Had 3 minutes really passed them by already? No matter. The activity they had to do to pass was likely simple as it appeared the room was meant to contain them rather than offer a hidden means of escape, evidenced by the acid having no effect. Still, there wasn't a lot of time left to really experiment and test out different hypothesizes and whatever they wanted to test, they had one shot at it. Hopefully, it would prove true, but what were the testers looking for? Clever solutions? Displays of proper reaction? Mushy-gooey stuff? The primary motivation of the test still had not been made clear and yet... Make a decision or fail the test.. Inaction wasn't the right thing but as their only male teammate rambled on about self sacrificed, Kyoka's brain finally putting the pieces together...

"Well I be damned..!" Kyoka bellowed her 'ah-ha!' moment allowed, turning to face Tashiro and approaching him carefully, gingerly grabbing him by the hand before squeezing it tightly as she dragged him along. Where to exactly? Well over to Rumia where Kyoka reached out and grabbed Rumia by the hand. "I know it, cuz! They be trying to be mushy-gooey!" before pulling both of them along over to their fourth teammate, Yuki. With a gentle but firm pull down, Kyoka was trying to indicate that they sit. Assuming they did so, Kyoka gently assisted Yuki to do the same so that the three of them were all sitting in a circle. Kyoka remained standing eyeing each of teammates before raising both her index fingers, apparently excited to explain something.

"Okay, I know abouts der likes of dem and what dey want! We a team, y'all, more den dat we a family! We can't go an' sacrifice ourselves all willy-nilly! Dat's why we don't play der game where one or two of us sacrifice, we win as a team and lose as one! Yin Yang isa 'bout sacrifice, true, but we demonstrated that we ain't willin' to sacrifice our teammates for gain but willin' to sacrifice our opportunity so as we fight 'nother day, y'all! Y'all got dat?"

While Kyoka may be a bit hard to understand, even with that wild explanation, the intention was hopefully understood. If the principle of Yin and Yang were of equal and opposite reaction, they had that covered with nobody walking through those doors. They didn't have to, assuming the diction of the god voice was meant to be ambiguous. They just had to come with a decision and the decision to wait and try again another day had a real life example tied to it. Kyoka had instantly pictured an assassination contract where if the conditions weren't right and there was a severe risk of losing a teammate, retreating and sacrificing that attempt there and now was preferable than maybe risking it and losing a teammate in the process!

Kyoka had a flimsy explanation for her comrades so she hoped they understood but the real one she was worried about was her cousin as the nuances of the challenge might have been lost on her. Kyoka turned to her cousin and placed an arm on her shoulder. "I know it, cuz!" Kyoka repeated again, trying make that phrase stick. "Ya gonna have to trust me."

Kyoka turned away and glanced around the room, eventually settling her eyes on the camera that was watching them. "We choosin' alright! We choose to sacrifice in orda' to move on as a team! Yin n' Yang and we in full peace here!" Kyoka shouted to make sure those listening could hear but seeing as she was part of a team she turned to their team again. There was still time to change the plan had anyone had major reservations about this path Kyoka rashly put them on, but not a lot of time. "Uuhhh... Any y'all got objections?"
@PlatinumSkink

Yea I figured as much. Still the Explorer has seen a lot more than Erika has and well, you never know if there is a hidden store or collector or something out there so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.
@PlatinumSkink

Oooh post coming soon, huh. I'll sneak my post in there quick...

Erika considered her companions' words for a moment realizing there was a lot there. First, it sounds like they were all headed in the same direction so... "Well, it sounds like we are headed to the same destination as I'm looking to make it to Stillwood to meet someone so sounds like we'll be travel buddies for a little while longer!" Erika confirmed her plans with the two as they made it to through the flooded city to the Explorer's Guide Service. It was interesting that there was a Minor Gym in Stillwood and might just make for a good test of Erika's abilities and team if she dared. Of course, Erika felt horribly ill-prepared as her team still hadn't really battled and Poli had no offensive moves available. "Minor League Gym, huh... I'd love to try once we are there but I don't think my team is strong enough yet..." Erika thought aloud to her friends as they crossed a canal. Lakewatch really had quite the charm with each water way crossing be a fun little game. Speaking of charm...

