Alright, here's my guy. Still a little WIP.

In Depth Appearance:
Zhou is one of those people you can immediately spot as not being of royalty or nobility in terms of mannerisms in the traditional sense. His slick hair is tainted with the salty scent of the sea as its often combed over in one rough, seemingly unmanaged way or another (sometimes with the use of copious amounts of hair spray and gel). A wicked, adventurous smile adorns his face with several small cuts and bruises are hidden by make up cover some more of both his face and body. Zhou's tall build has a good amount of muscles built up on it after years of fist fights and manual labor. When he walks, there is a notable swagger and sway to the nearly six foot man, Zhou's legs from all his time on the ship yet when he would other wise appear to become unbalanced, his balance never breaks. From time to time, Zhou might have a bit of beard or a chin stubble, keeping it for a few days before returning to his clean shaved looks.

Despite preferring more common clothes and sometimes pirate "armor", he does give in to wear more formal clothing. He's divided between modern suits with trenchcoats and traditional Chinese robes.

Zhou is untrained in the ways of a noble. Sure, he knows his manners and not what to do around guests but he doesn't know the fine intricacies of being of royal blood. Being gentle or exercising restraint is not his strong suit and is prone to using aggressive language or physical blows against those he deems that its necessary against. Zhou has a rather warped philosphy and see being too passive as a sign of weakness as it constantly giving in. He's blunt, uncouth, and snarky, but he'll follow you to the end if you convince him too.

He's appearance often gives off the look of lacking grace and elegance, like playing heavy metal in the middle of a classical orchestra. Zhou isn't afraid of what other royals would see as "dishonorable" or "disrespectful", only remembering a certain amount of social cues at any given moment. Zhou also tends to do hell-face turns on what he says on occasion, ignoring his own hypocrisy and flaws in his logic and can get a bit childish. But he does keep at least the look of a someone his age, just a bit... rougher around the corners. He's got style and he can have class, its just not the classy style expected of a royal gentleman.

Biography:
Zhou's story starts when his father and the uncle of Mai Mei, Ming Mei, was young and stupid and intoxicated and impregnated a woman. Once Ming had gotten word that the woman he impregnated gave birth, he had sent men to make sure that news would never get out and possibly besmirch his political chances. However, in her final hours, Zhou's mother hid her baby away and put him out of reach Ming's grasp, sending baby Zhou away on the Yellow River in a basket with a note that would explain everything, but what his actual name was. In her haste, his mother never gave him a proper name, just referring to him as just "prince".

In his basket boat, Zhou floated down river until he was picked up by not just anyone, but pirates and smugglers and criminals. The baby bastard prince had been picked up the the 54 Immortals, a group of pirates and smugglers who raided ships off the coast of Liang. There was an idea of ransoming the kid but then the leaders of the 54i came down, Ironhand Han. He took notice of the child who floated down river and how it smiled and reached out for him, even with his metal fake limbs.

Taking immediate liking of the boy, Ironhand Han proclaimed that this new boy would be his son and named him Zhou as a genetic disorder prevented him from ever having a child of his own. He raised the prince as his own and took him, turning him into a fine pirate raider. However, Han always hid the note from his mother so that Zhou would never know where he was really from and turn him in.

Of course, fate has an interesting way with things and one day when Zhou was 15, his mother's letter had surfaced and come to his attention after a friend had found it while room cleaning. Upon discovering the letter, an intense shouting match between Zhou and Han ensued with the young Zhou standing his ground in the face of the much older man. Finally, at the urging of his crew, Han decided to let Zhou go and find the father who once wanted him dead as long he kept in touch and found a way to expunge their crimes.

In Depth Appearance:
At an even 5’10" and a decent 167lbs, Amun is somewhat above the average height in Egypt, a trait common among his family. His build is slim, but firm; he is undeniably muscular, though in a way that suggests fitness via activity, rather than deliberately working out. His body features good proportions with strong arms and legs and a defined chest. His skin is a warm coppery tone with few blemishes other than the odd small scar, and his hair is a deep, thick black, usually tied in a messy braid or bun, and rarely left untied. His eyes are a rich brown with streaks of copper, giving them an oddly rust-coloured hue from a distance. He walks with an easy stride and can be most often found wearing an easy grin.

Clothing-wise, Amun is quite the stylish prince. He greatly enjoys looking good (after all, looking good is part of feeling good) and takes great joy in showing himself off. He, like the rest of the Egyptian royal family, usually wears traditional Egyptian clothing, featuring heavily jewelled collars, headdresses, and jewellery. He’s also a big fan of traditional Egyptian makeup, and wears all that eyeliner with pride. His interest in fashion, of course, stems further than his traditional clothing; he’s been known to enthusiastically adopt the fashion of other countries when he visits, especially if he likes what he sees. He’ll go anywhere from the most traditional garb to pricey modern designer styles depending on his mood, and wears everything with unbridled confidence.

