Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

I'd imagine her hugging FF and he's thinking, 'Didn't this girl just bear hug a mutated dog into submission earlier? Holy crap is she going to break me or something?' all the while patting her back in a friendly gesture.

Aw come on, we don't need another injured person. Director's gonna flip if he finds out all of the money he'd be spending on one fight excluding the collateral damage.
Elaine smiled when the Emperor said he had a plan, even though he added a little comment to degrade himself. Well, at least the Emperor wasn't a very stiff, no-nonsense, all business type of guy. It's hard dealing with those people. She should know. The previous Captain of the Northgate Guard was exactly like that. It becomes a lot harder to let loose when you need to. Sometimes, being all business can get you killed. It's nice to kick back and relax even at the most trying of times. It's what kept her going at least.

As Janus stood up and walked over to the bookcase, she followed. Her eyes shone when the bookcase slid open and revealed a secret path. Afraid of the unknown? That fear had been removed quite some time ago. After all, there was nothing that can scare her more than the sight of a bloody mess. "Trust me, Emperor, I have seen things. Things that makes you unafraid of anything else." Thinking back to that moment of seeing that sent chills down her spine. If only it was a bloody battlefield, then she wouldn't have this kind of reaction. But something like that? Oh man, one cannot simple forget about it. Elaine dove in without a single moment of hesitation, right behind Veronica.

When light began to envelop them, Elaine shut her eyes for a moment and opened them again, letting her eyes adjust to the sudden change in lighting. Hall of Dramoria huh? She looked at the paintings that depicted his life, certainly amazed by this. The stories of Dramoria always fascinated her for one reason or another and there was no shortage of said stories in her village. However, one mere painting here trumped any storyteller she knew. It was like one painting already showed her the entire happenings. Or maybe it was just her imagination. Who knows.

As they neared the end, three beings stood in their way. "The Warrior, the Mage, and the Archer?" She unintentionally said out loud as she inspected the three figures. They were made of metal, each had something that represented their class, she assumed, or preference of weaponry. When they moved, she saw the others in the group move to get their weapons. Elaine knew that her arrows can do nothing to metal beings so she only stood there. Thankfully, Emperor Janus held out his pendant - though she did not see what it was - and the three beings stopped and went back to their places and the doors opened.

It revealed a chamber. There were many odd things inside, things that the others did not seem to know as well. There was something hanging above their heads - a large skeleton. It reminded her of a lizard but it had wings spread out. How... odd. If she would let her imagination go wild, she would guess that that skeleton was one of the ancient myths - a dragon. But that was impossible, dragons never existed. Everyone knew that and that was the truth... right? She was quickly ripped away from her thoughts as she needed to continue moving to follow everyone else. She curiously looked at the other artifacts, jewels, metals and other objects in there. They were hidden so well. It's a shame no one can see them. But she supposed it is a treasury.

When they finally stopped, they stopped in front the Artifacts. She was pretty damn sure there's not a single soul out there who doesn't know about the Artifacts. Was this his plan? Elaine didn't really know how to react to seeing them. The others looked calm but she was just ecstatic. Like, they get to see the Artifacts. She, a mere guard who is a half-blood, gets to actually see an Artifact. Never in her life had she thought that would happen. She looked at Emperor Janus and nodded slowly. Might as well know what he was planning though she had a pretty wild guess on what it is.

I'm cool with either to be honest.

Madame... Tight Britches? Flash Forward only blinked at her but nodded. "Take care." He then nodded at the workers and they quickly took her inside the ambulance and closed its door. He motioned for them to wait just in case Reaper or him gets injured. He wasn't so much worried about Light. From what he saw earlier, and from his previous encounters with the monster hero, he knew she could recover without a problem. Must be nice, being a void being.

He turned back and then sped towards the area where the gigantic monster and the mutts are. As Flash Forward entered the area, he saw Violet Reaper gripping the left side of her face - as if in pain. Was she attacked there? And then her scythe burst into flames and Flash Forward held back a gasp. No, it was not because of the flames, he was used to seeing her summoning it to aid her in battle. It was the color of it - or lack thereof. Her usual violet flames was now a sickening black and he felt his gut wrench at the sight. Was there more to just her power up that he saw? Like, maybe some sort of curse or... or maybe, this power was something that broke out of its seal... He didn't know, and he was worried.

The black flames reached up to the buildings - flames so hot that it melted concrete and he could feel the heat radiating from it all the way from where he was standing. It then curved and hit the wolf - completely annihilating it. Flash Forward, in a fit of worry, rushed forward once more, just as the flames reached down to the wolves. His action was instinctive, his mind registering the pillar of flame as something dangerous to Violet Reaper, despite it coming from her own hands. He was not sure why he felt that way but he just did.

