You were on your way to the guild headquarters' location, coming from Mahigan. While you were on your way, you encounter a lone human male on the road. The dark made it a bit hard to see him but he looked young with brown hair wearing attire fitting for an adventurer. He also looked tired and deep in thought but his thoughts were interrupted when he noticed you behind him.

"Oh hello!" He greeted, startled. "Uhh, good night- I mean, good evening!" You see his eyes keep flitting towards your equine lower body. "Uhh, I'm just... I'm just heading to the guild. It's uhh, newly-formed. The building isn't even repaired yet." He explained, even if you did not ask. "So uhh, yeah. I'm part of the guild and uhh, I've just returned from a request and uhh, I've got something for the whole guild."

"Erm, sorry for wasting your time and stuff." He apologized. "But you know, we could- we could travel- walk down the road until we have to part. That way, neither of us would be lonely... right?" The boy offered though you might want to tell him that you were part of the guild as well.

"Oh, you meant him... He is from the guild. I promise you, he will do nothing to you as long as we are here. I don't know anything about his past, but I'm sure that he won't attack anyone without a good reason."
Freyr

"What?! Really?" Haley said in disbelief. "Well... if you and Mister Minotaur over there says so...

She followed the group inside the building where Mark had asked Magnus and Freyr why they were males, the general knowledge being that there was no male monster in the world. Right after Magnus and Freyr had answered, Haley walked up to Mark with a serious expression on her face. "Hey. Apparently you're part of this guild and don't fly into bloodthirsty rage upon the sight of monsters. Freyr and the other guy also trust you. And for that, I apologize." She bowed. "But I'm keeping an eye on you, okay?"

"I'm sorry if I sound a bit rude... But can you explain yourself a bit regarding this... genocidal thing, Marxello?"
Freyr

"It's not the entire Order, Freyr." Haley spoke before Mark could. "The Order, as a whole, opposes monsters but their rules about it varies in each nation. However, we're the closest to Varjo and they're on a strict 'kill monsters on sight' rule. Heck, I heard they also attack angelic beings, regardless if they're corrupted or not." The Siren explained. "But I think they're just crazy since I've heard they attack pretty much anyone they don't like. I've also heard that they're the ones that pulled the Order into a war with the Dwarves. The unmonsterised ones, I mean."

Suddenly, the doors of the guild was opened and in came Bart. "Hey guys! I'm back! What're you doing here? We have a camp outside, you kno--" He stopped when the group appeared to be in the middle of a conversation. "Am I interrupting something?"

"As long as you keep touching them, they won't hurt you. Throw them on the lake when you are ready to cross it. They will freeze the water, so we can simply walk across the river. Just be careful, don't drop them on your own body."
Bast Ragoczy

"Whoa, thanks mister! You sure have a lot of tricks up your sleeve!"

The two of you reach the river by nightfall. The body of water was pretty wide but with the magical cards, an icy bridge was made and allowing passage across it. Absalom was awestruck for a moment but continued on after, still dragging the large sword behind him. "Say mister. You've gone to a lot of places, right? What's it like? What kind of people do you meet? How many places are there? Have you met the king?" He began with a set of questions. "I'm just curious is all. I haven't been outside the port, you know?"

"Anyway, it won't be too long now, mister. The capital is just ahead."
@Silver Carrot

Accepted. Yay horses!

Don't post yet though, I'll write you in on the next update.
@Silver Carrot

Welcome!
A question: Are you roleplaying the OC or the canon character?

"Ah...you may call me Suzue, Calvin. Suzue Yamazaki to you humans. And this is Asia. I'm sure the others wouldn't mind being introduced either. They a little...excitable but most of them are good little ones."
Suzue Yamazaki

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Miss Yamazaki, Miss Asia." Calvin bowed his head once. "I must say I have not met any arachnid creatures in my ventures. I'd like to know more about you and your kind if I am permitted."

"My apologies, honored guest, but I would rather not name myself for the time being. Please understand, it's a personal preference."
Kael

"I understand." The priest replied. "Though, then you'll have to forgive me if I refer to you as Mister Shadow Man when the need arises in the future." He added. Figuring if that statement was a jest or if he was being serious proved to be more difficult than one would think since he delivered it with a friendly smile.

"Anyway, I will not take up too much of your time." Calvin began as he stood up and stretched a bit to regain full control of his body. "Once more, I thank you again for helping me. Though may I request one last service? May I use your comfort room?" He asked with a sheepish smile on his face.

Asia pointed the priest to the correct direction. When he was gone, she turned to Suzue and Kael. "Guys, I don't really trust that man." She confessed. "I feel like... I really feel like he's hiding something. From us, more specifically. I think he has a hidden agenda." Asia shared her view. "Maybe... maybe it is just a feeling. But I do think we need to keep our guards up around him. I'm sorry if I sound... bad."