All his life, Amun had the advantageous position of living in the very pinnacle of luxury with few real responsibilities to attend to. This, naturally, bloomed a young man with life in the palm of his hand, and happy to take advantage of it. While not inherently greedy or even overly materialistic, Amun has absolutely no problem with exercising his wealth, be it for an extravagant party or a generous donation to a food bank. He believes that yes, money is meant to be spent, but that doesn’t mean there’s no reason to share it.
Amun has always acted as the comic relief in a family full of big decisions and even bigger shoes to fill. He’s always ready with a joke or a quick-witted remark to diffuse tension, and tends to respond to criticism and insult with little more than a laugh and a shrug.

Amun is the type to wear his emotions on his sleeve, at least, when the world’s cameras aren’t on him. He feels everything; be it manic happiness or crushing depression, he works through his emotions naturally and embraces them, knowing that one cannot have happiness without sadness, and vice versa. He strives to be the best person he can be, but doesn’t push himself overly hard; He has very little to prove, and the only eyes he needs to glow in are his own. In sum, he lives life as it comes at him, wanting himself and everyone around him to have the best life they can. Whether this ambition brings him to a nightclub or a charity event, he’s fine to ride along.

Amun’s country and family are richly steeped in history, and as an extent, so is he. He adores his own culture and traditions, right down to ceremonial offerings to the gods and all the intricacies of Egyptian court etiquette. He himself sticks to the ancient pantheon and some ancient mythology and superstition, mostly out of interest (of course, he doesn't let mythology or religion get too far in the way of logic). Though one wouldn’t guess it, tradition fascinates him, and he’s content to embrace it (unless it crosses his strong, yet obscure, moral lines). He also enjoys learning the cultures and traditions of others, including everything from language to regional foods and dances. He’s also passionate about sharing culture: he wants to share his love for his own with the world, and wants the world to share its other beautiful cultures with him.

Biography:

Amunemhet Ramesses Sipar was born the middle child of three, and one of the latest links in the chain of the Sipar Dynasty, one that has ruled Egypt for nearly three hundred years. From birth, life was somewhat imbalanced for the siblings of the royal family. Each child had some kind of role, from Amun's older brother's role as heir to his little sister's destiny to become a priestess or political figure of some kind. Amun's own destiny was likely to become royal high vizier, grand general of the armies, or something of the sort. As a result, there was some disparity between their upbringings.

Amun's brother, Amunemhet Menes Sipar (often referred to by the press as Amunemhet V or Menes II) was trained from the moment he could walk to be a great leader. He was tutored in politics, warfare, trained in traditional and modern combat, and acted as his father's shadow in all his duties as Pharaoh. Amun himself was equally educated and shared many of his brother's subjects (after all, how was he expected to advise the Pharaoh without knowing what he was talking about?), but took a far more lax approach. In his mind, Menes could do it all: He was a king from birth, born to lead. Amun figured his brother wouldn't need him.

As a result, Amun took on a very different attitude. While his brother took a mindful, wise approach to everything, Amun took a playful one. He disregarded some subjects (politics, strategy, etc.) and excelled in others (language, traditional combat, history) and continually acted as the wild one of the family. The press loved him: The happy, sarcastic, easygoing little prince was a huge hit with the people, someone they could relate to, whereas most Pharaohs and princes before had been stone-faced and silent. Amun took a liking to the press and the people as well, never one to turn down an interview or a conversation with the locals unless something was very wrong.

On the subject of family, Amun was lucky. While his father was a stern and quiet ruler, he was still a kind and loving man at heart. His mother was gentle and caring, his brother fun behind the stoic Pharaoh-in-training venir. However, shortly before the birth of their younger sister, the family was stricken with tragedy.

When Amun was twelve, his father passed away. There was no heroic story, no assassination to brood over, nothing of the sort - the aging Pharaoh simply succumbed to a heart attack at sixty-three. This spurred the royal family to action; after the mourning and burial, then-nineteen-year-old Menes took the throne.

In the seven years since, Amun has regained his lighthearted personality, though watching his brother age as he ruled has taken somewhat of a toll. His sister, Neferhati Engi Sipar (or Engi) grew up close to Amun, and Egypt so far has been better for the new Pharaoh. There was a scare when Amun was sixteen and Menes was diagnosed with leukaemia, but after a hard three-year battle, Menes seems to be in remission and healing.

When the news came about the arranged marriage, however, Amun was somewhere between confused and outraged. It was so strange; Since ancient times, marriage in Egypt had been all about love (outside of immediate throne heirs). Sure, Pharaohs used to marry their siblings to keep the line pure (something that hasn't been done for centuries, mind you) or perhaps marry to avoid the immediate threat of war, but otherwise all other Egyptians were always free to marry whomever they chose. Even within the royal family, arranged marriages were strange for anyone aside from the Pharaoh's direct heir.

Menes told him that new alliances had to be made in order for Egypt to continue on as the powerful and wealthy kingdom it was, and due to other kindgoms' cultures, marriage was the only way. The story made sense, and Amun did not have the political knowledge to disprove it. However even now, as Amun reluctantly accepts his duty, he has his doubts and his worries about what this really means; for himself, for the country, and for his brother.

