Villain Meeting

Jason remained quiet as the various members present supported, more or less, the idea to destroy the Community. Their reservations weren't necessarily uncalled for, though plenty had remained quiet so far (including two of his teammates, though he didn't really expect Sofia to speak up).

He was about to speak up about Sabotage's concerns when an unexpected visitor pushed through into the bar.

He frowned beneath his helmet, glancing subtly towards the one he knew previously as Broker with annoyance. What was this?

He smacked his hands together, calling attention back to himself. "I think I speak for everyone here when I say I would like for you to expand, Broker." His voice remained level, but perhaps he did shift slightly closer (protectively?) towards Sofia. Running through his knowledge on the present Capes, he didn't think any had Thinker abilities, so he causally activated his comm line, barely speaking audibly. He hoped the others had treated this like the mission it was and had remained equipped with their own comms. "I have a bad feeling in my gut. I'll continue to remain the focus for us, but stay alert..."

Whip, meanwhile, had shifted her chair closer to the wall and was glaring at this 'Broker' character. "Bloody fucking bastards thinking they decide everything," she muttered, glancing at Sabotage. At least she was sensible and pure, unlike most of the people present.

She stood up, her chair shooting back with audible protest. "Bastards like Patriarch deserve to die. Bastards trying to control you deserve to die. And bastards who trick you can get fucked."

Her outburst was... Oddly calm given her explosive movement. Was she actually angry or....?

She flicked her wrist and looked down in surprise, her face scrunching up in irritation. "Why doesn't it work? Why doesn't it....."

She sat down suddenly, muttering fiercely to herself as she continued to attempt....something, oblivious to everyone else suddenly.

Heroes Meet (AKA Best Day Ever!)

Lillian smiled at Alessa, following her gaze towards the two shapely heroes where Sylph seemed incredibly flustered.

Idly she wondered if she could get Alessa that adorably flustered. She would probably be cute with a bit of a flush creeping across her face....

Grinning mischievous she decided she was going to have to find a way to test that theory. For science!

Stifling a fit of giggling, Lillian went to reply to Alessa's question when suddenly Overlook called out.

Without even thinking, Lillian pulled on Alessa to the nearest cover and covered her ears at the thunderous crack as.... Something big and Rocky erupted from the ground.

"Are you okay, A-errr-Messiah?" Lillian asked, peeking over the table she'd flipped when she's noticed others doing such. She thought this might have actually have been her own table, actually...

See recognized that man, though. It was in the files she'd had to memorize about local villain threats the PRT knew about. But..."I thought Ceramix was in Boulder?" she said quietly, wondering if everyone else noticed him at the top of that golem.

She pressed on her comms, glad she'd automatically put it on when she's gotten in costume. She hesitated, wondering if she was the only one to be wearing one. This wasn't supposed to be something they'd have needed them for.

Shaking herself mentally she pressed the comms and spoke up. "Ceramix. Rockers' leader. Second in command Shatterpoint. I don't see anything indicating he's here too, but....I think it's likely. I'm with Messiah, what's our orders?" she spoke quickly, itching to transform. He was huge but.... She could get bigger than that. Even if that rock would hurt, if she got big enough it wouldn't be that bad right?

"Back me up, beautiful?" she asked Messiah, a lopsided grin on her face as she pulled up the other girl's hand she was still holding, kissing it lightly. "Like we promised, right? Better. Much better."

She was, of course, referencing their promise that the next 'mission' didn't end like the warehouse. But she felt light, much lighter than before, but with this hint of fire. She couldn't let this beautiful, wonderful girl get hurt.

A Whispy Trail

@GingerBoi123

The second floor was, unexpectedly perhaps, deserted. There was a single door, behind which was a room covered in dust and cobwebs. The furniture was under that odd plastic, pushed against the walls haphazardly, and all in all it was mildly depressing at the utter abandoned state of the room.

However, sitting perfectly in the center of the room was another note with "Spectre" clearly written in the same script as the first note.

Spectre,
Sorry to disappoint you, but this isn't really a face to face kind of meeting. I'm sure you were curious what kind of person would be paying this kind of cash. Speaking of, check under that table in the left back corner. There's a suitcase, full of the first half.

Still interested, I'm assuming? Great. In two hours, while most everyone else important is tied up in other business, I want you to watch for a certain man exciting a bar at the location provided below. The Target will be in a lab coat, wearing a gas mask most likely. He is armed and dangerous, and you're to pull him away from the bar for as long as you can.

Chasing Dreams

@Spiffy

The Questioner laughed at Mantis' words, before she turned him with serious eyes. "I want that bit of my map back, and I want you to stop using that emotion influence on me. It's rude, you know, and if you can't even be polite when I'm sure you can't even pay my standard fee I'll have to ask you to leave."

With a bit of a grimace she leaned against a stack of books. "Look, I'm a Rogue. I can't do stuff for free or everyone wants it for free. I ain't some Protectorate dog. You give me back my stuff, apologise, and I'll consider lowering the fee."

