DC Rebirth is completely killing it while Marvel continues to lose half it's fanbase. I only bring up the Defenders because of the song that Kurt Cobain would've NEVER let get put into something mainstream [unless he loved the superhero of course]. When I heard bits of a Nirvana song in a Jay-Z track I knew it was the end of that era.

The only Defenders related show that was good was Daredevil. They don't seem to wanna make the others superheroic enough, and even Punisher is more comically accurate than the other three series. I'd hoped Ghost Rider would be a Netflix series then they went and used him on AoS.

Marvel REBORN (ALWAYS OPEN!)

“Why are you doing this?” the fiery woman asked the Atlantian Prince from the sky.

Prince Namor II was every bit the douchebag his father was and hated the surface world for polluting his father’s mind. Making him believe he needed to be a ‘hero’ to these people. The nerve. After decades the original mutant Prince took a blue skinned Atlantian as his wife and had two children, Namor II and the current Queen… Sauora. Namor II acted foolishly and without the council of his sister the Queen. He didn’t bother dealing with the girl in the sky, rather pulling the harness on his sea beast to make it snarl and shoot water out of its nose and mouth at the girl. As she fell from the sky into the ocean below Jacob had finally had it with these water breathers. Now fighting alongside the new Darkhawk and some girl with powers, he gave them fair warning.

“Watch your feet, the grounds about to quake!” he yelled in the throes of battle with his fists of stone wielding a large stone club.

The ground did indeed quake and more stone and earth lifted from seemingly out of nowhere. Many of the blue skinned Atlantians were taken down and retreated towards the water. Jacob used the rocky debris to begin forming his stone suit. The second it finished he leaped into the air towards the sea monster and the man on it’s back. One crack to the monster’s jaw had it retreating and the new Prince dived at the hero. Soon after the Prince met what would’ve been the jaw of Jacob if not for his Full Power Thing suit of stone.. Still, the Prince knocked the kid into the water and he skipped like a flat stone towards the beachfront. Unless the Thing made little Earth quake islands he wasn’t fighting this dude in the ocean. Thankfully the Prince’s pride took over and he swam as hard and as fast as he could to the surface. Half a mile in under a minute wasn’t bad for him, but for the heroes…?

“Either of you two got any ideas? Fishstick’s coming in fast!” the Thing asked dissipating his stone armor for a few moments on the beachfront as the two heroes continued taking down any remaining Atlantian soldiers still too dumb to retreat.

@Western Robot She'd definitely need a holo-watch or something. She could stay at HQ but there's still the four non-superhuman students staying in the facility. My next post will pick up the next morning after with Nightwing getting everyone to school.

@The Kid Lantern That micro is nothing how I originally imagined Speed Demon to look but it is freaking awesome and way better than what I imagined. All that work of yours defiantly payed off.

@BlackSam3091 Truth be told, that kinda why I liked it so much. I'm not a huge fan of the Thor movies but I love Planet Hulk and the 80s aesthetic. It's a huge departure from normal Thor which just looks wicked.

Plus Thor in space might mean Beta Ray Bill cameo.

When I mentioned seeing a couple aliens would make me more excited for the film, Bill was top of the list along with Skrulls. Too bad Fox controls the Shi'ar...

@rocketrobie2 Meh, I'm not sure what I think about the new Thor trailer. It really doesn't scream 'THOR' to me. I don't see any of the characters personality coming out. Looks more like another Guardians of the Galaxy sequel.

I JUST watched it. I get where you're coming from with the GotG comparison. And the classic rock track. Perfect song though LOL

Thor finally gets a helmet. So that's a plus. IDK about his short hair though. Hela looks amazing. Hulk looked like Hulk, and Thor's reaction to seeing him was funny. If we see a couple more aliens in the background of this I'll be a lot more excited. The classic 70's logo for Ragnarok was sweet too.

I was all over the place with this micro. One minute I was going for something of a futuristic viking armor mixed with motocross. Then I went with the leather jacket and pants and a more demonic head and horns, then after losing that because I forgot to save my work I started trying to do something to really set it apart. I thought about what if a Demon like character was Ghost Rider. How would it differ from the skull head, what else could be done with the suit, etc... so there's a bit of a fire effect meant in the glowing lines of his suit. His lance is also composed of solid hellfire. He's a little taller than avatar size: Speed Demon...
