Sorry, got sick and lost will to interact with the world at large
Alright, here you go. Updates will hopefully be more frequent than this, heh.

@Pikmin Eye ... Yupp. Now what? Also, are you travelling with Trubbish out or in his Pokéball? I'd assume he was in the Pokéball when you crossed the river, but after that? Because that Stench ability has impact on the wildlife. XD

@Rune_Alchemist So, I was a little confused as to what exactly to do here, but if you want to have this date of yours, then sure. I can provide all of the materials, including restaurant prices.

@Pirouette If you feel Gibs would react differently to Play Nice than I wrote, tell me and I can change that. If you simply wish to throw a Pokéball now, I can add the result to the current post. Otherwise, write and I shall respond.

@Eklispe@Joshua Tamashii Added that for the town you'll eventually reach. You're free to continue conversing, triggering random events or whatever. Heh.

Nicely posted, everyone.
@Pikmin Eye
After Martin’s words, Trubbish turned his body, looking out over the river and then into the dark cave that led back, before turning to face Martin again.

‘Trubbish,’ he confirmed, nodding to Martin and determining that following Martin out of this unfamiliar environment was with all likelihood his best option.

So, crossing the river on a Goldeen.

It’s not going to be easy. The current is powerful, and it’s a challenge enough that Goldeens flock to brave it, to prove themselves. The additional weight of Martin could, perhaps, make it insurmountable. However, through enough effort and stubbornness, with the assumption that Martin didn’t lose his grip in the current to be washed away, they’d eventually get to the other side. Going UP to see what might await further along the river would be impossible, but across works, if barely.

Now on the other side, soaked again, Martin was free to delve deeper into the cavern. And… it continued for pretty far with no changes. The cavern went up and down, it was really dark, Durants crawling here and there, Heatmors chasing them, and no other changes on this side of the river except the cave was slightly turning right.

As he walked through this particular part, he’d note small black creatures sleeping here and there in small pockets around him, and occasionally one would pop out of the wall to perhaps gaze curiously at him in the dark.

Pokédex Entry #529 – Drilbur, the Mole Pokémon. They and Excadrills dig out mazelike nests underground in which they live. Drilbur is known for being able to travel very fast through soil, able to reach 30 mph by putting its claws together and spinning rapidly, drilling through earth. They’re known to be rather friendly around people.

… But, if Trubbish was outside his Pokéball then they were quick to flee. Otherwise, they might watch him pass, or otherwise just vanish into the wall again, digging themselves who knows where.

And… suddenly, something very foreign rested on his left. The corridor continues, as uneven and rough as ever leading who knows where, but to his left awaits a metal door. It’s not big, it’s the size of a normal human door, the kind that slides open. The kind that slides open with a key-card, and there’s a place to slide a key-card to the direct left of the door. There are no signs which claim where this might be, who’s door it is or what might await on the other side.

Ahead the cavern continues… who knows where.

What does Martin do?

‘Huh. You got yourself a date already?’ Yvonne asked with a somewhat raised eyebrow. ‘You sure I wouldn’t be intruding… wait, her?’ Yvonne took a moment to process and then ended up on an unresolved note, but discarding all that she raised her chin and confirmed. ‘… Very well! I am grateful for this generous invitation, and as such I will accompany on this… “date”. I warn, I am known to be somewhat picky about my food! I trust you will not disappoint!’ Yvonne crossed her arms and told with resolve.

‘Absol,’ Stefan complained, still feeling irritated about the unresolved state of the training, causing Yvonne to pat him.

‘Be good, Stefan. I’ll treat you later. Then, you can mop the floor with your opponents on the grand stage instead,’ she told, and Stefan looked a bit more content before Yvonne returned him to his Pokéball.

‘Now, then. Where to?’ Yvonne asked expectantly.

The Pikachu was taken by surprise by the sand-attack, and then turned towards Gibs. Then…

‘Pika, Pika~!’ the Pikachu called out happily to Gibs through the sand, looking extremely friendly. This was Play Nice, a move that inspires friendship between two Pokémon, intent on making enemies less willing to brutally attack.

