Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

I'd be cool with either, to be honest. Although getting on with the plot wouldn't be too bad.

Julio watched with amazement. He had never seen Asher in action, since they went to two different paths in the exam. Now that he saw how their leader fights, he wasn't surprised why Asher had been made a leader. While they were all skilled in their own right, Asher stands above them. His semblance was not something to scoff at either. He could clearly see why Terrance had lost. With Asher's speed and his consistent use of his semblance clone, it was like fighting two fast people at once. Although he could see Asher's aura reducing bit by bit with his consistent use of semblance, but the fight ended before Terrance could land a devastating blow.

Once Asher got back to his seat, Yasmin and Cedar had given them their praises. It was time to give his as well. "I agree with them. That was amazing." He said with a nod. "It also makes me wonder how to get through you and your clone." Julio thought that maybe keeping them at a distance would be the best way to do it since the clones seemed to only appear where Asher is. But his speed was something to marvel at too. Ah, he'll find out sooner or later.

His eyes trailed back to the arena. Miss Lariet asked if there were any other volunteers. Should he? Nah, if he'd get picked, so be it. But he doesn't want to volunteer.

"Well, if you say so." He said, letting the smile on his face stay as he shifted his weight again. Now that he thought about it, his fear of another awkward conversation with another person wasn't the only reason why he never talked to her. It was because she was rarely at school for the past week. He was sure that one of his friends would push him to her sooner or later to improve his socializing skills, but they never did. "A... phone?" He repeated in a questioning tone. He failed to realize how that collar that can calculate the pent up energy she had to release was something like a phone. "Ah, so it was only for you. I guess it's dangerous for you to have extra energy then?"

Ryu nodded to her question, not seemingly bothered by how horribly she said his name. It seems he was used to it by now. "We are." He was unsure how to continue the conversation from there so he expected her to say something else. Ah, the disadvantages of being socially awkward.

Zoru
@Aristocles

Zoru looked up to see Carek padding over to him. Zoru changed his position so he was now sitting down instead of laying down. "Greetings Carek. You've been awfully busy these past few days hm? What with the odd scents, wasted prey and unusual kills." To be honest, everyone in the pack had been busy these past few moons. When winter rolled off, things had took a turn for the worse instead of the better. Wolves died, disappeared and now this incident was happening. Zoru had that small hope that they could rest in this season, apparently not.

Avir
@BookGirl1993 @The Elvenqueen @GhostWing

"The walk had been relatively fine." Avir answered that first before looking at the young cub with them, worried that she might understand what they were talking about. However, he looked back at Saaba and continued, "I've convened with my contacts to see if we've found something else. Unfortunately, everything we've seen is just the same. Wasted kills. I'm afraid we're not making any progress." The tiger sighed after. Even with the join cooperation of the wolf and him, they were still no closer to finding the culprit, unfortunately enough.

His ear twitched and he turned his head towards the incoming pups and their mother. He watched in amusement as they began playing/wrestling with each other, reminding Avir of his past when he was but a young cub with a family. He stopped his memories from flowing in and gave them a grin, "Heya." He greeted. The grin disappeared and melted into a smile as Rosette closed in. "Just my daily report on the incident. Nothing too big." He replied. "As for how I am, well, I'm quite looking forward to the hunting lesson at least."

The silent atmosphere continued until Asher's voice cut through the air like a hot knife on butter. Asher stood up and headed down the arena. Before he was out of earshot, Julio said, "Show him that you're not all bark." A desperate attempt to make a pep talk? Yes. But he figured that it was the thought that counts. He leaned back onto his chair as the students waited in apprehension for the next fighter whom they expected to be Terrance.

And the blond did. He volunteered to fight Asher, his face serious. Julio watched as the male stepped down onto the arena, grabbing his weapon along the way. Miss Lariet seemed overjoyed with this. Julio looked at the screens as they switched images, now showing Asher and Terrance and their aura points. He then watched as Terrance unfolded his weapon, a large maul hammer, and then glared at Asher with such intensity that Julio was sure that Asher would've melted if it had the power to do so.

