This will make my wife's day. Did you see where I was going with her and her character's reason for being in New Athens? Wasn't sure where you were planning to go with your guys but saw you crashed your ship and the wife made mention of her seeing some of the wreckage when coming up on the container and the creature.

In the end though she has a ship and you guys could partner up for something. Or Slipstream could steal her ride LOL

An evil Raven type would be fine, but her dad's a bit too powerful though. You could submit a CS for her as your secondary character, but the dad I'd have to insist on being in the sandbox so I could help fine tune him into something and have more a hand in how he's brought into the fold. Cause something like Trigon coming to the Earth plane of existence is a big deal and most certainly a game changer. Send me what you've got as far as the CS's in a PM and any ideas you had for them going into the game.

Aliens and Gotham don't really mix. Like I said, there's gonna be a limit to how many metahumans I accept in the game unless somebody takes on RP'ing as some of Batman's rogues with powers.

For anybody who wants to submit a CS with an original metahuman, know that they can't be too powerful and know I'm only gonna accept two or three. Sooner you get a finished CS in the better I can make the call if the character's gonna be accepted or not. Not gonna pre-approve unfinished sheets...

That's what I was doing with the Liberty Son guy pulling an Injustice Superman in my next post and STRIKE recruiting a team to take him down. I've got part of a new iCheck worked up, it's just different than what I had originally since we're moving along with the story and I'm fleshing out STRIKE and setting up the aforementioned fallen hero as a badguy.

@Parfex Already restarted the game once, probably won't do it again. We're rolling with this thread till the wheels fall off...

Dude @WanderingSpirit I'm already digging the idea.

Also am I the only one who's bringing a superhero to this? Because it feels like I am so far. If that's the case I was imagining like an Iron Fist style character who works naturally for a Chinese restaurant. A Tony Jaa and Jackie Chan's styled character.

Of course I'm willing to let KL have the call on if he would prefer that or Lucas Thomas, Plastic Man II to make a return.

I'll likely put a limit on how many metahumans are in the RP, but either one could work after edits are made for the little stuff. Madcap could tie into the Jokerz street gang and be a villainess, or just doing her own thing Harley Q style, etc. The second character seems a lot like Raven and I can dig that.

Powers/Skills: Has light weight body armor, a tech glove that's basically a five fingered laptop that can jack into anything, hacking skills, good with anything involving tech. He's also good at sneaking around and being stealthy.
Weaknesses: Average human weaknesses. His light armor only protects him from small arms fire. Certain areas vulnerable to bladed weapons, and heavy arms fire can rip through the armor. Never gets enough sleep, always up late on the computer or tinkering with his glove. Average h2h skills for someone with little to no training. He's watched 'Rocky' like a hundred times and a huge fan of ex-boxer Ted Grant.

* Babs and maybe a hero with more exp than J can train him in h2h and he'll begin carrying a baton as a weapon.

Yeah I think I'm gonna make a tech nerd a more mobile Oracle type character. He'll be crappy at h2h for awhile and mostly JUST be good for breaking down anything technological. He's got a self made tech gauntlet that's like a super laptop attached to his arm.

It all began the day that Batman was reported dead at the hands of an enemy of the Justice League. Crime boomed again in the darkened city, and only two of Batman's most trusted allies were left to take care of Wayne Enterprises and the city itself. Dick Grayson saw to it that the world still believed Bruce Wayne was alive. Using some of the same make-up that went into the creation of Clayface, Grayson assumed the identity of Bruce Wayne with the help of Alfred and Bruce's corporate friend Lucius Fox. It was more work than the former sidekick ever imagined, and with all the gossip on Wayne in the tabloids Dick managed to be a better billionaire playboy philanthropist than even Bruce in his younger years. He even put on an additional thirty pounds of muscle to look the part. Barbara Gordon on the other hand, had the weight of the city resting on her shoulders...

Grayson had things covered making sure the world believed Bruce was still alive. Batman's contingency plan for Batgirl however had her taking more of a role in protecting the streets at night. Babs didn't think 'Batgirl' was the answer. When Grayson was a kid and needed help when Batman wasn't around he formed the Titans. So the idea in Barbara's mind was to recruit other heroes in the fight to protect the city. Bruce's contingency plan included a new base of operations, 'the Belfry' which was cloaked and right in the heart of the city. Batgirl wasn't the answer though. Babs spent the next two nights modifying gear, and even dying her hair black, and rechristened herself as Batwoman. What other would be heroes and possible metahumans will she meet and ally herself with? What new threats await Batwoman and the new champions of Gotham?

In the comics there are quite a few heroes and villains to come out of Gotham. You can reimagine one of the existing ones, create an original character, or even be a cop from the GCPD or a thug in the Jokerz gang if you want. There's even a group of street kids trying to be the next Robin or Batgirl... The idea is for this RP to be a sandbox, with Batwoman as a GM NPC moving any larger plots forward. You can come in and do your own thing, join a group of heroes along with Batwoman to defend Gotham, or you could even do something like come in as a newspaper reporter or be a civilian living in the same crazy world as the rest of us.

The RP is loosely based on the current arc of Detective Comics and uses new concepts such as the Belfry, as well as my Titans of Gotham RP from awhile back. Rather than use the current Batwoman, I had Babs step up and assume the mantle to inspire others. The biggest difference in this RP and the Titans RP is in this game you can be a hero OR villain of any age. And rather than Grayson/Robin being the dead guy, it's Bruce/Batman.

Just gonna put this out there for now to see if anybody's down. I put this off after joining a sandbox Gotham RP, but since that game was ended there's been a void that requires vigilante Batman-esque shenanigans. I'll post a CS template if there's enough interest!

The first order of business for any would be allies of Batwoman is dealing with a particular enemy of Batman's running around in a cape and cowl as well...

@Jotunn Draugr That's kinda like a game changing villain if he's that powerful. Any enemies should be lower tier, leave the game changing Galactus and Apocalypse level threats to @Aro and myself!

I like it though, just cut back on some of the powers if you wanna use this guy. Also, secondary characters are meant to be an additional character when you're stuck with your primaries. If you have a one note villain, it'll get old real quick and you're likely to get stuck writing two characters into corners.