… Except Gibles are extremely used to tackling their friends, and the goal in this case was to befriend the Pikachu anyway, so Play Nice (probably) completely failed and the Pikachu took Gibs smashing straight into his face, causing the two to topple over, Pikachu with a cry of distress.

The six kilo Pikachu was now being held down by the 20 kilo Gible. This is around where Pikachu started blasting electric shocks everywhere to attempt getting Gibs off him, but due to Ground-type the electric shocks were very ineffective against the dragon on him.

So, Erika threw a Pokéball at some point here. The Pokéball hit Pikachu, who vanished into it with a flash of light, causing Gibs to fall down onto the ground. Now, the ball.

It shook once. It shook twice...

For whenever they want to get there.

There are probably shops for clothing or otherwise buildings that are warm inside where they could just heat up or so. Otherwise specify what the two are looking for.

Connected areas:
Wet Caverns. Water-filled caverns that are located to the east. There’s a small hill to climb to get to the entrance.
Route 5. The main exit of Lakewatch, leading to a grassy incline connecting mountains, forests and plains.
Route 14. The waters of Dragon Lake are also known as Route 14. It connects Lakewatch Town, Highhill Town and Stillwood Village.

There we go. Tell me if there's... any problems.
Knight
Rosaline Buckner
The Circus

So, the match was not cancelled, and Zabaniya plus Black Kaze appeared to both be in on this. Either that, or they just didn’t care. Meaning Knight had just expanded her first move of the match by making herself a target instead of actually doing any good.

Talion be praised, Knight wouldn’t have known to defend against Zabaniya had he not called it out. Realizing with a start that her holes were perfect for the shadows to strike through even if they defended against the insta-death of Black Kaze, it meant she had no choice but to go all out from the start.

Irritated, bewildered and not quite appreciating her side of Zabaniya’s magician metaphor, Knight manifested her armor, front-first to be there in time for Zabaniya’s spears. The sphere around her periodically faltered, back first, to not allow Zabaniya to notice what she was doing. When she felt the spears of darkness strike the front of her immovable armor, Knight completely manifested her armor, letting the useless sphere fall. Now she was invulnerable… but she was also blind, deaf, all those things, plus the pressure on her mind.

Zabaniya appeared to be Knight’s complete counter. She couldn’t fight her. Zabaniya could abuse any gaps Knight formed in order to see or hear, and the shadows could very effectively keep Knight away, gripping Knight’s armor and restraining her. If captured by Zabaniya’s darkness, Knight doubted she could get free. However… there was an individual here whom Knight was the counter to, in turn.

Knight took off, immediately upon letting the sphere fall. She remembered where she had heard Black Kaze had locked her legs on the metal cage. Hopefully, Knight didn’t really know due to lack of senses, Kaze was still there and had her sight blocked by smoke. Hopefully, Knight’s flight would be uninterrupted by Zabaniya and relatively soundless in the light of all that was going on and probable shouting from outside the ring. Hopefully, Black Kaze would not realize what was happening until it was too late.

The intention was to fly straight towards Black Kaze’s last known position, slamming shoulder-first into that position through the smoke. The baton was too likely to kill to be used in such a charge. Tackling was more effective.

What she was doing right now wasn’t in perfect accordance with the plan as a whole, but Knight had panicked somewhat and gone for what she could think to do. Black Kaze was still the worst threat here, though Zabaniya wasn’t far after and who knew what Talion was capable of. More than that, the woman outside weighted on Knight’s mind, but she really didn’t have the time to consider what to do about that right now.

@Eklispe Yupp. Checking funds to show you have a Pokédex is clever. And, heh, Pokédex keeping track of your money. Suppose that's how it has to work? XD Nicely posted.

@Pikmin Eye Alright, nicely posted. That's a plain good post. Heh, I see you added Trubbish to the list, there. But, yeah. Now, let me consider.