Robyn

@Fubsy @oWhiteDiamondo

Robyn listened intently, finding any tone that showed aggression. There were none. Kinow was asserting his dominance - the pack's dominance - over these lands. She was quite worried for the rust colored wolf. He was a hunter, and was born in a pack. And this pack was Ai Esperitus, one that relies on skill and knowledge just as much as strength. He was built unlike a loner. Loners tended to be all-rounders, experts in living and surviving by themselves. If anything, Robyn would think that this other wolf could take him down should he not have help.

It seems either the wolf knew that she was here, or is expecting a wolf from the pack to come. Either or, the wolf didn't show signs of fleeing just yet though, even with this knowledge. Robyn took in her scent again. It seemed familiar, now that she thought about it. It was like a memory tried to squirm its way to the surface of her mind. It was back when she was still a new member, or a year after that? She wasn't entirely sure. But she was sure that she had taken in this scent before, within the pack. But who it was, or the appearance or any other memories, never surfaced.

Once the wolf said her name, Robyn would probably remember. So she kept quiet and let the conversation continue. After all, it wasn't necessary that she should engage with the other wolf considering that they weren't fighting, nor does it look like it was leading up to that.
Robyn

@Nikki Moonlight @Fubsy @oWhiteDiamondo

Robyn nodded at Luna as she replied. Well, it was a start right? She didn't know how to follow it up so she simply sat down beside Luna. She was looking down between the paws of her forelegs as she waited for further orders. The deputy was the one in charge for assigning the patrols. Although she didn't blame him for being the late riser, Rymen, along with Luna, was part of the night patrol. Robyn was never ecstatic for night patrol because it meant less time to sleep. While they were given a chance to sleep and rest for a few hours, the noise outside isn't something one should akin to a lullaby. "Mornin' Rymen!" She greeted, much like how she greeted Angelwing, but more informal but still laced with respect.

When Luna began growling, she tensed up. Did she do something wrong or was there something wrong with their surroundings? Taking another deep breath to sniff out anything, she knew that the doe was still present and Kinow heading over. But, there was something wrong. There was another wolf, another scent. It was unfamiliar. 'A rogue' was the first thing that crossed her mind, and along with that thought was her standing up.

Angelwing gave the order. "I'll go." She quickly said. Luna was probably tired from the night patrol while Robyn, herself, was still full of energy. Not waiting for an argument to break out, she quickly dashed off to the direction of the doe and the two wolves. She wasn't as fast as Kinow or Angelwing, but her speed was quite close to the two, assuring that she would get to the destination quickly.

Once the scent started to grow stronger, she slowed her run to a walk. She was sure that if she could smell them, they could smell her too. She stuck close to the ground and hid behind a shrub. She was close enough to hear them, but not too close as to let them see her. And like Angelwing had ordered, she would not engage them. Hopefully, she wouldn't have to. It would be ideal to get out of this without a fight breaking out. That was the last thing she wanted.

I can't believe I forgot his height. I'll edit later when I get to my laptop.
Ryu Wakamatsu

Ryu heard her say something, but it didn't look like it was directed to him... or anyone at all. When she stood up, that was the only time he noticed that she was taller than him by a few inches. Such a tall girl. Then again, she doesn't seem Japanese. Her accent seemed thick too.

However the universal sign of, shaking hands in hopes that there are no hard feelings, was presented. Ryu offered a small smile and then shook her hand. "But it might hurt them. But I guess it should be fine if you really needed it." He said as his hand hung at his side once more. His eyes trailed to collar, curiosity getting the best of him. It was a piece of technology he was not familiar with - and he has certainly seen a lot of tech here at Academy City.

"What is it for?" Alright, while it was obvious it was for regulation, as she pointed out before, there has to be something else besides that. Or a more accurate explanation. His hand slipped into his pocket as he shifted his weight to his other leg. While he had seen her around, they never got around to talking. They were classmates but Ryu tended to stick to people he knew. But he at least should've remembered her name.

Mi... Mi... Alcanta?

Something like that. She hadn't written it in Japanese characters so he had to decipher it from English. Sad to say that English words don't stick to his mind easily. While he could read and understand, it's more like he doesn't remember it when it's only presented once.