@HaleyTheRandom Hopefully my CS will be up tonight, the past 2 nights I've been working so I haven't had the chance to get it written up. I was wondering though, are the characters meant to get married shortly after they meet, and then the drama unfolds after the weddings? Or do they get married after those 3 months of getting to know one another? Also, do I have to rename my kingdom, or can I use Egypt's name?

Okay, so here's my character. I just put an actual biography this time.

Brief-ish summary of Königreich der Welten

Königreich der Welten ("Kingdom of Worlds") is an advanced, first-world country that incorporates some of the best teachings and ideas of all other countries into its own universities, producing intelligent students that often go on to become prominent scientific revolutionaries, capable military commanders, and efficient manufacturers and inventors. Where the Kingdom of Aciras is a sort of Cultural beacon, Königreich der Welten is a military and intellectual beacon. They are the Germany that never fought the World Wars, meaning that they never had such severe setbacks and have a strong military (akin to today's American military), as well as the startling intelligence of many German people (Most of American's greatest innovations were done by Germans).

That being said, Königreich der Welten doesn't have as much resource-rich lands, nor do they have the largest industry (though they are prominent innovators of a great many things, such as cars, guns, tanks, aircraft, watercraft, and other larger pieces of technology, as well as some of the more secure, expensive portable pieces of technology), and because of their more hands-off attitude (besides terrorists and smaller, more rogue nations), lack as much diplomatic power and influence. On the social and political scene, they're rather laidback and neutral, though many do have feelers out, trying to predict or sway Königreich's actions.

In Depth Appearance:
Niklas is a tall, well-built lad, though not especially large or bulky. He has the posture of a soldier, or an old-fashioned proper gentleman, rather than the more modern teenage slouch. He has bright hazel eyes, and large hands, rough from use already. Should he wear short sleeves, one will seen scars on the outside of his forearms, small and short to slightly longer, thicker ones, all of them straight from a clean cut. A scar on his left hand, from the middle of his middle finger, stretching all the way down to his wrist, curving away from him, slightly, long and thin. Decently sized shoulders act as a base to a normal-proportioned head and neck, with brown hair.

Niklas is an outward, friendly character who doesn’t appreciate, or take, any shit whatsoever, unless he is aware that it is joking and friendly, and not serious. He has some tolerance, more so for less intelligent people, but he has a tendency to try to solve things like a gentleman- through a duel, or something similar. If such a thing does not let up, he gets vicious, to the point of broken bones. And while casual, he's a goofy, fun person to be around, that'll have a great time without breaking a single rule. Well, only one or two rules.

Biography: Niklas is his father’s son- a proud, independent individual who values honor and intelligence, and won’t put up with any bullshit. He can be kind and caring, and can go out of his way to help some one. He’s someone that wants to help, though he becomes the opposite if you piss him off. He can be patient, if he sees some value in it. And for the most part- he doesn’t believe in love. He sees maybe compatible matches, where both sides don’t mind the other, but little more.

He grew up in his father's palace, exploring its vast corridors, rooms, wings, and ballrooms. The entire building is designed to operate both as the Royal Family's home, an emergency military headquarters (being an extremely modern, advanced, and resilient building, renovated every decade to incorporate the latest technology), and an emergency bunker for civilians in the case of a bomb raid. From a young age, he was taught both by his mother and father, as well as several tutors and a nurse that took care of the more day-to-day maintenance of a child.

The child, growing up around what was essentially a sprawling modern castle, became quite pampered [if quite intelligent]. It was around the time that his mother disappeared; officially, she went into seclusion, without any more public sightings, no more diplomatic meetings that involved the gentler side of the Königreich Royalty. She disappeared; Niklas was left stumped and abandoned, without his loving mother to be there. He didn't rely on her as much as other children relied on their mothers, of course, but he always chose her over his father, or the tutors or maids. Suddenly at a loss at his young age of 12, his father finds his perfect solution, to both his military inexperience (required to rule), to his sudden loss of matron, and to his self-centered pamperedness.

Seven years in the military, training both as a traditional soldier, as well as taking classes for becoming an officer. Like any rich politician's son or daughter in the Konig's Welt Armee ("King's World Army"), he was placed into common ranks, without any significant influence to bolster his ranking. His promotions and doings are based on merit, earned by hard work and skill. Officer Academy on the side was, however, default for the upper class trainees, though, again, no one was allowed to coast. All had to work; all earned their achievements.

The Königreich fully expected that, at some point or another, something will require the Königreich's military power. Widely regarded to be the military superpower of the world (See: American military power of the modern day), as well as one of the origin of some of the most widely known and respected intellectual minds, Niklas gained the national pride of many in Königreich der Welten, proud to be part of one of the most advanced and powerful nations in the world. People from the Kingdom of Aciras might find the structured, cozy lifestyle of the common folk of Königreich der Welten cramped, crowded, and with a military that spends too much time on the streets, though it never bothers any of the populace any.

Anyone who's done any research on Niklas will know that he is trained as if he were in dire need of hand-to-hand combat, traditional bladed combat, and is ranked as a top sharpshooter. Also is known to be an intelligent tactician, and a people person, because of his often outings into the capital city, Berlin, and many droves of fans, friends, and acquaintances.
