I mean we had plenty of character development going before we were forcibly time skipped. I'd like to actually play out the mall shenanigans if there's going to be any pending the collab and other developments. Obviously if it ends up being only Nike and Karlie who want to skip, it's in the best interest of the RP to skip forward but if the whole group wants to go to the mall, then there's a lot of substance that could be played out there. Rev and Nike are both alien to society and there's a lot of fun to be had with the fish out of water scenario there. Plus there's Karsin's budding flirtation with Karlie, Nike and Rev's difference of opinions and other small elements to be played out. Combat is great and all but it's not really the meat of the RP.

Plus, something could attack the mall! I think it's better to be flexible and roll with what the players have provided in the IC rather than shoehorning us into a predetermined situation simply because it's more convenient.

I think I mentioned when I wrote the time skip you guys could still elaborate on what had happened, I just didn't want to spend a lot more time on our first day.

I was just worried the in-between was killing people's interest with no posts being made in three days. Speed Demon can go and jack a car. Nike can pick a fight with a pro tennis player. Or Stinger could ruin a shoe and need to go on the hunt for a new pair... At some point Nightwing's gonna have to corral you guys. I like the idea of something going down at the mall, but I can't see a superhuman criminal doing something in a public area like that. Maybe Nike could drop a purse snatcher? Ooooor... maybe an electrical disturbance knocks out the power in the mall/city to the point schools canceled anyway?

We can roll with whatever you guys want.

@Just The Wind Well we've got that 3 person collab we're waiting on. I wondered if anybody actually went to school other than the non-supers. We start training tonight [in-game] if you guys would get with the character development and such. I usually get the "not enough time for character development in your games KL" but then when I make time for it games slow to a snail's pace and we lose people.

Once that collab' posted we'll move things forward if nobody else wants to add anything.

If it's in Brooklyn it can't be Midtown cause that one was based on a school in Queens. There's a community college in Sheepshead Bay, but I can't remember the name of it. IDK about high schools though... there IS a Midwood High School.

Google says there's something like 382 schools. Which blows my F'ing mind. Midwood though, close enough to Midtown, but just different enough to be Brooklyn. It's a public school, so everything works out. Location and everything else we can just fudge in there...

I just watched it for like the 5th time today. I said it before, I had faith in the Freeform Network from day one, and they didn't disappoint. Now the shitfest that was Squirrel Girl and the New Warriors might actually be worth a damn, if the rest of the cast isn't shit. Nova likely won't be there because of the Nova Corps in the GotG movies. Justice and Firestar are out because they're mutants. I doubt they gave right to Namor, Namorita, and Atlantis to Freeform so of the original team only Night Thrasher and Speedball remain. I have a feeling we'll see the crappier members like Turbo, Aegis, Bolt, etc... but hey... we may see somebody cool like Darkhawk.

I harass litter bugs obnoxiously. Almost got in a fight with a guy once.

I always thought it would be crazy if [and nobody steal this idea, cause it's gonna be an RP sooner than later...] the world itself turned on us. Rather than zombies or terminators... imagine an army of Swamp Things in all shape and fashion slaughtering humans and obliterating technology for polluting the planet.