"Besides that, I..." Asia hesitated, as if she was going to say something unthinkable. "I think we should hold this information from our King." She suggested a very questionable action. "Hear me out, you two. I am loyal to Lady Delilah but I also care about her. Knowing her, she might get herself entangled in this mess out of a sense of justice or she might want to get back at them for attacking us. Not only would that get herself in danger, that might also derail her current objectives of finding out what happened to her parents."

"It's... just a suggestion. Something to think about, that's all."
Right-o!

Anyway, sorry guys for the lack of update yesterday. I had to entertain the birthday guests but I will have a post up soon.

"I suppose there isn't much point in dancing around the issue, so I'll be straight with you, I want to know who you are and who's this 'Lord' of yours? Going of what I can infer from what you said earlier, He's definitely not a Devil, but he is a supernatural of some kind, so that makes you what? Cultists? Acolytes? Minions?"
James Ashe-Hartnet

"What is the name of your so-called Lord?"
Daithi Akasuki

"We are the followers of Atuyan the Whisperer." The cultist, quite surprisingly, answered without hesitation. Surprising even his companion. "He is a god of immense power and once ruled over all the planes in the distant past. However, his rule was cut short when his fellow gods at that time tricked him into his downfall and has remained dormant ever since. But, he made a vow that he would return and take back what was his once more."

"And that time dawns, Devils." He continued. "Unlike your masters, or the masters of the angels, or the masters of the other supernatural, our master does not discriminate. He welcomes and rewards all that would serve him faithfully. And woe to those who defy him."

"So what say you, Devils?" He then asked. "Why not serve Lord Atuyan and be granted a place in his world? Since you are a Devil of much power, he would certainly give you a higher position than me. More than that, he will also give you anything you ask for. The most extravagant of luxury, the most beautiful women, the most finest food. It's not too late, you know?Perhaps recommend it to your friends?"

The Sylph introduced herself as Celes. Her mischievous nature was clear as day yet she said something surprising. She decided to join the fledgling guild and undertake quests for it. Whether it was to widen her range of mischief or an honest reason to give a helping hand, Celes was not taking 'no' for an answer and so she, Freyr and Magnus returned to the guild, reaching it by nightfall.

They found the place seemingly empty, a large, lone silhouette in the darkness, but suddenly something shot out of the building and landed in front of the three guild memebers. It was a figure familiar to Freyr. It was Haley, the Siren from Bast and Freyr's quest yesterday. Her expression was one of panic and fear and she scrambled to speak. "Freyr!" She immediately recognized the Viera. "Thank the gods, you're here! There's an Order Hero inside the building right now. You need to do something!"

The guild had an Order Hero as one of its members but Haley should probably be forgiven for not knowing who was part of the guild.

~@BCTheEntity~

The Harpy creature gave no reply to your words, the only response you received was a fast whirl of wind. It was not towards you nor was it even near you. You then heard voices and talking outside, the only sounds that could be heard in the silence of the night. Should you investigate, you would find your fellow but monstrous guild members. You recognize Freyr and Magnus but they had with them a girl of green hair that you did not know.

Also with them was a Harpy creature, likely the one verbally attacking at you earlier. She was speaking to them in a panic. Knowing the situation, she was probably warning them about you. But hopefully your guildmates would know better and clear the misunderstanding.

Hopefully.

"Whoa! You're quite the magician, aren't you mister?" The boy remarked with wonder at your brief magical show. "You also talk funny. You're really funny, mister."

"You haven't told me your name yet, have you?"
Bast Ragoczy

"Oh, I'm Absalom. Or Abe for short." The boy introduced himself. "What about you, mister? You must be pretty famous huh? Since you can do pretty magics. I'm sorry if we haven't heard of you. We don't get much news in the port. Lord Araghast and the priests don'rt really talk much and only the suicidal would attempt to make smalltalk with Lord Araghast. Though I'm pretty sure not even Lord Araghast knows much news about the outside world."

"Anyway, follow me, mister. It's been a month since Lord Araghast left so he's probably at the capital or somehow still on the way there." And so, the two of you began your walk of vengeance. You two soon exited Boreal Port inconspicuously. This deviation from your original quest appeared it was going to take a while so you likely will not be returning to the guild until tomorrow.

"Also, there's a river that we need to cross. If you have any magic that can help us cross it, we will save so much time." Absalom said. "Otherwise, we're going to have to go east and go through Sonarra."
@13org

Since Goddess have matters on her end, I'm back to GMing your group.

But you can post as Bast if you'd like since the next update will be coming at the end of the week because we missed yesterday's update.
