... Well... I can take a look, at least. If I can just keep playing Mariette as she is, then sure. ... Hah.
@TheIrishJJ It isn't too late to join this. And, well. The players are pretty spread out right now. I'd like any new characters to start out at Kalmia's lab in Pureplain City. But, otherwise, depending on whom you might want to join in I can assist you with getting where you want. After all, these players keep running into ridiculous circumstances that take forever to clear up, as long as I ensure you don't run into any (and you don't get into any on your own) then catching up would be a breeze!

@Valkan Answered that in a PM. I will note I will usually not answer what Pokémon live in specific routes, but for the sake of the opening post, I suppose I could be a bit lenient. A little. Anyways. Don't make too long posts when we're past the opening post. This is Casual, after all. XD
@Bishop Nothing beats the feeling of joy sitting down with the most recent console to play what one considers to be their new favorite game that they got the physical copy of. I do suppose it might come down to how you were raised; I grew up with consoles and prefer to play them any day. It just FEELS right. Can you explain the appeal of playing on a computer over consoles? jk, no need. I play games on all consoles, including PC. There are exclusive games that could not be played if you don't own the newest console for it, so there's that detail too. Many of my favorite games would be unavailable to me if I kept to the PC, only. Playing an RPG or a platformer on a PC... just feels unnatural to me. The same way, FPS-es and real-time strategy games belong on the PC to me. They CAN be on consoles, but it feels less natural.

It's not a matter of having the greatest tech to me (though yeah, the sheer joy of opening the box to the newest console is unparalleled), it's a matter of playing the games I want to play and play them the way I want to play them. And I want to have a machine sitting by my giant TV while I sit back in the sofa across the room with a controller in hand and a giant smile on my lips, and other people in the building perhaps coming by to have a look and, who knows? Perhaps grab a controller and join the fun on the same machine without needing an extra PC of their own! We can all group together in front of the TV and play on the same console with a multitude of controllers! Ain't that just the greatest?

Granted, we probably COULD set up a PC to do the same, but... We wouldn't be able to do it in front of Super Smash Bros, Mario Party, or whatever other exclusive and hilarious games. Haha. ... Then again, we probably could with the right set-up and illegal ports, but EH! I mean legitimately! The authentic experience!

I do understand your appeal of PC. I wouldn't want to play Overwatch or Age of Empires on console even if I could (oh, yeah, I can on the former, oh well). But to me, I just plain prefer my PC to be for other things than gaming and have the consoles be my bundles of joy that I go to only to be entertained. And for the exclusive games. That's my appeal of consoles. And that's about it. Heh.

Edit: Now, I don't actually have a giant TV, nor a particularly large room to be across as I play on my normal-sized TV, nor actually anyone else in my buildingapartment who might come by while I'm playing... But it was a matter of painting a picture! Okay!? XD
I'll note said child has four (higher-level) Pokémon that your Pokémon has no means of defeating which all have means to which to defeat him back, on the subject of bullying. Which I concur, sounds pretty mean.
welp that sucks that everyone is dropping

... No? ONE, one person. Don't make it into a bigger deal than it is.
@Valkan ... Getting knocked-out by a Stantler using his own Pokéball caused me to laugh. XD

Anyways, yupp. Seems like an alright enough dude. You are leaving it to me how exactly he got his invitation, eh? Yeah, that works excellently. You'll... actually be (tied if Delta44 comes back) oldest of the player characters, though there are multiple at 16. That's fine, too. I'd probably say 18 would be too old, but 17 is alright enough. Still just under the maturity line. Haha.

Anyways. As for your Pokémon and character, they're totally alright. Ezra is accepted! You may move him and his Pokémon over to the characters tab. Feel free to have your first post be arriving to Kalmia's lab. She actually has a visitor right now, inside her own house, but that's minor details. Ask me for any and all details you might need and I'll provide. Welcome to Pokémon: Start!
@Landaus Five-One So, let's see here. Dar'vech is leaking magic everywhere from an abandoned building in the commercial district, and that should be easy to sense for standard Magical Girls.

Then there are these Swarm Hunters that are basically huge spiders that are controlled by Dar'vech and have spread through the north part of the city. Stealthily or highly detectable?

If there's anything else that is highly evident that I've so far missed and/or gotten extremely wrong, can you summarize that for us? I've read the posts, I'm just trying to wrap my head around what it all means.

Also, compared to usual Magical Girls, how strong are these dragons? I apologize if you've already stated so, but it just got relevant.
Tell me if I made any dumb mistakes or interpreted something wrong. Anyways.
@Crossfire@Dark Light

Lataniva nodded to Arex as he accepted to be searched. Didn't seem like she'd need to make him calm down, which was good, because that meant she could focus on seeking results faster. In any case.

She placed the hand on his forehead, and kept her eyes focused on him as she worked. Her psionics entered his mind, seeking into his memories, creating a connection to the electrical charges going on inside his brain…

<internal stuff cut>

First her look was the pinnacle of focus, staring at him with a stoic look. Then, she blinked, unmoving but her eyes nonetheless showing alarm, before her eyes focused with an anger as she continued to hold her hand in place while her muscles tensed. Eventually, she relaxed, but still glared at Arex as she did. Then she stood there for a bit, before… she jerked to, a bit, recoiling from nothing. She held her hand in place, but glared at Arex as parts of her body twitched their muscles restlessly, her fingers grasping. Then, finally, she tore her hand away from Arex’s forehead, much more violently than it felt like such an action needed, and she glared at him coldly. Maybe not him, really, but she sure glared at his head for several moments before turning to speak to Stryker.

‘Stryker. Arex is, somehow, artificially part-Dalentian. The people who created him probably wished to enhance humans with Dalentian properties, and they had other Dalentians helping, I couldn’t see if they were there willingly or not. They’ve installed working defenses into his head should another Dalentian try to read his mind, something which before this point I would have told you was impossible.’
She told, giving Arex a little glare before looking to Stryker again.

‘They’re trying to hide it from Arex as well. He doesn’t know what they’ve done. It’s hidden in there, but when I try to pry, it burns the connections. However, thanks to Arex actively cooperating, I found at least something. Arex took a muscle fibre from the station. It had been on display, signifying something important. But when he tried to process it here, it somehow realized it had been stolen and the nanobots inside mixed into a bomb and blew up. That’s all I could find without destroying Arex's mind by prying deeper.’
So Lataniva declared, and that’s that.
So, um. Should I post my reaction to what Swarm's doing or wait for @Eklispe or perhaps other players to post first?
