So I know we have a couple villainous characters that can alter people's minds and/or control NPC's and I've got an idea for another character to become a villain if one of y'all wanna be *THAT* telepath or whatever LOL. I'm trying to build a small group of rogues while Son also tries to start his own new Alliance. Still talking to I think around three other potential players through PMs and on Discord as well, if I'm remembering right its another hero and two more villains...

ALSO! I'm gonna start making micros of a few characters cause I'm a bit of a visual thinker. Working on Little Guy, Interference, and Spellbound this evening.

After a few minutes of leaping from rooftop to rooftop the Son of Liberty made it to the bank. In fact he was across the four lane street. He could see smoke billowing out of the skylight.

"Great. Something's already on fire..." he started to say out loud before seeing what looked like a super scientist or doctor approaching the police barricade. "Wait... is that somebody new?"

Judah continued to watch as the first officer she approached turned her away. What he assumed was an AI powered crash cart was following behind her and he saw her disappear into a nearby building.

"Well at least I'm not the only one on the scene if something goes down. Plus there's a fifty-fifty chance they're a super paramedic." thought the Son of Liberty as he turned his attention back on the bank and the smoke emitting from the roof of it. And that's when another super powered individual floated into the scene. From across the four lane road and on an opposing rooftop all Judah could really see was the blue hood and cape. He took another super leap and landed near the broken skylight but the hooded figure was already inside face to face with the anarchist known as PyroJack.

As the Son of Liberty dropped down from above an invisible force hit the villain in the back of the head somewhat assisting in the elusion of the blue bolts of lightning being fired from the cloaked teen hero. Now the guy was just pissed off.

"You ready for a superhero team-up?" the Son of Liberty asked the cloaked Spellbound as he gripped his torch.

"I don't know what hit me, but now you're both as good as de..." before PyroJack could finish his sentence something else entirely hit him seemingly out of nowhere.

"Hey G.I. Joe Boy, you gonna hit the guy with your club or just stand there?" said what looked like a red and white talking action figure.

Liberty Son took the swing and managed to KO the confused villain. The sprinklers finally kicked on and doused the flaming desks of the bank tellers after people began exiting the scene to the police and EMS crews outside. Liberty Son stood there with the cloaked teenager before the seasoned hero Little Guy did a super leap of his own onto a chair to address the newer heroes.

"So who got that first shot in on that guy? I'm small and stealthy but I ain't invisible. I think I heard a window shatter maybe?" the red clad micro hero asked.

Elsewhere....

The man once known as Megaplex wasn't the man he used to be. Like an aging wrestler his physique went downhill once he began getting up in the years. His red helmet that gave him the ability to grow in size was displayed in his home on a counter, however he didn't live a lavish life these days. It was a mess of an apartment but it was all he had. He removed a bath robe to reveal his dad bod and gut before climbing into his bed.

The elder stateman of a hero was asleep when somebody came through his window. It was the same person who killed Lady Liberty in broad daylight back in Liberty City. The figure remained in the shadows as they grabbed the Megaplex helmet off of the counter piled with dirty dishes. The bedroom door of the chubby Asian man was cracked already. As the unknown assailant snuck into the room and raised the helmet to bash it's owner the door made a noise and the man's eyes opened. The last thing he saw was the spiked mohawk of the Megaplex helmet before it caved in his skull.

I've got I think four posts to read before I can make a post with my guy, I started an opening the other day then a bunch of life shit happened LOL. Had to work on a new (used) truck I just got that crapped out on me Friday evening. I DID come up with some stuff as far as villains go, another founding member of the Alliance will turn up dead, its gonna get nuts.

Also, I'll have a little extra time to RP cause the fam is going out of town. I do work Monday next week though, but then I get a four day weekend.

Darkwing Duck (just minus the ducks)

Let's. Get. Dangerous.

Ever since I saw this image of a revamped forgotten character from Marvel's past I thought about a story adapted from Darkwing Duck just with humans instead of anthropomorphic animals....

So the general idea isn't note for note redoing Darkwing just with humans, cause doing comedy sitcom type stuff isn't really my jam. In my head I imagine this is the darker themed pulp character that the duck version would've been the parody of. Batman is to Batduck as Darkwing is to Darkwing Duck. A pulp themed hero in purple. A fearless young pilot. A young girl in need of a new home. His rogues gallery that's on par with Batman and Spider-Man... IDK why Disney hasn't done more with this concept?!

A human form of Launchpad could be comedic sure, but maybe Launchpad is more daring like Race Bannon and less comic relief in this? Slight alterations here and there are perfectly fine. After watching tons of stuff from behind the scenes there were even a couple more of the badguys that would've switched sides, Bushroot being the big one. Anyway here's a handful of characters I'd hope to fill out in the RP. The idea is I'd take Darkwing to set the tone. Anyway the cast, name changes (if they're duck or animal themed), and images if I've found anything good for reference.

So yeah... I know... it's SUPER niche. I'd be doing good if I could find a handful of DW fans. HOWEVER... I can totally make an RP with just another four or five peeps. I left a ton of the characters out, and the story we roll with will be based on what we get in terms of cast. There's a ton of potential in the concept, and if I can manage to pull this off I'd love to give another RP a try with something like Tale Spin with humans rather than animals.

And that's the bare bones of it. A few pictures gave me the idea to run with the idea finally. Lately I'm just feeling nostalgic and I have a huge love for pulp characters like the Shadow, Doc Savage, and the Green Hornet. I even threw a couple spots in the cast for original characters to spice things up a bit more. If enough people are game I'll throw a CS template together and post it and we can get to work developing the rest of the RP!

Awesome! So, follow up question, does the Brute need to be human? I was hoping to make a sentient robot (ultron, vision, red tornado) would that be allowed?

Yeah that's cool it just needed to be a brute. I just did the archetypes thing so we didn't have too many of the same type of character. It could have fallen under advance techno but we've got that spot filled. So long as the character's main focus is on strength/durability, a robot brute is as good as anything.
