"Hmm~ We should be thanking you, sir, for protecting our King from that fireball. Not that a simple fireball would have done her much harm, though. Don't worry about the Cafe, hm? We'll have it cleaned up soon enough."
Suzue Yamazaki

"Ah yes, it would probably only leave soot on her. Well I didn't know at the time that you were Devils." The priest agreed. "Then again, I still would've done the same regardless. Reflexes and all that, you know?"

"I don't mean to sound too forward, dear, but perhaps you could tell us some information about those...troublesome children."
Suzue Yamazaki

The priest was quiet for a bit, deciding how to answer that question. "I'm... That information is normally classified. But since you've been a big help, I guess I can reveal just a bit. However, I do ask of you that you do not reveal this to just anyone. It is classified for a reason and it would be... bad if such revelations reach the supernatural worlds."

"They are cultists. Followers of one of three evil deities. Their main objective is to bring their master into our world... worlds." The priest revealed. "They were mostly silent and few in number back in the day but since... something happened, they have become active and numerous. I and a huge element of the Church, under the orders of the Pope, have taken it upon ourselves to stop them. Whatever their schemes are." He explained. "I'm... I'm afraid that's all what I can tell for now. Besides, this fight is not your fight. It is between the Church and the cultists. Unless one of their gods gets summoned, then it becomes... complicated but such a thing is unlikely."

"It was because God died, isn't it?" Asia suddenly spoke, sparking surprise from the priest. "The reason why these... dark powers, are active?"

The priest's expression grimmed. "How do you know this?"

"I was nun once. And my peers told me all about this. All about Atuyan, Ekarn and Wangkor." Asia answered and revealed more. "I... didn't think they were real. They never really told it in a factual way, if you know what I mean."

"Well, I'm afraid they're real. Evidenced by the... scuffle earlier." The holy man replied. "Well again, I must thank you. Though, may you tell me your names? I am Calvin, by the way."
That feeling when you have an RP where you have Fire Emblem's Corrin and Felicia fight against Magnus the Red (yes, that Magnus the Red).

Also, big thanks to the people who have kept my Guild roleplay alive and going more than my other RPs. It's definitely not comparable to the other RPs mentioned here but it means a lot to me as a noob GM.

Delilah nodded. "I, too, wish to keep these ne'er-do-wells alive. Well alive for us to know who they are and what they were doing in the cafe. After that, well..."

The King sighed and gave her order. "Suzue, Kael, Asia. You shall ask the priest who he is and other important information. He clearly knew who these... hostiles were. You have my permission to use force should he try to be hostile." Delilah continued. "Sato, Daithi and James. You shall be the ones who shall interrogate our captives. Learn who they are by any means necessary. Should they prove unbreakable... I'll leave the next decision to you."

"As for me, our little skirmish had many witnesses of whom I must fix. I expect results when I return. And a clean cafe."

Asia placed the unconscious priest on the couch in the employee lounge of the cafe. In a few moments, he stirred with consciousness. You were the first people he saw and he was still quite groggy. "You... you people... are Devils..." He muttered as he raised his torso with his hand on his head.

"Hey listen, sorry about your cafe." He started. "I'll uhh, I'll see if I can have the Church pay for any damages that were done. I didn't expect them to panic and do that. That sure escalated things, didn't it? Again, I ask for your forgiveness for the trouble in your cafe." He apologized. "I should also thank you for helping me against them. And... for not killing me."

The captives were placed in the kitchen, tied to a chair with virtually no hope of escaping.

One of them kept quiet while the other wasted no time in spouting drivel. "Release us, Devils! And perhaps our Lord shall grant you a quick death or perhaps even a life in his paradise. But if you do not, know that our Lord does not like to be trifled with and he shall make your pain legendary! Once he comes, he will come for you first and he shall tear your wretched little Underworld to pieces! And he shall--"

"Quiet!" The quiet one finally spoke. "These people shall never see. We've already won. I've seen it with my own eyes."

'Hellooooo? Harpy lady? Come on out... I promise not to kill you, I'm not that sort of Hero... you just need to show yourself first, is all.'
Marxello Catchanale

"Yeah right!" A female voice called out to you. Clearly not believing your words. "A Hero this close to Varjo? Trust me, you're that sort of Hero and more!"

You may hear her voice but you do not know where. Although, there was the possibility that she does not know where you are either. The place was huge and the lack of any lighting made it very dark. You were prepared for her attack but it did not feel like it was coming any time soon. "This place has people, you know? Pretty powerful people from what I heard. They'll make short work of you and probably hand you over to some Ogre or Dark Elf. And you REALLY don't want that to happen if you value your honor or whatever it is you're fighting for."

Unbeknownst to her, you likely knew these people. Perhaps it was time to clear up the misunderstanding.
Since @GoddessOfNature's quest is coming to an end, I shall return to GMing @13org, @The Irish Tree and @GoddessOfNature once they all decide to return to the guild.

Also, I found some free time I wrote up an update to make up the delay. However, my schedule is still iffy so for now, we'll update on Saturday and the next one will be on Tuesday.

Also also, I think we've gone long enough for me to ask this question: Are you guys enjoying this RP? Do you have any complaints or suggestions to me to improve this RP?

