@DocTachyon If you wanted to give him tech one of the later Vigilantes would make more sense. The classic version was always just a charismatic marksman and a bit of a grease monkey. He was just barely considered a hero. Making the cowboy V more than that is kind of a disservice to the character.

Right now I think all three heroes in Gotham could be considered anti-heroes, and the CS doesn't really jump out at me in the same way some of the others have. Super-soldier'ed Anarky doesn't seem fleshed out enough and even in the sheet it says hes at best considered 'a low level gang leader'. Didn't mention anything about weapons, how he was in such good shape, supporting cast, etc.

If he was somebody I could use for Titans or JLU I'd see keep working on the sheet, but right now I think we've got enough anti-heroes. If you've got anybody else in mind for somebody that could be in one of the teams I'd love to see you try something else.

If it's a ruthless werewolf borderline villain it likely won't make the cut. There have been a few were-people in JL though. Tasmanian Devil, Pantha I think had a feral form, Wildcat had a long lost son that could turn into a werepanther, etc. Just gotta be more superheroic.

The Justice League had been active for several years. Their membership included Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern (Alan Scott), and Robot Man. Most of them were already in their 40's, Batman was rumored to be in his 50's. The team took down threats such as Brainiac, the rogue General Eiling, Solomon Grundy and an army of the undead, a Thanagarian Cult, and dozens of others. One year ago the Justice League extended its reach and took in several new heroes to form the Justice League Unlimited. Over the course of the first several weeks the League learned about the existence of a similar group, composed of super criminals, calling themselves the Society and brought together by the devious Lex Luthor Jr.

Present day the world is full of heroes. After the death of Superman seven months ago at the hands of the monstrous creature called Doomsday criminal activity has gone up in several countries around the world. After completing an exo-suit to compensate for the beatings his body had taken the last twenty years, Batman worked with the League in training younger metahumans and such. While the League is operated in Metropolis by Wonder Woman and Robotman, Batman trains the group he’s come to call Titans in San Francisco. Green Lantern is on reserve status with a wife pregnant with twins on the way in the next two to three months, living upstate now about an hour away from Gotham in Jump City. There are several active members of the JLU as well as reserve members on call. Dozens of other costumed individuals have made themselves known over the course of the last year outside of the JLU. Central City, Coast City, Jump City, Star City, Hub City, Bludhaven, New York, San Francisco, and Midway City in America as well as Tokyo, Hong Kong, London, and the small country of Khandaq all have had dozens of reports of superhuman criminal activity with few people standing up to fight.

Rules:

1.) No back-to-back posting.

2.) PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND SET-UPS!!

3.) Make sense. If we can't make heads or tails of your posts they're likely to get skipped over.

4.) Get permission before using another player's character in your posts if it involves changing the scene or making actions. Everybody will take beatings in this game in battle however, so don't get pissed if you get punched or blasted into a wall by the bad guys! Namely me or the Co-GMs controlling the badguys...

5.) Problems with the game or players should be sent directly to me or the Co-GM through PM's. I don't want a bunch of bickering in the OOC. And I don't particularly like it when some random argument costs the game players and story potential. So don't be dicks to each other, just send your concerns to us.

6.) Abandoned characters will be used as NPC's or killed off within the context of the story.

7.) “I was waiting for [insert player/character] to make a move” is not how this game is played.

8.) There is no rule #8. (I actually took this non-rule from an old Lord Wraith RP LOL)

9.) My word is law.

10.) Obey the law.

11.) In the event that I'm offline for any period of time, the Co-GM @Sir Lurksalot and @WXer will take control and THEIR word will then be law.

A New Night: Bruce Wayne is hosting a charity gala and a villain holds the party hostage. Luckily, the entire city was watching and prompts a new breed of heroes to answer the call of action

The Hunt for the Bat: The Bat-signal is lit once more after years of being out of commission. Will this draw the Batman out of hiding?

Moving Day: The Titans move out of Gotham. Can they handle the responsibility of living under the same roof, and will they need to hire movers?!

JLU

Apokolips How?: In this universe Superman and the League have never encountered Darksied or his minions. Until now. What happens when the ruler of the dark planet's son Kalibak is accidentally Boom Tubed to Earth? And who will show up to escort him home?

Jump City Starro's: Alan Scott contacts the JLU when Starros invade Jump City. When the League arrives they're over taken and enslaved by dozens of civilians with Starros on their faces, including Alan Scott! Can the League survive? And how does Luthor Jr.'s Society play into things?

Last Week's Fish: When rumors of Black Manta resurfacing after a long hiatus, Amanda Waller and her newly-formed Suicide Squad has been sent to apprehend Manta regardless of his side on the law. Manta now faces against the original Manta's former ally and friend, King Shark along with other members. Good thing the Justice League's around...

Remember that EACH and EVERY POST needs to have the formatted header I'm giving you guys the coding for. Telekinesis - Blake can move things with his mind, as well as use the power to fly and give him incredible physical strength and durability. Enough so that he can survive in space.

