blood that isn't hers but will most likely end up sick due to the various compatibilities in blood types.

Eppie is the observant individual, a girl who will take note of the events happening around her and make a decision on the suitable course of action. She is quite intelligent too and will notice when things seem off or out of place.

Eppie's abilities have, unknown to her, allowed her to excel at High-School sports. Even for a girl of such a small figure she is able to subconsciously assist in her own blood flow, leaving teachers to wonder how she is able to complete a long distance run with such a regular heart rate.

Eppie is a small girl and thus she isn't always able to put up much of a fight. She has a risk of being knocked down easily and can easily be overpowered by individuals who are much larger than her.

Eppie hates that she has to harm herself for her abilities. It's painful, it leaves scars, and has a toll on her own mental health. But it's needed isn't it? Needed in order to survive?

Eppie nimbly darted her way into the female restroom, both in order to leave the crowded mass of students in the school hallway, and to take a much needed detour before the start of the afternoon classes. She entered the tiled chamber, strolling casually over to the sink, and dropped her shoulder bag to the floor as she grabbed the two tap handles to open the floodgates. A stream of lukewarm water poured out as the girl plunged her cupped palms in and scooped up a handful to splash her dry face.

That's when she entered the room, the school bitch known as Veronica. It was her and two of her bitchy ass friends.

"...Daddy just never buys me anything," Eppie could hear it already, the moaning and whining of a spoilt little girl. "Like, I want this new makeup and he says it's too expensive! I gotta look good for my boyfriend when we have sex again. It's just not fair!"

Eppie lifted her hands away from her face, smirking over the thoughts of replying with something sarcastically rude. Veronica apparently noticed and interrogated the girl with a, "What do you find so funny?"

Padding her face down with a paper towel Eppie paused for a second, wondering if it was right to tell the girl what was passing through her mind. She sighed, giving in to her temptations. "You don't need the make-up to convince everyone that you're a whore."

The next moment was completely unexpected as Eppie felt the oddest floating sensation, her feet had mysteriously been swept out from underneath her. Veronica had kicked aside the girl's legs causing Eppie to lose balance, causing her to fall to the ground below. She fell like a ragdoll as her chin passed the sink, clipping it, causing her teeth to bite down deep into her own tongue. Eppie landed hard on her knees, hands covering her mouth in pain as she heard the three laugh at her misfortune. Veronica leaned over to see if the girl needed a hand—not that she would ever offer one.

Eppie turned towards Veronica and spat a bloody glob in her face, snarling as she yelled out. "Just piss off you bitch!"

A silent reply as Veronica froze. The two girls behind her slowly changing their expressions to that of absolute horror.

"Veronica?"

The pair of girls ran off screaming like banshees, screaming tales of murder as Veronica collapsed onto Eppie. Veronica's head was flowing with pools of blood, both the small forehead wound and the large, gaping hole at the back of the skull. Eppie held her classmate in her arms, trembling, panicking, trying to understand what just happened.

"Oh god! No! I didn't want this!" She whimpered, feeling the tears gradually flow down her cheeks, hearing the rush of footsteps come towards the bathroom, "Veronica! I'm sorry. I'm so sorry..."
