---CANDAELN COURTYARD---

@ghastlyInc @AtomicNut @Raineh Daze

After the second round, Jarde had slowed to a stop in front of Nori and a couple of others who had probably just came there. He was tired and needed a short break, his torso bent forward with his hands on his knees. "Haaah... haaah... I need a... I need a break. I could run backwards. I could sing. Maybe. But I can't do both and not get this tired." He wheezed as he took a glance the new people with Nori.

"Oh... hey..." He said to the maid as well as the figure behind that he could swear he knew. "There's... someone behind you... She's... familiar."
@Aristo
Well you're welcome to apply.
No worries guys but the cast has thinned out though. I wonder if I should reopen the interest checks.
Uh...I'm sorry for not telling first, but... think I had to take a hiatus from here for the time being. My health's been terrible lately, and I don't know if I can continue for now.

Once again, sorry.

It's okay. I hope you get well soon. (:

Jarde watched the bunny-eared girl perform the little dance. "Wow. That was good." He said. "Though, I think you should've smiled a little bit more."

"But can I sing that while running backwards around the courtyard three times? I'm not sure if I even recall all the lyrics correctly." He asked, more to himself than the rabbit girl with him. He made a heavy sigh. "At least it didn't tell me to actually dance. Just to run." He then turned to the rabbit-eared girl with a bright but defeated smile. "Thanks miss. I'm Jarde by the way and you are...?"

Regardless of the rabbit girl's reply, Jarde would then make a big inhale followed by the inevitable exhale. "All right. Let's get this over with." He said as he began stretching his arms and legs. "Hey uhh, can you pretend not to see what I'm about to do?"

Jarde then began running backwards while singing the nursery rhyme. And by 'moving', he was doing a slow jog and by 'singing', he had already replaced some of the words of the lyrics with either synonyms or homonyms or completely unrelated words. The amount of 'ra' and 'wa' was also inconsistent.

He had stumbled several times already but quickly recovered. However, he was not even finished with the first round.
Whose decision is it whether or not to go after the rest of the regiment?

You guys are. More specifically, the opinions of your characters on the matter will decide what shall be done next.

-@Polaris North-

You summon a Mauthe Doog which stood vigilantly to protect you as the battle raged on. Fortunately, the Dwarves and the Varjans have begun to ignore you and your allies and focused their efforts on each other.

The Ereb prince Jarde arrived while keeping a fair bit of distance from the wolf monster you summoned. "Myno, was it? Come on, we have to get out of here." He sheathed his sword and picked you up, slinging one of your arms over his shoulders.

The pain you have sustained was slipping you almost into unconsciousness and you could only hear Jarde's faint voice giving out orders as you were half-dragged out of the battle.

-@ToadRopes-

With the Dwarf in your way taken care of and likely immobilized thanks to your blow to his leg, you reach Jarde's group as the Dwarves and the thick-armored men began focusing on each other, paying lesser attention to everything else.

You spot Jarde carrying someone and he, too, also spotted you. "You!" He called you out. "It doesn't seem like you're part of the fighting, you should get out of here as soon as you can!" He told you. "In fact, you should join us for now. We'll have a higher chance of surviving if we stick together." He suggested.

"Come on!" He went towards the wyvern and its riders whom you protected from the Dwarven Bolters earlier. It appeared that they have landed with the winged creature having sustained injuries.

-@Fubsy, @Nanashi Ninanai, @cloudystar, @Lady Athena & @Darkmoon Angel-

Eclisse managed to dispatch the two Varjan Elites and now there were none to threaten the wyvern group for now.

However, they were now surrounded by the Dwarves and the Varjans fighting each other but ignoring them. For now at least, who knows when they would get roped into the fighting again?

Jarde, with Myno slung upon him, met up with the group and soon, Merilia too. It appeared they were the only ones who were remotely together while the rest were somewhere in the chaotic battle.

-Everyone-

Jarde took a look at everyone in the group to find out who was present. He found Eclisse, Angelise who has the unconscious Nyx on her horse, Roane on her injured wyvern along with Taka, Myno on Jarde's shoulders and Tomoe the newcomer who Jarde did not know her name yet. Merilia was also present with her sword still unsheathed and watching for any hostiles that would approach them. There was also the Mauthe Doog Myno had summoned.

"Tsk!" The prince began thinking how to get his regiment out of the mess when suddenly, a loud thunder cracked and bright lightning fell on a large portion of the fighting Dwarves and Varjans. When the dust cleared, a woman of blue clothes and hair quickly approached the regiment.

"Lord Jarde! This way!" The Sage woman yelled. "We must leave!"

"What about the others?" Merilia protested. "Keerin, we can't leave them behind! We should look for them!"

"We cannot do that amidst all this chaos!" The woman named Keerin retorted. "Surely you all agree?" She questioned the rest of the regiment.

"No! We can't abandon them!" Merilia continued to protest before turning to the rest of the regiment. "Come on you guys! I know we haven't known each other for long but it doesn't mean we shouldn't try to look after them!"
I'm back guys but I'll update tomorrow for the others to post and for me to rest up from my field trip.

@Polaris North
Nice, a King. He'll have to wait though since I need to stare at the character sheet and await the gods' verdict before he gets approved.

“Are you in need of aid knight? I think you mentioned having need of a song?”
Nori Ito

"Huh?" Something had answered Jarde's pleas but it was not the spirits of Candaeln's library. It was a female of light brown complexion, white hair and, most notably, a pair of rabbit ears. Jarde had never seen her kind before. Though then again, he had not really seen other races save his own.

Still, help was being offered and Jarde desperately needed it. "Yes ma'am, the Spirit of Candaeln's Library placed a dire curse upon me. In order to break it, I must do the actions that is written here in this note." Jarde then gave the note to Nori for her to read. "It's a... an embarrassing thing to do but it must be done unless I want my hair turn into snakes and my food turn into... bad stuff."
@Asura

Yes it is. In fact, it has more room than ever. :D