@Joshua Tamashii And, yupp, nicely posted. Yeah. Keep on the conversation, heh.
There we go. Tell me if there's any issues.

Also, I obviously don't know all the Magical Girls that are in Eli's notebook, because Deni and Eli simply scouted all those they could find for the weeks they had. It's useful to have. Should we actually go and attempt recruitment, well, I'll leave it to the GM how that's actually going to go.
Mariette
and Eli

‘… Hm.’ Mariette sounded out as Penny voiced that they may want to move, looking over at the ship. Yeah, this is right where Justine’s attack left it, they’d know exactly where they are. ‘I can move it. Tell me where,’ she told, staring at the ship. Then, Alexander made his request.

Mariette gave him a slow look, then focused her power. It took longer to open the portal due to longer distance, but soon enough she had connected a portal to fairly far away and a man-sized portal opened in front of him, leading to the forest he had requested.

‘I can leave the portal open for you, just decreased in size, so you can come back and tell when it’s time to return,’ Mariette told him. ‘Or you could simply give me an amount of time after which I should retrieve you.’ … It was a problem that she didn’t necessarily know when to get people. Which is why she wanted that phone she had requested of Alicia. Idly she checked with Absolute Direction…

… Huh. She was coming towards them, at breakneck speed, making tight corners, and- what the-

Having not connected she was in a fast-moving car, Mariette initially thought Alicia was flying fast at low altitude and making the weirdest turns. But then, the car came into view, and it seemed the answer was a little simpler. Mariette dropped the frown, and simply stared in the direction, clutching her bunny. Alicia would know what Mariette wanted to know.

Meanwhile, Eli was approaching Sue, Anaya, anyone else close to there, leafing through her notebook.

‘Are we looking for people likely to help, or everyone?’ Eli asked. ‘Because then, we have quite a few written down…’ Eli then started explaining about numerous Magical Girls she knew off, perhaps noting those whom which could be used to recruit others in turn or those who by her calculations would be likely to want to help, and such. These could be swiftly reached simply using Mariette’s portals, and so on.

@BrokenPromise@Majoras End@Card Captor@Shifter_Master@Hammerman
@Pikmin Eye There you go. Feel free to decide what you do from here. Also, I’m amused by my tale as to what happened here and it’s rather inconsequential to any plot as a whole, so I’m going to share it, if you’d like to read.

@Rune_Alchemist I did wonder a bit what I’d do with you now, but this should make enough sense. Now, then. You can probably do quick-training if you wish, heh. Then it would be the same as quick-battling, you tell me the tactics you’re going to be using, I then tell what happen and perhaps pause if something unexpected happens. You can do several at the same time if you wish.

@Pirouette … Sorry, I specifically went and checked how much HP this Pikachu would have, and it was under 40. XD

@Eklispe@Joshua Tamashii And you two can keep talking. Eklispe, I think it’s your turn? You can keep talking without my input.

Edit: Just in case, I'd like to note that the note about Amelia being cold is more like a reminder "this should be very uncomfortable", but you can still type that she just shrugs it off if you feel like it, hah.
@Pikmin Eye

Martin wandered in the direction of the flowing water. The amount of Pokémon decreased rather drastically here. While it wasn’t as extreme as to the right, the air grew colder here, too. Was that a touch of wind he was feeling? Regardless, he could climb the rocks of this vast cavern towards the sound.

And there it is. An underground river, coursing from his right to his left. It floods on an angle, coming down with plenty of sound from the uneven and rocky river’s bottom, crashing off making plenty of foam. On the other side of the river the cavern continues further, it’s just this sudden river blocking the way. The river is too deep to cross on foot, and there’s a powerful current towards Martin’s left should he desire to cross. It was difficult to lean to try to see where the river came from or where it went.