Flash Forward saw Reaper collapse onto the concrete that looked more like lava now. He grit his teeth and rushed for it anyway. Each step caused agonizing pain for the speedster - each spike of heat threatening to make him stumble. But he kept on going. He managed to scoop Reaper and her scythe off of the lava-like concrete and got out of the general area. While running, he looked down on her face and saw something he wasn't expecting. Black tendrils going back somewhere behind her head. Once out of the danger zone, he stopped and tried to carefully drop Reaper before dropping onto the cool concrete himself. He was trying to keep the groans of pain to himself.

With labored breaths, he rose up on all fours. Good Lord, he was sure to never do something like that anymore. He was sure that slower people would get the worse end of the stick when walking on something like that. He looked at his shoes and saw that the soles had practically melted. For some reason, his feet had already numbed - though the lack of pain sure was welcomed right now. He crawled towards Reaper and saw that she looked rather normal. No black tendrils or anything like that. Had it been his imagination? Or was it something else entirely? Something he should be worried about? He wasn't sure and he hated that.

He placed one hand on her shoulder and began to shake her, "Reaper, you alive?" It was obvious that she wasn't alright so he instead opted for asking that.

He looked over to Light, who was holding one of the mutts in some sort of bear hug. He lowered his mask and gave her a meek smile. "Hey Light! Can you call over the ambulance? I think we might need it." He called out. There was no way in hell would he walk now, not yet anyway. His cells still haven't healed up and he needed to eat something so it would go faster.
I got mauled by a cat the day before yesterday, so my hand is all wrapped up still. It's why I didn't post. Bandage should come off tomorrow so I'll have a post up once I can type. Sorry :(

Damn, such luck. Hope it isn't too bad.

I know you're feeling man. Finals week.
Adira watched everyone that had entered. There was that tiger-looking dude (probably part of the Felinia family) and another cloaked figure who she assumed to be female. However, the cloaked man still didn't say anything. She rubbed the back of her head as she continued to lean on the table. Were they waiting for someone else? The blonde didn't know. She wasn't impatient by any means, but still, she thought she had a job waiting for her here. In fact, she didn't even know any of the people gathering in the room. More mercenaries perhaps?

Then, another one came up and approached the Felinia. The blonde stared at her for a while, her mind processing something. She had seen her before. It only took her a few moments to realize who it was. And the younger woman was in trouble. It seems she has mistaken him for someone else. Adira thought about it, to help or not to help? Risk missing something amusing or save one's acquaintance from further embarrassment?

She stood up and then headed towards the pair. She slung her arm around the Vulpinia while saying, "Well, well! If it isn't my favorite Vulpinia? How 'ya doing Doc?" She then looked towards the Felinia, giving him a lazy grin. "Looks like Doc here mixed 'ya up with someone else. Sorry 'bout that. 'Ya know how it is with the healers, with so many people gettin' themselves hurt out there, it gets pretty easy to mix some of 'em up." It was only now that the thought that maybe a Felinia wouldn't have such a good relationship with a human - considering the fact that a lot of humans in and our of the Free States own one subspecies of the Felinia community. But she's placed herself in this situation, she could probably survive.

She then looked towards the cloaked figure who had started speaking and her arm slid of Marissa's shoulder. Oh? This all over again? She watched as the other cloaked figure headed over to the table; however, instead of using the box with spikes, she took out one her knives and began spinning it on her fingers as she read through the document. Adira watched with amusement and then paced closer to the table, tugging on the Vulpinia's sleeve to signal her to follow so they could sign up as well.

Then all of a sudden, the cloaked girl swiped the knife and then cut herself to procure some blood. Hm, Adira was pretty sure she saw that the knife nearly cut her entire thumb off because of that action but the girl didn't seem fazed so she didn't react violently either. She was quite an energetic person, it would seem. Adira's eyebrows shot up when the girl took out some sewing equipment and began sewing the wound. She gave her a smile and a pat on the back, "Sewing yourself back together huh? Can't say a lot of people can do that."

She then looked back at the contract. While she had been doing multiple jobs for the Adventurer's Guild before, she had never really joined up. The contract was pretty simple and straightforward - just like how she liked things. Adira pressed her thumb against one of the spikes until her thumb started to bleed and then pressed it against the contract. "And done." She then stepped aside and looked at her thumb, tempted to drink the blood for some reason. Ah, the weird urges you get sometimes.

Ah well, let's just roll with what we have?
@Jangel13

Hoorah for backup plans. How long has Argos been part of the peerage? 'Cause if it's more than a year, then I imagine he and Kenji would get along.