The Explorer's Guide Service gave Erika a brief pause to consider the possibility of maybe her working here. It seemed like a fun idea to wander around, helping other trainers explore the various cool landscapes. Also it might be highly advised that Erika consider taking them up on their offer for a guide as there would surely be several moments that would pay off while in the field. Erika approached the counter and studied the map of Isson, considering the possible direction of her adventure with Claire. Claire seemed like the type that might want to head to Worldedge City so maybe a map to helped them there would be good. "Hmm... Which route would you prefer from Stillwood: Mt. Strength or Mountain Valley to get to Worldedge? .. As in which might be more fun? I'll buy the map for which ever one you recommend." Erika asked for the Explorer's preference as Erika had no idea the route she wanted to take.

Further still, Erika had been considering the next moves her team but ended up kind of giving into wanting a Pokemon she's always kind of wanted to see. "Also would could is there anyway I can get a tip on finding something? I'll pay for a Master Tip if you can point me to the directions of any place I can get a Dawnstone."

Erika felt a bit guilty of maybe robbing the cute girl that was helping her of a chance to get out of the office so Erika offered one more idea. "..And I don't know if I need a guide right now but if you have a number, I'd love to call you if I ever needed one." Of course Erika realized her own wording sounded a bit auspicious and quickly stammered a recover with a slight redness in her cheeks. "I mean, anyone is fine, too, I guess." Smooth...

1 missed call
Dad

Following the Opening Ceremony, Namie had wandered off to try and seclude herself from the rest of the school eventually finding a hallway that was hardly seeing any foot traffic at the moment. Once there, Namie found relative peace as she exchanged glances outside the window down the phone in her hand. She should call him back and let him know everything was alright, right...? But maybe she shouldn't right now. The whole point of choosing this school was to make her own choices and figure things out by herself.

I'm fine, dad. Just heading to class. Namie thumbed in her text and left it at that. Besides, the two of them didn't end on the highest of notes when Namie left. Ever since she made the decision to attend Ishin Academy, her dad has been strangely aggravated about the selection. He never made it clear why but Namie thought she knew. Due to the circumstances of constantly moving, the two formed a fairly powerful dynamic as it has just been the two of them. They had time to make friends but never to keep them as they moved from city to city. As it stands, they were each others greatest friends and with Namie choosing to move away, her father probably felt alone. That's maybe why Namie was taking her first day a bit tougher than she thought...

Namie hurried on to class shortly after sending her father a text, she got a reply back almost instantly but she ignored it for now. She had to focus and as she rounded the corner to her classroom's hallways, she saw a collection of her future classmates gathering in front of the door for some odd reason. Bits of the conversation managed to reach Namie's ears and she figured an accidental bump or something happened, though she didn't care beyond knowing the reason.

"Excuse me." Namie muttered only giving an unenthusiastic expression and tone to her classmates as she brushed past those that were still outside the class. Once inside the classroom, it didn't take Namie long to find her seat as her eyes were drawn to the lone desk in the front row. Hers. Part of her wondered why she was designated as seat one but the other parts of her were glad for the recognition and the opportunity, with those prideful feelings starting to creep into an arrogance that made her think she was just better than her classmates in some way or another.

A few of her classmates had already settling in their seats and even though Namie had a momentary urge to turn around and greet them, her mind drifted away to other thoughts about how school will be like and the now waning concerns about her father. Did this school really think they were trying to be scary with that introductory speech? She could handle it and if she's already number one in the class, she had a better shot than most in this room.

As the disembodied god voice spoke, Kyoka paced around the inquisitively, passively listening to the instructions of their challenge. In truth, Kyoka was more interested in the intricacies of the challenge that they were in at the moment. The voice was a nice touch as Kyoka considered the different ways they might have done it and wondered why did they decide on one or the other. More importantly, where exactly were they? A pure white room in the middle of somewhere? A mansion? Nowhere? Was this just a Genjutsu? Whatever the case, Kyoka had to run experiments and five minutes was not a lot of time.