She held out her hand expectantly. "I can't give you Patriarch, there's not enough threads. I've tried. But I can give you someone else. I'm not sure who, but I know it's one of his. But, but, but! You can't do this alone. Not just an empath...." She considered for a moment, pursing her lips. "No, manipulator. Not just a manipulator like you. I hope you got a team or something. Don't care though. As long as you pay."

She wrote down something suddenly, a series of scribbled notes? "500 in cash and I never want to see your face again here. Deal?"

Near the Hole in the Wall

Rain watched in detached fascination at what pooling her venom had done to the little pixie. So much for breakfast, but...

She glanced back at the bonfire. She could use these 'skill points' on what she knew, make them better. That seemed fairly straight forward. Even if these visions weren't...

"Put five skill points into.... Poison Glob?" she said hesitantly. She'd continue different variations of that phrase until she had implemented her points, if necessary.

Moving to the remains of the Pixie, she'd look to eat any viable meat that might exist on the corpse, but she wasn't hopeful. At least she had ate not long before sleep.

Again she looked at the bonfire. Crispy was resistant to her basic spit, but....

She'd never seen anything cause such damage like what she had just done.

Yes. It was time.

Slithering closer, she gained her advantage as she had last time she'd got Crispy. And she was pleased to note there were only four other Goblins! That big one was gone, as were the rest. And other than that small female the other Goblins were too busy with wood to necessarily react quickly.

But... She'd need to get closer. This.... 'Glob' didn't have the same range her normal shot did. And her normal shot was, well, relatively useless against Crispy.

So she set forward, carefully and slowly, hoping her natural stealth would be sufficient to get her within range.

But now... She needed to wait for the right moment to strike. Not while he was talking with the female....
Count me interested. Given it's you running this, I'm sure it'll go masterfully.

Rain awoke, pleased to note that it was still on the early side for the cave. Crispy's fire was dwindling, though if habit continued then he would be bringing it to a billow soon.

Stretching, she considered her options. Breakfast and looking to strike Crispy from the records sounded like a good plan. She hoped to find that group from yesterday, before the big moron had intervened, but if it came down to it she might have to take it alone.

With a flick of her tongue she set out, using her natural stealth and Muffle passive effect (whatever the hell all that screen stuff was) to avoid undue notice. It wouldn't do to awaken a pack of rats, for example.

Looking up, something so many creatures and people forgot to do, she noticed a pixie near the wall, not far from some Mana crystals. It would be a small walk over, but keeping the Target from noticing her was crucial. It wouldn't be a big meal, but something was better than nothing.... She knew that well enough.

Stopping, she took the time to pool her venom on a whim. Arguably couldn't she just have more venom per blob if she made the shot more..... Condensed? Was that the term she had heard before.

Ideally this would take down the Pixie in a single go, but realistically she was more worried about hitting the Target.... Aim, aim....

And GO!

Letting out the shot, Rain prepared to fire a second if she missed (or the damned Pixie lived, really).

Rain frowned at his words, but decided to let the Slime be. As much as she's have enjoyed the added protection his hole could give, she wasn't concerned enough to simply push for it.

She had survived plenty in the open before.

Carefully she slithered around the area, looking for a safe place to rest. Well, safer anyways. There seemed to be a little indent in the wall nearby, a few rocks around the area providing minor safety.

It would work, she supposed as she curled up for slumber.

The flyer had left, and Rain began to drift slowly into sle-

The sound of Jason breaking through into...a cave? Is that what they would be call? She wasn't familiar with this concept of hollow holes in a cave.

Pulling herself to her feet, she meandered over towards the hole the slime had made, covered by rocks it seemed.

"Jason?" she asked hesitantly.
Wisps have the most. Lizards have 3 active. Pixies and goblins and slimes are about even, and I think we have 3 rats at the moment?
This is rough for me, but here's the 7 day call out, for those involved in Villain meeting and those at the Hero meet and greet.

For the villains:
@Xandrya,[@Eklipse],@Floodtalon,@BCtheEntity,@Yoshua171, @Gardevoiran

Nora:
[@Solokos]

The heroes:
@t2wave, BC, Yosh, Gard, Solo, @LemonZest1337

.....I think that's everyone.

Basically, if you're not myself, Platty, Gingy, or Spiffy you're being called out.

Except for Lugs, who gave prior notice of his inability to update.

Rain hissed in satisfaction, her maw dripping with blood from her kill. Quick, simple, effective. Exactly how she wanted to work in this new world.

No mistakes. She couldn't afford to make them.

But... Goblins weren't an option now. They were gathering in droves, going to the bonfire with that bastard Crispy.

She shook her head, flinging rat blood around, before she headed back towards where the slime had been. What was his name?

Ah, she wasn't even entirely sure where he was. Maybe....

Ah yes, here it was but there was an intruder there, as well. Speaking? Maybe. It wasn't very good, if it was.

For now she would wait and watch from the shadows, the darkness her shroud. Either it was yet another like her group, or it was a target, an aberration. And maybe something would entice her into action.

For now, though, she was growing sleepy while she waited. Maybe she could level up her venom in the morning, like her stealth.

Zeroth won't be online until late, if at all, today iirc.

Having heard nothing to the contrary, I feel confident saying he's still accepting applications.