EDIT: I forgot to include Bast in the update but now I've done so. SARRY.

You return to the guild and night had fallen. None of your guildmates were there, only the silhouette of the dilapidated building.

However, you did spot a figure resting on the top of the building. If you look closely, you could discern that it was humanoid figure that had wings for arms. Being versed with monsters, you likely knew this was a Harpy or a related species. The reason for this creature being here was the first question that probably needed to be answered. Perhaps this monster one of Bart's invited or maybe this was a wild one looking for a mate.

Regardless, the Harpy figure spotted you and quickly launched into the air and dove again into the building. She probably saw that you were a knight of the Order and hid.

After getting him off you with a strike to his nether regions, your continuous swinging of your club eventually kill the large brigand. Although his body was brutalized, it was mostly still in one piece likely thanks to his large physique.

"Sheolred!" Bart called out to you and you see him approach you. "Are you alright?! You're... alright... Man, you sure hit hard..." He panted, seeing that you have taken care of the brigands, albeit violently. "So uhh, do you mind explaining to me why they just suddenly attacked us? Please don't tell me that you told them... some very unpleasant things."

"Also, our little scuffle isn't exactly quiet so the town guards will be here anytime soon." Bart said. "I'd rather make scarce rather than stay here and explain all this but I guess we can clear any misunderstanding that might arise?"

"If we must tell the dwarves anything, we tell them that we bluffed the old man that bandits roam these woods and he should leave. That his home will likely be occupied or attacked, since he is a defenseless old man in the middle of no where. Nothing more, nothing less. Let's go collect our payment."
Anitta

"Alright then." Neil replied. "Lead the way."

Upon returning to the Dwarven camp, you explain how the mission went. The leader of the band of scouts nodded. "I see.
Good job.
" He said. The compliment was short but one could see that he approved of the clean and smooth work that you did. "Now then, as for the payment. Do you know the layout of your rundown guild?"

"Uhh, yeah. I've... We've mapped it out." Neil replied.

"Good. We don't exactly have much gold on us so we can't pay you that way." The Dwarf replied which made Neil raise his eyebrow. "However, we have engineers and builders. We'll repair and refurbish your dilapidated guild building. We'll install beds and furniture and lights and anything else that you want added in the building." He explained. "We can also add rooms or an extra floor if you'd like."

"Do you want anything added to the building?" The Dwarf asked you. "Well, you do not have to decide now. We'll come by the guild building tomorrow and we can discuss things from there."

~@13org~

"Which path will you chose, young boy?"
Bast Ragoczy

"Oh gee, mister. That's really kind of you." The boy replied, not really reacting to your words of warning. Perhaps it even just flew over his head.

"I appreciate the offer of help, mister, I really do..." The boy then explained. "But are you sure? You don't look like the fighting type and those Varjan Warriors are pretty large. Their armor is pretty thick and I've heard they've got tricks and trinkets to deal with the magic that bypasses armor."

"But if you're really sure about coming with me, then thanks mister."
THAR BE BUMPS AS FAR AS THE EYE COULD SEE!

Anyway, what's a Rakan and a Xayah?
I was about half-asleep when I posted the update so I didn't have the energy to post this. But anyway...

Since I found some time, I wrote up an update to make up the delay. However, my schedule is still iffy so for now, we'll update on Saturday and the next one will be on Tuesday.
@Rune_Alchemist @Lord of Evil @Polaris North @Shadow Daedalus

"Get off me, Devil! Your pitiful kind's days are over!" The enemy that Kael captured spat at him "Argh!" However, each move brought him pain so he resigned to his fate as a captive. "You know not the powers that you trifle with, Devil!" He continued to dole out the harsh language.

After swatting away the summoned hound, Suzue ensnared and bound the hostile who cast a fireball at Delilah but received by the priest. The caster was not fast enough to react against Suzue's webs and by the time he realized what was going on, he was too late. He struggled as hard as he could but he could not break through the threads that bound him. Hanging from the ceiling enveloped in web, he continued to futilely struggle.

Meanwhile, James had dealt with the enemy who had tackled him but blasted away by Delilah. The hostile was barely unconscious when James captured him. However, the method by which he was subdued was too much for him and he expired before he could talk or be talked to.

The hound that was sent flying by Suzue and held in place by Sato was cleanly killed by Daithi. The summoned dog thing disappeared into ash after it was killed, leaving absolutely no trace of the monster's corpse.

The relatively little fight came to an end as things calmed down with the hostiles dead or captured. Delilah cradled the unconscious priest who was hurt pretty bad from the fireball. "Asia! Come here, quick and take care of this man!" It was only then that Asia reappeared and took the priest from the King's hands.

"Everyone, I would like to say that you all did a very good job at containing this situation." She congratulated her peerage. "Although it escalated more than I liked. But I suppose there was little to be done about that." She continued as she walked over to the captive hanging from the ceiling with webbings.

"Before I decide, I would like to know: What would you like to do with these troublemakers? We could interrogate them as to who they are but we could also dispose of them immediately. We do have another source of information here."
Hey guys, I'm supposed to update today but due to constraints, I must delay it until this Friday.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