There are two sets of red fish in the water. Some are Goldeens, bravely defying the powerful current and swimming up the river to the right, displaying themselves with the grace they’re known for. The others are, uh, rather big, red fishes with vacant eyes trying desperately to swim up the current but are being flushed down left. So both fishes are facing the same direction… but each is moving in a different direction, one braving the current and the other flushed away by it. Huh.

Goldeens going up, and…

Pokédex Entry #129 – Magikarp, the Fish Pokémon. While known for being extremely weak and washed away by even the weakest current, Magikarp can survive even in the most polluted of water. They’re incredibly fertile and have spread to waters all around the world. They jump fairly high, and older Magikarps are known to brave mountains with these jumps, seeking evolution.

… going down.

But, that wasn’t all that was here. Martin could look to his right and find what appeared to be a former campsite. Someone had been here, recently, and decided to pitch a tent and light a fire for the night. Except, whoever the person was must have left in a hurry. The sticks that made a fire are strewn about and scorched from being on-fire, the tent was still there but collapsed and torn apart, and there was remnants from a bag here which contents were spilled out.

… There was a torn Team Virtue uniform (for a male) spilling out of it. … There may be other things left behind in the bag, but it was pretty clear Durants had been all over this and taken all they considered of value.

But, he could still see a couple of things if he searched the remnants of the camp.

Martin found Team Virtue Lvl 1 Keycard!

Martin found 334 P!

Martin found an Antidote!

Martin found an Thunder Stone!

Martin found 3 Great Balls!

… … …

There’s a Pokémon in one of the Great Balls.

Now what?

As Claire stopped Ralia, Yvonne called back Stefan as well. The Absol looked very unhappy with this result. Yvonne frowned, but was quick to reassure him.

‘Don’t worry. You’re still the coolest. Nobody can compete with you when it comes to cool.’

‘Absol,’ Stefan stated with surety and a nod of “of course”, looking quite proud of himself. Yvonne crossed her arms, raised her chin and looked over towards Claire.

‘This would be the point when the judges judged who was the cleverest, but I’m pretty sure everyone present is too biased to make that kind of call right now,’ she proudly stated, Stefan turning and reinforcing this call with a glare.

‘Wanna continue? I can totally do this all day, I’ve got plenty of tricks prepared to make you feel bad about yourself!’ Yvonne continued, sneering a little.

Ralia felt concern from Yvonne, but she was disguising it with a haughty proud demeanour.

But before that, as a result of this training…

Ralia gained some Clever-appeal!

… Or whatsoever. She’ll now appeal a bit more to a Clever-crowd in the first round.

Now, then.

Thing is, Dragon Rage is a projectile, described as a shock-wave but animated as a purple fireball, so no need to charge to do it. Anyways.

Gibs first sand-attack showered Pikachu with sand, causing the Pokémon to shake himself to try to get the sand off. Then, trying to counter, Pikachu let off a pika-shout and launched a Thundershock… which promptly missed, just sending some shocks into the grass at the wrong place. Gibs sand-attack was doing work. Then, Gibs launched the Dragon Rage, which Pikachu just managed to get sand out of his eyes to see coming.

‘PIK-!’ he shouted, too late, as the attack impacted and Pikachu was sent flying back, rolling in the grass from the dragon’s attack.

Pikachu fainted!

… So. Dragon Rage is a move that grows less powerful the stronger the Pokémon fighting are, so for the moment it is massively overpowered. Pikachu’s of this level cannot handle that level of power. Would Erika want to try again? There’s another Pikachu over there…

From that Rare Candy…

Pichu grew to Level 6!

Moving on.

Flushing the hill with water roused several Oddishes, who looked around curiously just to ensure they weren’t being attacked, before starting to randomly tread around drinking of the water that had been added to the soil, as a bit of a backdrop to their current conversation.

The currently rather cold air and a wet outfit was definitely not a good combination for Amelia, she might want to do something about that pretty soon.
Suppose this is the second Protectorate post, then? It was mostly that I felt like it was the most effective if I simply wrote my next part as my own post, and, well, there it is. Tell me if there's any problems.