Telepathy - Blake also has one of the strongest minds and can link his thoughts to thousands of others at a time. He can communicate with others, create something of a neural network for teammates, as well as project images and thoughts into people's minds to make them believe in things that aren't there.

Weaknesses:
Gas based attacks, magical based attacks, as well as stronger types of energy attacks [radiation, nuclear, etc] can effect him like most humans. He can also be overpowered physically, his max lift being around 30 tons. That however takes a lot of concentration, which can also hamper him in battle. If there's too much going on he basically suffers from sensory overload and can blackout at times from the mental strain.

Skills:
He's a people person cause he's naturally in everyone's head. He's very peaceful unless innocents are threatened.

BRIEF Bio:
Adam Blake was born in 1931 in a mid-western town on a night when a comet passed. The radiation activated the boy's meta-gene and he grew at an incredible speed. His mind absorbed every bit of knowledge. When it seemed like the world was going to destroy itself during WW2, he left Earth. His power to reach into other's minds was too much to handle when the world was going to war and he found shelter in the stars with other aliens forming the Wanderers.

In 2018, Comet came back to his native home and joined the Justice League at the request of Superman. Comet as well as Wonder Woman were instrumental in helping the Man of Steel defeat the monster called Doomsday, but ultimately could do nothing to save the life of their friend.

Story Arcs:

the Weird: Comet is plagued by the ghost of one of the strangest beings in the universe, the Weird. Wait... is it a ghost? Has the Weird come back or is Blake's own mind playing tricks on him? Either way, Comet's powers are out of control and also effecting the minds of those around him. (JLU Mission)

Comet's In The Society?!: Comet is thought to be one of the original Luthor's Superman clones, so Lex Jr. and the Society aim to make him a member of the Society. With the help of Brainwave and the Enchantress Luthor Jr. sends Comet to take care of his teammates in Metro Tower... (JLU Mission)

Dark Side of the Moon: Comet hears a distress call from the moon, but who could it be? He [with or without another semi-cosmic character from JLU] ventures to space and is attacked by what appears to be either a pack of white Martians, or Durlan shapeshifters?! (Team-Up)

He’s from Gotham, rifts just about anywhere as a hero. He also operates in San Francisco with the Titans.

Day Job:
Student at East Gotham Technical Institute

Powers:
Strength - he can lift 7-10 tons [roughly 20k pounds max].
Speed/Agility - also above average, but also due to being a parkour enthusiast.
Rifting – Derek can create rifts in space/time and teleport anywhere he can think of as well as cross into the Multiverse, Dark Multiverse, and the spaces in between.

Weaknesses:
He can be physically overpowered and is vulnerable to the same things as any human would be in a light body armor suit. Outside of his suit, smaller arms fire doesn’t bother him as much as anything high powered and knives can still do damage. He’s meant to be flawed somewhat in the same ways as Spider-man. He’s human and vulnerable.

Skills:
He’s good with computers and most modern tech. Knows waaaay too much about tv and movies as well as music. His powers make him stealthy when it’s needed. Anything else he just Google’s or watches a YouView video on it.

BRIEF Bio:
During the Justice League’s discovery of the Dark Multiverse some years earlier, 16 year old Derek James fell into an opening into the space between universes. Four days later he woke up with powers allowing him to teleport anywhere he could think of. After coming into contact with the Fuginauts, Derek learned of the Multiverse, the Dark Multiverse, and the space in between called the Hypertime Membrane. Derek would face a dark matter creature from the Dark Multiverse similar in a way to Marvel’s Venom symbiote, however it would consume and manipulate half of Darkstar Science’s staff including their CEO. After a war with Sideways, Batman, and other allies from Gotham the Fuginauts stepped in to help eliminate the Dark Matter’s presence, or so they thought.

After the Dark Matter managed to corrupt one Fuginaut it took nearly all of them and began destroying worlds in the Multiverse and Dark Multiverse. Now only Tempus remains after Sideways cornered them in a dark universe that Tempus destroyed.

Now after having the weight of two Multiverses thrust onto his shoulders in a three year period, Derek focuses on getting grounded back in his universe and joins the Titans after Batman offers him a steady income while attending school.

Story Arcs:
Titans – Sideways is still a big dork and blown away at the chance to work with Batman once again. Most of his arcs will be with the Titans but I might tell a solo story once in awhile. (Titans Missions)

Return of Replicant – The power thief returns after Sideways thought the villain’s use of the rifting power had killed him years prior. However now… he’s powered by Dark Matter. (Team-Up)

Supporting Characters:
Batman, cause Derek lives in Gotham and he’s also a member of Batman’s Titans.
Ernestine Edgars, at 19 years old she’s become the Edna Mode of the DCU and creates looks for several heroes now. Still a potential love interest for Derek but she’s become her own shining star thanks to Sideways.
Replicant, Derek’s first metahuman enemy now also powered by the Dark Matter.

Primary Character: the Comet

Additional Notes: I’ve got a character now on both teams and I’ll be taking a more hands on approach and taking the teams forward and getting missions going and storylines and such. Building towards some big stuff with others’ characters and now I’d like to do that with the teams with Atlantis Attacks and other larger crossover stories.