By the time the voice had finished, Kyoka was already standing in between the doors facing the wall. She tapped at the wall and then knocked placing her ear up to the wall to try and hear if it was hollow or not. Still not satisfied with the evidence gained, she leaned forward and licked a line across the wall and considering her very acidic spit, it should melt anything it came into contact with unless the test was specifically designed around not escaping the room and being stuck with the choice presented.

As Kyoka listened to her saliva sizzle on the wall, she turned to see Rumia almost make a crucial mistake. "..! Wa-!" Kyoka began her yelp before suddenly stopping as she noticed Rumia halt. A sign of relief came form Kyoka's mouth as she rubbed her forward trying to relax. It was too soon to consider anything. They had five minutes for a conclusion... A conclusion and not a decision, huh...

Kyoka quietly considered the commentary of her teammates including the newbie that joined their team. They would have to get acquainted later. Yuki had the right idea. Blind obedience to the task was certainly dooming all four of them to failure. This was supposed to be a challenge, not a task.

The new boy offered his pence which was similar to Yuki's, raising the valid point of there was no stated consequence if they don't choose only if they enter the doors. Furthermore, the dictation of the god voice had left a lot of room for open interpretation. In order to successfully advance, only two people may enter either room. Was she over thinking or was this meant to be taken at face value? "Don't surmise nuttin' yet, folks. I reckon dis a game to dem fellas and we ain't suppose to use dem doors at all. But y'all heard dat der voice. In orda' to pass, ONLY two may enta'. So maybe we ain't suppose to lay aroun' ere."

Wow. All alone in front of the class.

Kyoka went with what came natural and that was with the flow. Pulled in for a few selfies didn't matter, in fact, seemed natural as Kyoka stuck out her tongue and threw up her index and middle finger in a peace sign for the camera. She didn't really understand some of her cousins antics but that didn't mean she didn't enjoy going along with them all.

"I reckon we ain't see der last dat boy scout, cuz. He played awfully sweet on me but I think he ain't the faintest clue what he getting into." Kyoka slurred the moment Kurin had departed them after that sweet invite for noodles later. Despite Kyoka's lust, she wasn't an idiot and anyone that thought they had a chance with the hillbilly crackhead were bound for a lot of pain. There was no off-switch to Kyoka's Kekkai Genkai so anything Kurin or Kyoka had in mind for each other would also include agonizing chemical burns for the boy scout.

"Dat der special one, huh cuz?" Kyoka spat a rhetorical question after her cousin, following her hand to the Yin-Yang Scroll. "Sure thing, cuz! And I agree dat we keep aroun' dat cutie-pie, Hime. She's a fresh doll, dat one!" Kyoka said after her cousin in earnest as she had no complaints keeping Hime with them. It wasn't even a matter of practically but rather for Kyoka to hang onto someone other than her cousin for once.

"Woah der darlin'! Come here!"At the sight of Hime's eager acceptance, Kyoka approached and wrapped her arms around her new friend, pulling her in close to press their bodies together. Holding Hime this close, Kyoka swallowed a lump in her throat as she deftly rocked her pelvis so she was grinding up against Hime's front side. Kyoka's cheeks flushed a deep red and her mouth drooped open in exhaling a warm breath of delight, revealing a web of saliva bridges much like a predator connecting various parts of her mouth for a brief moment before they broke. "Welcome to der family, Hime Yuki!" Kyoka warmly welcomed her new 'friend' by ceasing her grinding and instead sliding her hands down to Hime's rear, palming each cheek with obvious greed before giving them a gentle squeeze.

If Hime didn't try to squirm away from Kyoka's rather invading grip, Kyoka would hold her 'friend' until they were teleported away. Her attention would focus away from Hime for a moment as the Hokage spoke but Once they arrived in a strange blank room, Kyoka turned her attention back to Hime. "You don't worry a thing, darlin'. We'll be Jonin yet wit dis team!" Kyoka said finally relieving Hime from her grip and stepping away. "Suppose be ready fer anything, huh cuz. Let's do it."
